i have installed workspace 2.1 now when i want to open app this error appear ( attached)
what is problem?

This means that the Firefox thinapp package is not available to the Windows client machine. We will need logs from your Windows client machine to know why. This is how you can collect your logs. Open the Workspace app in your Windows System Tray. Click on Options. Click on Collect diagnostic information. It will generate a zip file and put it on your desktop. Send us that zip file.

Hide Running Apps from Standard Users

Hello
How can i hide running apps from a standard user?
Ex
I would like to have team viewer running in the background so anytime i want i can administrate the mac ..But if the user quit from app i'm not able to log in.
So i'm thinking to make him unable to quit from the app either have the app running in the background..
Any ideas?

Be aware that the major difficulty in using your own encryption routines is key management.
- If you store the key in the database, the DBA can obviously just call the appropriate decrypt routine, pass in the key, and see the data
- If you store the key outside the database but expose it somehow in a way the database can see, you've got the same problem.
- If you store the key outside the database in a way the database cannot access, then only the applications that know how to access the database and know how to access the key can decrypt the data. That can be annoying if you try to use a reporting package or other third party software that needs to see decrypted data and doesn't know how to decrypt the data. You'd also have to make sure that the DBA doesn't have access to whatever machine you're storing the key on for other reasons (i.e. because the DBA is the backup to the admin)
- If you don't store the key at all, you can force users to pass it in when they want to decrypt data. That obviously runs the risk that someone forgets the password because not enough people know it or that so many people know it that its no longer a secret.
- Plus, you have to deal with things like figuring out how you revoke/ change a key, how you synchronize backups of the database with backups of the key without DBA intervention, etc.
These tend to be much harder problems than figuring out how to encrypt the data on the way in.

Is there anyway to obtain a disk image (dmg) for an app from the App Store?
I need to obtain an dmg for a small App that is only available from the App store, but I need to put it on a Snow Leopard machine that does not have App Strore installed (and cannot be upgraded further).

Any Mac with Snow Leopard can be updated to 10.6.8, which includes the MAS. Just download the 10.6.8 update combo and install it on that Mac.

You also do not need a dmg, just copy the app from one Mac to another. Unless the app has an installer MAS apps are simple drag & drop installation apps. If it has an installer drag & drop the installer and then run it on the Mac where you want the app.
Most MAS apps require a minimum of Mac OS X 10.6, and many require 10.6.6, 10.6.7, or 10.6.8 to run.

Go to Apple Menu > App Store > View my account > sign in and then edit the payment details with the new card details.
I am assuming that your card and supporting bank are in the same country as your residential (billing) address and that you are using the App Store of that country.

After review the log, I found the select statement was fail, the SQL below was wrong:

There is no table V_ADDR_ORG but S_ADDR_ORG in the Siebel transaction database. So I don't know why it generate this sql when transfering data to OBAW. This is the out of box bi application.

Yes you missed to create views for source tables. so in dac design>> tables tab, select any table and right clieck on it then click on change capture scripts>> generate view scripts. it will ask you whether it can generate script for all the tables. so it will generate view script for you. now run the entire esript in source database. then your problem will be solved.

Problem solved.... Somehow it had removed a line in the server.xml file for the embedded OC4J (the line which adds BC4J/lib).

Install and run app from App Store on external hard drive?

I just made the switch from a MBP to an Air, and am figuring out how to best utilize an external hard drive (1 TB) to save space on my internal drive (128 GB).
I am not sure how the performance will be, but I would like to at least try out running Bioshock Infinite (39 GB, purchased through the App Store) from the external drive. My biggest hurdle right now is figuring out how to properly install the app on my external drive. Here's what I've tried so far:
1. When I try to install it from the App Store, there's no way to choose where it is installed, and because I don't have much space left on my internal drive, I of course get the error that there is not enough disk space available to install.
2. When I copy the app from my old MBP to my external drive, and then try to run it on my Air, I get an error that the file is corrupt, and am told to reinstall it.
What can I do to be able to play Bioshock Infinite on my Air without it taking up nearly a third of my internal drive space? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I will have to think about your problem for now. But an easier way to copy your CD's to your computer is:
On iTunes, open up preferences then click on the "Advanced" tab. You will then see "iTunes Music folder location. And you will see where your music is being saved on your computer. There are two boxes to the right that say "Change..." "Reset". Click on the "Change..." button and select your folder on your MyBook. iTunes will now import the music from your CD's into that folder AND this is where all of your music will need to be if you want to play it on your computer. What this is doing is pulling the music from the folder that you selected other than the folder on your computer.

0xc0000005 access violation running app from mapped drive but no problem from UNC or local

I have an application (.exe - 32 bit) that is giving the access violation error when run from a mapped (net use) drive on a shared folder.   NO error if I run it using the FULL UNC path name and NO error if I copy it to my local drive and run it.
The error is below.   I have run scans for virus and malware, etc. and come up with nothing. I have run diagnostics on my memory and nothing is wrong with the hardware. Also, if I create a new user profile, the app will run fine under
that profile - initially.   The problem seems to come up after I install something new.  I know the new software is not infected (VS 2013) and the software installed before the new profile test was not the same software.
I didn't give all the info below because it's legacy software few would know about and I do NOT have the source code.   It is 32 bit and has worked fine for 15 years or more - without this problem.    Thanks in advance for any help

We wonder if you get this error on all PCs or only on your Windows 7 PCs.
If your application happens to hit a page of memory that is not present, a standard page fault will trigger, telling Windows it needs to fill that page. If the network happens to be down at that moment, Windows will be unable to satisfy the page-fault. So
Windows throws an EXCEPTION_IN_PAGE_ERROR (0xC0000005). Since you mentioned that it works under new user profile initially and already tested your memory, the most typical causes for the ‘0xC0000005: Access Violation’ error are: corrupt registry, malware,
updated software/device driver.
Check your issue with malware, VS 2013 and firewall closed under new account.
If this issue happened recently, you could simply restore your system to earlier point then check your issue.
Check your issue under clean boot and safe mode with network (using new account)

FRM-92101 error while running report from a button or menu

Hi All,
I am getting the error FRM-92101 while running report without parameter from a button or menu. I am using Developer Suit 10g. I get the error as it shows there has some configuration problem in my form. Will you please help me anyone how can i solve the problem. My previous forms running very well both with parameter and without parameter.

In that case I have changed the query to run the report. first of all i create a view following the query and build the report using a simple select query. that's etc. my report running fine now.
It is mentioned that there had no error on my codes.

Error on running JVM from a C program

I'm using Open Watcom as a C compiler on Windows XP. I'm trying to run a JVM from a C program.
I have specified the following as a library file :

The code compiles very well, but I'm getting an error when running it.
Windows tells me the following :

I already did PATH.
Open a console window.
Explicitly set PATH to point ONLY to the appropriate java directory (where the dll is and executable) using something like the following
set PATH=C:\xxx\yyy
Then run your app again in the console window - no where else.

Does any one know 's why we get this error and what does RC=U0900 represent.
Also I checked m_ProgramExec API in /ejr directory and this file doesn't have any statement to execute the program name passed to it as parameter.

I think I have got whats the problem .
Syntax for calling m_ProgramExec is "m_ProgramExec [OPTIONS] Program [Args .....] ". And when this API is called it checks the number of arguments and I think its expecting miminum 2 args . When I ran the converted .ksh with m_ProgramExec SAMPLE it gave error as specified above. But when I corrected the converted .ksh with m_ProgramExec SAMPLE "agrs" . Then it ran successfully. (though the arguments were dummy)
