Error : Delivery does not contain items to be picked

Hi Exps
I have created Stock Transport Order (STO) and then Delivery Note with VL10g.
In Delivery Output EK00 (Picking list Printing ) gets populated along with EKSU (Picking List EDI output).
But EK00 only turns green and EKSU turns Red saying that "Delivery does not contain items to be picked"
My Conclusions :
1) Picking is happening with EK00 due to which EKSU doesnt get any items to be Picked and it fails in creating Idoc.
I want to make both outputs (EK00 and EKSU) turning green(Successful).
How can I do this. ?
Any setting or any other approach welcome.

First Check whether the Material in delivery are relevant for picking.
If yes, then try chaning the order of the Output in the Output procedure fist EKSU then give EK00
If EK00 is green agreeed , check if any automatic picking is done , becasue once the picking is done then the EDI output is failing.

What ever you said is correct..
But my requirement is regarding the "Output Type EK00 and
EKSU".
Requirement : -
1) Bussiness Process for my requrement is : We create Stock Transport Order (STO) in Me21n then Delivery note from this STO in VL10g.
2) As delivery note gets created tow Output types get populated in Menu Extra > Delivery Output > Header
those are EK00 (For printing ) and EKSU(for sending "Picking Request" Idoc).This process is fixed in our organisation.
3) Now My problem is Both Outputs EK00 and EKSU gets populated at Menu path given above, But only EK00 turns green but EKSU turns RED saying "There are no Items to be Picked".
4) Now I want to make both Outputs (EK00 and EKSU) Green producing Printing and Idoc .
I think now its pretty clear.
Please suggest.

VL463 - No distribution: Delivery does not contain items relevant for dist

Dear Experts,
When we slect multiple Deliveries from VL06 and distribute, Only few get distributed and others fail.
The error log shows: VL463 - No distribution: Delivery does not contain items relevant for distribution.
However, If I select these deliveries individually or say 4 or 5 deliveries at a time and distribute, deliveries get distributed.
If I select more nunbers (ex: 12 or more), only 3 gets distributed and others fails with above message?
Any inputs on this are most welcome.

Which distribution mode you maintained in delivery type it should be Distribution according to the settings for the warehouse number
Also check in Logistics Execution --> Decentralized WMS Integration --> Central Processing --> Application --> Activate Decentralized WMS.

Error: InfoObject does not contain alpha-conforming value 20030729

Hi everyone,
I got this problem, that i tried to fix yesterday, but all i did was that i got realy frustrated...
I created an infoobject which is copy of 0DOC_NUMBER and has alpha coversion routine.
Mapping field in DataSource is also type character 10(VBELN) as my infoobject.
But there are some values in this field that i am trying to load, less then 10 characters long (20030729,20051116...) and shouldn't be there, because the values are dates and not document numbers.
But anyway on R/3 side this values are in field which is defined as character 10 (VBELN), and when I am trying to load Infopackage(17500 records) I get 52 errors: InfoObject does not contain alpha-conforming value 20030729.
I don't get it, since both fields are type character 10 and the values are only digits, why do I get this error message and how can I fix it?
PS:One solution is to remove alpha conversion routine from infoobject, but i don't want that.

sorry... correction, it's 'Exclusive attributes' that cannot be used for navigational attribute, you can set lower case to differentiate ... check the impact of lower case setting here ...

SMQ2 Error: Delivery has not yet been put away / picked (completely) in ECC

I am processing an Outbound Scenario..everything is fine until SMQ2 shows an error in ECC system. SMQ2 shows me the following error:
Delivery has not yet been put away / picked (completely)
Message no. VL609
My outbound delivery which was distributed to EWM system has overall picking status as blank (Not relevant for picking).
Our system is recently upgraded to EhP6, since then we are seeing this issue. Interestingly VL01NO (Delivery without reference to Order) works properly.
Other ECC-EWM integration settings are fine. Delivery Type and Item Category also look good.
I could not be able to find any OSS Note relevant to this situation.
Could you anyone help me.

Further what I see in this Outbound Scenario in EWM is when I am creating Outbound Delivery meant for EWM system with ref. to Sales Order, "Picking" tab shows EWM WHN but also shows Overall WM status as "Transfer Order Required" which is not correct.
If I remove Storage Location and re-enter then Over all WM status and Over all Picking status fields come as blank. But after all EWM processing, SMQ2 queue (FM: BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CONFIRM_DEC) fails with error
Delivery has not yet been put away / picked (completely)
Message no. VL609.
Any thoughts?

1. Prepared the Import P.O.
2. released the same P.O.
3. Doing the MIRO for Custome Vendor
4. Capture the J1iex
than we fins the below mention ERROR & Diagnoses and ERROR

Diagnosis
The document or document item entered cannot be adopted.
Possible reasons for this are:
u2022     The document items have already been processed
(Suggest zero lines indicator set?).
u2022     the document items have been deleted or are blocked.
u2022     the document items have been created for a different plant.
u2022     (for reservations only) movements are not yet allowed for the reservation items.
u2022     (for reservations only) the document items are retrograde components of the order. These are posted using the order confirmations.
u2022     A confirmation must exist for the document items.
u2022     The document items must be released first.
u2022     The document is an R/2 document.
Procedure
Make sure your entries are correct.
u2022     If the system has already processed the total quantity, you can set the Suggest zero lines indicator. The system will suggest the quantity zero for the items that have already been processed.
u2022     If you have entered a particular item, cancel the item. If you do not enter an item, the system searches all of the open items in the document.

