Error FWM 01003 infoView

Hello,
I have problem when i try access to infoView says
"u2022Error: Server cundisrv119:6400 not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null"
I have tried everything but i cant solve this problem when i enter the cmc my system name is
cundisrv119:6409 and i can join without any problem but i dont know how i can change the port for infoView
I guess this is the problem.

You need to update default value of "CMS.default" in web.xml of InfoViewApp.
Solution
1. Update the default value of u201Ccms.defaultu201D in web.xml of InfoViewApp.war file & redeploy
    <context-param>
        <param-name>cms.default</param-name>
        <param-value>cundisrv119:6409</param-value>
    </context-param>
2. restart Application server
If you are using default Tomcat then, you can go for Temporary Solution (works till you re-deploy infoviewapp.war).
1. Go to C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Tomcat55\webapps\InfoViewApp\WEB-INF & Update the web.xml of InfoViewApp.war file & redeploy
If you are not using tomcat, Go for first solution.

ERROR INFO VIEW FWM 01003

Hi all members,
I installed BO XI 3.1 on a machine SO WS2003 . After the installation everythings works perfectly.
After a few months I got an error while attempting to connect to the CMC (error FWM 01003 server not found or may be down).
When I remove BO and reinstalled it, it works fine, but again after a few days I got the same error message.
I checked that the CMS is started.
I can fix this problem change the port (6400) of my CMS to port 5230 so when i try connect to the CMC perfect but
when i try connect to the InfoView (Error: Server cundisrv119:6400 not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null)
Anyone have a suggestion?

I have exactly the same problem.
I met this problem 3 times in 2 months. Every case, I reinstall Oracle Database and BO, but the problem came back.
At final I'd like to know if you know the cause of this problem ? And how have you resolve it ?

Can you check if you can access CMC from the server, using localhost? Make sure CMS DB is up and running.
What version of BO are you using?

Hi All,
I am a beginner with BO.
I installed BOE (Version XI 3.0) on my machine. Just after the installation, all the tools were ok.
After logging out of windows, I have the error "Error: Server BALAHSAN01:6400 not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null" when I try to connect to the CMC or InfoView.
My configuration is : Windows XP SP2. I'm using MySQL5 and Tomcat. ports have not been changed.
Note : my server is the localhost (no firewall!). MySQL5 does work.
Do you see any reason to this?

I install Business Objects XI R3.0 and Tomact, on Windows Server 2003 R2 Standar Edition SP2 and the repository is Microsoft SQL Server Express Edition.

Error: Server not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null

I installed Crystal Reports Server 2008. The server is a new install of windows 2003 server fully service packed... The ony connection to SQL is through an ODBC connection to a seperate MSSQL Server. I did not set a password for the CMC and checked the "change administrator password later". When I try to log in to the CMC I get
Error: Server srvreports:6400 not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null
I am connecting through an ODBC using a trusted connection... Should I not do it this way?
I have tried uninstalling several times... including specifying a password.

The Central Management Server (CMS) is responsible for maintaining a database of information about your BusinessObjects Enterprise system, which other components can access. The data stored by the CMS includes information about users and groups, security levels, BusinessObjects Enterprise content, and servers
- Maintaining Security , Managing Objects, Managing Servers, Managing Auditing.
SIA is the Server Intelligence Agent. Server Intelligence is the underlying server management architecture that simplifies the administration and deployment of BusinessObjects Enterprise servers and services. When you start a SIA you can configure all, some, or none of the servers contained in/managed by the SIA to also be started. All BO servers in a SIA must belong to the same cluster. The SIA maintains server status according to the settings you specify in the CMC. It processes the CMC's requests to start, stop, monitor, and manage all servers on the node, and it also monitors potential problems and automatically restarts servers that have shut down unexpectedly. The SIA ensures optimal performance by continually monitoring server status information, which is stored in the CMS database. When you change a server's settings or add a new server in the CMC, the CMS notifies the SIA, and the SIA performs the task.
The SIA is automatically configured during installation, but you can change these default settings through the CCM.

