Error in accessing XMII Login Page

Hi ,
I am getting a null pointer exception while accessing the login page. When I see the cms.log the details are as follows.
Starting iDOC listeners...
2007-06-13 17:46:26,937 [JCO.ServerThread-1] ERROR  SERVER-EXCEPTION - [null,null,null,] com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (129) JCO_ERROR_SERVER_STARTUP: Server startup failed at Wed Jun 13 17:46:26 GMT+05:30 2007.
This is caused by either a) erroneous server settings, b) the backend system has been shutdown, c) network problems. Will try next startup in 1 seconds.
Missing -a<Program ID>
Can any one please guide me as to what could be the problem?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Sreeram

Hi Sreeram,
The error you are seeing in the log files is caused by the unconfigurerd default iDoc listener that is supplied with xMII, so that is not the likely cause of the error you are seeing.  I would recommend you submit your question through the SAP Support Portal as this appears to be a case that could be resolved much more quickly by the Support team.

    Hi,
I am not sure how this hap_start_page_powl_ui_ess is accessed. Looks to me that the application is being called with out the Configuration HAP_START_PG_POW_MSS_AC
Try to start this application using the url parameter &sap-wd-configId = HAP_START_PG_POW_MSS_AC
    or
open this application and application parameter WDCONFIGURATIONID =  HAP_START_PG_POW_MSS_AC
    or
if you use portal iView then use this HAP_START_PG_POW_MSS_AC in the iView property.

  • Accessing Enterprsie login page?

Our DBA installed patch "XDO/ORACLE XML PUBLISHER CORE ROLLUP PATCH 5.6.2, # 5097966".
Does that allow me to access the Enterprise pages? If so do i need a special responsiblity and what is the URL? Or is there another patch for this application?
I don't know if i'm totally missing something here, the 5.6.2 doc B25951-01, doesn't have much other then access the URL your sys admin gives you.
    Thanks,

  • Getting HTTP 403/500 errors when accessing SharePoint 2010 pages

    Hi,
I'm getting intermittent HTTP 403/500 errors when accessing SharePoint Foundation 2010 pages.
When it happens, any SharePoint pages I access I get a HTTP 403 error (example: /sites/test/default.aspx) . If I don't specify a page, I get a HTTP 500 error (example: /sites/test/). What's odd is that I have non-SharePoint .NET applications running on the
same server under the "_layouts" directory and those still work just fine.
After recycling the IIS application pool, it starts to work again, but sometime won't stay up very long.
Does anyone encounter this problem before?
    TIA
Also, I'm hoping to understand what the "Microsoft.SharePoint.Library.SPRequest.GetFileAndMetaInfo" method does to help me track down this issue. If you have any info on what the above method is doing, I really appreciated.

    Hello All,
When I try to login to MII using http://<server name>/Lighthammer/Menu.jsp,It is going to http://<server name>/Lighthammer/error.jsp and displaying the error "Uanble to build user information for authorization response".I am not able to even look at the login page of MII.Please help me to resolve it.

What version of MII - 11.5?  Go onto the server and check the Security server URL from the Menu.  If you are using remote desktop and/or using the server directly then http://localhost/Lighthammer/Menu.jsp should allow you to bypass security in order to check the path to LHSecurity.

    Sree,
You are looking at the right place, url_fw.conf, make sure that there is any entry for ibu* to access the isupport pages, if the page does not start with "ibu" grep in the conf file for your page prefix and see if there are any entries, else create a new entry in the conf file for your page and it should go through properly.
    Hope that helps.

  • FRM:92101:Error while accessing employee assignment page

    Hi All
I get the following error while accessing People>enter and maintain>assignment Page.
FRM:92101: There was a failure in the forms server during start up. This could happen due to invallid configuration. Please look into web server log file for the details.
    Menu : GLB HRMS Navigator
Request group:Global HRMS Reports & Process
    Kindly help.
    Regards
    Sasmita

I remember encountering this issue once when there was some problem with People Group KFF setup. In that case form server crash occurs while opening the assignment screen. No other screen show this behavior in that case. What we did was open the people group FF set up, create one dummy segment (you must have at least one dummy segment for People Group flex field for the assignment screen to work properly), compile and save. Once this was done, assignment screen opened up properly.
You too can try the same and let us know if it works with you.

  • To access my login page, firefox changes the address and shortens "pms2" to just "pms" and it screws up my login procedure. Any hints on how to stop it from changing the address?

To pull up my login page for my reservation software, I have an icon on my desktop. https://apps.gracesoft.com/pms2/login.asp. However it keeps shortening the "pms2" to "pms" and that makes the login info invalid. The page pulls up just fine, but that one space saver invalidates the security

It appears that the URL is being redirected by the website, and not being changed by Firefox. I think you'll find that the URL will be changed if you try to visit the website in another web browser, too.

  • Internal System Error prevents access to https pages of HP Deskjet 3052A

    OK, sorry, try this: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-104282-2&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en

If this is still a problem, try this:Instead of going to an HTTPS page from the HTTP page, start out in the HTTPS pages. Example: Normally, you would go to http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to access your printer's web interface, and then you click the link to one of the HTTPS pages.Try this: Go to httpS://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (capitalized only for effect). This will bring you to the homepage of the printer, but there won't be any information on it. Click the Settings Tab, and then the Security link. You will be brought to a screen to create a password for the Admin account for the SSL pages. Once you've created this password, it will all work the way it's supposed to. The problem is that the web interface requires you to create a password in order to access the SSL pages, but HP messed up and put the page to create the account on an SSL page. So, you can't access the page to create your account, because you haven't created the account yet. I just spent the last hour and a half chatting with tech support on this and I finally found the backdoor solution. I asked them to pass it on so, maybe someday it'll be fixed in a firmware update.  Try this and let me know if it works for you. I've seen many other people with the same problem and no solution.

  • Error in OAM Identity and Access Servers login pages

    Hi All,
I am trying to install OAM I completed all installations . But now am getting error as invalid "*Invalid credential*". IS there any process to know what the userid and password for the both Identity and Access Servers . Please tell me if there is any process. It very helpful to me .
    Thank u & Regards
    Pokuri

    Hi Pokuri,
Could be that the searchbase is wrong, so that OAM is not finding the user whose credentials you are entering. Or, maybe OAM is using a different attribute as the login attribute (for example, you could be entering the cn when OAM is expecting the uid).
Try binding to ldap with another utility (such as ldapbind or ldapsearch) to see if this gives any indications. You may need to reconfigure the Identity Server to verify/correct the searchbase (for this, follow note 730376.1) and to check which attribute has the "Login" semantic type in OAM.
