Error in a Webservice
Hello Everyone !
I am trying to save a data in a SAP server using a webservice.
I did the configuration and links. After executing I am getting this error.
[ERROR]: Error Invoking Web Service Action: null
[ERROR]: ACTION FAILED: End Action Web_Service_0 : ( )
What can be the possible reason ?
Regards,
Vaibhav Singhania
Hi,
Please check the followings
1. Blank Or wrong URL in 'Custom Object ' tab
2.Wrong Object Name like 'Web_Service_1/2..etc ' as object name.
3. Invalid source or destination data mapping.
I hope this will help.
Regards

Error while generating webservices using Date
I am facing the following problem while generating a web service which is having Date as one its members.
I have serialized a class with the following DataStructure
private String rowId1;
private Date created;
private String name;
private String quoteNum;
private String revNum;
private String curcyCd;
private String activeFlg;
private Number discntAmt;
private Number discntPercent;
When i tried to expose this as webservice, If I use the class oracle.jbo.domain.Date for Date type, the webservice is not generated properly. It is not including the method which contains this call. ie) This method is not present in the WSDL file as well as in the proxy.
When I used java.util.Date instead of oracle.jbo.domain.Date, I am able to expose the method and webservice got generated properly. But When i tried to generate the proxy for the WSDL in the consumer, I go the following error.
oracle.jdeveloper.webservices.model.GenerationException: Proxy generation failed for the following reason:

JamesHi all,
I have applied the consolidated JRI fixes - patch 17191279 .
Then, when generating Jar, received keypass is tampered error.
re-generated the key using $ adjkey -initialize.
Now, its working fine.

Edited by: 1005832 on May 14, 2013 6:16 AMThe error was generated on the endpoint and indicates that the SOAP request message had incorrect WS-Security information in its headers. The SOAP response message you included doesn't contain specific information about what is wrong (we wouldn't want to reveal too much to hackers, of course!).
Without seeing the SOAP request message and the WS-SecurityPolicy that the endpoint requires, it's impossible to tell what's wrong.
Other important information:
- what version of WLS are you running?
- is the endpoint a WLS JAX-WS or a WLS JAX-RPC web service?
- is WS-Security configured using native WLS WS-Security (e.g. @Policy) or using OWSM WS-Security (i.e. @SecurityPolicy)?
- what specific policy is being used to enforce security at the endpoint (the advertised WSDL for the endpoint should contain this) -
In jdeveloper 10.1.3.4, I created a new synchronous BPEL project, then connected to my db and selected a package and did the right-click, create a web service from it. Now that I compile the project it returns this error:
Error: C:\jdev10134\webservices\lib\jaxb-impl.jar (The system cannot find the file specified)
Do I need to add something to jdeveloper to allow it to compile web services?
Thanks,
Edited by: srollins on Aug 21, 2009 12:42 PMCreating a WS client in a BPEL project breaks BPEL compilatiopn, that's easy to reproduce.
I dont' know how you can fix this without getting rid of the WS client, but if you want to keep the BPEL and are happy to remove the WS client, then proceed as follows:
- delete the src directory
- remove the "oracle.jdevimpl.config.JProjectLibraries" and "ownerMap" sections in the *.jpr.
- restart JDev
After this you should be able to compile the BPEL again. -

KrishnaI had the same error, while implementing a new client webservice.
The Error ERROR_WEBSERVICE_RUNTIME_INIT was in my case solved by:
1. regenerating the CL_SOAP_APPLICATION_CLIENT class.
and
2. deleting the LPCONFIG setting and creating a new one.

Error while transporting webservice datasources
Hi all,
I have created webservice datasources to fetch EP data to BW. and now i am transporting that Datasources from DEV to QA. I have colllected datasources alone in one req. (source system i have created in QA manually and i mapped that with DEV)
But while transporting i am getting the folllowing error,
3S3T Start of the after-import method RS_RSDS_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) RSDS (Activation Mode)
Error Screen output without connection to user .
Error when activating DataSource ZANS_MASTER BI7001
Please through some light is there any predefined settings i need to do in QA system?.
Thanks in advance,
V.SenDear All,
Thanks for your kind reply.
There are no R/3 Datasources involved. Our BI Cockpit landscape is based upon only BI system. No data transfer to take place between R/3 and BI.
Secondly, you mean to say that I need to replicate my Source system in Production and then proceed with the transporting of the requests from Dev to Prod.
But I never did the same in Quality while transporting from Dev. Is it that it might have been done in Quality beforehand by someone ?
Also, when the Datasources have not been transported to Production (resulting in error) then how can i replicate these datasources in Production ???
Let me know if I have not understood correctly.
Many thanks again for your efforts.

