Error during Usage decision

Hi,
System status is not updating in the transaction QA32.We find that system status is not updating from certain period earlier which is fine.
Another thing is We are not able to clear the inspection lots through UD in QA32.If we try to do the UD in QA32 we are getting the error operation QM20 not available for this lot message QV224.
If we try to view the inspection lot we are getting the error No status object is available for INL 80000000328
Message no. BS001.
At the time when system status is updating fine we are able to do these things.Is system status is the reason for this?
Please help us on the above mentioned problems.

I am using Sampling Procedure as follows:
Sampling Type : Fixed Sample
Valuation Mode : Attributive Inspection nonconf. Units
Inspection Points : Sample Management
I have assigned the Inspection Point as 200 and Sample Drawing Procdure in Inspection Plan Header.
I have recorded and closed results for 3 samples. During Usage decision the following message shows:
Not all physical samples are valuated! Do you want to force inspection completion?
This means that Valuation of Inspection points have not updated. I request your help to solve this problem.

Check the inspection plan, check for all the operation, by double clicking on operation you enter the opertioa details screnn, pls scrol down, you should have a field called VALUATION, select the option "automatic valuation option" .

Error during usage decision for Test Equipment

Hi,
I have completed results recording for Test Equipment using QE51N (results closed and confirmation completed). When I tried to make usage decision (QA11) for the lot the pop-up message shows as "Not all equipment is valuated! Do you want to force inspection completion. I also noticed that in equipment tab of qa11 code valuation column shows as Not Valuated.

HI,
You may try changing the valuation mode in IA06. In the inspection characteristic overivew, click on details -> operation, scroll down, you will find Quality management inspection points -> maintain automatic valuation based on inspection points.
The changes if made will be effective only for the next inspeciton lots.

Valuate the non-valuated QM characteristic during usage decision

Hi Guys,
I don't understand why during usage decision, system pops up the following message even though I have force the inspection completion on one particular inspection characteristic.
Valuate the non-valuated QM characteristics manually? Yes button and No button
After hits Yes button, another message appears...
Class characteristic QNNVM1 can be manually evaluated.
There are two inspection characteristics in this inspection lot, and one inspectin characteristic has been record as pass and accepted during result recording, while another inspection characteristic (which is a required characteristic on system setup) did not perform result record. Thus, during QA11, I force this required characteristic to inspection completion.
My questin is why the system gave me "Valuate the non-valuated QM characteristics manually?" message?

UOM Change during Usage Decision

Hi Gurus,
I am maintaining 2 UOM in the material master .
1) Kg
2 ) Tonne
I am purchasing my material in Tonnes . During Usage decision, I want to post my material in Kg.
I ] Is it possible to make the UOM change during Usage Decision.
II] Is it possible to use same inspection plan for the same UOM, In case of I am recieving the material by Kg or Tonne

You cannot normally change the UOM in the UD. You can only use the bas UOM. SAP however does have a note on using alternate UOM in the stock posting. It is not as seamless as you would probably like, but its the best you'll do.
The note is 605861.

With the import of the assigned Support Package or the implementation of
this note, a Business Add-In is made available with which you can program
an input help for quantities in the usage decision.
For example, this enables you to specify quantities for the stock posting
in an alternative unit of measure in the usage decision. Via a
corresponding BAdI implementation, you can call up a dialog box - in which
you can specify the respective quantity with the required unit - in the
usage decision when you use the input help (F4) for the quantity fields.
However, the quantity is always transferred in base unit of measure to the
stock posting.
The BAdI can only be used for stock-relevant inspection lots. You can only
enter the quantities in other unit of measures manually (explicit call of
the input help).
You can implement new BAdI QEVA_ALT_QTY_INPUT using Transaction SE19.
Take also the documentation on the BAdI into account.
You can transfer the BAdI definition together with the respective
documentation using the assigned Support Package.

