Error EI 250 when processing corrections in Intrastat report

We have just set up the German Intrastat report. We run VE01 and get the list of documents. Then we go to the incomplete section to correct invoices without the VAT number and when we click (on those outside of Germany or Ireland) we get an error EI 250 saying "for country of plant, no entry mainained in object of declaration to Authority control/completeness".
I cannot find any documentation on this error code. Has anyone else ever had this error before or know how to correct it?

I still haven't found any documentation but what I did is end up creating an incompletion procedure for the countries of the plants we shipped from. Since it was for the German Intrastat, I copied the incompletion procedure for Germany so that it has all the correct data. This made the error go away.

Error Message appears when drilling down from a report.

Hi,
I am using CR XI R2.
I have an rpt file that displays a chart from a sub report.
I tested it on the CR designer and report viewer - works ok.
When I display this report in my .Net application, I get an error message when drilling down from this chart : "The Report Application Server failed"
When looking at the log files I see this error message:

This is a Viewer error - but when drilling down from the Report Viewer I don't get this exception.
Does anyone know what this mean?

Three ideas:
1) Install CR designer on one of the boxes where this does not work and try to run the report there
2) Add a line to your code and save out the report just after your database logon once ( .saveAs). try to run this report in the CR designer.
3) Use the [modules|https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100006252802008E/modules.zip] utility to compare the runtime - both CR and db client between computers that work and those that do not.

CE10 Enterprise error "Object Expected" when tyring to view a report.

I'm getting an error when I try to view a report connecting to Crystal Enterprise that states "object Expected".
However I can schedule the report and see the results so the ONLY problem is trying to view the report.
Now, I have searched these forums and I came across and thread with the title "CE10 - Automation server can't create object Error " and the person responding says "...Your solution might be in note #1216330".
So how do I find that note in these forums?

Symptom
In Crystal Enterprise (CE) 8.5 or 9 when ePortfolio is clicked on the Crystal Enterprise Launchpad, the following error occurs:
"There was an error retrieving data from the server: Automation Server can't create object."
Why does this error occur and how can it be resolved?
Resolution
This error occurs if a Hot Fix is installed under a user account that does not have sufficient rights to correctly install it. If this occurs, Enterpriseframework.dll is not registered with the operating system and Sessionmanager.dll is not loaded correctly.
To resolve this error message, do one of the following things:
" Log on to the CE server using the local administrator account and run the Hot Fix executable again.
- OR -
" Reregister Enterpriseframework.dll
To do this:
1. Log on to the CE server with the local administrator account.
2. Open Microsoft Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files\Crystal Decisions\Enterprise 9\win32_x86. Leave Windows Explorer open while performing the rest of this procedure.
3. Click 'Start', and then click 'Run'. The 'Run' dialog box appears.
4. In the 'Open' field, type "REGSVR32". Do not click 'OK' yet.
5. Drag Enterpriseframework.dll from the Windows Explorer window into the 'Open' field of the 'Run' dialog box behind REGSVR32.
You will see the following after you drag the DLL into the 'Open' field:

Error in QA when trying to generate any report (including vanilla ones)

We recently did a QA Refresh and I wanted to get BI Publisher working again in QA.

I went on the Report Server whilst running a report; we are not getting that far since - when you run a report you can see it being generated on the server
I've tried checking the settings for both inbound and outbound webservices and they seem to be OK.
Tried checking the BI UserName and Password and they seem OK.
Can login to the BI Publisher console.
I have all the XMLP roles..
Interestingly if I use a Siebel 'Thick' Client then I can run the report OK.
Any ideas?

Yes, I know this is an old post, but I’m trying to clean them up. Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?
This problem was solved in SP1 if you are still having this problem after applying SP1, then you need to contact CSS directly for support, they will work with you to solve this problem.

Some error had occurred when I published

When I updated my blog and pushed the publish, some error ocurred. it saying that /Web/RSS/iWeb/Sites.rss has error. How can I shoot this problem. I tried to clean Safari's ram, and also the VRAM, but it did not work.

We have a issue in intrastat reporting for GB.
we have 1 PO for which we did the following
1. GR in month of July , 101 movement
2. reversal in month of sep ; 101 Movement
3. GR in month of Sep ; 101 movement
4. Invoice posted in month of Sep .
Now when we run the intrastat report(VX99) for the PO we see the following .
1. There is entry in period 08/2011 for the value as per the GR in july.
2. when the report is run for 09/2011 we find one more entry as per the invoice posted in Sep.
Kindly advice if any one is aware of such a issue .
As per my understanding there should have been only the entrry for 09/2011 as per the invoice in sep.
Kindly correct me if my understanding is worng.

I have some doubts and comments
How is it possible that you reverse a movement of July in September?
SAP allows only posting in current and previous period. Hence you cannot have reversed the a JULY receipt in September.
You get an Intrastat entry for August, because you had no invoice in July and no invoice in August, but you have to report a movement latest a month after its occurance. If the invoice is not present then this movement is reported with the PO value.
You wrote you reversed it in September with 101 (usually you reverse with 102 movement), can this be the root cause to have it twice in the September report?
Before you execute Intrastat technically in SAP, you should already know about the procedure outlined by your government.
Usually cancellations/corrections have to be reported manually in a special form.