BOXIR3- Unable to log on : Could not connect to server - FWM 01003 null

I've just installed for the third time BOE Premium Server XIR3
Config:
Windows Server 2008
BOXIR3
CMS on MySQL
Tomcat 5.5
I've installed from scratch my server and I could not connect to any application
CCM : the SIA is up and Running, but I could not manage server to see what is launch on the server
> Error : Unable to log on : Could not connect to server SERVER_NAME:6400. Please check that the server name is correct, and that the server is running
Tomcat Configuration: Can't connect to that services too
-->Error : Unable to open the service BOE120Tomcat
CMS / Infoview : Unable to connect too.
--->Error : The server SERVER_NAME:6400 is not found (FWM 01003) null
(Here I translated the error message because I've got the message in french...)
Concerning the MySQL database, it's seems to be correctly installed as I can access the database via MySQL Admin tool.
I've seen lots of similar issue but I never found any resolution or workaround.
So If you have any ideas to help me it would be great as I must make a demo on customer site on monday morning :o(((

CMS.exe wont start: FWM 01003

HI All,
I seem to be having some issues with getting BO XI running. THis is what anyone gets when logging into BO:
Error: Server ****** not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null
Nothing has changed in terms of server ports no datasource. Now there have been numerous posts/resolutions on this, however none of them seem to work for me.
I have:
Restarted SIA and Apache Tomcat (in the recommended order)
Restarted the server
Checked the ODBC connection (localhost, MySQL installed as default alongside BO)
I have noticed that CMS.exe is shutting down a few seconds after SIA is started which looks like its casuing the issue, and the Event Viewer mentions it maybe either ports or the datasource. Both of these appear fine, so Im not sure what it is.
Any ideas?

Does your server have more that 1 network cards setup?
Try to add the name and IP address of the host directly in the hosts file.
Can you please check in <BOBJ installation directory>\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\logging for errors in the log files of the CMS and the SIA?

Was this working before? If yes, any changes have been done recently?
Did you compile the form successfully at the client side before uploading it to the server?
Did you use the TEMPLATE.fmb file to create this custom form?
Not sure what is the code you are using in that form, so posting it may help -- OERR: ORA 1003 no statement parsed [ID 18594.1]

Enviornment details:
BOXI3.1
ORacle 10G
Wnidows 2003
We are not able to login to CMC after installation of BOXI3.1.
In task manager we see sia.exe but cannot see cms.exe running
Verified the database connection, it is working fine
Checked the TNSnames.ora file and verified if the TNS_ADMIN variable was specified in the environment variables.
Tried creating new SIA server with new database schema but it did not help.
We observe these errors in Event Viewer:

You can't login into the server, because CMS server can't start.
It can't start due to following error : ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified CDatabase::Open failure
Something in a way DB connectivity is set or in a way CMS DB is setup in oracle is not right.
The error comes strait from Oracle so quick google search shows :
ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified
Cause: A connection to a database or other service was requested using a connect identifier, and the connect identifier specified could not be resolved into a connect descriptor using one of the naming methods configured. For example, if the type of connect identifier used was a net service name then the net service name could not be found in a naming method repository, or the repository could not be located or reached.
Action: - If you are using local naming (TNSNAMES.ORA file):
- Make sure that "TNSNAMES" is listed as one of the values of the NAMES.DIRECTORY_PATH parameter in the Oracle Net profile (SQLNET.ORA)
- Verify that a TNSNAMES.ORA file exists and is in the proper directory and is accessible.
- Check that the net service name used as the connect identifier exists in the TNSNAMES.ORA file.
- Make sure there are no syntax errors anywhere in the TNSNAMES.ORA file. Look for unmatched parentheses or stray characters. Errors in a TNSNAMES.ORA file may make it unusable.
- If you are using directory naming:
- Verify that "LDAP" is listed as one of the values of the NAMES.DIRETORY_PATH parameter in the Oracle Net profile (SQLNET.ORA).
- Verify that the LDAP directory server is up and that it is accessible.
- Verify that the net service name or database name used as the connect identifier is configured in the directory.
- Verify that the default context being used is correct by specifying a fully qualified net service name or a full LDAP DN as the connect identifier

