Error en Illustrator CS 2

Hola a todos
A la hora de abrir un ai que tengo en la carpeta de mi proyecto me salta el siguiente error "La operación causaría un cambio conflictivo en un elemento que ya está en uso" y después de dar a "aceptar" este otro "No se puede abrir la ilustración. No se puede abrir la aplicación de escritorio".
He pegado una copia del archivo en mi escritorio y funciona pero entiendo que esta no es la mejor solución.
¿Alguien sabe a que se debe?

En el archivo duplicado en el escritorio (correcto?) contiene una copia separada de la foto, posiblemente esta está vinculada (mira en la paleta de enlaces o vínculos), y también esté abierta o vinculada con otra aplicacción (Si?). Francamente con mas detalles posdríamos concretar un poco mejor las causas y soluciones. Otra alternativa es en Illustrator Guardar como, dale otro nombre y prueba a guárdarlo en otra carpeta, reabrela y comprueba si sigue dando ese mensaje.

Error compiling Illustrator CS6 plugin on Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite)

Hi @all,
if i try to compile a Illustrator (CS6) plugin on Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite) and use the MacOS 10.5 SDK, I get the following error:

Did anybody know how to solve this problem?

I'm surprised there's a 68K setting at all, given that CS6 had been on Intel architecture for so long. Have you had any luck since then?
I tried compiling the sample AI6 plugins with OS X 10.8 (I think) and it worked fine, although I wasn't able to make any headway because the loss of ADM made for a very, very steep learning curve. Anyway, fast-forward a couple of years and I have time again to give this another shot, hoping to use Xcode to build a Mac interface, but I'm having a different puzzling error. I'm on a late 2012 iMac now with Yosemite 10.10.3. I downloaded Xcode 5.1.1 and am using that (after my system automatically updated to Xcode 6) and am getting an error:
Carbon.h file not found
Is it just not possible to compile for CS6 under Yosemite?
I'd really, really appreciate any suggestions.

Why am I getting an insufficient memory error in Illustrator?

I am getting an insufficient memory message on my illustrator program when I try to work on a particular document.
I remember long ago when I used to install my programs on my Mac there were memory settings for the graphics programs.
Does the pc work the same way? I am really at a loss as to why this error is coming up. In 5 years of working in Illustrator on the pc here, I have not gotten this message before now.
Now I get a new laptop and suddenly I get these errors. I am using Adobe Illustrator CS4 14.0.0 on a new Dell Inspiron 6400 running Windows XP with the latest service pack and patches.
Is there a memory setting in the application I should be looking at?

you didn't mention about the job size do u working on small scale and about how much ram you are using currently, mostly these type of errors occurs when you are mutitasking and working on big file sizes in illustrator

Plug-in errors in Illustrator CS5 for Mac

I recently installed the Design Premium version of CS5 on my work computer. Everything was going fine in Illustrator until today, when I tried to add some older brushes, patterns, symbols to the presets folder. Now Illustrator is loading with tons of unknown errors, massive plug-in errors. I removed all but the originally-installed presets. I then tried reinstalling Illustrator, but that made no difference. Do I need to remove Illustrator and then reinstall it?
Time Machine is not working yet, due to this being a setup in progress. I am running permissions repair right now. Should I trash my prefs and start over there? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Yes, trash the prefs and also clean out the preset folders in both locations - your user hoem directory and the program folder. The program may have copied over stuff from the global dir to the user folder and custom library info may already be permanently added to the prefs, so it may be looking for something that is no longer there.

i dropped this illustrator file on my desktop but it would not open saying error 5.

if i must re install the complete creative suite master collection, do i trash the existing collection first and then

Howard you will want to install Illustrator not copy it from one computer to another. Please removed what you have copied and download a fresh copy of the installation files from Download CS5 products. If you need to locate your registered serial number it will be located at http://www.adobe.com/. Photoshop CS6 & 5 Errors and Illustrator CS6

Hi All,
Been asked by support chat to post this in here.
I am running Yosemite (and have been with no issues at all) with my Macbook Pro, and have had CS6 running and Photoshop CS5.
I am now getting errors with CS6 Illustrator and Photoshop, and also CS5 Photoshop. Indesign CS6 is working with no problems at all.
I've tried a few different things suggested by people, but I'm not very "techy" so for some the issue might be quite obvious, but to me I can't work it out. Apple support have said to speak directly to adobe .
I've attached 3 screenshots of the errors in order of Photoshop CS6 / 5 & Illustrator CS6 - any help of tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

