Error During LIV

Hello All,
I am trying to Post a Invoice, which includes tax on input, The tax is a deductible one.
On simutaing the Invoice, I get a error "Balance in Transaction Currency".
I had maintained the Tax account for the Tran/Evnt key VST through OB40.
The tax account is not getting determined even after the setting. The Currency used in the document is same as the IR processing currency.

Hi,
The Calculate tax indicator is switched on, even then the problem happens.
I am using TAXBRA procedure for the country brazil version.
Would there be any customizations required in LIV to bring in tax accounts apart from the OB40 settings. ?

MS OFfice: 2003
Also, I ahve installated BO XI3.1 server.
Earlier it everything was working fine.
Later as the Live office icon was not seen in the Excel so I tried repair it.
After that I am getting this problem: nFata error during installation.
I tried rintsllaing entire BO 3.1 setup completly by cleaning the resigstry. But that also did not help.
It would be great if someone can provide any solution ASAP.

Error during Live Cache Server Installation on SCM 4.1 system

I have an SCM 4.1 ABAP system running on MSSQL2005 and Win2003 server.I would like to install Live Cache Server on the same Server.Livecache client was installed as part of SCM 4.1 installation.
I have installed MAXDB software and now when im trying to install Live Cache Server Instance i get the below error

Fatal error during installation of Live Office XI 3.1

Hello everyone,
Im getting Fatal Error during the installation of BOBJ Live Office XI 3.1. The full description: "The installation ended prematurely because of an error." This error occurs immediately after popup with Installer Information.
Maybe it happens because of my system: Windows 7 64 bit, MS Office 2010.
Do you have any advice how can I install it?

you should check the PAR but I'm pretty sure it doesn't run on Windows 7 nor on MS 2010.

Error During INSTALL of Application Export File

An error is reported during INSTALL of an application that I am trying to copy (Import/Install) from a "development" Work Space into a "production" Work Space. The production (target) Work Space is on the same HTML DB instance as the development Work Space.
I am receiving the following INSTALL error:
ORA-20001: GET_BLOCK Error. ORA-20001: GET_STMT error. ORA-20001: Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. Following is some pertinent (hopefully) information:
The above INSTALL error takes exception to part of a Region Select (sql) that works fine in the development Work Space.
The common HTML DB (v1.6) instance is on UNIX.
A new Work Space was created on the same instance.
A new schema name was created during creation of the new Work Space. However, this schema does not point to a database. (We were not certain how to setup the schema to parse to our live database.) I will be running DBLINK upon production application startup in order to access the database objects.
EXPORT INFO -
File Format: UNIX (also, tried DOS but received same error during INSTALL)
IMPORT INFO -
File Type: Application/Page Export
File Character Set: Western European Windows 1252
Target Work Space is newly created on the same HTML DB instance.

Fatal error during installation

I have been attempting to update my version of Boot Camp from 2.1 to 2.2. I have tried on numerous occasions with Apple Software Update but it never installs when the computer restarts. I have Vista 32bit installed on the partition. I tried to update with my Snow Leopard disk to 3.0 but it says the installer encountered errors before Boot Camp could be configured. It also does this with my Leopard disk. As a last resort I tried to repair the Boot Camp Services from the Windows Vista control panel and I get Fatal Error During Installation. Any ideas?

Since you only give one of error log and the Error 0x80070643 code is a common error, we need more information to diagnose the problem. Before you collect the logs, you should follow up these steps to install Visual Studio:
1. Re-download the Visual studio from Microsoft official site here:

Error during batch determination in sales order

The characteristics you used to configure the product in the sales order are passed dynamically during run time as selection criteria to determine a matching class and that's where the problem is happening.
Sit with an ABAPer to debug and find out what's the issue. Your focus for this activity should be on the following includes to Program SAPLV01F:

More specifically, test the following Function Modules with your live data to figure out which one is failing:

SAP Provided me a note to implement to fix this issue. The note number is 1238616 but I need to understand how to reproduce this error in SandBox to implement this note and check if the problem will get fixed...
Currently my OSS is assigned to SAP (Live Cache team) to let me know the root cause for this problem and how to reproduce in lower environment (sandbox) to implement the note and check if the problem will get fixed.
As work around we are manually activating these errors in CIF queues that are getting clean.

I got this message 'Error during determination of the pegging area 505 4766 SGV3' in CIF queue while transferring the sales order from R/3 to APO.
Could you please suggest me some idea, how do I debug and find where exactly this error is happening?
Or Is there any functional setting to come out this error?

