Dear All,
In BPC 10.0 Microsoft Version, I am performing consolidation. Running consolidation pckg was successful initially. Suddenly, it fails - giving the following error message:
Error FX-300 nothing extract from Fact - CLCFXTrans
I believe the above error happens during currency conversion which happens to the final consolidation process.
Pls. help to fix this error message.
Thank you.
Regards,
PeriHi Peri,
If you have access to back end data base then please check one table that is clcFXTrans_Consolidation (clcFXTrans_model name)
All currency conversion rule are stored in the table. Actually there are two tables you can check for currency conversion rule.
1) clcFXtrans_Consolidation(clcFXtrans_model name)--> store currency conversion rule
2) clcFXtransh_Consolidation(clcFXtransh_model name) store rate type
write a query on that table and check,if nothing is their then validate all rule again.

so far i tried:
1. to set the windows firewall settings
2. I've reinstalled firefox
3.Type '''about:preferences#advanced'''<Enter> in the address bar.
Under '''Advanced,''' Select '''Network.'''
Look for '''Configure How Firefox Connects''' and press the '''Settings''' button.
Check the settings.
Some problems occurs when your Internet security program was set

SPRunConversion Version 7.5.106
ERROR FX-300 Timeid=10000005 - Nothing Extract from Fact - CLCFXTRANS
Any Suggesions..Hi, sbw2627
Usually, it is a problem of property or rate value issue.
Please do below my suggestions,
1. Please check all property value is correct.
2. Please check time dimension property value is correct.
3. if you are using SPRUNCONVERSION, you need to input previous year rate.just put it as 1.
I hope it will help you.

Errors extracting from Essbase to flat file
New to ODI, I have the environment working - so I think
Using ODI 11.1.1.6.0 Studio, no web services, just the studio.
Essbase 9.3.3 is source
Target is flat file on C:\ drive of PC
PC is Windows 7, 32 bit
running an interface to extract from Essbase outline (metadata) to a flat file (csv) the integration step (4) "Extract Metadata" fails. The first 3 steps are sucessful (drop work table, create work table, begin essbase metadata extract).
The error messages in the 4th step are:

Only the file name being written to in the Target exists, it is updated with the column headings:
C1_SORTID,C2_PARENTNAME,C3_MEMBERNAME,C4_ALIAS,C5_DATASTORAGE,C6_TWOPASSCALC,C7_CONSOLIDATION,C8_UDA,C9_FORMULA,C10_COMMENT
There are no other files in the the Target flat file folder
I did have to add a primary key to the target datastore, added as PK_Sortid on the "SortID" column in order to get the flow to run. The LKM used is "LKM Hyperion Essbase METADATA to SQL.GLOBAL", the CKM is "CKM SQL.GLOBAL" ( the only one showing from the drop down).
I don't know what else to check or change.
thanksI think I saw somewhere in your post that Staging different from target is NOT checked, probably why you are getting lots of 'loading to staging area errors'. Your staging area has to be able to support relational operations i.e a relational database such as SQL Server or Oracle or the SUNOPSIS Memory Engine. In your interface make sure you check the staging differnet from target and for example select the SUNOPSIS Memory Engine as your staging area. Resave the interfece and re-run.

i would need to extract data for payroll data from data source 0HR_PY_1 to BW based on the period of time say for example 01.2007 to 12.2007, the infopackage in Production is in full load i would need to initalise it to Delta. for this, i can first run full load for the period 01.2007 to 12.2007 then go for init of delta without data transfer and delta will be intialized and then select the radio button delta and go for delta extractions. this is what i need to do now.
for this i have extracted data from 0HR_PY_1 from R/3 to BW in full load, but in after extracting more than one crore records were extracted with a failure(red color status), it says that data is not extracted from correct client which seems to be wrong because only one client is maintained for R/3 Production and in RSA3 i could see no record for that data source, i wonder how those many records were extracted from ????.
and i also see the error saying "No assignment of payroll data to BW month". it is giving this error while extracting for the year 2007 but for the year 2006,2005 full load is done and it has not thrown such error.
do you think Assignment of payroll data to BW is compulsory, because i could see no assignment in R/3, if that is not done then how could 2006, 2005 years of data been extracted and when they are extracted i am not sure when and how they were extracted.Hi,