Error in Illustrator CS4 on Vista 64: "Can't finish previewing. There isn't enough memory. ID = - 108

Please help: I have searched for this error and would appreciate any help or feedback. I am not the Illustrator expert. I build fast PC's, not design on them. I would especially like to know where a complete error code list resides.
Freshly assembled:
Intel Core i7
2 x 3GB DDR3
3 SSD HDD's
9800GTX+
I've done all the tips and tricks I can find. With paging file, and w/o. Scratch disk and w/o. Fresh reboot on PC, CS4 fully updated, Vista 64bit business fully updated. Aero off along with all visual stuff.
This PC is built to perform but will error out and I can't find the cause.
To create the error:
1. open new 'print document'
2. Create text: I use Blackoak Std 72 pt. Pick a word to type. I use 'Hello'.
3. Select and choose Effect > 3D > Extrude & Bevel. Set Extrude Depth to 500, Bevel: Complex 4, and Height to 40.
4. Object > Expand Appearance
5. Object > Path > Offset Path. Run 3 times one of each type (Miter, Round, Bevel). At this point there should be a lot of paths.
6. Window > Pathfinder > Unite
Total RAM usage never exceeds 3GB on the machine.

Just to mention a FRACTION of the many posts complaining about the Critical Memory Bug of CS4.
But do not worry, Adobe will sell you the CS5 (coming this April I think) instead of providing an update.

Unknown error in Illustrator CS6 - Never seen it before

I was opening up an illustrator document I was working on yesterday and encountered this error:
When I clicked "ok", the document did open, but all of the work I did on it yesterday was missing. Really hope it can be recovered somehow because I don't want to have to re-create it.

Hi Moluapple - thanks for the script! sounds promising but I've never scripted before - Is this script written in .scpt or .js or is this .vbs? (or any of the above?)
I've read that I can use a text editor to save the correct extension and then I can add it to my "/Illustrator CS6/Presets" directory, so I can run it within illustrator. Update Error on Illustrator

For a long time after an adobe update, when I opened Illustrator again, I recieved two error messges, one when the Illustrator title screen is shown while the other is when my file opens up. Here are the two:
After checking the update status, I realized that this was not Illustrator's updated version (16.0.0 when the latest is 16.0.2). So I checked for update again, but it still failed:
The error log showed this:

But I really had nothing else to install during the update. Is there something I can fix? Is the update really even necessary? This is given I can use Illustrator per normal, other than the pop-up error messages.

Errors downloading Illustrator CC updates

When I try to download the latest Illustrator update, It gets most of the way through, then I get this message:
Update Failed. Learn More.
When I click on the link, it opens another dialague box that says:
There was a problem updating Illustrator CC
For more information see the specific error below
Update Failed
Errors encountered during installation.(U44M1P7) More details.
When I click on "More details" it just opens up a directory on my Mac:
Macintosh HD > Library > Logs > Adobe > Installers
I have no idea what to do next. There are no further instructions. Can anyone help with this?
FYI, I am running Mavericks (10.9.1) on a MacBook Pro (2.53 GHz Intel Core i5) with 8GB of RAM

Why am I suddenly getting the dreaded "ID = 5000" error with Illustrator 5.5? I'm only using CC for Muse.

I only use Adobe Creative Cloud for Muse... no other option. I have CS 5.5 and am suddenly getting the "you do not have enough access privileges" error and can't save any illustrations. What the hell is going on with Adobe?

You could try to reinstall using the full three step way (otherwise strange things may linger):
Uninstall (ticking the box to delete the preferences), run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.

Printing Errors from Illustrator CC

I have been having intermitent firmware Error (900.43) on my new Lexmark MS510DN when printing from Illustrator CC. I have upgraded to the most recent version of the firmware and drivers for this printer. Also had this problem with a T642 lexmark printer. when this happens I can save and then open in Acrobat and will print but it I open in Illustrator the affect file will error out again. Called Lexmark and they checked printer settings and could not find anything wrong on the printer end. I am running on a Mac Pro running OS10.9.1. As I stated earlier this only happens every once in awhile and dont create the file any differently than any other.

Thank you Larry! I had suspected Fiery because of other issues we've had in the past, but figured since we'd recently updated everything (including Fiery) to the latest and greatest that the problems would dissipate. I'm so glad to hear it isn't just us!
In the meantime, I have some successful workarounds I'm using. They're not as simple as they should be, but it will get us by until Fiery decides to address this problem. Right now, I get better results when using Photoshop CC to repaginate or combine PDF before printing. It seems to be working!