When I'm trying to do MB1B for the below parameters, I'm getting the error:

'Batch 'material no' 'plant' 'batch no' does not contain a valuation type. Message no. M7 045
But the batch has a valuation type and the material is assigned a valuation type too.
Can you please giude me to find out why is this behaviour?

HI, I've encounter the same problem. But I used the movement type 323 E.
I input the data as below:
material 2000000564
plant S010
storage location 2001
batch 0903011208,
and got the message M7045 saying that Batch 2000000564 S010 0903011208 does not contain a valuation type, but the batch 0903011208 do have a valuation type in it!
When I use movement type 323, there isnt' any error message returned!
so, I guess there is a bug in the program!

The Fusion Apps.media pack in e-delivery does not contain a vision instance

I'm installing the new Fusion Apps. instance downloaded from e-Delivery.
After installing the transaction database with the rcu step. I've connected to the fusion user with sqlplus and I've noticed that there's no rows in the ap_invoices_all, nor in the hz_cust_accounts, neither in other tables...
So, please, if anyone in Oracle could put some light on this it would be very useful.
I mean I would like to know if and when it's going to be available a vision instance to test or if I've missed some steps in the installation.

'Document does not contain any items' error while posting GR from BAPI

Hello Friends,
I am trying to post GR from BAPI 'BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE' but some time it post successful and some time it does not post..gives error 'Document does not contain any items'....i have search all option but did not get any solution why this error is coming....kindly help me if you have any information regarding that.
The strange thing is i have alrady posted GR with some test data and later on again am trying to post GR with same test data but it is giving error as above.
For your information...i am using enhancement spot in standard program for GR posting...could it give any problem.

Solved by my self...problem was i were using enhancement spot in standard program because of this it was creating problem have search new enhancement spot and put my code out there now it is working fine.

My purchase team wanted to transfer plant from one plant to other.. and so they are creating STO , without any confirmation , while doing GRN 101 movement type Store person is facing error Document does not contain selectable items.
Please help to resolve the same.

1) this should be posted in MM forum, not here
2) let the person go to MIGO , to menu Settings, click Default Values and check checkbox "Propose All Items"
3) I guess if it is STO it would need goods issue first happening in source plant so that GR can happen in receiving plant (so first create Outbound Delivery in source plant, post goods issue against it and then do the GR with 101 against this delivery or PO itself)

Migo cannot be done " PO does not contain any selectable items"

Dear SAP Gurus
We have a very urgent issue, while trying to do MIGO for a particular standard PO.
Some down payments have been done to this PO already and now when we try to do the MIGO, system is giving the error "PO does not contain any selectable items"
The accounting document which is created when the down payment is done can be seen in the purchase order History.
Please suggest soem solution

Please check whether all the po item quantities are received. If any open line items are there then go to item detail po tab in that Select Confirmation Tab and Check whether the confirmation is Z001. Change it to 0001 etc and save.

well i am using a GUI builder software which generates java code, i made a simple one to test and it will not compile.

Upload and Download Errror " File does not contain valid data"

We are on the ECC 6.0 Unicode system.
I dowloaded the Role from QA server and tried to upload into DEV box.
I am getting the Error " File does not contain valid data".
However, when I downloaded the Role, it was done successfully.
Please let me know if anyone has that problem.

PO does not contain selectable item

Dear All,
I have created PO(ME21N) and also released(ME29N) but while doing GR(MIGO) the error comes"PO does not contain selectable item".
Please explain why error is coming where as i have filled all the mandatory data??

While doing the GRN against the PO, if you are getting the error message u201CPO doesnu2019t contain any selectable itemsu201D, following may be reasons:-
1.PO may not be released.
2.The confirmation control tab may be blank, in that case selects the relevant key. If you are preparing the GRN against inbound delivery then select the confirmation control as inbound and prepare inbound delivery using VL31N.
3.If through rough GRN then prepare Rough GRN using VL41 and proceed.
4.If the delivery completion flag under delivery tab is set, then also you will get the same error message. In that case, uncheck the delivery completion flag and proceed.
Still issue persist, revert back.

GR of Process order - Document does not contain selectable items

Hi Guru's,
While doing GR for process order, user is not able to do the GR because of the below message:
Document XXXXXX does not contain selectable items
The other user is able to do the GR. The status of process order is
REL PCNF PRC EXPL EXTS GMPS MANC PDLV. There is overdelivery tolerance so, the delivered quantity is more than ordered qty.
There is no auto GR setting, no COGI errors, no final delivery indicator, no authorisation issue.
What could be the reason for this ?
