• Error in fcc to db scenario

hi experts.
i got a problem in fcc to db scenario.
everything is working.
in the runtime workbench also no error regarding adapter monitoring.
still it could not pick up the file from input directory.
why this is happened and where it went wrong.

Hi,
>>in the runtime workbench also no error regarding adapter monitoring.
still it could not pick up the file from input directory.
You have to to do Monitoring in Communication Channel Monitoring not in Adapter monitorin!!!!
Click on RWBCompo MoniAdapter Engine--CC Monitoring
Just select your CC from the list and say Filter, now you will be able to see the Messge

• Mapping error in file(FCC) to rfc scenario

Hi,
i am trying to implement mapping in file (fcc) to rfc scenario. the source file is getting picked up, but the problem is arising during mapping. i am unable to generate the target structure. i am attaching mapping structure as follows
Source Structure                           Target Structure: RFC
storesales                                     -POSDW-CREATE_TRANSACTIONS_EXT
recordset                                      it_transaction
gmd_site_101                                 item
gmd_site_102
gmd_site_103
gmd_site_104
here the recorset is mapped to item, and fields of subnode gmd_site_101 is mapped to fields of subnode item. similarly, for the other subnodes. but when testing with xml file, the target field is not getting generated. in FCC parameters, ignorerecordset name is set to "true".
any help would be very helpful..thanks in advance.
warm regards,
kartz

hi
You can test the data using payload from SXMB_MONI in message mapping test tool so as you can get to know the reason of failure.
It would be better if you paste the error you are getting over there.
Check if you have maintained the namespace in CC or not. it should be same maintained if you have kept namespace in message type.
Also check in FCC parameters you must have used ignoreRecordsetName = true

Hi,
The error was saying that.. the no of fields you are getting in the source are diff from that you have mentioned in FCC.
Can you just copy and paste the source csv file? and the exact XML structure?
Regards,
Swetha.

• FCC to FCC

Hi Experts,
we have scenario FCC to FCC (split into two Tabdelimited files)
the source structure is:
Number Name Mode
1           Fin     001
2           mak   002
3           sale   002
Target message 1:
Number Name Mode
1           Fin     001
Target message 2:
Number Name Mode
2           mak   002
3           sale   002
we are trying split the source message into two text files based on the mode value ( if mode =001 and if mode = 002)
Please explain the structure should look like in the Datatype definition and conversion parameter values for sender and receviers.
Thanks in advance,
MK

If you have not deleted the old file schema, then it should have been work but it seems to be theissues with the link between interface and model .
I cannot say this is the actual reason but it might be. Since you have draged the file datastore to interface, interface is probably pointing to old schema and file model is pointing new schema.
I guess you have to recreate the interface again. Let me know how it is going with you

• Error in file-file scenario: HTTP response contains status code 503

Hi folks,
I've encountered the foll error in file-file scenario:
Testing file-file scenario (followed the blog: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/xi/flatFILETOFLATFILE&)
Initially i was hving problems with recvr comm channel, which are now resolved. File is sent successfully but not recvd. I tried to modify the scenario above and change the file type to 'Text' but still got the same error.
I've checked SICF -->default_host/xi/engine , we dont maintain logon data there. when i test the default_host/xi/engine service, it resolves into an ip addr as follows:
http://<hostname>.<domain.com>:8001/sap/xi/engine?sap-client=<clientNo>
(Also, we hv a BW system running on the same server ,which uses a fully qualified domain, while we dont which is why we get the above domain. Im not sure if there are any issues with that.)
and we get the foll error:
Error Code 10060: Connection timeout
If i remove the domain manually, im prompted for userid/pwd and get the foll result:

Hi ,
Look in to this for all errors
/people/krishna.moorthyp/blog/2006/07/23/http-errors-in-xi
The server is currently unable to handle the request due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. The implication is that this is a temporary condition which will be alleviated after some delay. If known, the length of the delay MAY be indicated in a Retry-After header. If no Retry-After is given, the client SHOULD handle the response as it would for a 500 response.
Note: The existence of the 503 status code does not imply that a server must use it when becoming overloaded. Some servers may wish to simply refuse the connection.
Possible Tips: Because of J2EE application com.sap.aii.af.ms.app not active
• Try to (re)start the application using the Visual Administrator Choose Server --> Services --> Deploy --> View on Application or restart the J2EE engine
• The problem is that not all J2EE services can be started by the J2EE. i.e Start the Visual Administrator and select Server->Services->Deploy in the tree on the left. On the right-hand side, choose the Runtime tab page. You see a tree in the right window with all applications if you select the APPLICATION radio button. Check if they are running, otherwise choose Start. Usually the J2EE engine starts all services automatically.