Returning Errors from a webservice using XMLBeans
I have a webservice that accepts XML as input and output parameters, and I'm using XMLBeans to handle this. I'm trying to work out how I can return error information from the webservice, so I created an Exception.xsd schema and 'include' it in the output XML Schema, so an exception xml element is valid in the output schema. The problem is, the XMLBean class generated from the output XML schema has no methods that allow me to create an Exception element. Is there some other way of handling the return of exceptions from webservices using XML?
The answer is just throw a SoapFaultException and put the exception.xsd XMLBean in the FaultDetail section of the SoapFaultException.

Need Urgent Solution for error in presence webservice
Hi Folks, I am new to ocsg , i got stuck with a serious problem
I am working with presence web service
As from documentation , i understood that watcher should subscribe with attrbiutes which he wants to look up for presence user's information , so i tried to give subscribe information, in that tab, i gave sip uri as tel:1234
and click on start button .Initially i got error that No plug in created
Then i tried to create the plug in from pluginmanager for presence webservice , but it is not allowing to create saying that "you cannot create plug for this service ( presence web service)"
then I started using the already existing
presenceservice = Plugin_px21_presence_sip and existing
================
presence instance = Plugin_px21_presence_sip#wlng_nt_presence_px21#4.1
then again i got error while I click on start button , saying that No Route Exists
then I added a route by taking Plugin_px21_presence_sip as input value and values given as tel:^.*
and I also set setrouteconfig as below values
================
Plugin_px21_presence_sip
================
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<route xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="route.xsd">
<destAddress defaultResult="true">tel:^.*</destAddress>
</route>
=================
it has accepted . then I again started the subscribe presence by clicking on start button .

RajasekharHi, if this is urgent I would suggest logging the issue on My Oracle Support in the Communications Service Delivery Community where Oracle and customer/partner/developer experts will advise whether this is a configuration issue or a bug that requires an SR to deliver a fix.

Error while Importing Webservice Model in NWDS 7.0.13
Hi Experts,
I am trying to Create Webservice Model (deprecated) in my Webdynpro Application using NWDS 7.0.13, using a WSDL which is hosted on PI 7.1.
However while resolving this WSDL, I am getting error "Unacceptable Choise Element Found. Choise can contain only model group with min/maxOccurs = 1".
Then I downloaded the WSDL, and changed the MaxOccurs = "1". After Importing this WSDL in my Webdynpro project, another exception got raised "Trying to Resolve qualified base " , here AcordMsgSvc is targetnamespace in XSD which is ported in PI for this Service Interface
Please help me resolving these 2 errors -
1) min/maxOccurs > 1 not allowed in NWDS 7.0.13 webservice model?? Do I need to install any plugins?

Error in Creating Webservice in JDeveloper 10.1.3 EA
hi,
I'm trying to implement a java webservice using JDev 10.1.3 EA. I just create one simple class with one method returning a string. here is the class code:
public class ServiceTest {
public ServiceTest() {
public String getMessage() {
return "hello wooorld!";
after that, i do right-click on it and select "Create J2EE Webservice", and I choose J2EE 1.4 (JAX-RPC), and let JDev do its job creating several classes. I'm trying to run its WSDL file and nothing happens except string message "Oracle Containers for J2EE 10g (10.1.3.0.0) - Developer Preview initialized" appears.
After that, i'm creating web service proxy by right-click on WSDL file and select "Generate Webservice Proxy" and let JDev creates several class. But when I invoke webservice by calling method
myPort.getMessage();
in the MyWebService1SoapHttpPortClient.java and run it, the following error occurs:
java.rmi.RemoteException: HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: oracle.j2ee.ws.saaj.ContentTypeException: Not a valid SOAP Content-Type: text/html; nested exception is:
HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: oracle.j2ee.ws.saaj.ContentTypeException: Not a valid SOAP Content-Type: text/html
at mypackage.proxy.runtime.MyWebService1SoapHttp_Stub.getMessage(MyWebService1SoapHttp_Stub.java:92)
Is there any mistake in my code? I've also created Webservice Proxy for GoogleAPI Webservice using JDev 10.1.3 EA and it runs well. thanks a lot for any suggestion.
regrads,
foxyes, i found an URL and I try to access this via browser, and the following message appears:

How to resolve this issue???Hi
Looks like an eclipse/NDS error, upgrade to the next sp (may be some components were missing during the installation). Check the installation log of NDS.
