Error getting,while generating the Webi report

hi,
while i am generatign the Webi report, i am getting below error.
com.jpmorgan.extraclear.reportservice.BOException: :generateReport :: Exception com.businessobjects.rebean.wi.ServerException: The number of simultaneous report jobs was limited to 10 by the system administrator. . Please try to reconnect later.[ RCIRAS0518 ]
please help me out.

I just got the same error message, but I try to open a DeskI in InfoView. This has nothing to do with the Web Intelligence Processing Server. But I had problems with the RAS (Report Application Server). A restart of the RAS didn´t help, so I restarted the BOXI-Server. Now everything is fine, but I still don´t know, what happens.
It would be great to know what the problem was.
Hope to get an answer.

Windows App Certification Kit 3.4 error occurred while generating the report (the application will exit)

I've encounter a pretty big issue while trying to check if everything with my windows phone 8.1 app is all right. After creating package (*.appx) I launched Windows App Certification Kit 3.4 to run it against all the test. Each time I try I get an error saying
"an error occurred while generating the report. the application will exit" and Certification tool just crushes
I looked online for some solutions but couldn't find any. Somebody knows what is going on and how to fix it ?

If you want to test your app, you can also send to beta store and you can get response from the testers.

An error occured while generating a new report template

I have installed the Crystal Reports 2008 V2 and also the support pack. Installed the SAP Integration Kit XI 3.1 and the latest service pack 2.7. When I try to use the SAP Tool bar from Crystal Report , I can connect/see the queries but when I select any query to create a report I am getting an error message
"An error occured while generating a new report template". Any advise ? How do I turn on the trace in the client ?

Here is solution for Client...
To turn tracing on for client applications, you can use the following steps:
1. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > System > Advanced > Environment Variables button.
2. Under the User Variables, add the following variable and value:
For Enterprise XI:
Variable Name: BOE_LOGGER_ENVIRONMENT
Variable Value: -trace -loggingPath c:\logs
For Crystal Analysis, Crystal Enterprise, and Crystal Reports version 10 and earlier:
Variable Name: CRYSTAL_LOGGER_ENVIRONMENT
Variable Value: -trace -loggingPath c:\logging

Error when creating SharePoint WebPart - "An error occurred while generating the project"

I am getting a Error in Visual Studio when I create a SharePoint Web Part.. "An error occurred while generating the project. Please see the Visual Studio Output window for more information."
I have checked the Output window and there is noting in it. When I click OK I get the next error that states "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".
After I click oky.. There seems to be files missing in the project menu..
I am using Visual Studio 2013 Ultimate and SharePoint 2013 Enterprise. These run on Windows Server 2012 R2..
This mind boggling.. Hope someone can help me..

Hi,
For better troubleshooting, I suggest you do as the followings:
Create a new clean project. In this projcect, you can just create a new web part to check whehter it works.
Debug the project step by step and try to find which object reference not set to an instance of an object.

While generating the huge report getting Java Heap Space Error

Hi All,
We are using XML Publisher 5.6.2. we have to generate the huge report which contains more than 300 sql statements. Since our schema structure we can not reduce the queries. Now we are facing issue while generating the report. It takes lot of time and gives 'java heap space error'. We are using data template and RTF template for generating excel report.
Can anybody help me to resolve the issue? or is there any other way to generate the huge reports?

I had seen the forum, but we had already adjusted the parameters in the oc4j "-XX:MaxPermSize=128m -Xmx512m" values to 4096. but still we are getting the java heap space error. since we increased the size of xmx value, XML Publisher occupies 61% of memory of the server. B'coz of this our other applications are getting affected.
and also, since we are using XML Publisher 5.6.2, can you please assist us how to set the scalable property to 'true'.

Error (IES10901) (WIS 10901) while refreshing the Webi report

Hi Gurus,
We have created webi reports using Universe design tool on top of BEX Query based on 0SD_C03 cube and now we are facing Database error: A runtime exception has occured. (Error loading cube 0sd_c03 (catalog : % 3). (IES 10901 ) (WIS 10901) while trying to refresh the Webi report from Data Access--> Edit--> Run Query while its running fine when I refresh the report using refresh button option in Webi.
When I run the the query in rsrt its working absolutely fine.
Note that we are using BOBJ 4.0 SP7 and this issue has come recently.
Any idea or help on this would be appreciated.

what type of connection are you using for your Webi report
Is it Specified user name/password OLAP connection or SSO Olap connection
If your are using Specified user name/password OLAP then try with SSO connection because SAp recommendation is not to use Specified user name/password OLAP connections..to resolve this kind of issues please restart DSL bridge..

Error While Run the WebI Report on SAP BW Query

I have build the universe on SAP BW Query . I built the same universe on the SAP BW DEV and SAP BW Test
When I tried to run the WEBI Report on the Universe which is built on the SAP BW Test
WebI Report is prompting for the below values
Calendar Year
Profit Center
Profit Center Hierarchy
Version.
Here I can see the List of values for the Calendar Year and Profit Center. Its giving me below error when I look for list of values for the Profit Center and Profit Center Hierarchy.

