Error during creating Transformation /DTP

Hi Gurus
We have two key figures with Fixed Unit of Measure and data type Quant . The unit is % .
We could create the Data Source successfully and when we create the Transformation , though I could see on the face of it the mapping for these key figures, it says No source unit is assigned and also no info Object is assigned for these fields.
How do we normally handle scenarios with fixed unit of measure key figures during transformation.'

Assuming you are using NW04s, in your transformation, there is a section called "Unit", it would have shown your fixed target unit and the next line would have "Unit" and dropdown box, contains two options, "From Conversion" and "No conversion". If you select "No Conversion" in the "Unit" dropdown box, your error message should be gone, as your key figure quant has fixed unit, so no conversion is required which should do no harm during data transformation when loading. Please give it a go.

While creating the transformation mention -
In source of transformation -> Select object type as DataStore Object and Name as DSO1. (Tech.name of DS01)
No, it is not an Authorization issue.

ERRORS during activating transformations

HI guys
i am trying to upload data from a flatfile(csv format) with fields CID,CSALES,CPROFIT into IC(BI 7.0).I am able to see data in PSA(DS).then i tried to create transformations.....between DS and IC.....BETWEEN fields CID,CSALES,CPROFIT.....on both sides.....at the time of activating tranfrms....im gettings errors...like
Rule 2 (target: CSALES): Source parameter 0002 is not being used
Rule 2 (target: CSALES): Target parameter 0005 is not being used
Rule (target: CSALES, group: Standard Group): Conversion type missing
Rule 2 (target field: CSALES): Field CSALES must be assigned to an InfoObject
like this for CPROFIT also....
I tried to resolve it....but couldnt...Do you have any idea how to do it?

i'm expecting that there may be some errors in ur data.....So better to check the data in ERROR STACK....after correcting that errors ....save that...come to your DTP there u can CREATE ERROR DTP & EXCUTE that error DTP......

Error during creating a new class diagram

Hi everbody,
I'm using JDeveloper 10.1.3.3.0 with ADF Faces and Toplink. I'm exposing to an error message in JDeveloper while creating a new class diagram. The error message is shown in dialog and saying "The name of the element can not be set to 'package name' as another element has got the same name in the package". I have controlled the name of the new class diagram. The name is unique in the package. Also I'm creating this new file in the package "tr.com.bilisim.class_diagram" and details part of this error message in dialog also says
"BME-02002 : The name of the element can not be set to 'class_diagram' as another element has got the same name in the package"
"BME-02002 : The name of the element can not be set to 'bilisim as another element has got the same name in the package"
"BME-02002 : The name of the element can not be set to 'com' as another element has got the same name in the package"
"BME-02002 : The name of the element can not be set to 'tr' as another element has got the same name in the package"
As I understand from the error message, during creating a new class diagram from 'new file dialog' also tries to create the directories in relevant package (tr.com.bilisim.class_diagram).
How can I solve this problem? Please urgent help!

Error during creating a Vendor:"Vendor Already Exists- Error Message- 2007"

Hi,
During creating a Vendor I am facing a problem, I get message as "Vendor XXX(number) Already Exists". I have checked the number ranges for vendor and found that current number in the system for the vendors exceeds the number XXX, mentioned above.
I dont understand why this is happening.

Go to SE16 , enter the table name as LFA1 .
Enter the vendor number for which you are getting the error .
Execute and view the record for which you are getting the error , you will come to know who has created the vendor and when , check the corresponding entry in LFB1 for more details .
Else , execute the T code FK03 and enter the vendor number and check the vendor details .

Error while creating transformation in BI

Hi Experts,
Could you please help me in sloving the below two points in BI.
1. While creating transformation from Data source to infosource in BI, it was throwing error 'Active version of emulated 3.x DataSource XXXXXXX cannot be displayed'. The source system here is another BW 3.5 system. Please help how to create transformation for this.
2. While adding no-cumulative key figure to infosource it gave error ' non-cumulative key figures can't be added to infosource'. Is there any way to add these type key figures to infosource.
Could you please give solution for the above.

Hi,
Check the DataSource is in which version, i mean is it in 3.x or 7. Because we can create the transformations if and only if the DataSource is in 7 version. If it is in 3.x, it will allow u to create Transfer rules. So first migrate the DataSource form 3.x to 7 suing tcode RSDS.
Non-cumulative keyfigures are loaded directly from datasource to data target. System not allows u to maintain at InfoSource level ( I am not sure about this, confirm once).

I have assigned the price as Fixed currecy to 'USD'
i`don't think we have to add the currency field in flat file structure
i m getting the following error

Check if you have Direct Assignment set up after the mapping.
RClick - Rule Details - Direct Assignment - Have it mapped.

How did you define ZRA_PRICE, with currency USD or 0LOC_CURRCY or ??
Just recheck ...and have the 0CURRENCY set to constant to USD in the Target...it need not exist in the Source.

ERROR during creating new Database

OS: Solaris 10 x86 (10/08)
Oracle: Release 10.2.0.2.0 - Production (Standard Edition)
I have just installed Oracle without basic/sample database. I was going to find out how to make it handy.
What I did:

Error during create database connection (JDeveloper)

Hello!
Have you any suggestions of this: When I try to create new database connection to 9i DBMS, I've got errors:
ORA-00604: error with recursive SQL
ORA-12705: Invalid or unknown NLS parameter value specified.
At the same time I try to do the same with another one DBMS,
10g, and everything is Ok.