Error while extraction from R3 : URGENT
While extracting from R/3 generic datasource(extracted through function module ) i am getting error as :

An error occurred in the source system.
System response
Caller 09 contains an error message.
Further analysis:
The error occurred in Extractor .
Refer to the error message.
Procedure
How you remove the error depends on the error message.
Note
If the source system is a Client Workstation, then it is possible that the file that you wanted to load was being edited at the time of the data request. Make sure that the file is in the specified directory, that it is not being processed at the moment, and restart the</b>
<u>But when I am running the FM or the extractor checker it is giving actual records with our any error</u>
Could you please help me what to do ?
No job log in job overview , only it is given <b>Cancelled</b>.Some possibilities:
1. Replicate the data source and then try loading.
2. Check the RFC connection ; may be it is broken.
3. Check the update rules to see it is active.

Error while extracting from BI source
Hi,
We are facing a wierd problem:
Scenario:
Loading data from one DSO to another DSO with the help of transformation
The DTP fails at second data package each time. First data package goes successfully but it fails at the second data package) We have tried to vary the data package for e.g. 100 records, 5 records etc.....no matter what we do the load fails at the second data package with the following error message.
Error:
Data package processing terminated
Error while extracting from source EPUD0002 (type InfoProvider)
System error in program SAPLRS_EXCEPTION and form RS_EXCEPTION_TO_MESSAGE (see long text)
Unknown error in SQL interface
Error reading the data of InfoProvider EPUD0002
Exception CX_RS_STEP_FAILED logged
Workaround:
We tried to increase the number of data package size so that all the records can be processed in only one data package and the load has never to request for 2nd data package . BUT as the data package size is big it takes long time to process and never completes....
FYI...Our transformation has lots of abap coding ...
Addn Info:
SAP_BW 700 0010
BI_CONT 703 0005
SAP_BASIS 700 0010
Any help will be highly appreciated...
- AmitThere must be some bug in the code which is causing this issue.
try to debug it,

Error Received When Trying To Create DSN From The Command Line
All,
Your help is greatly appreciated in advance. I am having trouble packaging Oracle 10G for a batch file deployment. Everything is done except for getting the DSN created which is causing me major problems. We am working with the Oracle 10G R2 10.2.0.1.0 Client on Windows XP Professional SP2. The Oracle database resides on a Windows 2000 Professional Server SP4 running Oracle 9i.
Our Environment: I am creating two packages of the Oracle 10G client. The first is for a batch file distribution via LANDesk and the other package is for normal batch file install if someone from IT is installing this from a user's desk. Both scripts are really identical the only differences are how they are laid out. I only need help with the DSN creation as everything else is ready to go. I am going to focus on the Non-LANDesk batch file as once I fix this in one script the other one should also be fixed.
The Problem: The batch script copies the neccesary files to the temporary directory. I then extract the setup files to the temp folder. I run a custom Oracle install using the RSP file from a recorded install. After the install is complete I copy the TNS Names file to the proper location. I then try to call a CMD file with the ODBC command seen below the main script.
Script (May be easier to read if you download using link below):
@ECHO ON
::This batch files installs Oracle 10G Release 2 Version 10.2.0.1.0 with a Custom Response File
::Installation is Interactive
::All files are extracted from the ZIP file via the 7-Zip command line tool
::The Net Configuration Assistant TNS Names File is copied to its proper location
::The CCR ODBC connection is created once the install is complete
::All folders used for installation are cleaned up-deleted