1.     Why I am getting this error. Because of authentication or configurations set on the Profit Center and Profit Center Hierarchy objects? If so , please let me know what I need to set?
When I tried to run the same WEBI Report on universe which build on SAP BW Dev Query. I can see list of values for the Calendar Year, Version, Profit Center, Profit Center Hierarchy.
But when I selected the values and tried to run the report. I got below error.

- the BI Query in the Test system is running correct and all the variables do work ?
     Yes, BI Query is working fine in the Test System and I can see all the variables too
In BI Query I can see values for Calendar Year, Version, Profit Center, Profit Center Hierarchy

- do you see values in the Web Intelligence prompts when you run the report ?
   No,
   I can only see values for the Calendar Year & Version in the Web Intelligence Prompt.
When I try to see values for the Profit Center & Profit Center Hierarchy in the Web Intelligence Prompt, its showing below error.

Reg: Error while refreshing the WebI Report

Hi all,
I created WebI report based on universe that is connected to Excel data. Through DSN I m accesing Excel Data . I created same DSN in server also. If I refresh the webI Report in BO server it tells the following error.
A database error occured. The database error text is: [Microsoft][ODBC Excel Driver] System resource exceeded.. (WIS 10901)
Before that its working fine. what may be the problem?

This error occur sometimes.
And if you re-run after an error occurs, the error does not occur.
So, I guess this error has affected the Java cache file, not the Java software.
How do I check what Java cache is corrupted.

This error occurs in various reports, but I din't know the number of reports.

This error has occurred in several machine.

Hi,
If it's not the universe limits, then I think you've hit the "MDX result contains too many cells" (more than 1million) problem.
So, I suspect a long running query, no filters/variable restrictions, and You've probably got a dump in ST22.
I don't know what BW you have, but if it is BW 7, do you have Enhancement Pack 01 and SP05<->10 ?
You should check out all the latest corrections from component BW-BEX-OT-MDX
the final proof of the pudding would be to enable MDA / SOFA log , capture the MDX SELECT statement and test it in BW MDXTEST - i bet you get the same error there.

Bypass the error messages while opening the Web Analysis 9.3.1 Report

I am using WA 9.3.1 to create a few reports. The login users will have some essbase meta-read security filters to restrict the access into certain regions and entities.
For example:
user a has the meta-read and read access of @idescendants (east);
user b has the meta-read and read access of @idescendants (west);
user c has all the accesses
However, in the first start-up page (Web Analysis 9.3.1 dashboard), I have a dashboard which contains all the regions access. When user a login, he shall only see his own dashboard (speedometers, etc.).
Currently the user login will get some error messages (such as "loading document produce error", etc). I wonder whether we can set the message level in Web Analysis so that there is no such error message while the user is opening the reports.

I have checked my Web Analysis report, and I still have the error message of "Error Occur while opening document. Document ID = {0}" while using the some user id to login.
In my Web Analysis database connection preference, my setting is "user the user id and password". I have verified this (when I use "user a" to login, and in essbase connection, i can see the session with "user a").
In the WA report, however, I use the multiple-level combo box, so that it can give me different levels of entities, for example, the top level is all regions, the 2nd level is east/west/south/ ec, and the next level is cities, and so on. And if "user a" login, he will be able to see the all regions and east, and then east cities (of course, if he select all regions, there will be no data available).
Do you think this multiple level combo boxes can be the cause of this error message?

BO 4.0 : JCoException while scheduling the webi report

Hi,
We are in BO 4.2 patch 8.
We have 35 webi reports. These report uses SAP BW as data source. We are using DF to fetch data from SAP BW.
We have manually configured the RFC destination for JCO connection (as mentioned in SAP notes - 1638647).
Reports are getting scheduled successfully. But sometimes some webi reports fails with the following error message.
Database error: (CS) "Java Exception : java.lang.RuntimeException:com.sap.connectivity.cs.java.drivers.DBDError: [Data Federator Driver][Server] [Connector 'Sales_BO_New'] SAP NetWeaver BW has reported an exception: com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException: (112) RFC_ERROR_REQUEST_CANCELLED: connection with handle 3 closed
after cancel (remote system is PBI|BILPBI)" . (IES 10901)
This is in intermittent issue. If anybody faced this issue, then please let me know your feedback.

Personally, I haven't seen this before. To recap:
- Manual refresh work fine
- scheduling works most of the time
- but sometimes it fails with << SAP NetWeaver BW has reported an exception: com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException: (112) RFC_ERROR_REQUEST_CANCELLED >>
You might want see if you can isolate a particular document causing the problem, or determine if it's related to using certain refresh parameters

it says Find out from the JAVA application or the JCo traces which JCo Server was cancelled and restart the server; in the J2EE Application Server context, JCo Servers are often started via the Service JCo RFC Provider
but .. i don't know how helpful that is..
