Boot into Internet Recovery and erase the hard drive, then reinstall the OS.
That will install the original OS that the Mac shipped with. You can then register it under your AppleID and upgrade to Mavericks.

Error : Depreciation area 00 not created in comp.code

Dear friends,
Need assistsnce how to resolve asset master data problem for "Depreciation area 00 not created in comp.code".
What I intend to do is to do an asset recalculation thru AS02> edit> recalculate values. But the system showed the above error.
How can I resolve this. I have read thru the SAP note 459700, but I dont really understand the solution given.
If anyone have similar experience, appreciate your help. Also for those who know how to resolve this... pls..help.

Here's the cronology.
Actually I detect 1 asset that was created in 2007 and have all the APC, Depr expense & accum until 12/2007.
But coming to fiscal year 2008, this asset was not brought forward to year 2008, hence making the asset report not correct bacuse the asset was not displayed at all.
I did tried to redo the fiscal year change but no impact still same error. Then I tried to do recalculate value just to see if the asset can be corrected thru that function. At this point where the error message appear.
Not sure why the error appearing since in our system we dont have such depr area 00.

Error on reverse on XML: value too large for column

Hi All,
I am trying to reverse engineer while creating the data model on XML technology.
My JDBC URL on data server reads this:
jdbc:snps:xml?d=../demo/abc/CustomerPartyEBO.xsd&s=MYEBO
I get an error while doing the reverse.
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-12899: value too large for column "PINW"."SNP_REV_KEY_COL"."KEY_NAME" (actual: 102, maximum: 100)
After doing some check through selective reverse, found that this is happening only for few tables, whose names are quite longer.
Tried setting the "maximum column name length" and "maximum table name length" to 120 and even higher values on XML technology from Topology Manager. No luck there.

That is not the place to change.
The error states that the SNP_REV_KEY_COL.KEY_NAME in the Work Repository schema PINW has maximum length defined to be 100.
I donot know if Oracle will support this change but you will have to make a change to the Work Repository table SNP_REV_KEY_COL and change the column lengths as a workaround.

CM Repository manager is not appearing for other users

Hi Friends,
I have configured CM repository manager with the user having super admin role.
After configuring it am able to see the KM content folder in the Content Administration->KM Content only with the user from where i have configured it. But if i login with the other non-super users the KM content folder is not appearing.
when i open the permissions of the KM content folder through the details of the context menu am getting as below.
child permissions
read permissions
write permissions
parent permissions etc
where all above are in display mode. So with this i cannt give read or write permission to any other user.
Could anyone please help me out to make it visible to all users.
I have activated all repository services while creating CM repository manager.
Is there any other permissions to be set to make KM folder visible to all users or do i need to any other repository service?

Error opening Multi-Hypervisor Manager - The sever fault 'NoPermission' had no message.

I have installed vCentre Multihypervisior into a test environment running vCenter 5.5. As it is test I have installed the server side components with using the Administrator account for the domain. Service is running on the VC server.
have also installed the client component on the VC server also. When launching the vSphere client and launching the “vCentre Multi-Hypervisor Manager “ Plugin, I get the following error message, which I also attach.
The sever fault 'NoPermission' had no message.
The Administrator appears to have full access to the inventory of vCenter.
Any ideas?

During the installation of MHM, you used an administrative VC user (see screenshot below). This user becomes default Administrator for MHM inventory. Can you please try to login with that user.
VC Permissions and MHM permission are separate.

How to manage different supply parameters for the same item based on demand quantity?

We are using unconstrained ASCP. We have some products that can be produced in a 'small' machine or can be produced in a large tank. If ASCP has created a planned order for a quantity less than 1000 it will be made on the small machine with the supply quantity = demand quantity. For example, we have a demand of 250, we will make exactly 250 on the small machine. But if the demand quantity is greater than 1000 we will make the supply in the tank with a fixed order quantity of 1590. Financially it will cost us less to do this and scrap the difference because the small machine is very expensive to run compared to the tank.
The challenge is, say we need 1200. ASCP generates a planned order for 1200 and all the dependent demands support 1200. Now we want to make 1590 and we are short of materials. This assumes we have set the item with no supply parameters. On the other hand, if we set a fixed order quantity of 1590 but only need 100 then we we have to scrap the materials for the balance due to a short shelf life.
Any ideas how to set a supply quantity using different parameters based on the demand quantity?

