I have ceated a Shipping cost document, account assignment is fully completed.
While I am trying to transfer the shipping cost document, the following error message occurs in the log:

I too have run into this error message when attempting to transfer a Shipment Cost Document to FI/CO.
It is obvious that this error message is not very descriptive so here is what I did in an effort to resolve:
First, attempt to manually post an FI document using the same G/L Account Assignment used in the SCD that is throwing the error message "SE117: General error during acceptance posting". You can use FB01, FB60, ME21N and then enter a GR, etc. to verify that the account assignment is valid.
What I discovered in my scenario is that the profit center I was using was blocked. Once I used a valid G/L Account + Profit Center Combination the error went away and I was eventually able to transfer the SCD to FI/CO.

Error during PDF post processing in HtmlToPDF

Hi,
I am using Web services interface to convert Html document to PDF. Works fine for simple html documents stored locally. However when using a remote html document (for example the one in the quickstart--http://www.adobe.com--I am getting an exception:
ALC-PDG-16003-16003-000: com.adobe.livecycle.generatedpdf.client.ConversionException: ALC-PDG-016-003-An unknown/unexpected error occurred during PDF post-processing.
I get the same error when trying this conversion from the Administration Console. I am using JBoss/turnkey. I do not have Adobe Acrobat running on the server computer.

Hello Ramya,
I am not finished checking but I did make some progress. Testing from html file located on the server machine, I use the url for file. For example if the file is named foo.html and it is located in directory c:\adata then the file url is
file:///c:/adata/foo.html
That works for me using adminui, and from calling the web service.
The example in the quickstart ( converting the default page at
http://www.adobe.com ) does not work for me just yet. Still get the post pdf processing error.
If not doing so already, check the server log to see if any additional debug information is provided.

BAPI_INSPLOT_SETUSAGEDECISION Error during quantity posting for inspection

Dear SAP Guru,
I used a BAPI call : BAPI_INSPLOT_SETUSAGEDECISION in my program to perform UD and post Q-stock to Unrestricted stock. The BAPI executed successfully for my developer user account but not for end user account login.
The BAPI returns an error as below:
Error captured in system: EQV 054Error during quantity posting for inspection lot 340005776022, manual proc. Required
Guess some authorization object for the BAPI_INSPLOT_SETUSAGEDECISION call is missing.
Have tried SE97 for possible Authorization Check for Start of a Transaction but not able to solve the problem.
Can anyone help? Really appreciate that.

Goto OBYC Transaction.
Select the Procedure as ' GBB" and enter the Chart of Accounts ( for Your Company code)
Enter the Valuation modifier as assigned to others.
Enter the General modifier as ZOB
Enter the Valuation class ( with respect ROH/SFG others)
Enter the Debit/ Credit G/L account
save then proceed your transaction MIGO.

during J1IEX capturing i m facing a prob that is " excise details are not maintained for vendor xxxxx , so i had gone to J1ID here i had selected vendor excise details ---> a new screen opens -- here PAN no , excise ind is 1, serv tax no is there , type of vendor - M , can ne one tell me what more is to be maintained so that i can cap. exc inv in J1IEX.

no i had not capture the invoice by MIGO i m trying to do ti in
J1IEX , Actually the scenario is pl read it --Scenario is that user had created a P.O of doc type =ZIN i.e for indivisible material & service item cat is D, while acctt assignment is K in services tab of P.O 2500kg is given while serv entry is done for 2310kg as per invoice , here what happened is user had given a material to vendor through subcontr challan, for galvanized coating so vendor is charging excise on this coated material . here user had given tax code for ED as Applicable + 4% VAT Raw Material , and the condition maintained in P.O for taxes are as below
like JMOP, JEC1, JSEP , jvrd,
*Now our own material had rcvd in store after coating from vendor , but here user had not done MIGO for this but he had done Serv entry for this , now he says how to capture J1IEX
pl guide what to do fro this,* or pl guide is the P.O made is wrong or correct.?

I am getting an error " Error in FI posting 20081203" in the J2IUN tcode. I tried to post monthly utilization for the month of November with posting date 30.11.2008. The periods 8 and 9 ae open.

I think this is not the error of posting period.Please check all the input you are giving is correct one,
Please check the G/L balances against which you are utilizing via FBL3N , it should not minus in any case.whether available amount is sufficient for utilization for all type of taxes?
Also check the total entry by simulating the entry- debit / credit is zero?

Dear Gurus,
Need your help regarding the error encountered during MIGO. Error M7172 "Serial Number management only allows whole number"
Based from the PO posted, Matl X has 50ea order quantity, however, the material master is maintained with a Base unit of OZ,
with this, conversion has been added to convert the EA --> OZ. and result will be 0.531OZ for the PO Qty in SKU.
Known that decimal places is not possible in conjunction to Serial Number Management.
May I just confirm if there could be settings that can be configured, so as to allow decimal values be used and assign serial number. Or is serial number should just be assigned per unit (meaning 1:1, one serial number per 1 whole value of uom)?

All duties are showing zero except BED.

It might be an error in the configuration of the G/L account field selection. The initial application, used to call up the interface must otherwise define a value for field "Bus. Area". If this is the case, contact the consultant responsible for the application used to call up the interface or get in contact with SAP directly.

It may be, While creating the GL they have done wrongly.

MIRO error during invoice posting

Hi,
when I post an invoice document with MIRO, the system prompts with the following error:
Account type K is not defined for document type RE
Message no. F5243
How can I post the invoice ?

GO to OBA7 ....select the document type and select detail and select customer check box under account type allowed data.......

I've the following message error dring invoice verification:
Balance in transaction currency
Message no. F5702
Diagnosis
A balance has occurred in transaction currency 'EUR' with the following details:
Exchange rate '00', amount '1,00' and currency key 'EUR'.
The data in the transaction currency were transferred from the calling application.
System Response
Your data cannot be processed in FI.
Procedure
The error is probably in the calling application.
I don't understand the cause of this problem

Are you using the currency exchange b/w your docs..
if yes then pls check table TCURR and check whether the exchange is maintained properly or not??
Also check wether its valid for the current period or not...
Also make the assign via versa also like
For eg:
EUR to GBP
and
GBP to EUR
Also any you making this 2nd or 3rd invoice or credit memo or sub seq. credit / debit doc??
Anything else you would like to tell, pls update...

Error during installation of SAP on win 2003 Server

Hello All,
I am trying to install SAP 4.6 on win 2003 server. The process of installation has completed for almost more than 9 hours. I am getting an error during "Database post processing". When I clicked "retry" the installation has stopped and restarted the system. I tried to start the SAP server which turns from Yellow to green. In my case, it turns to yellow and cannot proceed further.
Also, is it necessary to stop the Oracle services till the end of the installtion?

-> which database are you on?
-> sap 4.6 is rather old...think about installing supported releases such as 4.7 or erp2004/2005
