I cannot see your error message, would you please post back the text of this error?
Generally to check the DLL issue, we can manually to replace the corrupted one if it is a system file or run SFC /scannow command to scan system.

I need to Uninstall Apple Software Update. I am getting error. "There is a problem with this Windows Installed package.

My itunes stopped working. I uninstalled/reinstalled. But it would not complete reinstall. Started with Quicktime not loading. I have tried to install Quicktime individually. Still nothing. I now am trying to uninstall ALL itunes/Apple to attempt reinstall. But the Apple Software Update will not remove. I get the error :THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THIS WINDOWS INSTALLER PACKAGE. A PROGRAM REQUIRED FOR THIS INSTALL TO COMPLETE COULD NOT BE RUN. CONTACT YOUR SUPPORT PERSONNEL OR PACKAGE VENDOR.

ITunes 10.2.2 won't install - Error message about Windows Installer package

I ran a prompted update on iTunes for 10.2.2 for Windows Vista, and it completely wrecked itself. iTunes would no longer open, and it said that the shortcuts no longer existed.
I have tried uninstalling iTunes and all traces of it, and re-installing it, but keep getting an error msg that says "Problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required could not be run." I even tried a previous version of iTunes (10.1) and got the same error.
Can anyone help with this?

After updating my windows 7 and fixing all the "corrupt" files, what seems to finally work for me was this
Go to add or remove programs in the control panel, on Windows 7, just go to start, control panel, and then uninstall a program. Find Apple Software Update on the list, and click on repair. Once that is done, try to download iTunes again and it should work.

When trying to download Boot Camp Windows Support Software, error says: "Can't install the software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server."

I use a Macbook Pro 13" mid 2010 on Mavericks and I've tried using the Boot Camp assistant to download support software for Windows 7. This gives the error "Can't install the software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server."
Further, I tried to separately download Boot Camp 4 and 5. When I do this and try to install from Windows 7, it says that this version of Boot Camp is not for this computer and doesn't install. The result is that I have Windows 7 working and installed, but am unable to use the trackpad to rightclick, brightness settings, etc.

You need to run Bootcamp Assistant and select only the menu item to download the Windows Support Software. Follow the instructions. The download servers are extremely slow therefore it may take several hours to get the download.

Missing NISessionServer.dll when creating Install Package

When trying to create an install package from my VB project with Microsoft Visual Studio, it tells me I'm missing "NISessionServer.dll". I searched my entire computer and it is nowhere to be found. Also, if I ignore this and make a package anyway...the program will not work after installing because it is missing this dll. What is this dll and where do I find it?

There is some documentation about NISessionServer.dll and creating installers in the "Distributing Programs Developed with Measurement Studio for Visual Basic" topic in the Measurement Studio reference. You can find this topic by looking under Visual Basic Help->Tutorials->Distributing and Installing Measurement Studio Applications in the Measurement Studio Reference table of contents. Specifically, this topic says:
"If you are distributing the IVI controls and you have TestStand installed on your development machine, you should include nisessionserver.dll. This file is located in the Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\SessionManager directory. If you do not have TestStand installed, ignore the prompt to include nisessionserver.dll."
I think t
hat the IVI controls are supposed to still work if the session manager is not installed on the machine. Does the application run correctly on your machine even though you don't have NISessionServer.dll on your machine?

Error 6 even after installing the software from Knowledge Base

I am sure this has been on here before but I cannot find it.
I am building a wedding video, one main menu, two sub menus with 7 chapters each.
Check project reveals all set to go.
tried to use the software recommended in the knowledge base but my system already has the latest version installed.
SItuation-
Burning Mpeg 2 BluRay Max quality
All assets include two timelines (Trancscoded at Max quality), 3 menus, one sound track for menu.
Using Dell 690 Workstation
Duel Xeon Quadcore 5455's
Loaded 16 gigs of Ram but using three since XP32 SP3
Sony Blu-ray burner (other burner disabled)
7TB's of Hard drive attached to system. 5 on board Drives and 4TB through Esata. System drive 10000RPM WD Rap.
have Avid Media composer on this System too (If those drivers could be of issue and Sonic Scenarist (This project does not need that power)).
Also Several conversion apps Sorrenson, TMPGEnc, Procoder, AVS Video converter. (Driver issues interfering?).
Never produced a wedding video as my line is Football but did a 5 camera HD shoot (also shot some Super 8 footage upconverted to HD) for nephew as a wedding present. Sending him a Blu-
Ray Samsung player with the video this week if I can get it on the Disc.
Could start over with Sonic DVDit HD or Scenarist but spent last night building this encore job.

