Can any body help me on this.
Thanks in advance
Mohan.

i am doing datamart load ie DSO to cube
so while loading in DTP in update tab i have selected max no of error recods to be skipes = 9000 this will ignore the records if at all there are error records in the flow.
i know there are few records. but what i want is to identify wht the error in the record is
when i try to chk the records in Error stack if i selet  a record to change with change mode i also get a pop up with the error msg

    hi gurus please help me
    this is the error occuring to me .when i am loading data from        ods to cube     please help me by details of this
    how to edit in psa, when to edit, what is the next procedure

    Hi,
    Have you loaded the data you corrected from PSA to DSO? Is your corrected PSA data has loaded to DSO & your DSO is active & request is Green.
    If so, then check if there is any formula or routine written in the transformation rule. Check if they are correct & your transformation is active. Then try executing the DTP.

    Hi,
    As refered by the posts above , you need to edit the data in to PSA, now try going through the procedure below:
    1. Once data is loaded till PSA , ther will be a "process Manually Tab" in the status of the ip, press that.
    2. Now you will get the error in the processing packets .
    3.make the IP red , delete the failed request from target( Info cube), sice for DSO there is a specific procedure.
    4.now go bak to ip click on the psa tab, the error displays record '1', so select the first record in PSA, put the size of the record in the no. of error records and select " error record".
    5. now you will se this error record in the PSA.
    6. Click on the edit record , you will se the canonical structure of the record with its field.
    7. No try editing th record for there might be a entry which seems to be diff from other(compare with correctly loaded records).
    8. edit it , save the changes.
    9. now either recostructing the PSA or manually pushing the failed request to target.
    Hope this will serve your cause

  • BW prod: 'error in a formula function'

    We have problem RSAR 194 ('error in a formula function') in data load.
    We use the following formula functions between IS and ODS (transfer/update rules):
    FISCPER_CALMONTH( MONAT, FISCVAR, LEFT( 4, FISCPER ), 0 )
    LEFT( 4, CALMONTH_FISCPER( CALMONTH, 'V3', 0 ) )
    RIGHT( 3, CALMONTH_FISCPER( CALMONTH, 'V3', 0 ) )
    DATE_FISCPER( ADD_TO_DATE( CONCATENATE( DATE_MONTH( SYST-DATUM ), '01' ), 1- ), 'V3' )
    The problem occurs with data load from R/3 production, but just in the BW production environment:
    in the BW development environment, the same data load process works properly.
    (note that the development environment has been transported into the production environment without applying any changes,
    so the production environment is the same as the development environment).
    Both the develpment and the production environment have BW release 3.5 (on AIX/Oracle), with support package 14.
    Related notes: notes 652706 and 690772 refer to the same problem but with BW relaeses 3.0-3.1;
    note 798787 refer to the same problem also with BW 3.5 release but with support package prior to 11.
    None ot them reports differences between development and production environments.
    Does someone know how to solve this problem?
    Thanks,
    Massimo

    Hi massimo,
      'V3' is fiscvariant..?, check this is available in Production or not.
       Check any dumps in st22. you will get some more info. and alos see the details tab in monitor.

  • How do you trace an error in a formula/function?

    I have a very complex formula in one of my cells, and there is an error. The little help box that explains the error doesn't help me, as I still can't find the error? Is there any way to trace the error? I know that Excel has such a function, I was hoping Numbers had one too. It says "The operator '*' expects a number but found "." I have 12 products in my formula, and I can't find an error in the formula or in any cell. I searched the document for "." but it only found some in my comments. Thanks

    Copy the formula and paste it here and we'll take a look at it.

