How do you generate test plan in MTM, please provide the detail steps. Do you clone test plan in MTM? What’s the version of your TFS?

Errors : XL Reporter - During generate Report

Hi All,
I am facing below errors during generate the reports(Indian Legal Reports i.e. Country Specific Contents)
Before opening the excel sheet its giving me errors:
An error occured during the process "Report Initialize"
Description : 666 Unable to get document
Type : 222
Cause : Automation Error
XL Reporter Startup failed.
After clicking OK of this error , report opens but there is no data coming in Excel Sheets only the binding of the fields is showing and as i close the excel report, again have the error:
Error '91':
Object varaible or with block variable not set.

When trying to run a report or opening a report definition in Excel you get an error message:
'An error occurred during the process "Report Initialize", Description: (666) Error! Unable to get document! Type: 22
Cause: Automation Error
XL Reporter startup failed!'
Type can vary between 22 and 18. Then Excel starts, but without the report definition or report and when closing Excel you get a second error message:
'Run-time error `91`:
Object variable or With block variable not set'
The run-time error can vary between 91 and 380.

Reason and Prerequisites
Prerequisites:
.NET Framework 2.0.
The user is not member of the Administrators group.
This is a problem in .NET 2.0. The reason is that there is a "shim database" in the registry that the runtime reads to determine if an application that is about to load the runtime via COM interop really needs an earlier vesion instead. XL Reporter uses .NET 1.1 to run.
The problem is that the runtime is incorrectly asking for read/write permission to these reg keys rather than the read access it needs and so if you try to load managed code via com interop in a process that does not have administrator privilages you will get this behaviour.

Download the attached file and unzip the .config file to ..\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE12 for Excel 2007 or ..\OFFICE11 for Excel 2003 or ..\OFFICE10 for Excel 2002 on the clients with .NET 2.0 installed.
This .config file tells the Excel.exe to use .NET 1.1 to run.

Error while generating Web Service from a function module.

I am trying to create a web service from function module by doing the steps as mentioned in the below document:

Hi All,
I getting following error while generating screens using t-code BUSP for a CAA2 t-code

Message no. R11520
Diagnosis
Errors have occurred during screen generation. The reasons for this could be:
The maximum length of the screen was exceeded. There may be no more than 199 lines per subscreen container.
The maximum number of lines for the header-data area was exceeded. There may be no more than 15 lines in the header-data section.
Procedure
Check both of these potential sources of errors in the relevant screen, and make the necessary changes.
Could some body help me in this regards?

Hi,
For a dynpro there are 199 Lines available for screen elements and on the average the restriction of 10 views per section and 10 sections per screen. Just check this.

Error during generation of the WSDL: BUILD FAILED java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sun/javadoc/Type

When I create an EJB Transport Business Service, after selecting the jar that has the EJB 2.1 artefacts (Remote, Home, etc) the oepe plugin fails and can't continue.
As I understand it seems that there is a problem with the classpath of ant build.xml that oepe creates inside folder /tmp/alsbejbtransport/ to compile the bs and generate the wsdl. I checked if tools.jar is in the classpath (in eclipse) and is included, so I can't figure out wich is the problem.
I found this in Oracle, but not helps solve the problem:

I tried to follow the instructions in note 1269960, but the enhancement spot
CLASSIFICATION_TOOL was already active. I activated it again and reran the phase
but got the same error. Also, I couldn't implement the note using SNOTE because it is
the middle of the upgrade process.
I also found the following long text in ST22
"Internal error during syntax check: ("//bas/710_REL/src/krn/gen/scsymb.c#11"
Processing had to be terminated because an internal error
occurred when generating the ABAP/4 program
"CL_CLS_BADI_CHARACTERIZATION==CP".
The internal system error cannot be fixed by ABAP means only."
I am on a 64 bit System with CentOS Linux. 8 GB RAM, 250 GB HD with 20 GB free space.
So far, I could not find any information on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Victor,
Go to SM37 and put in the username as DDIC and see the job log.
Also check Sm50 and see whether you have BTC processes available.
Last but not the least check your filesystem space usage too.

IDES system copy ..error during IMPORT_ABAP..unable to create indexes

I am doing a IDES system copy. I ran the report SMIGR_CREATE_DLL , the export activities have been completed successfully as well on the source system. Now on the target system, during the import, I am getting the following error in the log file SAPDFACT.log.

The owner for this table is SAPSR3. Some oracle forums suggested to drop the index before recreating it. But when i do "drop index SAPSR3."/BI0/E0RSTT_C06~P..it says.."the specified index does not exist". But when I go to recreate this index, it doesn get created successfully. After that when I re-run the import, it again fails. Suprisingly..now if i go to check if this index is present thru a sql querry:
select owner, object_name, object_type from dba_objects where object_name='SAPSR3."/BI0/E0RSTT_C06~P"', it tells "no rows selected". This is happening everytime, I create an index, where it gets created successfully, and the import again fails with the same error in SAPDFACT.log.
I found an SAP note 885441 named..common errors during migration..although mine isnt a migration..my both source and destination are Red hat 64 bit platform.
The note 1st asks to download the latest R3load..which I did and extracted in the kernel directory of the source..then it also asked to edit the .TSK file..in my case..SAPDFACT.TSK..where the lines:
I /BIC/E<Cubename>~<index> C err
to I /BIC/E<Cubename>~<index> C ign..
I did that..this time..the import again fails..but in the SAPDFACT.log..it complains about some other index..n the same gets generated in the .TSK file as well..the earlier index error is not again generated.
I am not sure..what is going wrong..my export went through successfully.i have done the prep steps for export as well..before that i ran the SMIGR_CREATE_DLL report as well..

