Error E8000050 Installing app

Hi,
I have been trying to install the Navigon Europe app I've bought through the apple store (directly from my iPhone, 3gs, 32gb) for days now.
First I've tried downloading it from wi-fi, but the download halted and restarted everytime at aproximately 2/3 of the progress bar (took hours too, since it's 1.7 gb download)
Then, I tried with iTunes (8.2.1, Windows). The app fully downloaded, but when it tries to sync to the iPhone, same thing: it stops at 2/3 of the progress bar, this time with an error code:
"E800050, Unknown Error"
I've also tried resetting and/or erasing my iPhone. No success...
Any hint?

Have you tried the steps in article http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1702 ? Reporting the problem to the particular application developer may be helpful, since it seems to be occurring with some apps.
Oddly, the article I found documenting the error doesn't seem related to the issue you're experiencing: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1266. Do you have a SIM PIN on your iPhone by chance?
Other than that, have you tried restoring your iPhone and setting it up as a new phone? More information can be found here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414 .

Error when installing apps: Cannot connect to iTunes store

I have a 3G and i've been able to download and install apps through the app store via iPhone. Recently, the iTunes store on my computer gives the error "We could not complete your iTunes store request. An Unknown error occured (5002)" anytime i search or try to download. Similarly on my iPhone i cannot download through the App Store ever since the computer store error, which i concluded to be a linked error. What is error 5002 exactly, and should I just reinstall iTunes to see if the error is corrected?

Have you updated to the latest version of iTunes and iPhone software, currently iTunes 8.0.1 & iPhone software 2.1.

When you double click on one of the downloaded apps in iTunes does iTunes say the app is missing?

Do you see the same issue after downloading FREE ON iTunes content and then syncing it to the iPhone? You can find FREE ON iTunes content by going to iTunes> iTunes Store> FREE ON iTunes near the bottom center of the page.

i have installed windows server 2003 (my hdd 350 gb - ram 3 gb )
i did every thing
but while installing APPs ( in chick system file system and utility system mark error)
RW-20012 and RW-20013 (error says no free space and saied also chick mount point)
although i have space
please help me

What is the exact application release and OS?
Please post the complete error message from the installation log files.
Also, please verify that you have sufficient space as per the installation manual.

Error when installing apps from OVI Store on my x7...

I have trouble installing apps from OVI recently. I pretty often get ``Installation error``. Ive installed the software update today Its still the same.
Any segestions ???

I would suggest you try and update to the latest Ovi Store, now called Nokia Store.
With your phone's browser go to the following address:
http://lr.ovi.mobi/store/new-symbian-3
you should then get the option to install the latest Nokia Store client, and this should include new QT files. Corrupt QT files are usually the problem when installations from the Nokia/Ovi Store fails.

Error when installing app updates on Win 7 64 Bit machine

I was trying to update to Photoshop CC 14.2 and I am getting an error.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app before I dug into the Error Log File. I got the error during the reinstall. The app installed, but the update did not.

RW-20004 no installs found for this host Error when installing Apps tier

Hello:
Trying to install 12.1.1 on a linux x64 OS. Following is my current OS Setup:
1) Have 2 Instances or RHEL 5 Update 4 x64 each named as follows: oalin12db.apps.local & oalin12mt.apps.local
2) Both have multi user setups as follows:
a) user: oracle (501), group dba (503)
b) user: applmgr (502), group dba (503)
3) Installation of DB node successful for a Vision Instance with SID=VISN
4) Getting error "RW-20004 no installs found for this host" on apps tier. Does not matter if I use host:SID:port or copy the actual config file over and point rapidwiz to it, I get the same error.
5) checked everything as per metalink notes 605677.1 and 444870.1.
6) SELinux on Permissive mode on both instances for now.
7) Installation stage directory is local to the DB instance and is setup as an nfs mount onto the apps tier.

Error during install Apps on Nokia X2-01

I tried before installing ebuddy messenger and it worked fine.
Just plugged my phone to PC and the nokia suite was already installed so when I click on the apps it installed and worked very good
now I have this error when I try install any apps and wont go through

The application are .Jad( should work with this platform)

SignTool Error when installing app

When trying to install my locally published app, I receive the following error:

I've tried the Create an appx file for sharing option, but get a similar error. How can I get this resolved?