  • Error in Formula Function

    Dear Experts,
    I tried to convert the fiscal period into calander month by using the following formula in transformation -
    FISCPER_CALMONTH( RIGHT( 3, PERBL ), 'v3', GJAHR, 0 )
    where PERBL is the Period block/year having the data like 2008004 & GJAHR is the fiscal year as I does not have posting period in data source or fiscal period, that is why i have to use the Period block/year.
    I am getting the problem while uploading the data into the cube. It gives me an error Error in a formula function (routine 82 ), record 1
    Please let me know how can i resolve this problem ??/

  • Error in formula function (ROUTINE_18) record 1

    Hi All,
    We are loading a flat file in to a DSO. From here we are loading the data from DSO to a cube (using this DSO as a Export datasource). In the export datasource infopackage, we are giving date in the selection screen and loading the data. before it is working fine. Now when we try to load the data, i am facing the error " Error in formula function (ROUTINE_18) record 1" and the data was not moving from the PSA to the infocube.
    Recently we have upgraded the BI system from 7.0 version to 7.3.
    Please let me know the reasong for the failure and how to correct it.
    I have replicated the Export datasource and even i re-generated the DSO as export datasource but no use and getting the same error.
    Thanks,
    jack

    Ok...you have a BW 3.5 flow.
    As you said you have selection at InfoPackage level. Please check whether the InfoPackage without selection works or not.
    If it works then you have the problem in Selection field.
    Also check if there is any problem in Update Rule /Transfer rule
    If you have selection routine written at InfoPackage level, create a new InfoPackage ( Full) and load .

  • An error occured in a function of the formula - DATE_DIFF

    Hi,
    I have loaded the Data from PSA to ODS. I need to load data from ODS to InfoCube to MultiProvider. I am trying to use DATE_DIFF for two fields with datatype mm/dd/yyyy in formula.
    I am getting the error as "An error occured in a function of the formula".
    Please let me know how I can solve this problem.

    Hello Deva
    Follow any of the below option.
    1. Create formula in transformation for the difference ZNDAY
      Select Date Functions > DATE_DIFF(ZSTODAT,ZSFRMDAT).
    2. You can do it by routine also by using standard FM to calculate the diff bewn two days.
    DAYS_BETWEEN_TWO_DATES
    FIMA_DAYS_BETWEEN_TWO_DATES
    FIMA_DAYS_BETWEEN_TWO_DATES_2
    FIMA_LEAP_DAYS_BETWEEN_2_DATES
    LEAP_DAYS_BETWEEN_TWO_DATES
    HR_99S_INTERVAL_BETWEEN_DATES
    ISB_DAYS_BETWEEN_TWO_DATES
    3. If you don't do here you can do it in reporting formula variable.
    4. In reporting you can do it with customer exit.
    Assign points if your problem is solved.
    Thanks

  • OSStatus error -108 in QuickTime while trying to record my desktop.

    I am getting 'OS Status error -108' in QuickTime (v10) while I am trying to record my desktop.  I get this error as soon as I hit the record button.
    Anybody know what this could be? How to fix?

    OK just zapped the PRam, no Cigar.
    Personally, I did not think it would help. (As previously noted, I tend to agree with those who consider this more of a "contiguous" memory problem.)
    see the 10.6.8 was installed freshly about 3 weeks ago.  this MM functions as a server doing faxes, answering machine, print server and a few emails a day (iMovie is not even installed neither is Flip4Mac).  so it is not like in heavy use.  so I fail to see how their can be fragmentation.
    Did you "wipe" the drive prior to your install? If not, there is the possibility of carryover fragmentation. I just checked my startup drive and found 709,236 of 1,991,704 items out of optimum order (36%) since my last routine maintainence optimization, drive mechanics test, and general "dusting & cleaning" exercise. Here is the graph:
    Of course, I may process an average of 100 GBs to 200 GBs of data during a typical day of copying, converting, and storing video content. (Yesterday was a non-typical day since I had to "panic" backup 597 GBs of DVD images from one RAID drive to another because one array appeared to require reformatting following its latest firmware and dashboard updates. This was in the middle of copying a season of TV shows to my internal drive, converting them for TV use, adding them to my iTunes library, inserting metadata, and proofing the results. In any case, it appears my DroboPro will survive after all since I discovered this morning that the dashboard installer app as released by manufacturer support was probably faulty. (I.e., the embedded PKG file embedded within the installer application was opening Pacifist for installation rather than the Mac OS Installer.app as it should have done. In any case, I extracted the installer package from the app file, corrected the problem, and ran the PKG file manually to save the need of backing up another 7 TBs of data over the next week.)
    In any case, to get back to your problem... It may be a good idea to simply see if you can find a program that will graph, disply, or otherwise reveal your current state of fragmentation. If the disk is not fragmented, then you can continue your search for an alternative solution. If it is highly fragmented, then you can try the defragmentation option and see it it works. In either case, it may help others if you post your results here for further review.
    Best of luck...