ODBC Script
odbcconf.exe /a {CONFIGSYSDSN "Oracle in OraClient10g_home1" "DSN=CCR|Description=CCR_data|SERVER=BWB|Database=CCR"}
As soon as the command is called I see the following error message appear.
"CONFIGSYSDSN: Unable to create a data source for the 'Oracle in OraClient10g_home1' driver: Could not load the setup or translator library with error code -2147467259"
The really strange thing though is that if I let the main part of the script run (Not the ODBC call) and then immediately manually start the ODBC call script it works just fine. So, I don't really understand why the script can't add it itself. Or, I can go the Administrator Tools>Data Sources (ODBC)>and then add it manually which also works. I have tried just pasting the command directly in the main script, therefore, bypassing the call feature but it doesn't make a difference.
Link (Zip with all scripts mentioned above): http://www.cbridegum.com/Fourms/Oracle/Files.zip
Has anyone ever seen this kind of issue before? Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this? Any thoughts or suggestions would be great.
Thanks so much for your help in advance,
Clif BridegumAll,
I thought it may be related to spaces in the path in which the script was called from. I tried having the ODBC command script in another directory but the same thing happens. It will give me the "CONFIGSYSDSN: Unable to create a data source for the 'Oracle in OraClient10g_home1' driver: Could not load the setup or translator library with error code -2147467259". As soon as the script is done running I can manually double click the script and it adds the DSN fine.
Thanks,
Clif Bridegum -
Error while testing Generic Data Source extraction
I've created generic data source for Texts and Attributes in R/3 based on VIEW (Z table)
I get error "Error 6 in function module RSS_PROGRAM_GENERATE" while trying to test the data sources through RSO2
I guess there can be a lot of reasons... Please name me anybody who knows them...
thanx in advanceHi,
Please Check the OSS note 328948 and it provides solution to same error what you have. Additionally you can have a look into this OSS note 705212 too.
Syntax error in the generated extraction program Symptom
You notice the error by one of the following symptoms:
The loading of transaction data from an R/3 system terminates with a syntax error in the generated extraction program. The monitor displays the error messages:
R3027 "Error & during the generation of the data transfer program"
RSM340 "Error in the source system"
The extraction within the extractor checker terminates with error message RJ028 "Error 6 in function module RSS_PROGRAM_GENERATE".The activation of transfer rules ends in BW with error message RG102 "Syntax error in GP$ERR$, row... (-> long text)" from the source system. Usually, the diagnosis in the long text of the error message is: "...could not be interpreted. Possible error causes: Incorrect notation or... "
Other terms
OLTP, extractor, data extraction, DataSource, Service API, SAPI,
R3 027, R3 27, RSM 340, RJ 028, RJ 28
Reason and Prerequisites
The error only occurs in the source system, if this contains Basis Release 3.1I and Service API (SAPI) 3.0C Support Package 6. SAPI 3.0C Support Package 6 is contained, for example, in PI 2003.1 Support Package 7 (see attached composite SAP note 673002).
Solution
To correct the problem you need service API 3.0C Support Package 7 in the affected source system. The attached composite SAP note 704971 explains in which software components service API 3.0C is contained, and what the corresponding Support Packages of these components are.
Alternatively, you can also copy the advance correction from the appendix.
Hope it helps.

Error in Abap code when combining data from two tables
Hi,
I got error in my code when i try to select data based on two tables
error message Unknown column name "(" field list. field list. field list. field list.
select ( WLK1~ARTNR )
into ZOXE1D0041-ZZPROMO
from WLK1 INNER JOIN T001W
ON WLK1FILIA = T001WKUNNR.
where WLK1-PFLKN NE 'P' AND
WLK1-QUELL NE '2'.
Table 1 WLK1
ARTNR FILIA PFLKN QUELL
001 C001 P 2
002 C001 A 1
Table 2 T001W
KUNNR WERKS
C001 P001
My requirement is to extract from article number from table WLK1 where the customer number (FILIA) matches with Customer number from (T001W) and plant (WERKS).
In conclusion I like to have this only this row
ARTNR FILIA PFLKN QUELL
002 C001 A 1Hi
You need to append every article number after each select is performed
is this an intermal table ZOXE1D0041 with header line ? if yes
then do this way
select WLK1~ARTNR
into ZZARTICLE
from WLK1 INNER JOIN T001W
ON WLK1FILIA = T001WKUNNR
where WLK1~PFLKN NE 'P' AND
WLK1~PFLKN NE 'S' AND
WLK1~QUELL NE '2'.
ZOXE1D0041-ZZLISTARTICLE = ZZARTICLE.
Append ZOXE1D0041. " <edited>
endselect.
then ZOXE1D0041 will have all article numbers.