- Verify that "EZCONNECT" is listed as one of the values of the NAMES.DIRETORY_PATH parameter in the Oracle Net profile (SQLNET.ORA).
- Make sure the host, port and service name specified are correct.
- Try enclosing the connect identifier in quote marks. See the Oracle Net Services Administrators Guide or the Oracle operating system specific guide for more information on naming.

I know that this error message is already resolved on another post... But despite the good proposed solution, the problem is still there ...
OS & Db :
BO 4.0 SP2 on standalone
DBs CMS & Audit is SQL Server 2008 Express
Already test :
Windows Services ( SIA , Tomcat, SQL Server)
Repair BO
Change port
ODBC (change & create again )
I suppose the probleme is the link between CMS and the database...

I launch IE on http://adcsrv06.company.internal:8080/BOE/CMC or http://adcsrv06.company.internal:8080/BOE/BI and when I want log on, i receive the error message.

XI3.1 Error - (FWM 01002)

We are getting the following error after applying the changes listed below to reduce the session timeout. I had opened an incident with SAP and instructed to make these changes. This error is also making scheduled Webi reports fail.
An error has occurred: Unable to reconnect to the CMS scfbi0p0boefrm1.scfbins1.com:6400. The session has been logged off or has expired. (FWM 01002)
Changes made to reduce the session timeout:
Changed the session-timeout to 5 (Default was 20) in the following web.xml files:
CmcApp, CmcAppActions, InfoviewApp and InfoviewAppActions
Changed the logontoken.enable to false in the following web.xml files:
CmcApp and InfoviewApp
Added " -failovertimeout 1" to the command line parameter of CMS server in the CMC.
Set the IdleSessionTimeout = Decimal 60000 (1 Min) located in the registry.
After the changes were made I restarted the CMS server and Tomcat.
I would appreciate any ideas on what might be causing this.

1. From Central Configuration Manager, disable all the services and re-enable them.
2. Log into Central Management Console and go to the server area.
3. Go to the properties of Central Management Server, in command line parameters type -requesttimeout 3600000.
4. Save the changes and restart the server.
5. Follow the same steps for WebIntelligence Processing Server and Adapter Job Server.
6. Go to the connection server properties and increase "Ideal connection timeout" to 120, restart the server

Error FWM 01014

I just installed Crystal Reports Server 2008 on a server and to make the installation easy I choose the install Tomcat & deploy to it and install MySQL options. The installation was done on Windows 2003 and I use SQL 2005 as the database for report data.
The installation completes without any error messages and most thing work after the installation. I can logon onto CMC, I can publish reports, I can logon to infoview. But when I try to view a report I get error messages. I also tried running the sample reports that came with the installation but got the same results. When I run a sample report from CMC I get the following error message:
*An unexpected error has occurred. The exception originally thrown was: Unable to find servers in CMS crdevserver.kilic.local:6400 and cluster @crdevserver.kilic.local:6400 with kind fileserver and service FileStoreV2. All such servers could be down or disabled by the administrator. (FWM 01014)
When I try to run the same sample report from infoview it gives the error:*
invalid report object.
When I try to run 1 of our own reports from infoview it gives the error:
The database logon information is incomplete or incorrect.
I am sure it is correct, I also tried having the user enter these values but got the same result.
I also tried reinstalling with diffrent configurations but got the same results, I have been searching the internet for a solution for the last week but I am pretty much stuck.

When I reinstalled with he regional settings on the server set to US everything starting working fine.

I have a problem with BO XI3 Desktop Intelligence and Designer.
I can't log in, I have the following error :

Connection with J2EE Portal works
How can I fix it ?