  • Error in running a function to convert coordinates in degrees to decimal for EXCEL VBA

    For your information, I have 3 cross-posts regarding this question - and all I can said there is still no firm solution regarding this error.
    1) http://stackoverflow.com/questions/27634586/error-in-running-a-function-to-convert-coordinates-in-degrees-to-decimal-for-exc/27637367#27637367
    2) http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/excel-questions/826099-error-running-function-convert-coordinates-degrees-decimal-excel-visual-basic-applications.html#post4030377
    3) http://www.excelguru.ca/forums/showthread.php?3909-Error-in-running-a-function-to-convert-coordinates-in-degrees-to-decimal-for-EXCEL-VB&p=16507#post16507
    and the story of the error is as below:
    Currently I am working on VBA excel to create a widget to verify coordinates whether it lies under the radius of ANOTHER predefined and pre-specified sets of coordinates.
    In the module, I want to convert the coordinates from degrees to decimal before doing the calculation - as the formula of the calculation only allow the decimal form of coordinates.
    However, each and every time I want to run the macros this error (Run-time error '5', invalid procedure call or argument) will appear. Then, the debug button will bring me to below line of coding:
    degrees = Val(Left(Degree_Deg, InStr(1, Degree_Deg, "°") - 1))
    For your information, the full function is as below:
    Function Convert_Decimal(Degree_Deg As String) As Double
    'source: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/213449
    Dim degrees As Double
    Dim minutes As Double
    Dim seconds As Double
    Degree_Deg = Replace(Degree_Deg, "~", "°")
    degrees = Val(Left(Degree_Deg, InStr(1, Degree_Deg, "°") - 1))
    minutes = Val(Mid(Degree_Deg, InStr(1, Degree_Deg, "°") + 2, _
    InStr(1, Degree_Deg, "'") - InStr(1, Degree_Deg, "°") - 2)) / 60
    seconds = Val(Mid(Degree_Deg, InStr(1, Degree_Deg, "'") + _
    2, Len(Degree_Deg) - InStr(1, Degree_Deg, "'") - 2)) / 3600
    Convert_Decimal = degrees + minutes + seconds
    End Function
    Thank you.
    Your kind assistance and attention in this matter are highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Nina.

    You didn't give an example of your input string but try the following
    Sub test()
    Dim s As String
    s = "180° 30' 30.5""""" ' double quote for seconds
    Debug.Print Deg2Dec(s) ' 180.508472222222
    End Sub
    Function Deg2Dec(sAngle As String) As Double
    Dim mid1 As Long
    Dim mid2 As Long
    Dim degrees As Long
    Dim minutes As Long
    Dim seconds As Double ' or Long if only integer seconds
    sAngle = Replace(sAngle, " ", "")
    mid1 = InStr(sAngle, "°")
    mid2 = InStr(sAngle, "'")
    degrees = CLng(Left$(sAngle, mid1 - 1))
    minutes = CLng(Mid$(sAngle, mid1 + 1, mid2 - mid1 - 1))
    seconds = Val(Mid$(sAngle, mid2 + 1, 10)) ' change 10 to 2 if only integer seconds
    Deg2Dec = degrees + minutes / 60 + seconds / 3600
    End Function
    As written the function assumes values for each of deg/min/sec are included with unit indicators as given. Adapt for your needs.
    In passing, for any work with trig functions you will probably need to convert the degrees to radians.
