"Error determining planning periods for calendar " when running a program

Hi,
When i am running a program with date range say "01/05/2011" to "30/06/2011",the program is executing successfully without any error. When i am executing the same program with date range as a) "01/05/2009" to "30/06/2011" and b)"01/05/2008" to "30/06/2011" the program is failing with error as "Error determining planning periods for calendar". Can anyone suggest me what i should do to avoid the failure of the program with above date ranges also.

Error message 61123:"Error determining planning periods for calendar &".The PPC planning calendar specified in the material master MRP 2 view for the material is incorrectly.
The planning calendar periods are insufficiently maintained for the planning calendar used.
Check the period of planning calendar in MD26 and generate the correct period.You can avoid the problem in several ways:
Maintain the planning calendar far enough in the future (at least until beyond the end of the planning horizon).
Also check any demand is lies beyond the validity period of planning calendar.
Reduction of the planning horizon of MRP also can control such issue, as MRP planning horizon lies in an area in which the planning calendar is no longer maintained

We are receiving the above error when trying to go into MD04 for a particular material. we have checked the forecast agains the planning calendar and the dates in the forecast and demand planning are approximately 2 years less than the end date in the planning calendar.
Checking SAP it has said to extend the planing calendar past the planning horizon. It is already extended past the planning horizon.
The only issue with this product is that the material will soon be superseded by another material, this has a different calendar assigned to it. Could this be the problem?
Any info gratefully received.

The error occurs when first going into MD04. The exact error message is as follows:
Error determining planning periods for calendar M14
Message no. 61123
Diagnosis
The system could not determine sufficient planning periods by the planning calendar to group requirements by planning calendar periods for all the requirements planned in the future.
System Response
When a material is planned by using the periodical lot size by planning calendar, sufficient periods must be calculated to group requirements by the planning calendar for all requirements.
Procedure
Rework the planning calendar with which the material was planned, which means calculate new planning calendar periods.
To do this, go to Customizing for MRP, under the activity Change PPC periods.

Error determining posting period(info structureS008,variant ,RC 3)" addin

Hello,
I am having one issue with my current project.The issue is
Error determining posting period (info structure S008, variant XX, RC 3)" error when trying to add material 10000 on line item 11 onto the existing order.
The actual issue is our user by mistake entered date in Sales Order with Header material in Billing plan tab-->Billing date entered as 31.12.1950 for milestone billing.Now when i am in change mode it is displaying as current date ,but where as in display mode ,it is diaplaying as 31.12.1950.Table also showing the same as display value only.The correspond table is FPLT-AFDAT
Now user wants to add one more lineitem to this header material.It is preventing and throwing error like above.
We are in ECC5.0.
Kindly help me out how we can change the date field to current date ?

Thanks for update.My issue is with Infostructure S008.Related sales order billing plan date,which prevents to delete or further processing .The table FPLY-AFDAT-is having value of 31.12.1950.This needs to corrected to current date This is by mistakenly entered by user.
The note refer different infostructure.
We are ECC5.0.

E613 SYST: You cannot determine the period for rule 03

Dear All,
We are configuring asset module and using MSTL dep key for Tax books. When we tried to create an asset with MSTL dep key, we encountered error - 'E613 SYST: You cannot determine the period for rule 03'. when verified config OAVH Define Calender Assignments transaction, Period control '03' is missing for fiscal year variant K4. Period control is exisiting in Maintain Period Control and but not in Define Calender Assignment. What I understand these period controls are being delivered by SAP. Not sure why period control '03' is missing. all other period control keys are available.
question is how to add period control 03 so that we can use MSTL dep key. we are currently using 4.7c. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Period control 01 has following entry in the transaction
Fiscal Year Variant Per control Name of the period control Year Month Day Period Mid Month
K4 01 Pro rata at period start date blank 0 0 blank not selected
If I follow SAP help to define period control '03', then I just need to copy period control '01' which is listed above and select 'Mid Month' check box.
Wondering anyone did this in the past. MSTL depreciation key is being used in MACRS tax for US. I am sure people who have implemented assets module for US with tax dep, they might have encountered this issue.

Hello,
I am getting this Error message"error determining posting period(infostructure S008,Variant Z2,RC3)" while creating Sales order from Inbound Idocs in the IDOC,which is affecting sales order creation.
While viewing this Info structure S008, I could see no records have been maintained. Wanted to know the reasons behind this Hard error?
Is it something related to Date Field used in the Update Rules for this Infostructure which is causing this posting period error?

Thank you Jelena,I checked the Ship. Delivery dates in the IDOC which are for Current Fiscal Year- 20140703 and 20140711,Could there be any other reason for this error?
Could it be an issue with e Update rule in this Infostructire S008
Secondly when we try change the update rule thru MC25 for this Infostructure S008,It gives a message"
"Maintenance of SAP standard updates not allowed"

Hi Friend,
Check the posting periods for the company code in OB62 and OMSY.
Check whether they are in currenct date or not.
if not maintain them in MMPV for Company code.and OB62 for the fiscal year variant.

Error 45 Initializing In SQL*Plus When Running A Sql Script

Hi All
I have a daily scheduled jobs running on Windows server 2003 and 2008. Oracle Version :10.2.0.1 and 10.2.0.4
right now jobs are not even starting when i run them manually. Found the error Error 45 Initializing In SQL*Plus When Running A Sql Script.
it says Bug:3039738.
what is the solution to fix this Bug ?

BW error: "invalid call sequence for interface when recording changes"

I am getting the error "invalid call sequence for interface when recording changes" when I try to activate a datasource in BW. Any ideas on how to resolve this error?

