hi, i need your help... i tried download the lightroom, but i cant because said "Can not connect to servers Adobe. Check the firewall settings and try again in a few minutes" I check de firewall and dont start. Can you help me? I'm from Argentinian.... Thanks a lot!

Error downloading Lightroom from Application Manager: error DW006

Other apps download fine from the manager. This one keeps failing.

if you're a mac user you need os 10.7 or better.

Error when downloading Lightroom.

After having successfully downloaded and installed Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks and Photoshop, I tried to download Lightroom. The dowload process halted, and I aborted it. When i tried to download and install the program for a second time, the process stopped, and I received the following error message :

you should dl lr 5.7 and then check that your download is complete. if the same error message results when you try to install, start here - Error 1603: A fatal error occurred during installation

It sounds like you bought an upgrade from Adobe. How much did you pay? The upgrade is about $80, and the non-upgrade is about $150. If you bought an upgrade version and had no previous version, you would see what you're seeing.
If that is the case and I were you, I'd call Adobe, and arrange for a refund and to order the correct version.

"Server Busy" Error in Lightroom 4.1. 4.4 won't download/open properly

When I try to import new photos I get a "server busy" error in Lightroom 4.1. I have to click cancel/reset/cancel/reset for about a minute to get just one photo to import. Completely unacceptable if trying to import multiple photos. I downloaded 4.4 most recently in hopes of fixing this buy, but although it downloads, once downloading Lightroom, hoping when I re-installed it would automatically accept updates, but that didn't work. I still get server busy error. My Lightroom is completely useless right now. I'm working off a Windows system.

OMG... I'm such a nit-wit!! I switched the setting in my camera to try something and forgot to swith it back!
I've been digging through this for more that an hour and never bothered to check the file setting.

Error when downloading Lightroom 5

I'm on a laptop using windows. I am trying to download Lightroom 5.0 which I just purchased an keep getting an error note saying "An problem occurred while extracting the archive. Please try downloading the Photoshop Lightroom 5.0 Installer again." I have tried download it multiple times to reinstall and I keep getting the same error statement.

i meant that as a self-criticism because i've often felt the same and the problem is almost always me. (and i'm almost positive i've done more stupid things than you.)
anyway, download the lr 5 (or really you should dl lr 5.6) from the link below. if you continue to see extraction errors, use a different browser and/or different (wired) connection and/or a download manager.

There are two different LR’s, one with a serial-number licensing and one with a CC-signin license.
You should uninstall the serial-number LR you have installed, then
Quit the CC Desktop application,
Restart the CC Desktop application—this will rescan what you have installed and not see LR,
LR will now be on the CC Desktiop apps list, so install that.

Can't download lightroom 5 on OS X 10.9.4

I've been trying to download Lightroom 5 but can't click the download button in Chrome. Also tried Safari and Firefox but they both give an error saying can't open the specified address. It's not my software version either. Getting pretty desperate after 2 hours of Google :-). Can you please help me?

In Safari I get this error message: Safari can't open "aam://SAP...[link of the download]" because OS X doesn't recognize internet address starting with "aam:". I thought it was a browser issue (I can't click the download button in Chrome) so downloaded FireFox but it also gives me an error message saying: Firefox doesn't know how to open this address because one of the following protocols (aam) isn't connected to any program or allowed in this context.
I don't have Creative Cloud Membership, I received a CD with Photoshop Lightroom 5 with my new camera from Samsung. Because my MacBook Air doesn't have a DVD drive I figured I should download it. Couldn't find Lightroom 5 in the Appstore so I figured I should download a trial version and simply add the key from the DVD. Unfortunately I can't even download the trial version due to these error messages.

You don't need a license or a serial number to download Lightroom, which is the problem you state you are having. What is the license you purchased, anyway? Can you give us details?

I am not able to download lightroom 4 from the disc I purchased onto my Mac

For some reason I am not able to download lightroom from the disc I purchased onto my Mac. When I put the disc into my computer nothing happens. I have followed all of the instructions and still can't figure out why nothing is happening.

I received an error code and nothing actually downloads. I tried to use the disc again last night because I didn't not want to attempt to download the program off the Internet if I don't have to incase it was a waist of time again. I put the cd in.. Read the read me and nothing it said helped me. I then clicked the top of the computer on the adobe icon it updated stuff a few things and that's all it would do! Nothing ever appeared for me to type in my cereal number.
