  • Error Handling for Outbound IDOC - COSMAS (Cost Center Master)

    Hi,
I need to trigger a mail to SAP inbox whenever a outbound idoc fails for any reason.
I know how to do it for inbound or outbound transaction data, but not sure how to do error handling for outbound master data.
Could one of you help me understand the same.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Vinoth

    Hey Vinoth,
Do you want decide the recipient of the mail dynamically? am asking because if you give the USER NAME in the partner profile and when ever a IDOC fails a mail will automatically reach the user inbox automatically
let me know if i answered ur question.
    Thanks,

  • Estreamer generates error messages for "Failed to deserialize RUA Event"

Estreamer service on 3D System generates the following error messages for user activity data:
EventStreamer child(qradar.as.local):ConnectionHandler [ERROR] Failed to deserialize RUA Event 1004:1

This is a known issue. This issue is fixed on software version 5.2.0.3. Upgrading your 3D System to latest software version will fix this issue.
Note:  Once the 5.2.0.3 patch is installed, you may still receive the RUA Deserialize error if the Defense Center contains older unified files prior to the 5.2.0.3 patch.  Contact Technical Support for assistance in removing the older unified files.

  • Pop up error messages for failed custom validation

    I am using jdev-10.1.3.4
My application is in ADF BC
I am writing custom validation through managed bean, I want pop-up error message for this failed validation.
    My problem scenario is:
I had some list box as "status"-when this status changes to failed then the other field namely "closed date" should become madantory and also date in closed date field can't be in future.I am able to have all this validation through managed bean and also able to use af:messages through which i am able to print error message on the top of the form, but i am not able to give pop up error message for this failed validation.
I had gone thru jdev guide but there is nothing like what i am asking.
it would be of great help if someone can give me some example also.
    thanks in advance.

ADF has global setting where you can configure the way messages are shown to user:
You can make this setting in adf-faces-config.xml
The <client-validation> element controls how client-side converters and validators are run.
    Three values are supported:
"INLINE": validation is shown inline in a page (the default)
"ALERT": validation is shown in an Javascript alert
"DISABLED": validation is only handled on the server
IN your case, set it to 'ALERT'.

    Varalakshmi,
In your partner profile we20 , you can set the agent who should receive the failure.
Please check the tab post processing permitted agent.
The agents should be maintained in the transaction PPOME.

  • Error handling for outbound idoc

could you tell how to handle an outboun idoc error

    Hi Jaya Krishna,
The Outbound erroe occurs because of so many reasons. It may be due to less repetations of data in segment , or if reciever is not available . U can process the IDOC-Outboubnd with help of following TCODES
    1. TO check status - we02
    2. To get list of process codes for Inbnd and Outbnd IDOCs - we64
    3. TO check IDOC is sent to receiver or not- sm58
    4. To trace IDOC - bdm2
5.To check status of tRFC executiojn- bd75

  • Suggestions for Routing Failed IDOCS

We are developing an order processing system that receives an order message from a trading partner and creates and ORDERS05 IDOC.  When we hand the IDOC to the SAP business system it might go right into the system as a valid order or might fail for any number of business reasons.  (out of stock, contract expired, etc)
In the case that an order can not be processed, we will need to send a negative acknowledgment to the trading partner.
What's the best way to generate that negative acknowledgment?
Two ideas have been floated in our team:
    (1) Write a program to poll for failed IDOC's and send a message.
    (2) Can we find a way to use ALE to reroute an in failed state (say status 51) to XI where I can generate a negative acknowledgment?
Your suggestions and experiences are welcome!

That's a very good document - I've used it before.
I imported the schema for the ALEAUD message into our scenario to see if it might fit our needs.  However, ALEAUD is only a "technical acknowledgment" and won't be able to tell WHY a message failed.
I need to get a copy of the bad IDOC.  It has the fields that I need to construct an intelligent application-acknowledgment.  (Buyer, seller, line item, product description, error message, etc)
It feels like we need some kind of workflow to route a bad idoc to another system for additional processing.

  • Error logging for data rules in owb11gr2

    Hi all,
I was playing around with error logging for data rules and I realized that when an error gets logged into the error table for failing a particualar data rule for a table, some of the columns in the error table such as ORA_ERR_NUMBER$, ORA_ERR_MESG$, ORR_ERR_OPTYP$ were not filled in. Why is this so? Is there anyway to populate these fields as well when a row gets populated in? This is because the optype field may be useful to identify the operation type of the erronous row.
ALso, does anyone know whether the error table for dimensions work correctly? I replicate the portion of the mapping flow that goes to my dimension and even though the errornous row gets logged into the error table, the ERR$$$_OPERATOR_NAME for that row did not show the dimension object but instead show another of my table operator in the mapping. Pretty bewildered as to why this is the case.

