Error: E_ADEPT_DISTRIBUTOR-AUTH

I have just purchased a book that need for my studies. The bookstore told me that I need to download the Adobe Digital Editions to be able to view the book. Actually I planned to transfer it over to my Kindle, but that is beyond the point here.
I can't open the file on my normal machine, even... I keep getting this error and I really am at loss.
Please do help me on it. If possible also please explain how I can transfer that book later to my Kindle (via emial or otherwise).

Are you sure you are signing the URL/.acsm file correctly for those particular books?

    Hi Zia-ul-Hassan,
I renamed file auth-suppl.dat , that cleared the
warnings but didn't let me login to SunMC console,Do you know if that system crashed, or ran out of disk space? There may be more than 1 bad file left around. It often shows up as one of the SunMC Server processes constantly restarting itself (as shown in /var/adm/messages, or in the /var/opt/SUNWsymon/log/*.log files)
If the logs look OK another thing to try is to reset the security seeds on the Server:
    /opt/SUNWsymon/sbin/es-config -r
Then try logging in again after SunMC has restarted.

Re-keying issue? I dunno. The manual mentions Phase 1, and your log points to Phase 2, but maybe it's worth a shot.

Incidentally, how do you get logs off of the iPad?

  • Workflow Ends in Error " No auth to send IDocs with message type ORDRSP"

    Hello All,
I have created an RFC user with limited Authoprizations including WE* tciodes and a few ME* transactons for an ALE Set up. I want to make sure i would not be giving more authorizations (extensive) to this RFC user and assign Just required authorizations. So i started testing testing and the inbound IDOC ended in error with a message " No auth to send IDocs with message type ORDRSP" Message no. SR053. Is there any way to find out what is the missing authorization object for the User. Any inputs would be really apprecaited.
    Br,
    Sri

    Hi !
Becaus alle this happens in beckgound, things are a bit difficult but solvable....
What you should do is a "Authority trace" ... as follows....:
      - Go to the ST01
      - Mark "Authorisation Check"
      - Swich the trace on for your Workflow user
      - Execute the Workflow until the error uccurs
      - Go back to the ST01
      - Press the "Analyze" button and see what error occurs
Dont forget to swicht the trace off... otherwise the tracefiles become realle BIG !
    Regards
    rainer
Some Reward poins would be nice if that helped....

  • Mail Server Error - 21055: auth: Error: od?

    Hi,
Just upgraded to OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion, now my email services have gone AWOL.
The server logs are telling me  [DateTime domain.com] log[21055]:auth: Error: od (username, ip address): authentication failed for user=me, method=DIGEST-MD5
From a client (MS offlook) point of view I'm getting :
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
    Subject:    test
          Sent: 06/08/2012 19:09
The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:
          '[email protected]' on 06/08/2012 19:10
451 4.3.5 <unknown[ip address]>: Client host rejected: Server configuration error
This used to work quite well with Lion and the Server Admin Tools.
Is there anything I can try?
    Thanks in advance,
    Jeff.

Thanks for getting back to me red shift, everything is now up and working again.
I think it was somthing to do with some folder permissions and some mail settings.  The mail server GUI supplied with Mountain Lion is all but useless and didn't help in any way in tracking down or resolving the problem. So, I've taken the plunge and set up MailServ for Mountain lion, its a much better mail server GUI client, and seemed to correct some of my postfix settings.
I've tinkered a bit with command line mail stuff, but not quite at a level where I can fully administer it.
Are there any good command line resources out there?  This is somthing I need to improve on.
    Cheers.

  • CUA error: No auth iDoc msg type USERCLONE

    Hi,
I've set up CUA with SolMan as central system and XI as child.
After creating a user in SolMan i get the status "distribution unconfirmed" for XI in SCUL. The iDoc is green in BD87, however in SM58 i receive the error "No authorization to send IDocs with message type USERCLONE". Nothing changes when I try manual distribution. My error searching basically leads me to http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/18/89ef3bc8821d0de10000000a114084/content.htm, however the communication user that is used in the rfc SolMan->XI and XI->SolMan us setup according to those instructions.
    Furthermore:
    - Username and pass are the same in both systems
    - RFC connection tests works in both systems
Another thing that has happened is that when I create new roles in PFCG, they don't show up in the roles list in SU01.
    Anyone have any ideas?

Update: Issue resolved. Im using trusted systems with current user from SolMan to XI. I had however forgot to add the sapcuaclient role to my current in XI

  • Getting following error when trying to download ebooks: E-AUTH-BAD-DEVICE-KEY-OR-PKCS12

I AM TRYING TO USE A GLOWLIGHT I JUST PURCHASED, BUT KEEP GETTING ERROR: E-AUTH-BAD-DEVICE-KEY-OR-PKCS12.  Can you tell me what I need to do to correct this problem?