Stephen, sure, I did all actions you described, during "Create new Database Connection":
(filling in driver (thin), host name (i.e. localhost), jdbc port (i.e. 1521), and sid (i.e. orcl) )
Th result I think should be looks like

(tns for that DBMS is

As I wrote, the same actions give OK result, if dbms = 10g.
But, I want to test OEBS adapter, and OEBS stands on 9i DBMS only,
so I need to work with 9i

Error during creating a control record

Hi Experts,
we are using EEC6.03 version.
system error..
Change before earliest retro. date 01.03.2010 acc. to control rec. to py area CO
Error-
While creating Control Record, system takes advance period.
example-
We have given present payroll period as 12.2009, and earliest retro active accounting peroid as 10.2009,
then system takes the date 01.03.2010.
Actually System should take present payroll period as 01.12.2009, But is shows as 01.03.2010. I am unable to understand.

Hi,
It seems that your payroll periods are screwed up. To check that please check table V_T549Q (SM30) and see if period corresponds to dates. Period parameter is assigned to payroll area in table V_T549A.
Then if it is wrong you can regenerate them using transaction OG00. Please read report help thoroughly.

Error while creating transformation from DSO to InfoCube

Hi Gurus,
When i am creating tranformation from DSO to InfoCube getting an error, " The unit/currency 'Source Currency 0CURRENCY ' with the value 'space' is assigned to the key figure 'Source Key Fig. ZAMT_PLC ' with the value
'8.50 ' "
ZAMT_PLC is created with 0CURRENCY.
On checking we found that there is no value stored for Currency field in table level itself. Now in this case how do we avoid this error.
I want to know why is this we need to have value for 0Currency field???

Hello Anup,
If you load a key figure which has a unit assigned to it,
then for every records where the key figure has a valid value
(value 0) the corresponding unit has to be delivered as well.
Additionally please check note 1366474 regarding the RSTRAN 312
error message:
"The corrections contained in Note 1165168 are incomplete.
Depending on the sequence during loading, the system may not issue error
message RSTRAN 312 even though data regarding the assigned unit or
currency "space" is incorrect."
This means actually, that the system should have issued the RSTRAN312
error message even before the upgrade, but for some reason this
check found no issues in some constellations. This means furthermore
that your system behaved incorrectly in the past, that this
error message was not triggered if you loaded key figures without
any unit.
I'm sorry to tell you, but the system behaves and works as designed
as it should be even before the correction from note 1366474.
Please change your transformations for key figures which
have a unit assigned, that the unit field is filled correctly.
with the corresponding units, otherwise the system will abort
the processing of the data with the above mentioned error
message.

Error while creating "Transformation" in BI 7.0

Hello Guys
I am getting the following error when I am creating a transformation between a Datasource and an Infosource in BI 7.0
" Syntax error in GP_ERR_RSTRAN_MASTER_TMPL, row 1,644 (-> long text)"
When I go into the program: GP_ERR_RSTRAN_MASTER_TMPL, here is the error:

While creating a transformation for DSO in SAP BI, I got an error "Data source xxx (FS_xxx) does not exist in version A". I would like to know what this error is all about and how to resolve this issue.

Hi Bhusan,
You have to activate your datasoure to make it as an ACTIVE version.
SO in RSA1>Modelling>Datasouces--> find your datasource name and activate it first.
Then create your transformation and continue with other steps.

OIM 11g-Error During Creating a new Scheduler Job

I am trying to create a new scheduled job. I imported the job by using the 'weblogicImportMetadata.sh'.
But when I click on the task lookup while creating a job using UI, I am getting the following error in the logs. Please let me know if anyone faced this error before and how can it be resolved.

I am afraid you might have made some undesirable changes in the /db/tasks.xml..... And don't go via plugin route... Instead
Please restore the backup of /db/tasks.xml...
The better alternative would be:
(1) Create a separate /db/ABCDMyCustomScheduler.xml (Remember the /db part... This should be the folder...
/home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/MYPROJECTMDSFILES/import/db/ABCDMyCustomScheduler.xml
Then in the weblogicImportMetadata.sh, import path should be till:
/home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/MYPROJECTMDSFILES/import
If it does not begin with /db, the job will not appear when you would try to create new job for it via Web GUI
(2) Upload Jar.sh as Scheduler task...
(3) Restart and all that...

Error during create business object with XACML schema

Hi
I can't create a policyset business object with access_control-xacml-2.0-policy-schema-cd-04.xsd schema file in Jdeveloper 11.1.1.3 with bpm11g extension.
it raise bellow error message.

after download the zip file ,you only need the access_control-xacml-2.0-policy-schema-cd-04.xsd file,
start Jdeveloper in debug mode(run jdev in console), import xsd file to bpm project, and create the business object, then
you will got bellow error message.
Does any one know how to solve it?

Dear,
I think you have created GL as cost element.
Now you have to assign it in OKB9 - Display View "Account assignment" : Overview
In OKB9 specify weather this cost element give impact to cost center or profitability segment.
You have a cost account defined in accounts determination (OBYC). But every cost account must have a cost object associated (internal order, cost center, and so on).
You must decide what is the cost object to 'receive' the cost value on the account.
Go to OKB9, insert the account (can be plant dependant) and the cost object, then repeat GR.
