Error during deploying agent 12.1.2.2162 with Ops
hi,
I install the latest Ops version available for linux machine (12.1.2.2161)
All works like it should but when I try to deploy the agent on a sparc T5220 with solaris 11 installed, I receive this error message from Ops :
+03/12/2013 10:35:45 AM CET ERROR Cannot launch job to provision agent to t5220: Cannot find agent bundle for operating system=SunOS, OS version 11, processor=sparc and version<=12.1.2.2161 for proxy pc304 (80304). The asset is currently managed agentlessly. To convert to agent management, select the OS and perform Switch Management Access after correcting the problem: (10211)+
On the server with Ops installed, I have this agent images :
OpsCenterAgent.Linux.i686.12.1.2.2161.zip
OpsCenterAgent.Linux.i686.12.1.2.2161.zip.sig
OpsCenterAgent.Solaris.i386.12.1.2.2162.zip.sig
OpsCenterAgent.Solaris.i386.12.1.2.2162.zip
OpsCenterAgent.Solaris.sparc.12.1.2.2162.zip
OpsCenterAgent.Solaris.sparc.12.1.2.2162.zip.sig
The problem is in the proxy when he checks the agent version present in Ops.
I didn't find the previous sparc agent version 12.1.2.2161
I don't know where I can modify this check or download the previous version.
If someone knows ?
Thanks in advance.

Solaris 11 agents can only be provisioned by a sol11 Enterprise Controller and Proxy Controller. Please check the support matrix in the docs.

Compile error during deployment. (App. Server 8 with Mysql)
I am using Sun Application Server 8 with several Mysql databases.
When I attempt to deploy my .EAR, the App Server's CMP compiler gives an error regarding missing JDO classes.
I did try dowloading JDO from java.sun.com, but noted that the jdo jars do not contain the needed classes referenced in the error.
Error follows:

Development Infrastructure:
- development configuration: local development
- development configuration: saptest (SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 EHP1)
Before I created the EAR file with the Web Service Generation Tool, I have carried out the following steps:
- Created a ruleset (including two rules and one decision table) (development configuration: saptest)
- Build and deploy the ruleset on the java server...
- Created a dummy web module (development configuration: local development)
- Added 3 dependencies (references) to the dummy web module:
- References 1: enginee.jee5.facade (no selection on design time, deploy time or runtime)
- References 2: tc/bl/logging/api (selection on design time, deploy time and runtime)
- References 3: tc/brms/ facade (selection on design time, deploy time and runtime)
- Dummy web module -> sync used DC's
- Build dummy web module
After that I started the Web Service Generation Tool and created the EAR file....
1) NWDS -> window -> show view -> others -> deploy view -> deploy view
2) Added the EAR file to External Deployable Archives
3) deployed the file to the java server... then the warning occurs...
How can I resolve this error?

Can somebody help me with this problem?
Kind regards,
Martin GerritsenHello Martin Gerritsen,
This is Arti from the PM team.
It seems to me that the brms facade has not yet started in your application server. You can check whether it has started or not by doing the following -
You need to access the JavaEE Applications running on your AS. To do this -
1. Open the nwa portal
2. Navigate to Operations Management > Systems > Start & Stop > Java EE Applications
3. Search for the brms related applications available on the server.
In case the applications have not yet been started, please try to manually start them. If you still have problem in starting the BRMS facade please contact me.
I will send across to you a fresh set of SCAs which you can deploy into your server to resolve this issue.

Check the log file at <OMS_HOME>\sysman\prov\agentpush\2011-08-18_10-45-16-AM\logs\sshSetup2011-08-18_11-19-21-AM.log for more information.
I tried the following from both the host and working fine.
ssh host1 date from host2
ssh host2 date from host1
When I try to do the manual ssh setup running the cmd
$ sh sshUserSetupNT.sh -hosts "user-pc" -user karthick -localPlatformGrp win -asUser SYSTEM [-asUserGrp root] -sshLocalDir \.ssh -homeDir $HOME
sshUserSetupNT.sh: line 17: $'\r': command not found
sshUserSetupNT.sh: line 20: $'\r': command not found
sshUserSetupNT.sh: line 27: $'\r': command not found
sshUserSetupNT.sh: line 231: syntax error near unexpected token `elif'
'shUserSetupNT.sh: line 231: ` elif ! test -f "$CLUSTER_CONFIGURATION_FILE"
Getting the above error.
Pls let me know how to fix this issue.
Thanks in advance,
-KarthicKHi KarthicK,

Error during deployment - NoSuchMethodError DatabaseLogin.clone()
Hi All,
I'm running Jdeveloper 11.1.1.6.0 and I have a SOA composite that contains a BPM process wired to a BPEL process which is connected to a DBAdapter. I suddenly started getting these errors when deploying my app today.

Could this be due to the fact that the db adapter getSTN jca connection factory location is bound to a jndi name that has a multi-data source (load-balanced) ?
thanks,
VikramNever mind. I found the problem. But you have to admit - The error does throw you off completely though.
I had a database adapter referencing a jndi name like eis/DB/MySTN which did exist earlier but I removed it from the DbAdapter connection factory on the weblogic console before deploying. Also I referenced the DbAdapter connection factory xaDataSource to a generic data source instead of multi - that seemed to help as well. -

Can you try other tools for deployment like ant task wldeploy or directly using
command line Weblogic.Deployer?

Error: Result of agent resolution does not agree with agents of task
Hi,
I'm getting the error "Result of Agent Resolution does not agree with agent of Task". I'm passing the agents in Expression which I'm getting from Method in my previous step and passing to workflow container and it is getting passed to Expression. The userid is present in that container. And the Task is assigned as General Task but still I dont know what might be the problem. The ID is with 'US' prefix. Even if I give the userid directly in the Task, it shows the same error.
Regards,
JMBHi
Incase you are using different clients for development and testing, make sure in testing client, task is assigned as general task.
You may check the way the userid is passed. Please note that the US is object type and Object ID(user id) is different. Both of them should not be part of one string. So while you test, just pass the user id without a prefix US. Hope it will work for u.

Hi Tom
Yes we do have an URL provided in the descriptor. It's
t3://jms.server.net:7001.
and the jms.server.net is resolved via a hosts file in Win2K
eg,
192.168.100.200 jms.server.net
You are right in saying that the loopback in a dual-net card is a problem.
But our solution
above solves the issue as long as your host file does not use 127.0.0.1 as
the IP.
We need the URL b/c depending on our client's deployment , the JMS Server
may be remote or may be local.

Error during deploying using sapdeploy ant task
I am attempting to deploy a simple service which I have created using Dev studio. Instead of deploying using Dev studio, I want to use ant task for the same.
This is the output I see in the console:
deploy:

[sapdeploy] Error Handling Strategies: [error action: 'prerequisites', error strategy: 'stop', error action: 'deploy', error strategy: 'stop']
[sapdeploy] The targeted SAP J2EE Engines are: [server host: 'myhost', server port '50000', user name 'J2EE_ADMIN'.]

Where can I get more details of what might be wrong with the deploy process? I tried "-v" flag but to no avail. Syslog of the server shows nothing of interest.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Regards,
SameerLogs will be in log\dc_log folder.