Some ebook sellers use the Adobe DRM mechanism, but rather than relying on the Adobe ID for authorization have their own Vendor ID (their own user/password).
You could be able to read your old books but not the new one if all the old books used the Adobe ID, but the new one used a separate Vendor ID.
Check with the ebook seller if you should be using a separate  Vendor ID.
ADE1.7.2 does not support different vendor IDs.  V2.0 does, but I am not sure exactly how to get it to do so.
The user guide says ' The best way to do this is to supply an Adobe ID or Vendor ID, associating the book with your ID.',
but doesn't say how to do this.

  • Error MBR1213 again, webmail locked out

Yet again, attempting to collect email is producing the error message AUTH MBR1213.
This appears to be produced by Yahoo rather than BT, but information appears to be non-existant.
Usually, I can still get my email by going to the webmail page, but this is now insisting I change my password because of "unusual activity". The activity was me trying to log in!
What does this error mean, and how can I access my email? If I do change my password, which is a complete pain, I'll only have to change it again next time the system falls over. How can I tell your system I am happy with the password I have?
What is wrong and when will it be fixed?

Can you login here and get your login history?
    https://login.yahoo.com/config/login?.intl=us&.src=ymbr&.partner=&.pd=&.done=https%3A%2F%2Fapi.login...
(using your email address and whatever is your latest password)
That should give you some actual record of who has been accessing your account from where.
It may give you an IP address and a location and a "type" of access - eg: browser or mobile device.
These are the sort of results you will get - "the yahoo partners application" by the way even if it isn't your own IP address. There are two records - one is the "location" record and the other is the IP address, just use the drop down to see each of them.
    and
It might give you something to explain why they are you are making you keep changing your p/w or perhaps confirm that it is due to a Yahoo! snafu, rather than a real security issue.
    Best luck.

    SQL> exec DBMS_NETWORK_ACL_ADMIN.ASSIGN_ACL('my_acl_email.xml','mail.mydomain.com', 25, NULL);

It appears that the SYS user is permitted by the ACL, but is somehow blocked access to mail.mydomain.com on the application server. Are there any Linux configurations that need to occur in implementing this process? Or, am I missing something in configuring Oracle. I'm using 11.2.0.1.0. This is my first time setting this up. Does the database need to be cycled down then back up for any of these settings to take place?

  • MIGO auth check

    Hello all,
In tcode MIGO, i want the authorization check to pass from a specific object, so as if the role has different values than these the user enters, it will display an authorization error.
    Auth Obj : M_MSEG_LGO.
    Thank you!

maybe your configuration doesn't imply checking the storage location. verify this by going to
SPRO --> Materials Management --> Inventory Management and Physical Inventory --> Authorization Management --> Authorization Check for Storage Locations.
check whether the storage location you want checked is flagged.

  • Webcal and webmail where Calendar and Mail use SSL but Web does not

I have Lion Serer 10.7.3 up and running. I have the same SSL cert in use for calendar, address book, and email, but not for web service. Calendar is running great via iCal.app and on iOS.
    1.  Trying to access the webcal at http://myserver.com/webcal returns a page saying "Calendar service is turned off. You can turn it on by using the Server app on the server." Accessing webcal via https://myserver.com/webcal fails when it redirects for authentication - the resulting page, gives me an apache 404 error that /auth could not be found - the url it is trying to reach is: https://myserver.com/auth?redirect=https://myserver.com/webcal/
There is a bit of a hack for this that I have discovered - I change the url to eliminate the https on the url, but leave it on the redirect:
    http://myserver.com/auth?redirect=https://myserver.com/webcal/
I can then authenticate and get into the calendar and it works as expected from there.
    2. Trying to access webmail via https://myserver/webmail fails with a page saying "Mail is turned off..." But it all works fine using the non-ssl connection.
If I turn off all certs, then it works fine. If I turn on all certs, it works fine. But turning on SSL for my website is not an option - it's a blog that does not need the extra overhead (and my certs are self-signed, making them look nefarious to most web browsers).
So, I am looking for suggestions on how to obtain access to webcal where the calendar server (and address book server) are using an ssl certificate but the web service is not.
Does anyone have suggestions on how to make this work appropriately, where the webcal and webmail are served on SSL protected connections and the Web Service uses an unencrypted, non-SSL connection?

    bump.
Anyone? It seems this question has been asked a couple of different times and in a couple of different ways (including here: https://discussions.apple.com/message/16100639#16100639).
    Thanks for your help!
