Error in accrual reversal upon Difference procedure settings

Hi Team
For product type Corporate bonds (04A) we have configured Difference
procedure for Accrual of interests. When we execute the flow of transactions the accrual amount which needs
to be reversed upon sale (even for full not only partial) is not getting reversed.
We had refered to SAP note no. 912679 and 918570 and done the config
settings in our  system.
We had tried couple of combinations in Derived Business Transaction
settings for interest but still not able to reach the desired results.
We feel one more entry system need to pass that is reversal of accrual
to interest upon sale.
Kindly let us know if there is any other SAP note or config settings
missing at our end.
Regards
Deepak

Hi Narinder
Thanks for showing interest in this issue.
We have activated difference procedure meaning in SPRO under FSCM - Treasury - General settings - Accounting - Accrual/Deffral - Update Types - Assign update type for Accural
here we have updated our product type 04A with profit related update type SAM5000
And next step under Assign Additional update types for Difference procedure we have added for our product type 04A update type SE8701 for outflow and SE8702 for inflow.
We have both these update type SE8701 and SE8702 relavant for posting.
We have not created any new update type.
There is no error only issue is when i sell partially the excess of accural which needs to posted back to interest is not getting posted. Is there any specific settings we need to do to make this work.
The issue arised after we activated one business function under EPH3.
Kindly let me know if you need further details on this.
Regards
Deepak

I am executing a report through web. But its not running , displaying an error message "page cannot be displayed".
Please provide me the step by step procedure (settings) to run a report in web.

    Hi Rajesh,
If you just want to execute the report in web, you can do one thing.
Go to Query designer of your relevent system.
Open the Query which you want to execute in Web.
Then in the Query tab(first one) in the drop down list you have the Option  'execute'./ the 5th Icon  in the Query designer screen. On clicking this it will open a new window( Internet Explorer) and prompts for your system credentials.
Upon providing them  the query start executing if it deosn't have any selections, else selection screen appears.
You can save the link and can use this when ever you want to execute the query.Use it in the BW system environment's Intrenet explorer only.
    Hope this helps.

  • Enquiry for the accruals key in pricing procedure

    Dear Experts,
                      1) My question is this that, what is the significance of 'Accrual' key in pricing procedure? & why accruals are only used for rebates?
    2) what is the name of a/c where the posting of invoice is done or in other words after the invoicing which a/c is maintained from FI perspective?
    Thanks & regards,
    M.S.Kumar

    Hi,
The accrual keys form part of account determination. These keys are used here to define the posting of the revenue
generated to respective account heads& to subsequent assignment to GL accounts and payment to respective
    parties.
The accural key in pricing procedure is used for accumulating the values.
For example we if think that the freight charges which must be paid to the vendor for every invoice must be paid later. Then the freight charges for that vendor for a period of lets say 3 months will get accumulated in a key(Accural)for all the invoices in that period.further this key is linked to a GL account.so at the end of a period they will settle the amount to the vendor.
Main difference is account key posts into revenue account or consumption account,
Accrual key posts into a Accrual account.
Accrual entry is passed when cost or revenue are accured but not paid or billed (Surity of the transaction) like rent, salary.
    regards,

  • Exchange Evaluation for interest accrued (difference procedure)

    Hi experts.
How can I run exchange evaluation for Accrued Interest, posted with Difference procedure?
I'm using Difference method to post  Interest Accrual. This is working but the  issue is that this instrument is in a different currency and I need to reevaluate the interest.
There is no issue if I use Reset procedure for interest. But here the requirement is to use Difference procedure.
is it possible to do this in TRM-TM-MM?
    Regards.
    Lucciano Guazzelli

    Hi,
Which SAP version/EhP pack are you using?
In ECC6.0 EhP4, system takes care of exchange difference in subsequent accruals for foreign currency transactions, and post the difference.
In the first month, TPM44 only post the accrual entry. However from 2nd month onwards, system posts accrual entry as well as adjustment entry for all previous accruals.
You can further use FAGL_FC_VAL in FI to evaluate P&L and BS items using different exchange rate type. For example, BS items using spot rate and P&L items using average rate.

  • An error occured on the server while reading settings

    Hi to everyone,
Today i renewed my server's Profiles Manager Code Signing Certificate following this link http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5358
The certificate was renewed sucessfully for one year.
I switched the Profile Manager Off then next to "Sign configuration profiles" i clicked the Edit button and from the Certificate list, i selected the certificate named "myserver.mydomain.com Code Signing Certificate - myserver.mydomain.com OD Intermediate CA" which was the only listed certificate that i had renewed.
When i turned on the Profile Manager i faced the issue.
An error occured on the server while reading settings so the Profile Manager can't start.

Errors when updating leads to corrupt system files and this may be your problem. If you're using windows, connect your device to PC and run any third party app like Syncios. If it detects, you maybe in luck and try to back-up your data if possible. I hope that it won't and if doesn't, there is no other way to recover files. You should be restoring with iTunes and all data will be erased, or else your device may become unusable.

Entry point errors can often be fixed by deleting the offending dll, then repairing the component it is part of. If that doesn't help read on...
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
    iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases.
Or roll back to the previous build:
    iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
    iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

  • PLS-00201 error occurs when batching a stored procedure in SQL*Plus

I have a batch file to run a stored procedure and spool the results to file. When I enter the commands manually in sql*plus the output works fine and my results are spooled to the output file. But when I run the same commands in the batched script I get an error.
    Any ideas?
    Stored Procedure:
create or replace procedure MMP( p_cursor in out SYS_REFCURSOR)
    as
    begin
    open p_cursorfor select name, id from table;
    end;
    batch file 1:
    sqlplus -S user/pw@REPORTDV @sp_output_spooled.sql
    script file sp_output_spooled.sql
Pasting these commands directly to the SQL*Plus command prompt spools the result set to file as expected.
    set colsep '|'
    set echo off
    set feedback off
    set termout off
    set heading off
    set linesize 9000
    set pagesize 0
    set trimspool on
    set headsep off
    spool output.TXT
    var rc refcursor
    execute MMP(:rc)
    print rc
    spool off
    exit
The errors printed to output.TXT file after the batch is run and error occurs:
    BEGIN MMP(:rc); END;
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 8:
PLS-00201: identifier 'MMP' must be declared
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 8:
    PL/SQL: Statement ignored
    ERROR:
    ORA-24338: statement handle not executed
    SP2-0625: Error printing variable "rc"

    Hi,
Your code worked fine for me.
Is MMP procedure owned by the same user that is running the batch file or does it have proper privileges and synonym?