Authorization Error in Usage Decision tcode

Hi All,
While giving the UD for an inspection lot, our user is getting an authorization error where in a different plant other than the plant related to the inspection lot and other master data is related.
I do not know if anything has gone wrong. Did anyone come across such an issue?

This is exactly the correct solution.
I believe you have done this setting in your inspection type which prevert Selected sets of other plant to pop up while doing the UD .
SPRO > QM > Quality Inspection > Inspection Lot Creation > Maintain Inspection Types > Inspection Types > Tick in Selected set in the same plant

Calibration: Error while taking Usage Decision (Urgent)

Hi Gurus,
I created one test equipment and installed it on some m/c and while doing calibration during usage decision if i reject the equipment it is giving me the error : equipment installed on superior equipment.
if i accept the usage decision system gives no error.
and it is customer requirement that their instruments should be installed on some m/c not on functional locations.
Please suggest the solution

Hi,
As per the SAP general process first you need to dismantle sub equipment from superior equipment for taking UD, since it is assigned with superior equipment System wil not allow for taking UD.

Usage decision related tables

Hi,
I do a usage decision for a inspection lot of 10 qty in QA32. I enter UD code A( accept) and quantity as 4 and save.stock gets posted. Again in QA32 I enter UD code as A1 ( conditional accept) for the same inspection lot and post remaining qty 6 .
In what table can I get qty as 4 and 6 for a given inspection lot. Kindly help.

Work flow for Rejections in Quality- Usage decision

Dear all
We are in the process of activating work flow for Quality Inspection, During Usage decision there may be rejections for which we need to trigger a mail to the Internal department , stating the Remarks, description, rejected quantity etc ,
If any one has come across the same scenario kindly help us so as to implement the same in our organization.

You can do any of the following according to you Requirement.
1) Below the Rejection Branch using the Send mail you can send the mail to Respective person.
2) Other wise using the Function Module you can send the mail, refer this l[ink|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/nYKdAw ].
3) Else place this Std. Task TS20000139 and provide the necessary binding below the Rejection branch a popup will open and the user can enter the comments and it will go to the Person whom you want.
Try any of this according to you requirement.

During usage decision, i have moved the stock to scrap by mistake , can you please tell me how to reverse the UD.
I tried through MB1B. The problem is we dont know in which storage location it is posted
Can you please suggest me , how to proceed.
One more issue.
I want to bring down the scrap field in inspection lot stock screen, how to do it.

To find material document no. :
1. if you know the lot number, you can use QA03 (Display lot) Tcode and click on the item mat doc. The doc no with type 3 assigned is your required material doc.
2. Goto MB51, and use movement type 553, material and plant and execute to get the material no.
To reverse from scrap to QI:
1. Activate insp. type 05 in QM view of material master.
2. Goto MB1A, use movement type 554 to transfet the quantity. Lot will be generated in QI, do UD and transfer the lot to unrestricted usage.

Quantity Of Sample Not Scrapped Afetr Usage Decision (Urgent !!)

We have many samples wich are not automatically scrapped during usage decision quantity still stays in sample area 046(Storage Type).
I don't understand why the samples are not scrapped.
Can I have your suggestions pls..or any user exits to handle this requirement or how I need to approach this problem to get the solution.

Error message during the usage decision

Dear Gurus,
While performing the usage decision in txn code QA11, i entered the relavant quantities in unrestricted-use.
Then when i tried to assign the UD code i am getting the following error message.
"You have no authorization for this catalog entry Message no. QS291"
But QA11 authorization is already there, apart from that which authorization is required.

Hi,
As the error message says Authorisation for Calatalg 3 and the related code group is missing.
When u get this message just run /nsu53 on your screen so you know which objects are missing. Maintain those vlaues or ask Basis to mainatin these values.