The cube operator in 11gR2 also supports DML error logging (as well as orphan management handling). This is enabled by setting the property 'DML Error table name' (in group Error table) on the Cube operator inside the mapping. The error table specified will be created when the mapping is deployed (if you specify an existing one the error is trapped).
The DML error handling will catch physical errors on the load of the fact.
    Cheers
    David

  • 3.2 to 4.1 Upgrade - Error Handling for Unavailable Database Links

    Hi,
I'm having a 3.2 -> 4.1 upgrade issue related to error handling for failed database links.
I have a conditional Exists button on a page that has a SQL query to linked tables. However, for the 10 minutes every day where the target of the database link is getting a cold backup, the query fails. In the old 3.2 apex I simply got an error inside the region where the button is located but otherwise the page was still visible:
"Invalid exists/not exists condition: ORA-02068: following severe error from MYDBLINK ORA-01034: ORACLE not available ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist"
However, in apex 4.1.0.00.32 I get the following unhandled error, and clicking "OK" takes me to the edit page when logged in as developer.
i.e., the page can't be run at all while the database links are failing in this one region.
    Error Error processing condition.
ORA-12518: TNS:listener could not hand off client connection
Technical Info (only visible for developers):
    is_internal_error: true
    apex_error_code: APEX.CONDITION.UNHANDLED_ERROR
    ora_sqlcode: -12518
ora_sqlerrm: ORA-12518: TNS:listener could not hand off client connection

    ORA-06512: at "APEX_040100.WWV_FLOW_DYNAMIC_EXEC", line 687
    ORA-06512: at "APEX_040100.WWV_FLOW_CONDITIONS", line 272
    General users see this:
    Error Error processing condition.
ORA-01034: ORACLE not available ORA-02063: preceding line from MYDBLINK
clicking "OK" takes user to another page, not sure how apex decides which, but not a concern at the moment.
I've done a search and read the page http://www.inside-oracle-apex.com/apex-4-1-error-handling-improvements-part-1/ but the new apex error handling isn't clear to me, and I don't know if the apex_error_handling_example provided on that page would be applicable to this situation.

    Thanks Patrick.

ORA-06512: at "APEX_040100.WWV_FLOW_CONDITIONS", line 148However, I created a view with the same query:
CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW v_localview (ALERT_1)
    AS
    SELECT 1
FROM myview@MYDBLINK ...then change the condition to look at the local view:
    begin
        for l_check in (
          select alert_1 from v_localview ) loop
            return true;
        end loop;
        return false;
    exception when others then
        sys.htp.p('Invalid exists/not exists condition: ' || sys.htf.escape_sc(sqlerrm));
        return false;
end;As a view is simply a query I'm surprised this should make any difference but it now looks similar to the 3.2 error, inside the region, when the linked database gets its morning cold backup, and this is fine:
Invalid exists/not exists condition: ORA-12518: TNS:listener could not hand off client connection

I venture to say you have a Windows PC.
If so, before beginning the download try temporarily disabling your antivirus, anti-adware, anti-spyware, and any other anti-whatever that is required with the insecure OS your computer is running.

    Hi,
This 3rd time I followed this link. But nothing new, same error.
Can you please tell me how to do follow, I cannt do the 1st step, how to change the local system to windows level account, vice-versa. It is shown mine as
    Server Configuration Manager(Local)
From here I folllowed the steps ---[I cannt insert link/image :-(]
SQL 2008/R2 setup fails with "Wait on the database engine recovery handle failed"
If I right clicked on SQL Server Service, there is no option to change the account.
    Hello,
Thanks for your patience, did you tried stesp mentioned in below article
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sqljourney/archive/2012/03/16/sql-2008-r2-setup-fails-with-quot-wait-on-the-database-engine-recovery-handle-failed-quot.aspx
To resolve it, follow these steps:-
When the installation throws this error, click on OK and allow it to proceed. It will fail for Database Engine, but the SQL Server service should have
been created. Check the Services console.
If the service is present, perform the following steps:-
    1. Go to SQL Server Configuration manager, right click on the SQL Server service, and change the service account (if it is local system, give
it a windows level account, and vice-versa). It might throw a WMI error but you will see the account getting updated anyway. If not, then use the Services console. Change the account for SQL Agent as well.
Use this link to change sql server service account
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms345578.aspx
    2. Next, try to start the service. It should come online.
    3. However, you will not be able to log in to the SQL Server
    4. Now stop the service and start it from the command prompt using -m -c -T3608 parameters.
    5. Now try logging in to the server using admin connection from sqlcmd (sqlcmd admin:<server name>\<instance name> ...)
    6. Once logged in, use the sp_addsrvrolemember '<domain\username>','sysadmin'.
Also add the builtin/administrators to the sysadmin role
    7. Now stop the service from the command prompt and start it from SQL Server configuration manager
You should be able to log in to the server now.
    Hope this helps someone.
