Error_Exception dump while opening the report in RRMX

Hi All,
When User trying to open the report Error_Exception dump is coming for few Info Providers. Please find attached dump for your reference.

Issue is res loved, We have analyze the short dump ,when loads were running and at that if time user executed the queries then that dump was occuring.

While opening the reports it gives error as " Failed to Connect Database".
In Some reports it gives error as "Unable to Load EUL item".
Then we check the Menu bar, Tool ----> Options --->EUL.
We found, it is giving Default EUL as blank.
Now it is not allowed to open any sheet as well as not allowed to create new report.

I have previewed the report using Preview external crystal report option and is running perfect.

Performance issue while opening the report

HI,
I am working BO XI R3.1.there is performance issue while opening the report in BO Solris Server but on window server it is compratively fast.
we have few reports which contains 5 fixed prompt 7 optional prompt.
out of 5 fixed prompt 3 prompt is static (it contains 3 -4 record only )which is coming from materlied view.
we have already use many thing for improve performance in report like-
1) Index Awareness
2) Aggregate Awareness
3) Array fatch size-250
3) Aray bind time -32767
4) Login time out -600
the issue is that before refresh opening the report iteslf taking time 1.30 min on BO solris server but same report taking time in BO window server 45 sec. even we import on others BO solris server it is taking same time as per old solris server(1.30 min).
when we close the trace in solris server than it is taking 1.15 sec time.it should not be intial phase it is not hitting more on database.so why it is taking that much time while opening the report.
could you please guide us where exectly problem is there and how we can improve performance for opening the report.In case the problem related to solris server so what would be and how can we rectify.

If this is happening with all the reports then this issue seems to be due to firewall or security settings of Solaris OS.
Please try to lower down the security level in solaris and test for the issue.

Dump while Executing the Report HINUINFU

Dear All
I am getting Dump while executing the T.Code - HRPBSIN_IN_INFU (HINUINFU). As per my Configuration it should update the IT0267 and the IT0582. While debugging the We found out that its updating the IT0267 internally. But while reaching to IT0582 its reflecting on the feature 40CEA and the T549D.
here we are having the Telephone Reimbursement for this i copied the Tax code SEXM to ZTEL and assigned to my wage type
I also maintaied this Subtype to the feature 40CEA.
Checked also the IT0582 and its subtype time constraint.
Still the the DUMP persisisting. Please provide the solutions if any of you come across with the same situation.

Rep-0756 problem facing while opening the report in 10g

Hi,
I am facing problem while opening RDF in oracle 10g.
I follow the next steps.
1. Open the RDF in 10g.
2. Open the PLL in report builder and compile that PLL and save in same path where report located.
3. reattach the library with RDF.
4. Close the RDF
5. Reopen the RDF and facing the error.
6. REP-0756- unable to open attached............
7. I set the report_path in Registry also where PLL exists
Please give me the solution for this problem

I am also facing the similar issue in reports 10g, I am keeping the .pll file in my local machine say c:\me\reports\xyz.pll. When I am opening this pll, I am getting the error REP-0756 though the path 'c:\me\reports\' is added to the REPORTS_PATH. Your suggestion resolved the issue.

Its running fine while executing via SE38 (foreground) but getting dump while executing from the background with same variant.

indeed, as you mention the ALV grid, there are some workarounds in the system, but there is no global solution. For example, the function module REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY detects internally whether it is called in background mode, and in this case it forwards the call to REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY which is runnable in background mode, since it creates an ABAP list.
But normally, when using objects of the control framework in your program, you are restricted to dialog mode.

Discoverer Desktop 10.1.2 error while opening the report.

Hi ,
Do you know why I would be able to open a report from a Discoverer Plus responsibility in Oracle Financials but not from Discoverer Desktop?
The report was owned by User1 and shared with both Admin1 and AdminUser1. I have tried accessing the report with both user names, and in both cases, I get the error shown below when I am logged into Desktop but I do not get the error when I log in through the application.
Error message:
Join configuration cannot be resolved. Reason: more than 1 of the detail folder uses non-aggregated items

Shot dump while opening the Infopackage

Hi Guys,
In Testing system. i have first started a Init load but it got fail. So the messge it gave me is to replicate the datasource.and i did replicated and activated the trasferstructure.
After that when i want to open the IP to re init again its going to "Shot Dump" and Its not allowing me te create a new IP and not allowing me to open the other IPs for this datasource.0FI_AA_12.

User getting error while opening the report

Admin can run the report, but users cannot.
This is XI3.1 Cluster version on Linux. User's cannot run the webi document, getting the error below
An error occured when trying to set preferences. Please contact your Business Objects administrator. (Error: INF)
Also when the users try to set the preferences they get this error
An error has occurred: Sorry, you do not have the right to 'Edit objects' (ID: 6) for 'linwe' (ID: 18496663). Please contact your administrator if you require this right.
It looks like it might be issue with the rights, but can't figure out where.
These users are in the developer access level where they have almost all the rights.
Please help

inorder for the users to change their preferences, following right must be enabled
Access Levels --> select the ACL and go to included rights
Application --> Infoview -->Change user's preferences
Can you check whether it is enabled or not?

Prompting for the database logon while opening the report in CMC

I created a report and saved in the Crystal server 2008 repository. I set the default Database configuration as
report > Schedule > Database Logon > set password
or tick "Use same database logon as when report is run" in Default Settings > Database Configuration.
But when I am click on View for the report still it is promting for the database loging name and password.
is there any other settings required for this.

Short dump while opening the infopackage............

Hi,
I am getting Short dump. This happens when I am opening any info package for one Infosource. I am not getting any error when I open other infopackages. There are 7 infopackages for this info source and when I open any of these , gets Short Dump with message ...
" The current application program detected a situation which really
should not occur. Therefore, a termination with a short dump was
triggered on purpose by the key word MESSAGE (type X)."
Has any body faced similar problem. Please let me know your ideas on , how to solve this short dump.

When you delete the update status of a request in an InfoCube, short dump
MESSAGE_TYPE_X occurs in program RSBLOGSTATE
You can use the attached program as a correction to check for data inconsistencies and to correct them.
Input parameter:
i_tablnm: ' ' all 'PSA' tables are processed
             '/BIC/B......... ' a special table
i_repair: 'X' data with Partno = 0 are corrected.
             ' ' Check whether data with Partno = 0 exists
i_debug    'X' Activation of default breakpoints
To implement the program, you must create the SAP_PSA_ZEROCORRECT program as an SAP advance correction, leave it empty (Package: RSDD) and then implement it using Transaction SNOTE. Alternatively, you can create the program using the CUT and PASTE method.
If you want to check or correct all tables, you should schedule the program in the background since the runtime (in particular for repairing the tables) may be very long.
In the spool output of the job, you also find the log of the program.
You should first check in check mode whether there is inconsistent data. If this is the case, you must execute the program with i_reapir = 'X'. SAP recommends that you create a variant for the CHECK job and a variant for the REPAIR job.
