Good Day!
When i am trying to apply my XSLT script to XML Viewer, I'm getting the given below error :
"Failed to apply XSLT to the content".
Kindly need your help.

According to your description, my understanding is that the error occurred when you applied XSLT script to XML Viewer web part.
This issue may be caused by a recent published security fix for the .NET Framework 3.5.1.
For SharePoint 2010 there is now a re-released fix out to resolve the problem.

I book a book via the iPad. The book appeared in my library no problem with the "new" tag and stuff, but when I tap it to read I get an error "failed to load book because the requested resource is missing." Any ideas? I'm on the road, so I haven't synced or backed up or anything..
I've also verified that I have a good connection, etc. I'm able to hit the "store" button and browse the store no prob, as well as web, etc.
Any thoughts?

I believe I may have the answer to these many concerns.
When a book is over 20 or so megs, iBook will sometimes make an attempt to download on the iPad (when it should not). This causes problems. Perhaps the one you are experiencing. Therefore you have to wait until you are on a wifi connection before purchasing dictionary-like books. But if you've already made the mistake of downloading, theres no guarantee wifi will correct this.
What worked for me (like others have already mentioned) is that if you have an iphone or touch you can download it from there, sync with your computer and sync your iPad later. The book(s) will transfer just fine as long as you have this enabled on your devices.
Initially this didn't work for me because in my frustration with a prior issue I took the liberty to create another iTunes account. Therefore iPad purchases were not visible on my phone. So be sure to have the same accounts activated on your devices and iTunes.
Yet even further diagnostics may need to be explored as I'm still prompted to provide my password every time i open iBooks (as if the download is still pending). Kinda afraid to revert to factory settings over a small issue. In the coming update Apple should fix these problems altogether. Hope this helps!

I have an application using CR XI R2, and on certain users computers when they try to run a report they get the following error:
Failed to retrieve data from the database.Details: [Database Vendor Code: 229]Failed to retrieve data from the database.Error in File C:\DOCUME1\turkj\LOCALS1\Temp\WhseEmpJobAndActivityByUserAndDate {22DA2F53-4391-4307-9F2A-0E3C3EBE2198A}.rpt
The report uses SQLOLEDB (ADO) and integrated authentication - it runs fine on the development machine.
I found very little info on this error on the web (google) - so I hope someone here has an idea.

You need to make sure that those systems can get conneted to the database that is supposed to return data. To check that create a udl in clients machine.
Also do not change the schema of he report.

Best way to apply XSLT to the payload

Hi, I'm new with webservice and esb. I've successfully deployed a webservice based on EJB 3.0 in jdev10, and try to figure out how to apply xslt to the soap payload. I made a web service proxy and it works fine too. What should be the next step? Do I need a jsp page, xslt file and write some code to do the transformation? Where could I find some sample code/tutorial on this?

well the reason ask is because the last time i tried it on the heat sink and stuck the heat sink on the cpu, the grease gooped over to the other parts of the cpu it's not supposed to be on. so i removed the heat sink, cleaned everything up and then applied to the cpu on the die, smoother it out and stuck the heat sink on and clamped it down. when i removed the heat sink, it look all nice and pretty and not sloppy.
didn't know if you guys had any other ideas. of course, i didn't know how much actually needed to be applied. so i'm thinking i might have put too much on in the first place

It happens when i submit any document for conversion to PDF or when i try to convert PDF to text.

OK, i had the same problem and there was the follwing reason for this effect.
Before I installed the PDF Gen I had a Adobe Reader 8.0 installed. The installation check showed that it seems to finish correct bur in fact there have been missing some elements of the Acrobat which is part of the PDF Gen installation.
I uninstalled, PDF Gen, uninstalled Adobe Reader and reinstalled the PDF Gen. Than it worked perfect out. Thanks to Adobe Support who helped me out to get the thing resolved.
So according to the manual it does not say that it is not allowed to have a Reader installed before. Infact no Acrobat product should be installed before installation of PDF Generator

WebClient Error - Failed to log on to the comm. mgmt. software

Hi, following the CR410 i have created a webclient profile/ framework, and assigned the profile to an org unit.
now when try to open the webclient using crm_ic, i am getting the above error on the IDES system.

Have you configured CTI with IC WebClient? If yes under IC WebCLient profile look for CONTACTCENTER function profile and enter correct profile.
If you do not have CTI in place make sure that CONTACTCENTER entry is blank under IC WebClient profile.