Inconsistent Errors when processing IDocs using custom Function Module

I am encountering a most perplexing error. Here is the situation.
We have a custom function module to update data in the EH&S system. We are having a bizarre error occurring. This is the basic processing of the function module:
1. IDoc data is read and loaded into an internal table.
2. Data is run through a series of checks to determine if the data is valid for entry into the system.
3. After validation we use function module C1F2_SUBSTANCES_READ_WITH_REF to read characteristic data for the substance. This data is used to validate whether current data exists to allow for loading of the IDoc data. (This is the step where the IDoc is receiving an error even if the data is valid. This only occurs if we are processing a large amount of Idocs and one IDoc contains valid data and another invalid data for the same substance. It occurs even if the Idocs are not processed in sequence. If individually processed or reprocessed after initial failure they pass. This is what is so confusing!) If it exists, a flag is set and the data is loaded using function module BAPI_BUS1077_CHANGE to modify the data.
4. If the flag is set to allow further processing, the function module C1F2_SUBSTANCES_READ_WITH_REF is used again to select different characteristic data for the substance. A similar validation process occurs and if it passes, data is loaded using BAPI_BUS1077_CHANGE to update and BAPI_BUS1077_CREATE to create new data.
Here is the situation:
When processing one valid record for one substance, the record loads successfully. When processing multiple valid records (all are valid) for one substance, they all load successfully. The problem occurs when attempting to load valid and invalid records for the same substance. Some times the program successfully loads the valid data (as expected). Other times, it will not load any records. It is not consistent!
The order of IDoc processing does not have an impact on the success of the load. Whether the valid or invalid record processes first does not have an impact on the success of the valid substance load.
Does anyone have ANY Idea of what is going on? I am clearing all fields in the function module before processing occurs. I cannot find what is causing the error to occur.

I have some further information. It seems that if data for a substance is sent in two separate Idocs, one with valid and one with invalid data, As long as the two IDocs are processed consecutively, they process correctly. If they are separated by IDocs containing other substance information, they fail.

IDOC - Web Service scenario gives errors when processing multiple IDocs

Hi,
I have an integration process defined in PI 7.1 that contains four major steps :
-     Receive DEBMAS IDoc
-     Call a RFC to get additional information
-     Call a MS Dynamics web service to retrieve the MS Dynamics customer account number via the SAP customer number (synchronous call)
-     Call a MS Dynamics web service to update customer info (asynchronous call)
This process works well when one IDoc is processed.
If however 10 Idocs are submitted, some updates are processed correctly, most of them are not (the find service call works perfectly fine). Sometimes 3 work fine, sometimes 1 (for the same 10 IDocs submitted)
I did a test with SOAP UI where in a test script I submitted the 10 update service calls and this works fine.
The error that is given in the adapter engine SOAP communication channel is :
Message processing failed. Cause: (415)Cannot process the message because the content type 'multipart/related; type="text/xml"; start="<45504935B855BA3ACA0EA2FD503BC60F>"; boundary="----=_Part_20_1319086528.1239082062538"' was not the expected type 'text/xml; charset=utf-8'.
I noticed in the message content that the SOAP calls that go wrong have two payloads attached, one for the Main Document and one for the XI Context.. The ones that are processed correctly only have one payload, the Main Document
Anyone an idea what the cause can be ?

Please check the transaction idx5 in PI system and see whether the IDOC status by double clicking on the corresponding Transaction ID.
I think this might be due to some invalid data coming from the source system

Well I spoke too soon.
The update was successful, but now I cannot connect to the 3GS data network.
Cannot get email and cannot open a page in Safari.

Email and internet work fine on WiFi.........no data using 3GS network.

I have regenerated Billing Application in CRM 7.0. From then I am getting a dump on Web UI . Error as below.

The URL http://hostname/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_ui_frame/bspwdApplication.do was not called due to an error.
The following error processed in the system: "syntax error in program /1BEA/SAPLCRMB_O".
This Dump does not occur every time. now & then I am getting the dump but not every time. mostly it comes when I process any thing for the first time on UI.
Please help me out to fix this dump. it is a standard program so we can not correct the program. Please let me know if there is any other way to fix this problem.

This is not a standard program, this is a generated program through billing engine. I guess you'd have to regenerate the program. Talk to your functional folks who created this.

urgh... just noticed my previous post said i have mountain lion... i meant that i have snow leopard. no idea why i messed that up!
anyway, i just tried reinstalling snow leopard from the usb key that came with the computer. Then, I installed software updates until it told me there were no more updates. After that, I tried the app store again, and it still is giving me the unknown error. really irked by that. may have to take it back to the apple store yet again, to see if i can figure out why the app store won't work.
