Error for datatype mismatch or wrong data in XML to database ODI interface

Hello All,
I am doing XML to DB mapping in ODI. but when there is any mismatch in the datatype between source and target or any data issue, ODI is not showing any error for that. it is just inserting the data in the DB from XML up to that erroneous record without any error message.Could anybody please help, how can I get the error message for the same, from ODI when I execute that interface?
Thanks in Advance!

no I could not find any records in the error table i.e E$_X table.

  • Bex Error for a particular set of data

    Hi Gurus,
I have strange problem going on with my report, i have report which has variable
for fiscal period (we can enter like 001/2007), the reports runs fine for 001/2207
and 002/2007 but fails to run for 003/2007. i have data in the cube for that
        fiscal period.
Please suggest a solution for this.
    Thanks a ton..

    Hi,
Check for the fiscal year variant value for that  fisal period 003/2007in the cube is it same as that of othertwo values of the fiscal period.
May be at the report level or at the cube level you have restricted the values of the fisacl variant for a particular value and for that variant value there is no fiscal period of 003/2007.
Also it may be possible that your report key figures are restrcited year to date... that is till current fiscal period only through some other way.. and thats why you can only see data till current fiscal.
    Hope it helps
    Thanks

  • Importing form data per XML - Using the form interface?

    Hi!
I'm developing interactive forms by adobe and I want to import my form data per XML file. The xml file and the email are created by my pdf document.
Now this xml file has to be parsed by a report or something like this.
Is it possible to use the form interface, I implemented, or do I have to parse it manually?
I think it has to work with this interface because it makes the pdf and it "knows" what to import/export.
Am I wrong with my suspicions or can you help me with this problem?
    Thanks & greets,
    Philip Gillißen

I'm pretty impressed of Adobe and their stuff (I do NOT refer to the community), how helpful they are.
Perhaps I didn't understand  the meaning on the offical customer support website, stating:
The best way to contact us...
    Ask our experts
Our community and staff are at your service 24/7
Even worst, their is a similar question from 25/09/2013 (http://forums.adobe.com/message/5711946#5711946) and no feedback form Adobe stuff at all.
    Great service guys!
    Thanks a lot!

  • Payment Run (F110) error for MT103 - BFIBL02-303 - Bank Data is incomplete

    Hi,
I'm trying to do a foreign vendor payment run in F110. We have a payment method type Z for these vendors, and FBPZ I have this payment type set to use the Payment Medium Workbench (PMW) with MT103 format.
When I run the proposal I receve the error message BFIBL02-303 - Bank Data is incomplete (Bank country  , bank key  ). Looking at the MT103 produced I thought it was due to the vendor bank details missing, but I've checked the vendor and they aren't.
I've tried to dig around in the code a little and notice that the 303 error message is produced in LFPAYM_SWIFT01 in Form FILL_BANK_FIELD (Fills bank fields (S.W.I.F.T. fields 52, 53, 54, 56, 57)), which looks as if it is our (the sending) bank details that it is failing on, though I can't see why.
    Does anyone have any ideas?
The MT103 produced looks as follows:

    Hi
Check in tcode FBZP for the payment method for this country, in the screen for required master record specifications. You might have bank details. After, in the settings for country (SM30/V_005_B 'Country Field Checks') check the values for this bank. In the data for vendor you need data for bank, in in required master record specif. you need bank data. If you have the SWIFT maybe you have to populate it in vendor.
    I hope this helps you

  • EWA alert report for java system shows wrong data

    Hi,
In our solman system, EWA alert reports are configured every week for all the production systems (both ABAP and JAVA). Recently oracle database was upgraded from 10g to 11g in all the production systems. The EWA alert report for ABAP systems is correctly taking the 11g database details and is suggesting parameter changes. Unforunately the EWA alert report for Java systems is still pointing to 10g database and is suggesting the parameter changes for 10g only but the systems are on 11g.
In SMSY, the database of the java systems is maintained as 11g only and not 10g. STill we are not sure where the data is being fetched from.
Please help me in finding the issue.
    Regards,
    Ragav

    Hello,
iNote 1482818 would be iapplicable if not java checks are being made. You are not reporting no java checks, you are reportijng the check is being performed, but has the wrong value. When you updated the database dis you perform Solman_setup, Mnaaged system setup?
The reason I ask s that is what prepares the java side for EWA. For isntance if you had on old version of ST-SER such as 700_2008_2 then it does not know about Oracle 11.2....but that is on the ABAP side, you would need ST-SEr 701_2010_1 to
recognize ORacle 11.2 on the ABAP side.
So while I am not 100% sure in this specific instance, it seems logical that if the Java side isn't recognizing the Oracle Database version ( which means it is making this check) then you may need to run the Solman_setup, Mnaged system setup to pick up the ability to detect a new version of Oracel on the Java side.
It is certainly worth the try.

