Error during table access in SRM portal
Hello Experts,
Recently we have upgraded the R/3 System 4.6C to ECC 6.0. We are trying to change the quantity of PO and order again in SRM 7.0 portal , but it is throwing an error 'Error during table access'. This happens only when we try to change the ordered PO and only after the R3 system is upgraded.I have checked across SDN forum before posting, but was not able to get relevant information.
Let me know if any configuration at the basis/functional level or any BADI needs to be checked, or if any OSS notes is there for ECC 6.0.
I checked two of them and it was not relevant to ECC.
Could you please help me in solving the issue?
Thanks in Advance,
M M Jaffer.
Hi Mathweus,
the namespace seems to be standard SAP name space with pre delivered content. So i think you can not regenerate the proxy in the same namespace. you need to copy the data type, message type and service interface to custom SWCV and namespace and then regenerate the proxy.

Harish

Portal Runtime error - An exception occured : when accessing the SRM Portal
Dear Consultants,
We are logging onto the SRM Portal using url link. SAP Netweaver 7.0
But when we are trying to access any tabs in the Navigation frame of the portal it is throwing an error.
Error - Portal Runtime error
An exception has occured while processing your request.
Can you please let me know how can I find the correct reason for the error.
regards
ArindamHi Arindam,
Pls check Default Trace log in the NWA tool, path would be NWA --> Monitoring --> Logs and Traces --> Select Default Trace.
Find the log messages with the Exception ID found on your Portal Runtime error. These logs would specify the exact cause of error.

Error occurred during table access. See long text
Hi Folks,
WHile billing system encountered the below error mesasge
CO-PA Characteristic Derivation
Diagnosis
Step 0053 Product AAG -> Temp2
While executing this table lookup, the system could not find an entry for the specified source values in table MVKE.
This derivation step is defined so that an error message is displayed when this occurs.
Table MVKE lacks entries for the following source values:
Product number/Sales Organizatio/Distribution Chan
TEST2/5130/11
Procedure
Make an entry in table MVKE for the specified source values.
If you do not want derivation to be performed in every instance, change the derivation step so that no error message is displayed if no entry exists.
Maintain derivation strategy
PLease let me know how to resolve the above mentioned issue.

RZ20 error message to be displayed on SRM Portal
Hello Gurus,
Can you someone provide me the idea of , how to display the error message of RZ20 on SRM Portal. We want to display the error message BP603 PO *** Item 001 Order **** budget exceeded.
I want this message to be displayed on the SRM portal . Basically I want to do the validation for both SC as well as PO. I checked the DOC_CHECK_BADI and its already Z implemented . Please do find the attached screenshot.
Thanks
GauravHi Gautham,
If you can replicate the issue, please put an external break point in the following functiona module.
FM: BBP_PD_MSG_ADD
Line in FM: IF <bypass_log> IS ASSIGNED.
This FM would be triggered for all the errors which are populated in SRM.
When the break-point is triggered look for values in the fields: I_MSGID, I_MSGNO and I_MSGV*.
In this way you can identify the message application and number after which we can backtrack the code which is doing this budget check in the transaction SE91 and same logic can be implemented in BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI to display the error in a purchasing document.
Let me know your findings.

Error during TableScript Generation
We are installing one new MSV client for QA testing and we get error during table script generation. I tried generating only middleware tables and one selected table.
1094 Error Executing Helper Scripts : [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Must declare the scalar variable "@qry".
0 Fetching Scripts from server...
1091 Error Executing Table script for CDBC_ACCPL_AUTHG : [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Must declare the scalar variable "@isnullable".
0 Table Script Generation Completed.
The IDES DSN works, IDES has rights, Site id can be assigned, in fact the METADATA generation is successful too (I tried it just to see how it progresses)
But because this middleware and none of the table scripts are generated the conntrans wont work. I do not see the conntrans folder getting created under SAP\Mobile.
Any help??
The SQL server installed is Microsoft SQL server 2005 and Mobile is Release 7.0 Sp 01/ 5.0 SP12.
Thanks in advance.
Edited by: Aparna Palve on Nov 17, 2010 7:05 PMHi Aparna,
I've not seen this error before. Maybe what you can do is generate the Table Scripts(and don't execute them on IDES) using Client Console. THen browse to this TableIndexScripts.sql in BIN.NET and see if these 2 scalars 'qry' and 'isnullable' are present in the same case(upper or lower) across the script.
And then run the script directly on IDES.
Thanks,

Hi,
I am a SRM beginner. Recently I gained access to SRM 5.00 (the ABAP based application), but have no idea how to launch or access the srm portal.
Any help or useful documentation regarding this topic as well as SRM in general would be appreciated.

It seems some mandatory System configuration settings are missing.
For time-being, please Try de-activating the active customer implementations of the BADIs BBPDOC_CHANGE / BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADIs and then try again the Shop process._
Please try to look into RZ20, ST22, RZ10, and SLG1 transactions for any error logs generated.
Also, Please Check the SAP OSS Notes ->

'An SQL error occurred when accessing a table'.

If some other job is accessing that table - then there might be lock on that which is causing failure..
1) Try looking at ST22 dump also..
2) Try to do RSA3 in R/3 and if see if its is fetching any records or not..

