Error displaying archivlink document: HTML-Control DP_ERROR_GENERAL

Hi all,
i am getting an error when displaying an archivlink document with the FB "ARCHIVOBJECT_DISPLAY". The FM "ARCHIVOBJECT_STATUS" shows that the document is online.
What are other options to display this document in SAP? OA_FIND is not customized here.
What is the cause of this error?

Dear All,
We have recently upgraded our Support Packages of SAP_BASIS from SAPKB70014 to SAPKB70019.
We are facing some issues related to Archive Link in Thin client.
I am able to attach TIFF/PDF documents using Store Business Documents successfully but when I try to view the document by double clicking on Attachment List, I am not able to view it in SAP WEBGUI
The Viewer is opened but no document is loaded.
We have also implemented SAP note 1556590 and rechecked the issue by double clicking the document but all in vain.
Can anyone tell me whats the issue? And Whats needs to be done to correct the issue?

Display PDF Dokument in HTML control with Adobe Reader X - hide toolbar

I am reading a document from a content repository via Archive Link Interface. I get the content by the function module SCMS_HTTP_GET. Afterwards the content will be displayed in a html control in the method SHOW_URL in class
CL_GUI_HTML_VIEWER by calling the url SAPR3://SAPR3CMS/get/012/XX/0050568700A51EE0BDC6F305DFEDDF57/ with the following code.

The SAP url SAPR3://SAPR3CMS/get/012/XX/0050568700A51EE0BDC6F305DFEDDF57/&#toolbar=0 is not working. Can anybody give me a hint how to get the toolbar hidden?

I don't believe you answered the question. I have the same problem in that when I upgraded to Reader X my Toolbar disappeared and you responded to my post with a fix. Last week I installed updates to both Acrobat 8 and Reader X and in the process lost my toolbar and the floating toolbar. After "repairing" both Reader and Acrobat numerous times I find that at least the floating toolbar is back and F8 will of course deliver the traditional fixed, top of the page toolbar, but only for that specific open document. When I open a new document (from the web) I must F8 to get my traditional toolbar back. Below are the settings I am using to achieve this (I have tried every combination to try and make this work). Any help to get my toolbar back is very much appreciated.

Error Displaying Portlet Preview created from Content Server templates

I created portlet from content server announcement portlet template.Whet put on the page this portlet shows the following error message:

Same error with portlet created from the news template.

If the link exists in TOA01, why is the dosumnet not visible ? When i use the Function Module ARCHIVOBJECT_DISPLAY, i get the error -

Error while opening document in FB03

Hi,
I have used archive link for attaching documents. I have attached a pdf file by using the transaction OAAD to an accounting document. In FB03 it is showing the the document name by following the path
Environment>>Additional assignments>> object links.
But while trying to open the file I am getting the below message.

DP_ERROR_GENERAL
Any help regarding this will be appreciated.

Error when opening document with ECL control: INVALID_DATA

Hi Gurus,
I've tried to search the net for this problem but could not find anything and I'm stuck now.
Description:
we're using ECL to view attached documents (to POs etc.) which are stored through ArchiveLink on the content repository.
when we try to open this document, time-to-time we get following error:
Error when opening document with ECL control: INVALID_DATA
Message no. SDV004
by time-to-time I mean that when we try to open same attachment again it opens successfully (sometimes we need to re-open it 3-4 times to get it)
what we've tried is to enlarge timeout for HTTP protocol (tx SMICM, from former 30 to actual 60) but only effect we got is that we're waiting for the error longer time
It will be really great if anybody of you guys can give me an advice where the problem can be or where should I look and what to check

thanks for tip, unfortunately this was already flagged, currently settings are:
for Display Settings:
yes - include ECL control
use HTML control
empty - maximum viewer wait time
(do you think that setting some value for this could help)
yes - deactivate generic object services in viewer
no - doc display as dialog box
yes - deactivate data provider cache
Storage Settings:
yes - always copy document class from document type
yes - permit multiple assignment

How can I display Excel document saved as html in ebDynpro Office Contol?

I have a problem with displaying of Excel document saved as html inside WebDynpro Office Control.
Could you explain why OfficeControl cannot display Excel document with content type =text/htm?
How you know, control must be bound to binary data. And then mime type is set as
bin.setMimeType(new WebResourceType("html", "text/html", false));
The empty document is displayed always.
Nevertheless, excel file is displayed perfect, when
bin.setMimeType(new WebResourceType("xls ", "application/msexcel", false));

The OfficeControl UI element is made available as an ActiveX control, so that the UI element can be displayed in browsers that support ActiveX controls.
The ActiveX control enables display of the following documents:
1.Microsoft Word documents with the doc file extension
2.Microsoft Excel documents with the xls file extension
This is the reason why document with other content types are not displayed.
Data source must be bound to binary data because files are read as bytes in this scenario.

Viewing documents stored using archivelink in firefox / custom html control

I've have set display settings to call internet browser in transaction OAG4 of archivelink.When any document is opened,it is shown in the internet explorer(default browser).I wish to view the document in firefox or any other browser .Also is it possible to view the document in custom html control programmed in abap.Could give any suggestions.

I think I figured it out.
The slashes in the image paths went the wrong direction. \ in stead of /
Apparently, this is no problem for IE, but chokes Firefox. Keep an eye out.

HT4689 With mission control in Mountain Lion, is there a setting that displays a document name when it is selected?

For example, if I have 4 word documents open, and go to mission control so they are all displayed, can I turn a feature on that displays the document name when my mouse is over each document?
Like in the picture, if I have my mouse over a document, the name of the document isn't displayed. Can I change this?

I just got a new mac and was trying to figure out the same thing today!! I went from an older version to this 10.9. I called apple support, the tech had no idea what I was talking about. I was transferred to a manager who told me that it is not feature available on the new models. After a 40 minute conversation I was about to let it go and then I saw this post and became determined LOL ... and I figured it out (SMH apple support). So here is how you do you it:
system preferences > trackpad > you want to make sure the "App Expose" is checked off > and you're done!!
I am not able to upload a 2 photos so I will post a second screenshot of what it looks like once the preferences are set.

I developed a portal application in that i am displaying word document using IFrames, from my application i am uploading word document and saving those document in KM
Requirement is that i need to provide an option to show this word document in html.

Well while running a transaction PBWW when we click on create button it opens the word document with the
text in it but suddenly the text is gone and it is showing a error which is INTERNAL ERROR IN SAP OLE DOCUMENT CONTAINER CONTROL.

Internal error in SAP OLE document container control

While opening WW-Invitation in so10 with standard text - WW-INVITATION where Text ID - Palt the doc is not opening and the following error as coming :

Can any body suggest the solution on this.....

I checked in the scn they are saying about some note but those note are not applicable in my system

ECC5.0, SAP GUI 7.1 Comp 3 (win).
Whenever I try to open any Document (Transaction PBWW) I get the same error: Word 2007 opens and as soon as the document itself is loaded, it vanishes. All that is left, is the GUI showing the "Internal Error in SAP OLE Document Container Control" (SOFFICEINTEGRATION019).
What's wrong with that. GUI 6.4 and 7.1 Comp. 2 did their job...
Even GUI 7.1 Comp. 3 and Word 2003 do as they're supposed to and open the documents nicely.
What I've found out is that the Word template R3_TP97_D.dot which is created in the temporary folder in Windows needs to be deleted before using PBWW. Once the file is gone, opening any document via PBWW succeeds. SAP Note 558548 does not resolve the issue.