I actually spoke to an employee at Park Av (Adobe headquarters) in San Jose this morning through a friend in the industry who added her on (There is someone there all the time he said).
The simple fix according to her is just the cause that was in your link, it comes from transferring assets in and out. I had done that and the replacement cued up the error 6. There are other error 6's generated but that was the first question she asked.
Anyway I really appreciate the response.
Actually writing the disc now with just a few gigs to go on the Test Copy.

Install error on XP laptop installing C410 software

Bought a new HP C410 for home. Have 4 laptops (3 Win 7 and one XPPro) and 2 Desktops, both XP Home. Almost new D-Link DIR-628 router running WPA shared. Every install of HP software and connection to printer through wireless went flawlessly, except for the XP laptop. First had to correct permissions in a registry key, then the install started hanging . Install gets to the point of asking what method I would like to connect to the printer and I select "Wireless" as I did all the other installs, then I get a window that says I cannot connect to the printer. The HP NDU detects the both the printer and the router just fine but can't connect. I can ping the IP address of the printer fine also. If I try to manually enter the IP address of the printer the install just keeps looping around to the manual IP entry window. Running AVG antivirus 2011, with firewall; but disabling the firewall makes no difference. Wireless connectivity between laptop and router is excellent.
I'll admit to a certain lack of knowledge about wireless protocols, but have a feeling that this issue has something to either the type of wireless adaptor in the laptop or a setting on the router, which works fine with the newer Win7 laptops.
I found an answer to the Registry permission issue on this forum and hope somebody can direct me to the cause and correction. This isn't a mission critical laptop, but it's one that gets used a lot and would be nice to print from.

OK, that all sounds good, leave it the way it is.
Here are a couple of more ideas:
1. Update the firmware for your router.
2. This is a bit risky, you may want to disconnect your router from the Internet first. Disable or uninstall AVG and try again.

Error after trying to install device software

Hey i uploaded the v4.5 system pack 2 onto my computer and that works fine. Then i tried installing the v4.5 device software half way thru it said connection was lost so i unpluged the usb. Now when i try turn on my phone it says uncaught exception java.lang.NullPointerException.
Im no computer whiz and this is my first blackberry and i have tried to follow instructions on the net but there in a language i dont follow ...

You may have toasted the OS on your BB. Try this first:
With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
If that fixes the error, then you can retry the device OK update.
However, it the error continues, you may have to wipe out and reload your device OS with this procedure

There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package. No apple software installed to try uninstall/repair.

Trying to install latest version of 64bit Itunes. I'm getting the error message "There is a problem with this Windows install package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor". All the solutions require an uninistall of all apple software, which i have done, with no success. Apple software update is not in programs and features to uninstall. I've also tried install just safari, and I get the same error.
I've run cCleaner to fix any registery issues which hasn't worked either.
Any help appreciated.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) (not for XP) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.

Instead of downloading the Windows support software from Boot Camp Assistant, download it from the Apple website. Mid 2009 and older MacBooks Pro only support this Windows support software version > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1630 This version allows you to install a 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7 version.

I downloaded the software so How do I install it?
Do I install it all over again or when I have windows open?

Back up your system drive completely. If you have no backup plan in place, now would be a good time to start. You can use CarbonCopyCloner to make a complete, bootable backup of your system on another drive or volume. After you have done this: download the combo update using the link supplied by Niel and run the installer.