Error during TableScript Generation

We are installing one new MSV client for QA testing and we get error during table script generation. I tried generating only middleware tables and one selected table.

The IDES DSN works, IDES has rights, Site id can be assigned, in fact the METADATA generation is successful too (I tried it just to see how it progresses)
But because this middleware and none of the table scripts are generated the conntrans wont work. I do not see the conntrans folder getting created under SAP\Mobile.
Any help??
The SQL server installed is Microsoft SQL server 2005 and Mobile is Release 7.0 Sp 01/ 5.0 SP12.

Hi Aparna,
I've not seen this error before. Maybe what you can do is generate the Table Scripts(and don't execute them on IDES) using Client Console. THen browse to this TableIndexScripts.sql in BIN.NET and see if these 2 scalars 'qry' and 'isnullable' are present in the same case(upper or lower) across the script.
And then run the script directly on IDES.

Error during context generation

In interactiveForm UI, when i put adobe form name in Templatesource and try to generate context automatically,
i get an error message ' Error during context generation ' and an empty context node is created.
i manually create attributes under that node and populate them in wddoinit method.
but i dont get those values on PDF output.
What may be the error ??

my web dynpro abap application is ready and adobe form is also ready.
when i integrate adobe interactive form on WDA and put form name in TEMPLATESOURCE and press enter
it throws an error message - 'Error in context generation' and an empty node is generated in WDA.
on running the application adobe form is displayed but no data is displayed.
what may be the error ?
i maintained attributes of node manually but then also no data is displayed.
that means data binding is not successful.
what may be the case ???

I did finish all the unicode preconversion steps and also ran the SMIGR_CREATE_DDL program. I had exported recently from the same system but I never got this error during that run.
Another question is about the order in which the steps need to be performed. I completed the preconversion steps, then ran the SMIGR_CREATE_DDL program before proceeding to the export phase. Is this right or does it not matter?

If the object does not exists on the source target database, please check if the ddic of sap still contains the table definition. (SE11 or SE14)
If yes you can set the status of the table /BIC/SZTERR_CD to "ok" in the corresponding task file.
You can not fix this problem in other way after you have started the conversion, because of the export files are already generated (with the information of the sap ddic)...

Getting error while generating report from Siebel (Siebel/BI Publisher)

I have completed the integration of siebel and BIP according to the oracle document, I successfully upload the sample template from siebel application to BIP server.
But now I am facing two issues,

This specifically means that the destinations have not been configured in the Crystal Job Server. If you're running 4.x, this may be part of the "Adaptive Job Server" instead of or in addition to a Crystal Job Server. If you're using 3.1 or earlier, you'll also have to set up the destination in the Destination Job Server.
You'll have to log in to the CMC, go to Servers, right-click on the correct job server and go to "Destinations". You'll then add something like "File" or "Unmanaged Disk" to the available destinations and save. Stop the job server, start it again, and your error should go away.
Please be aware that unless you're using specific credentials to schedule the report or you're saving to the server where BO is installed, you'll need to make sure that the BO services are running under a network "Services" account that has access to the folder you're scheduling the report to. By default during installation it's set to run under the "Local Services" account that doesn't have access to the network.

Unable to delete request from write-optimized DSO (Error during rollback)

Hi Gurus,
I am trying to delete a delta request from a Write-Optimized DSO. This request was uploaded with a DTP from another Write-optimized DSO.
The actual overall status of the request is RED and the description of that status is now: 'Error during rollback of request DTPR_4JW6NLSVDUNYY3GTD6F4DQJWR; only rollback allowed'.
I checked the log of all Request Operations in DataStore (from the same line where the red request is now) and I see my several attemps to delete this request under a RED radiobutton with the title Rollback. The details for this error are the following:

Diagnosis
The system could not delete the request data from the active table of a write-optimized DataStore object.

Error when generate Transformation- GP_ERR_RSTRAN_MASTER_TMPL related

We created transformation for cube 0PA_C01 and infoSource 0HR_PA_1 based on 3.x transfer rule. When we performed "Check", it is done successfully with any error. But during activation, there s syntax error occurred in program "GP_ERR_RSTRAN_MASTER_TMPL". And error lines are as following--

Iam creating transformations for 0IC_C03. Iam facing problem in activating the transformations successfully. Some times it is throughing the above said error and some other times it is throughing the error ASSIGN_TYPE_CONFLICT. I searched forums almost a day and i found that SP 9 is unstable in which we are now and experts suggesting to upgrade to SP10 or SP12. But the problem is client is not willing to go to SP upgradation now. I have no clue now. I almost spend two days on this. But on the other hand iam able to generate transformations successfully and able to load data for other cube 0SD_D04.
kindly suggest any one to get rid of this issue. Iam running out of time.