I personally don’t see any standard solution for this requirement especially with an unconstrained plan.
However, if it is feasible, you can try below solution with a 'constrained plan with decision rules enabled' and check if it works,
1.   1. Define two different items – Item A and Item B
2.   2. Item A uses small machine in its routing and can have any demand that is below 999. So, Max order quantity = 999.
3.   3. Item B uses Large Tank in its routing and is a substitute of item A. Also, fixed order quantity = 1590.
4.   4. Define component substitution relationship between A and B. A and B will have identical BOM.
In a constrained plan with decision rules enabled, optimization logic will ensure that planned orders are generated for Item A whenever there is demand below 999. And for Item A, supply will always be equal to demand quantity. When the demand is more than 999, optimization engine will select substitute item B and will generated fixed supply of 1590 for it.
Check if this satisfies your requirement.

I am having the following issue. I am trying to replicate material master from ECC 6.0 to CRM 5.0, but I am getting an error to which I am not being able to find the solution:

I tried to find where to edit this attribute in Customizing, and also in tcode COMM_ATTRSET, but I have no idea if this was the right direction.
Has anyone faced this issue before? I would really appreciate any help, since this is preventing me from completing material replication.

I checked the attribute in COMM_ATTRSET, but there aren't any specific values for it. There is a value table T006, which I believe is standard, and it contains UoM GFO.
With this being the case, the error I'm getting makes even less sense to me...
Can you tell me if in there is any other place in CRM where we can set UoM?

No depreciation areas have been defined for asset

Dear consultant,
By mistake from our user had deactivated Depreciation Area in T-code AS92 for Auc asset 1200005 please suggest
How can we activate Deprecation area ?
Because We already settled 350 line item in same asset and still 150 item we have to settle from this asset.
The problem is if I run any T-code related that asset getting error

one more thing i want to tell you that this happend only for one asset not for entire asset class I check in IMG Setting is ok for asset class.

I tried doing this but I got an error:
Depreciation area 01, which you want to create as a new depreciation area in chart of depreciation TTHI, has no depreciation area defined for value takeover. This may be be correct for normal operation, however for the purposes of creating a new depreciation in the productive system, you have to enter a depreciation area whose values are used as base values for the new area.
Do you have another solution for this?
I hope anybody can help me on this issue.

FPGA 2010 Compilation error - TclTasklC:project_028: Unknown property value

Hi, I'm using a cRIO 9075 and a NI 9211 to measure temperature for a project busy with. Everytime I try t compile code I have a compilation error that read as follows:
Compilation failed due to a Xilinx error.
Details:
ERROR: TclTasksC: project_028:Unknown property value "spartan6" specified for "PROP_DevFamily"
Can someone help me on how to resolve this error, I'm using LabVIEW FPGA 2010 and Xilinx 11.5

What version of the NI-RIO driver do you have?

Is this a 64-bit machine? Also, the minimum version of LabVIEW that will work with the 9075 is LabVIEW 2010SP1. You can verify if you have this version by going into Measurement & Austomation Explorer and expanding software. If you do not have LabVIEW 2010SP1, you will need either the platform DVDs for 2010 SP1 or you can download the content from www.NI.com/src.
You will also want to verify that you have the 2010SP1 FPGA module and 2010SP1 RT module.
Also, does this issue occur with all FPGA VIs that you try to compile or only the one that you are currently working on?
You can check by doing two things:
1. Try to compile a blank FPGA VI (i.e. nothing on the block diagram or front panel)
2. Try to compile an FPGA VI from one of the example LabVIEW projects
Please post back if one of these troubleshooting steps resolved your issue or if you're still having problems.

Update trigger fails with value too large for column error on timestamp

I've got a problem with several update triggers. I've several triggers monitoring a set of tables.
Upon each update the updated data is compared with the current values in the table columns.
If different values are detected the update timestamp is set with the current_timestamp. That
way we have a timestamp that reflects real changes in relevant data. I attached an example for
that kind of trigger below. The triggers on each monitored table only differ in the columns that
are compared.

I can't see how the value systimestamp or current_timestamp (I tried both) should be too large for
a column defined as TIMESTAMP(6). We've got tables where more updates occur then elsewhere.
Thats where the most of the errors pop up. Other tables with fewer updates show errors only
sporadicly or even never. I can't see a kind of error pattern. It's like that every 10.000th update
or less failes.
I was desperate enough to try some language dependend transformation like

I Checked the registers , there are 10 register of which 4 for demand.
Here DEMAND14 is used for taking the readings from the registers and then converting it to the normal operand
Below is the part of schema :

The meter reading results ar maintained. also i maintained MET_KVAT2C value at rate category level. in this case the system found the value but then it is not geting value for MAX_KVA2.
I suppose this value should be passed from meter reading.
Also can you pls tell me what is Assign a value to the operand in the conditions in the error.