External Table LKM: error during task interpretation
I've had this problem more than once now, using "LKM File to Oracle (EXTERNAL TABLE)". Before the interface can even run, I get an error, as if the script can't be output. I've tried removing the LKM and reimporting. No use. I am using this LKM successfully in other projects... not sure why it would have issues here. When I had this problem previously, Oracle Support couldn't reproduce it (they certainly tried). I managed to work around it then, but now... this is getting problematic. Insight welcome.
Here's the start of the error:

MS05 transaction throws "SQL error: error during INSERT (table: &)"
Hi Team,
I am a BASIS engineer on MM system. we have a strange problem from customers we see an error on the MS05 screen with "SQL error: error during INSERT (table: &)" and when the support team runs MS01 transaciton this error gets resolved.
What I would like to know is what could be the likely cause of this error and how we can prevent it.
When I check the SM21 logs i noticed one log with "Transaction cancellation 61 204 ( PLAF )"
and under additional document section is the log I see the below information
Usually, the reason for this error is that an entry already exists
with the same key.
This problem can occur if the client was copied with the movement data
without adjusting the number range intervals.
Please check if the number ranges for this table have been set
correctly and, if necessary, correct the number range interval.
I am from BASIS and I have no clue in how the MM transactions are linked can any MM gurus help in identifying the root cause for this problem.
any help on this is highly appreciated
thanks
VijayHi
Are MS05 & MS01 you're referring is a T-code?. if so, then they are associated with planning and a PP consultant can give a more clear picture on it. Try posting this to a PP forum.
Based on the error log, i guess this may arise because of the number range problem, when the document is getting saved and record is being tried to inserted into a table.
Thanks

Hello everyone,
I developed a Web Service prototype accessing remote EJB using the EJB
control with special syntax in the jndi-name attribute: @jws:ejb
home-jndi-name="t3://10.10.245.70:7131/AccountDelegatorEJB"
Everything works fine, but I get an error when I restrict access to my web
service with a declarative security model by implementing steps provided in
help doc:
- Define the web resource you wish to protect
- Define which security role is required to access the web resource
- Define which users are granted the required security role
- Configure WebLogic Server security for my web service(Compatibility
Security/Users)
I launch the service by entering the address in a web browser. When prompted
to accept the digital certificate, click Yes, when prompted for network
authentication information, enter username and password, navigate to the
Test Form tab of Test View, invoke the method by clicking the button and I
get the following exception:
<error>
<faultcode>JWSError</faultcode>
<faultstring>Error during JNDI lookup from

I have a simple Hello method as well in my WebService (which is also
restricted) and it works fine, but remote EJB access doesn't. I tested my
prototype on Weblogic 7.2 and 8.1 platforms - same result.
Is that a bug or I am missing some additional configuration in order to get
that working. Has anyone seen similar behavior? Is there a known resolution?
Or a suggested way to work around the problem?
Thank you.
AndreAndre,
It would be best if this issue is handled as an Eval Support case. Please
BEA Customer Support at http://support.beasys.com along with the required
files, and request that an Eval support case be created for this issue.

Note: inter-domain communication is configured properly. The Web Service to
remote EJB works fine without a declarative security.
Any other ideas?
Thank you for your help.

Andre,
It seems you are using the URL
jndi:t3://secuser1:[email protected]:7131/AccountDelegatorEJB
whereas you should not be specifying the "t3:" protocol.
The URL should be like
jndi://secuser1:[email protected]:7131/AccountDelegatorEJB
Please do let me know if you see any issues with this.
Note that this will only allow you to access remote EJBs in the same WLS
domain. For accessing EJBs on another domain, you need to configure
inter-domain communication by
following a few simple steps as mentioned at
http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs81/ConsoleHelp/jta.html#1106135. This link has
been provided in the EJB Control Workshop documentation.

Anything else should I try?
P.S. AccountDelegatorEJB, the remote EJB my Web Service calls is NOTaccess

I hope there is a solution.

Andre,
Can you try using the following url with username and password
jndi://username:password@host:7001/my.resource.jndi.object ?
once you add webapp level security, the authenticated is the user who
invokes the EJB.
http://e-docs.bea.com/workshop/docs81/doc/en/workshop/guide/controls/ejb/con
CreatingANewEJBControl.html?skipReload=true
has more info on using remote EJB's.
Hope this helps.

ME 808: System error: error during update Table EKAB
Hi,
Couple of years ago, during carve out, one of the contracts was deleted.
A PO created against that contract carries some open quantities. Now our purchasing wants to close this PO, either by changing the quantity to delivered quantity (delivered quantity is lesser than PO quantity), or by checking the delivery complete box. But they are not able to do so, as there was no contract number exists in the system table.
I propose to create a contract with the same number mentioned in the PO and then to change the quantity in the purchase req and PO. However now the system issues a dump error message "ME 808: System error: error during update Table EKAB".
Can anyone help how to resolve the issue?
Any body had similar situation?
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
ShivaHi,
I am not sure how the external consultants deleted this contract during carve out.
Our division was bought out from another company and moved the data to our SAP system.
I checked the OSS and found note 922427 could resolve the issue.
Thanks for your response.