    Paul

  • Wrong data in XML output of dunning letters

When changing the output format for concurrent program: "Dunning Letter Print from Dunning Letter Generate" to XML the following output occurs.
    Parameters setting:
    Order by "Customer"
    Dunning as of date "14-NOV-2007"
    Letter set low "STANDARD"
    Letter set high "STANDARD"
Customer low and Customer high are filled with same customer name.
    Dunning method "Staged Dunning"
Single staged letter "Yes" or "No" (no difference in output!)
    Preliminary "No"
    The following oupt is generated:
    <?xml version="1.0" ?>
    - <!-- Generated by Oracle Reports version 6.0.8.26.0 -->

    <SEND_TO_ADDRESS1>F_send_to_address_1</SEND_TO_ADDRESS1>
    <SEND_TO_ADDRESS2>F_send_to_address_2</SEND_TO_ADDRESS2>
As you can see most of the data fields are "fieldnames" like F_send_to_address_2 while an proper address was expected.
For all dunning letters I've tested the same output occurs each time.
However when I change the parameter Preliminary to "Yes" (a list is printed) the output is good. But I want this also for a single dunning letter.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
    Kind regards,
    Koenraad

    Thanks Gareth,
    For your quick reply.
I've seen a second group (second top level element) and it seems to be the right data.
    This might work, tanks,
    Koenraad.

  • EWA Report collect the wrong data

    Hi all
Our EWA Report can not collect data perfectly
    It says that
When we checked the log files of the archive runs, we detected that your archive strategy does not follow the SAP archive recommendations.
In the time period from 28.04.2009 to 25.05.2009 , we noticed the following problems:
    - There was neither a successful archive run nor a successful off-line backup on Friday 22.05.2009
    - There was neither a successful archive run nor a successful off-line backup on Thursday 21.05.2009
    - There was neither a successful archive run nor a successful off-line backup on Wednesday 20.05.2009
    - There was neither a successful archive run nor a successful off-line backup on Tuesday 19.05.2009
    - There was neither a successful archive run nor a successful off-line backup on Monday 18.05.2009
There are 5 working days without successful archive run this week.
In fact, the backup run smoothly, for that period. I think the system read the wrong period. On 5 May - 6 May 2009, backup error but from 7 May until now, backup run smoothly
FYI : On 8 Mei 2009 we restart our production system
The saposcol and sapccmsr run already
but when I hit OS07N, there is no data on casapdb system, error "Partner casapdb_CAP_32 not reached (reading table)
Can anybody help to to solve my problem?
    thanks
    regards,
    Della

well for backups as you say.....
SAP looks for offline backups every day and since you are not doing offline backups,so it says an error during EWA report,so you must not be too much concerned on backup error in EWA report,
what wrong data is EWA collecting apart from this

  • Missing data-sources.xml deploying war with jdeveloper 9i RC

When deploying a war file to an OC4J 1.0.2.2.1 server and error reports during the deployment that data-sources.xml is missing in the application-deployments/xxxx directory. Only the orion-application.xml file is present - which references a data-sources.xml file in the same directory. The problem is : it isn't there.
When I copy the xml files from the applications/xxxx directory to the application-deployments/xxxx directory and redeploy the war file everything works fine.
Is this a configuration issue or a bug ? Anyway, can somebody tell me how I can work around this problem ?
    Thanks !

this is a bug and you have already found the workaround.

  • How to make JDev leave out data-sources.xml

    Greetings
I would like to have jdeveloper leave out data-sources.xml. I have my test server setup with all the data-sources so this isn't needed. All it does is create bunches of data sources on my server then I go in and delete them.
Is there a way somewhere in jdeveloper or my deploy profiles were I can tell it to leave this file out so it just uses the ones I have already setup on the server?
    thanks
    troy

I think you can control this by going to tool->Embedded OC4J Preferences->Data sourcesI think the original author meant to ask for a way to exclude data-sources.xml when deploying to an external application server.
So far the only way I've found out to work is to manually blank the 'dataSourcesPath' field in "Configure Application" dialog before actual deployment takes place.

  • How Get JDev to Omit data-sources.xml from every .war deployment

I want a global data-sources.xml file to be used for all deployments. I do not want a copy of my standard data-sources.xml file to be included in every single deployment. I want my global data-sources.xml file to reside in the standard J2EE location of:
    oc4j_home/oc4j_instance_name/j2ee/config/data-sources.xml
JDeveloper, for whatever reason, includes a data-sources.xml into every .war file. How do we configure JDev to omit the data-sources.xml? How do we set up JDev to automatically configure the .xml files (orion-application.xml, application.xml, etc) to use the global data-sources.xml? I do not want to manually do this for every deployment.
I've been trying hard to find the answer in JDev online help and other OAS manuals. I read everywhere that I can have a "global" data-sources.xml, but I find no way to easily configure JDeveloper to do it this way.
I would be grateful for you insights/help.
    thanks
    -Paul Janda

    I found the answer:
In JDeveloper, Go to Tools | Preferences
    Select Deployment
Uncheck the option for "Bundle default data-sources.xml during deployment"
Upon the next generation of the .ear or .war file (including the next deployment), data-sources.xml will be omitted.

  • Tecra A10 - Wrong date and error messages

Hello, Toshiba Tecra A10, PTSB0A-002001 running XP pro,
I keep getting the wrong date & error messages on my laptop when I leave my laptop for long periods off without charging, so I guess that the Cmos battery is no good, so I am asking: what is cmos battery number and where can I purchase one?
    Thanks

    Hi joe75,
Before you exchange the CMOS battery: Leave the AC/DC adapter connected for at least 24 hours. During this procedure the CMOS battery will be recharged and the notebook should be able to store the correct date & time settings again.