• Error in Receiver FCC: Unknown structure ... found in document

Hi Experts,
I have a problem with the Receiver File Adapter. I want to use Content Conversion to generate a plain file.
Input to receiver file adapter:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<PlainFile>
<filename>filename.txt</filename>
<line>Line 1</line>
<line>Line 2</line>
</PlainFile>
Wanted result: a file filename.txt with this content:
Line 1
Line 2
FCC settings:
RecordSet Structure: line, filename
line.fieldSeparator:'nl'
filename.fieldFixedLengths:0
filename.fixedLengthTooShortHandling:Cut
Problem is: the adapter throws error "Message processing failed in XML parser: 'Conversion configuration error: Unknown structure 'PlainFile' found in document'"
If I use:
RecordSet Structure: PlainFile, line, filename
and add:
PlainFile.fieldSeparator:'nl'
... the lines are printed, but also the unwanted filename. The XML input results from an 1:n mapping, therefore I want to set different filenames by variable substitution from the payload.
Many thanks for your help,
Ralf

Since you want to the filename to be sent in the payload, check out the below Variable Substitution Method. This information is available in help.sap.com.
Advanced Tab Page
Variable Substitution (Target Directory/File Name Scheme)
If you set the Enable indicator, you can enter variables for the Target Directory and File Name Scheme. Enter the names of the variables and references in the table.
● Enter each variable that you reference in the Target Directory and File Name Scheme fields without the surrounding percentage sign under Name of Variables in the table.
The variables can refer to attributes of the message header or elements of the message payload.
○ If the variables are to refer to an attribute of the message header, add the prefix message: to the name of the variable under Reference. You can specify the following attributes of the message header:
sender_party, sender_service, receiver_party, receiver_service, interface_name, interface_namespace,
message_id (message ID with hyphens, for example 9fbe1ff1-9a0d-11d9-8665-cbf10a126331)
message_id_hex (message ID in hexadecimal format, for example 9fbe1ff19a0d11d98665cbf10a126331)
For example, if you want to specify the interface name from the message header in the target directory or in the file name scheme, enter message:interface_name as the reference.
Note
If one of the message attributes contains characters that are not permitted in a file name, for example \, /, :, *, ?, ", <, >, |, then these characters are replaced by an underscore ("_").
○ If the variable refers to an element in XML schema, add the prefix payload: to the information under Reference. The reference then comprises a pseudo path description in the form of a comma-separated list with the schema namea,na,nameb,nb,....
namea,nameb,... corresponds to the element name and na,nb,... corresponds to the occurrence of the element name at the respective level in the document.
The description begins at the root of the document and ends at the respective element.
Example
To reference the element that is in bold in the example, the following expression is used: payload:root,1,e1,1,e2,2
The parser searches for the first occurrence of the root element at the first level. It then searches for the first occurrence of e1 at the second level and for the second occurrence of e2 at the third level. The content of the last element (“Example Value”) is set as the value for a specified variable.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
<root>
<dummy>
<e1>
<e2>Data_1</e2>
<f/>
<g attr="abc">text</g>
<e2>Data_2</e2>

<e2>illegal/value</e2>

How to define the source structure and the respective FCC Parameters.
Regads,
Varun

Hi,
For Mapping I require B and C Records. Field Separator is Pipe | symbol
I need to Ignore A B C Z
two statements are ambiguous.
I assume u want only B and C records.
Since the structure is little complex, u can gat the whole record as a single element into Mapping and then u can take only those u want to access and map.
MT_Name
Records
Data(0..unbounded)
Now in Data u have all the records.
If you dont want at all these A and Z records to come to mapping(IE) then u need to go for a small adapter module.
Deploy it and use in the modules sequence...

Hi,
I think all your configuariotn looks right.
Regarding your .txt file:
Check that there is no blank lines before your first record.
Also, that your records begin in the first column,
and also that there is 'nl' between your records.

If you only specify a value for NameA.fieldSeparator, the system expects a string containing the
names of the file columns in the same format as the file rows. This means that the same separator and
any additional strings you specify for NameA.endSeparator and/or NameA.beginSeparator are expected.