AFS-QM Error in stock posting performed by taking Usage decision

Hi all,
during stock posting with 105 mov type performed by taking Usage Decision (QA11), I faced with a strange system behavior, described beneath.
Previuos steps:
Purchase order creation
Partial Good receipt performed by MIGO, mov type 103 (Blocked stock from PO)
Automatic Creation of Inspection Lot
Error encountered:
If I take usage decision (QA11) for the inspection lot created, putting the stock checked in Unrestricted Use (correspondant mov type = 105), in the following good receipt (related to the same purchase order), the incoming stock available is less of the real quantity, previously accepted..
After some checks we understood that with 105 mov type the system doubles the real quantity previoulsy accepted, acting in the following manner:
Initial PO: 100 PZ
1° Good receipt: 30 PZ
(automatic creation of inspection lot)
If we take a usage decision, posting stock to unrestricted use (mov type 105), in the 2° Good receipt, the quantity available from the same PO is not 70 PZ (100 - 30), but only 40 PZ ! ! (100 - (30 * 2)) = 40
Please note that it does not occur if we post stock (always 105 mov type) with a MIGO transaction, so we are forced to think that the problem is strictly related to AFS-QM inventory posting, and not to 105 mov type or inbounding process.

I'm not familiar with the specific apparel and footwear solution but with regards to QM, if you are using the standard SAP delivered stock postings, it should use 105 to accept the material to unrestricted for the GR blocked.
I would first use MB51 for the material and batch and review all the material movement documents. Look at the trail of movements and try to see where the changes happen.
In your example, what did the unrestricted inventory and GR blocked inventory show as stock levels?
I'd also check OSS for issues related to AFS/QM. This is not new functionality in SAP so I would be surprised if this was an actual bug or problem in the system that hasn't been seen before.

Transfer Posting error upon u201CQM Usage Decision with WM HUu201D

I am switching from the SAP system u201CUsing MIGO with WM (no SU) and Inspection Lot processingu201D to a process using u201CInbound Delivery with WM-HU and Inspection Lot processingu201D.
For e.g. I have a material with 10 pcs packed in one HU, PGRd and putaway. Inspection Lot is created for the HU containing 10 pcs. I am ideally hoping to do Posting change of 6 pcs to Unrestricted (with underlying mvmt typ 321) and Transfer Posting of 4 pcs to Qty. for Sample usage (with underlying mvmt typ 331).
In QA11, when I select posting key u201CVMENGE01 To Unrestricted useu201D, I get the error message u201CHandling Unit is locked. No assignment possible. Message No. HUFUNCTIONS007u201D. (I donu2019t have any document open to cause locking).
When I select posting key u201CVMENGE03 Qty. for Sample usageu201D, I get the error message u201CHandling Unit is locked. No assignment possible. Message No. QHU17u201D.
Here is the status in u201CInspection Lot Stocku201D tab of QA11.
u2022     Inspection Lot Qty.: 10 pcs
u2022     Sample size: 4 pcs
u2022     Status for u201CHU Transfer Postingu201D is Green
I am currently doing GR first and then putaway. Though I am open to doing putaway and then do PGR, if that can help, in any way.

I did GR for 10 PCs with serial numbers. During QM, when usage decision, in the tab "Inspection lot stock", I input 8 PCs to the unres, 2 to blocked stock.
Upon posting, system pops up a Serial Number dialog showing "TF quality to unrest" with No. serial no is 10/8, and a list of 10 serial numbers.
I select 8 serial to post to unres. But still, the system keeps having error "Exactly 8 serial numbers must be selected (instead of 10)"...
This error is dur to
You have selected 28 to U/r & rest you want to put to Block.
so what system does is by default it will select first U/R qty which is 8.
While stock posting it is showing 10 Sr numbers.out of which you have to select 8 for U/R.
so only select those 2 numbers which you want to put to block...Click on delet(bucket)
now only 8 will remain which you wnat to put to U/R.
select all 8 and click on ok
save.
Rest of the 2 Sr number will automatically move to unrestricted.
This is how sap in UD works for Sr nos.
This will solve your problem.