Try to use /SAPAPO/OM_TB_PEGAREA_CREATE or /SAPAPO/OM_PEGAREA_CREATE_TEST programs to check your peg area consistency in live cache.
/SAPAPO/OM_DEFECT_PEGAREAS can also try to help you find peg areas that may be defective.
Try to see the SLG1 log for CIF in R/3 and APO to get more clues on why the issue is coming up.
if all this does not help, I would recommend trying to work with subsets of data in integration model to exactly identify the location products that are causing the issue. Once you identify the location products causing this problem(using /SAPAPO/SDORDER_DEL), I would suggest you to get rid of sales orders in APO and re-CIF it back into APO.

Starting JVM Tool Interface agents in the VM during live phase

The JVM Tool Interface(JVMTI) specification says that the JVMTI agents can be started in the VM during live phase but they havent mentioned how it can be done. Has anyone tried this before or got any hints on how to do it?

Erika, first and foremost please try logging into SQLPlus and unlock the ddic login.
Following is the procedure, check what is the username for shadow instance user, whether it is SAPR3SHD or SAP<SID>SHD. Use whichever applicable
unlock them throught OS/DB level :
example for Oracle as <sid>adm :
svrmgrl
connect internal
update sapr3shd.usr02 set uflag=0 where bname='ddic' and mandt='000';
commit;
exit
Note about uflag values :
0 User not locked
32 (Hex 20) Locked by central administrator of CUA
64 (Hex 40) Locked by administrator
128 (Hex 80) Locked due to incorrect messages
Now once you have unlocked the user. stop the shadow instance and start it once again. Now try to login to the shadow instance using ddic user and password.
If you are able to then try repeating the START_SHDI_FIRST phase and check.
If it doesnt go through and the error comes again. check whether you have entry for sapgw09 in /etc/services file.
Also you can check by logging in the original SAP system in transaction SM59, whether the ABAP connection for Shadow instance is working fine or not.

Problem During LIV

Hi,
When i am posting an Invoice in MIRO. I want to load some amount in the material directly. I have activated the Material Tab from SPRO.
But now when i am inputing the material code and quantity the same is going in the G/L code which is maintained against WRX - Key in OBYC. But not going in the concerned G/L account which is maintained for material in EIN key in OBYC that is for the purchase account.And if i try to maintain this value in WRX its giving me an error that the value is already maintained in EIN.
My objective is that i want to load the price diffrenece during LIV to the material cost.

Is the material MAP? If not then you cannot post the costs to the material account.
If it IS MAP controlled then you should be able to post directly to the material account using the posting that you have mentioned.

PS-Remoting done in DC's ; but giving error during the validation

I have done PS-Remoting for DC's through the list of DC's from a AD management server .
Getting the error during validation through the Powershell cmd Enter-PSSession -computer "Dcname"
But when I login to the particular DC from where the above error points, and renabling the PS-Remoting as below
,the Enter-PSSession cmd gives the result correctly
Do I have to login to the DC's in the list one by one and renable as above or how to solve this issue ?

This is not an issue. This is by design.
The Windows PowerShell remoting features are not enabled on Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008R2 by default.
If we want to use these features, we need enable them by using the command
Enable-PSRemoting –force.

We tried to transport the objects with different user id's, even then the issue still exists.
Any inputs to resolve this will be highly helpful.

Answer is inside this oss [Note 1554387 - Error during export from Integration Directory|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1554387]. In this oss note, solution is to apply a patch (just a patch, not a SP). as it's a litle sap bug...

Unknown Error during Recovery - iPad no longer Recognized by iTunes

I have a 3rd Generation iPad which I was attempting to perform a factory reset. I received an "Unknown Error" during the process and from that point on I have been unable to get iTunes to recognize my iPad in recovery mode (or otherwise).
I have tried every thread on the subject, but I found one interesting thing. If I connect the iPad with the same cable, etc. to another computer it immediately recognizes it in recovery mode and offers to restore the iPad.
It seems like my computer is not recognizing the iPad because it was in the process of restoring the device when the error occurred. Does anyone know if there is a way to reset or fix this issue. I would prefer not to update iTunes and download both the new iTunes and iPad software again and use another computer if it is not necessary.
Any help would be appreciated.

That was a good test to try your iPad on another computer. It does seem to isolate the issue to something with your computer setup.
Although you would prefer not to update iTunes, there may be steps in this article which can help.