PE dism error - failed to get and initialize the PE provider

This all started with: Win 8.1 could not be installed. error code 0X8007003. I ran DISM successfully with the /RestoreHealth flag, but it made no difference to installing Win 8.1. I ran DISM again (successfully) and looked at the log for "fails".
The repeated fail was:

WIM format changed in Win 8.1. You need to use the DISM from the ADK from Windows 8.1. Older versions of DISM cannot service drivers or packages for example.

Link v1.1.1 sync error: Failed to commit changes to the device

Hi,
I've been trying to sync my Q10 with Outlook for many times now without much success.
PC OS: Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit
Q10 OS: 10.1.0.2309
Outlook 2010 32 bit
BB Link: 1.1.1.26
Steps:
Q10 completely clear - no contacts, no calendar entries
Start BB Link
Connect Q10 via USB cable
Click Q10 tab, Settings
Synchronization - Contacts & Calendar - Configure
Select Outlook account
Click Sync Contact & Calendar
(after couple of minutes) "Sync unsuccessful" is shown, click on it
Error message reads "Failed to commit changes to the device"
Click PC tab
Click Create Log
in SyncLog.html, the error message near the end of the file reads
11:47:36.369 CBBTransBase::Close - Failed to commit changes to device record store
11:47:36.369 Error Information: 18022 Failed to commit changes to device., File: .\BBTransBase.cpp, Line: 427
Back on Q10, contacts are synced OK, but none of the entries appear in Calendar.
Any help will be very appreciated. Thanks.

Smartview Error: Failed to save data on the worksheet

Has anyone gotten a Smartview error when saving a spreadsheet of: Failed to Save data on the worksheet?

There is an error in cached information for id ************** The content is not yet available to download.

What does that actually mean?
Plain bundle (a single file copy + launch executable)
But it does not run on a client to which it is assigned

I've used this same iTunes account multiple times to back up phones and restore them when I've gotten new devices. I have restored this device as well once before, but i want it as up to date as possible becuase I am getting the iPhone 6 tomorrow. I've run a diagnostics test and under the connectivity test its saying there is no iPhone found, as well as under the sync test. I've gone through all the steps and what the possible problem could be (un-installing and re-installing, making sure all the software is active and up to date on my computer and making sure everything is installed correctly and running properly) and I'm still getting the same error message. I'm out of options and idea. Please help!

Error / Failed to create file in the network

I'm using and enjoying the Oracle Data Integrator and created two packages for extraction and loading. But trying to create the file in the directory on the network get an error. I checked the permissions, but without success. Can anyone help me? Thanks.
The error message is as follows:
"cp: cannot stat `/mnt/ceaurpasd1-APCEA-output/mfp_pln.csv': No such file or directory
ls: cannot access ORDWSJ0005_M*: No such file or directory
cp: missing destination file operand after `ORDWSJ0005.txt'

Can you provide with more information on how exactly you are trying to create a file on network driver? Did you create interfaces and call these two in the packages? or are you using OS commands? KM you are using?

Failed to retrieve data from the database Error

I had some reports setup in Crystal XI based on a Sql server but recently we had an upgrade, the database has been moved to IBM Informix.
There is a certain table that seems to be causing the problem.
The error:
"Failed to retrieve data from the database
Details: 42000:[informix][informix ODBC Driver][informix]A syntax error has occured .[Database Vendor Code:-201]".
I run the same query in MS Access and it seems to run fine.
I even tried to do a simple dump of the table onto Crystal but no luck.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
It seems your ODBC Driver is not compatible, try to download a driver which supports Informix through CR XI. I think you may have to download Data Direct Drivers 5.1 version to access Informix data tables through CR XI.

Failed to retrieve data from the database error message

Hello,
I have a fairly simple report that correctly retrieves the data from the database providing that there are no selection formula.
However, as soon as I add the record selection formula:
{fireService.serviceDate} >= DateTime (2009, 10, 3, 0 ,0 ,0)
I get the following errors:
Failed to retrieve data from the database
Cannot determine the queries necessary to get data for this report. Details: An invalid range operator has been encountered.
However, when I use the Database / Show SQL Query option and copy the query directly into the sql query analyser it works perfectly.
Any ideas?

I am using a table to select the records from.
In fact it is a series of joined tables.
The SQL Query generated is:

It looks complext but is not. Most of these joins reference lookup tables.

and Remove code from there till last and save it, it happens when we are moving Package from one server to another server. and VS adds some lines of code at the bottom of package