I already tried that. This is what's happening.. When I get this error, if I try again it will activate and gets collected into a transport. I moved this transport to our QA system. As soon as I try to execute an infopackage under this datasource in QA, I get the error datasource xxxxx must be activated. Before the excecution of the infopackage, the datasource is in "Active version executable". After I get the error message "datasource must be activated", the datasource in the QA system changes to "Active version not executable". I am not sure all these issues are related back to the "invalid call sequence" error I am getting when I try to activate the data source.
I also tried recollecting the transport from our Dev system to QA and it still gives the above errors.
Any help?

How to capture error messages for BCP when running through XP_CMDSHELL

XP_cmdshell returns 0 as success when running BCP that causes insertion failure for any records (failure because of truncation, data type mismatch etc.)
One way is to capture output message in temp table and can parse the messages. but I am looking for some direct methods.

Replication Error: Determination of values for application was interrupted

Hello,
We are setting up a CRM 5.0 system, with an ECC 5 backend. We try to replicate the condition customizing (object DNL_CUST_CND). When I look in the object monitor the object gets status green after running. But in SLG1, the log shows over 200 warnings and 3 critical errors with message:
Determination of values for application was interrupted
Message no. CND_MAP837
There is not more information available and I can't find anything relating to this message here or in OSS. Does anyone have a clue what the cause of this error could be?

You may find the warning message bcos all the R/3 fields may not be available in
CRM system. thus those condtion tables may not be mapped and inactive status.Check whether the condtion tables used in ur scenario is available in active status in CRM.
Regarding the data exchange of condtion the follwing oss notes will be helpful:
1. 314542.
2. 441485 this note containst the message relevant to you (CND_MAP837) .
Please check the above notes and try to analyse ur issue.

Error when running a program /RPM/FIN_PLAN_INT

when executing the program "/RPM/FIN_PLAN_INT", I'm getting an error stating as "Category ID does not exist for item.Instantiate categories first"
This error is hitting for only 4 Items in list of all 173 Item. Hence the Financial cost are not getting update for all the items when executing the program. The DB update failed.
I checked the financial Category IDs and its maintained properly and working fine with other Items. Why this is happening for only the 4 items? Am I missing something in config?
Please experts provide me some valuable suggesions.

When you define and edit the mapping between the project management role function ID and the financial planning view, category, or group. You can also decide on whether the cost or revenue rate is to be considered for the financial information calculation.
1. Execute report /RPM/PLAN_INT_PREP to create financial and capacity categories and groups for the bucket or the portfolio items based on the parameters mentioned in the selection screen.
2. Execute report /RPM/FIN_PLAN_INT to perform the financial planning for a portfolio item for the different portfolio items based on the parameters mentioned in the selection screen.
Prerequisite: For the portfolio item, you must have executed report /RPM/PLAN_INT_PREP before.
3. Execute report /RPM/BUCKET_ROLLUP to roll up the financial data for the different categories and groups of the portfolio items to its higher-level buckets.

Windows 7 is Error reporting when running a program generated with in Labview LV 7.1!

Dear Labviewer's
Once back in the yaers I'd generated a program with - Labview 7.1.
Now I'm informed that the version LV 7.1 is not supported by Windows 7.
Now when i try to run the Program generated by Labview 7.1. in windows 7 , I get communication error by the serial port.
Is there somehow somthing I can do to get this work. Is there any Runtime engines From NI for Windows 7.?
Please Feed back if anyone got info for help.

Have you installed a newer version of the NI-VISA runtime engine that will work with Windows 7?
The most recent on the NI website appears to be version 5.0.3.

Error "No extraction structure for event I3" running set up 2LIS_17_I3HDR

Hi, Experts:
I am trying to activate and run set up datasource for PM 2LIS_17_I3HDR, so that data can be extracted from R/3 into BW 3.5 system.
In R/3 environment, we have 2 clients. client 200 for configurations but has no data, and client 230 has data but can not change configurations.
I have done the following in client 200:
- Activated datasources for for PM 2LIS_17_I3HDR in RSA5.
- Made selection in RSA6.
- Activated extract structures and datasource for application 17 in LBWE and also ran job control. Now I can see the extract structures for application 17 are active in client 200 only, but inactive in client 230. I tried to turn then active in client 230 but got error "Client 230 has status not modifiable".
- I assume I should run set up tables in client 230 because it is the client with data in tables? But when run set up in OLIIBW, I got the error "
   No extraction structure for event I3: Messages active
   Message no. MCEX106
   Diagnosis
   You called the setup for the extractor structures of application '17' (Plant Maintenance). However no extractor structure is active for event I3 (messgaes).
   System Response
   Data for event I3 is not transferred to the BW interface.
   Procedure
   First activate the desired extractor structures for application '17' using the Customizing Cockpit and then start the setup again."
- I can not manually activate extract structures in client 230 because it is not modifiable. I tried moving transports, the path is not set up. I see extract structures for other applications like 11, 13 are active. So I guess there may be other ways to activate the extract structures in client 230.
- I also tried to run set up in client 200, which has extract structures for 17 in active status. But got the same error as client 230.
Would anyone please help me with what to do to fix this?

Just update for what we did to solve this. Both clients are for development. Client 200 is only for configuration but no data. Client 230 has data but not modifiable. Usually, when we create a structure, table, program, or active anything in 200. We will see it in 230 right away without transports. But this is not the case for activating extract structure for datasource from Business Content. We end up having Basis guy manually activate the structure for us directly in client 230 with transaction LBWE. That worked.