Errors when installing apps

I have recently purchased a Mac Pro and experienced an initial issue when attempting to update iPhoto. It stated "An error has occurred" during installation/update. The Garage Band and iMovie appear to have installed fine. Since then I have attempted to purchase either free or paid apps and experience the same error during installation. I have 4 apps now that will not install. It appears that there is an issue during the initial download but I am not certain. I think this is something that has affected others but haven't seen a resolution except to phone support. I have attempted using the Option key and clicking on the Purchases and Updates icon's at the top of the window and still have an issue.

N8 System Error when installing apps

I'm continously getting a 'System error' message whenever I try to install some apps, such as Nokia Battery Monitor, Youtube Downloader and fMobi. This occurence only began recently after updating to Symbian Anna. I've installed many other apps and can still install other apps but I seem to have a problem with a select few. I have attempted to uninstall and reinstall the apps and also done a delete and restore after backup but still no change.

[iPhone] unexpected error (0xE800003A) - installing app to device

Hi, I'm running into the "Your mobile device has encountered an unexpected error (0xE800003A) during the install phase: Verifying application" error while trying to install and run my app on my iPhone
Here is what I've verified
[1]. On my iPhone, Settings->General->Profile shows the Developer Provisioning profile I created on the developer program portal.
[2]. In XCode, Info.plist has the bundle identifier set to "net.companyName.AppName" (AppId on the dev program portal is magicNumber.net.companyName.AppName"
[3] Keychain Access shows a "Apple Worldwide developer certificate" and a "iPhone Developer: FirstName LastName" certificate". for the iphone developer certificate, it also shows a "FirstName LastName" private key.
[4a]. In XCode, after clicking Info icon for the project Target, I verified that "Code Signing Identity" and the next row ("Any Iphone OS device") are set to "iPhone Developer: FirstName LastName".
[4b] "Code Signing Provisioning Profile" and the next row ("Any iPhone OS device") are set to the developer provisioning profile mentioned in [1].
When I do a clean Build, I get a dialog that asks "codesign wants to sign ............"
However, if I attempt to "Build and Go", I get the 0xE800003A error message mentioned above.
Does anyone have suggestions on what trouble-shooting steps I can take to identify and fix the problem
Btw after running into the device installation problem mentioned above, I'm now running into problems with the simulator as well.
After a clean build, I tried to run the app with Active SDK set to the simulator.
However, now I get a "Failed to launch simulated application: iPhone Simulator failed to install the application." error. So I'm not even able to run the app in the simulator anymore.
(Btw I have the 2.0 SDK on my Mac. My iPhone has 2.1 on it. I'm assuming that this is a supported configuration.
I haven't installed the 2.1 SDK because I want to make sure that my app only relies on the 2.0 SDK and can run on 2.0 iphones.)

Hi, I've answered this on another thread, but I'll repost here... I think I may have encountered a simpler solution.
Rather then edit the Info.plist directly, you can use XCode to do this for you. However, your mileage may vary, this is only what worked for me!
The docs seem to be missing a couple of steps.
After you have edited the build info for your application (accessed by selecting 'Targets > APP_NAME' and then hitting 'Info' in the Xcode main navigation bar) click the 'properties' tab of the Info panel. Here you should see a number of fields (Executable, Identifier, Type, etc...).
By default you will see the Identifier field populated with the following: *com.mycompany.${PRODUCT_NAME:identifier}*, by simply changing this to *+your.domain+.${PRODUCT_NAME:identifier}*, your.domain being the domain you entered when you created your provisioning profile, you should be good to go!
So for example, say your company is +acme.com+, change your identifier to:
*+com.acme+.${PRODUCT_NAME:identifier}*
If like me, you also have a wildcard provisioning profile (I named mine general), you might use something like this:
*+com.acme.general+.${PRODUCT_NAME:identifier}*
This, of course, relies on you having created an App ID named +com.acme.general.*+. This is the profile I use to experiment with the Apple example apps.

It is asking for message server because the profile you have mentioned is with the information about your host of the message server.It is trying to connect to the message server accoring to the information in the profile.
