Error in activation in my iphone 4 (IOS 4.2.3)
I am using Gevey iphone 4 (IOS 4.2.3), some hour ago i attached my phone with PC and open itune, then itune recommanded me to update my iphone software and i completed update my iphone, but after updation, my iphone is not activating my Gevey sim card and give some activation error.
I am much worried to see this situation.
Kindly tell me about what can i do for activate my sim card...

Perform the following steps if you receive one of the messages above:
Restart the iPhone.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Try another means of reaching the activation server and attempt to activate.
Try connecting to Wi-Fi if you're unable to activate using a cellular data connection.
Try connecting to iTunes if you're unable to activate using Wi-Fi.
Restore the iPhone.
If you receive an alert message when you attempt to activate your iPhone, try to place the iPhone inrecovery mode and perform a restore. If you're still unable to complete the setup assistant due to an activation error, contact Apple for assistance.

Check the hosts file. The restore will fail if there is an active entry to redirect gs.apple.com. Follow theadvanced iTunes Store troubleshooting steps to edit the hosts file or revert to a default hosts file. See "Blocked by configuration: (Mac OS X/Windows) > Rebuild network information."
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service. -

I've activated a new iPhone 6 (iOS 8.1.3) from the backup of the previous device and all pre-installed iWork apps got lost. How do I get them back? AppStore downloads are offered with a fee. Any advices?

thanks for your help. Your hint didn't solve my problem but pointed me in the right direction.
When I wanted to activate my new phone from backup I realized, I didn't knew the password. It was noted on a paper at home. So I activated the phone free cause I couldn't await coming home ... a new toy!
Due to GameCenter I have two apple-ids and unfortunately I took the wrong for the activation.
Back home I've reset the phone and activated it from backup. The iWork apps disappeared and now are linked to the other apple-id.
I was able to re-install the apps from AppStore for free. But I don't think I can transfer the apps to the other id.

Basically I just tried to use my iPhone and it started to say, "Error in Activation" then "This device is not registered as part of the developers program of iPhone. If you are a memeber and part of the Developers Program for iPhone, register this device in the program portal for the Developers Program at http://developer.apple.com/iphone" and it wont even let me restore the iPhone since it says that it has encountered an error as followed. You must have been running a beta version of iOS 7. The beta has now expired. Since iOS 7 beta was legally available only to developers, you need to log on to the Developers forum using your developer credentials for instructions on reactivating your phone.
Beta software cannot be discussed in this forum. -

Yes the phone belongs to me. It was purchased from United Kingdom Vodafone to West Africa, i had to factory unlock to use any sim in it. so it belongs to me. I did the activation myself, now after updating my iphone to the latest update, it required a user id and password to activate the phone, but anytime i enter the details, it tells me the user Id is not correct but the password is correct..

I have an iPhone 4 (IOS 4.3.1) and it was synced and backed up today.
I wanted to upgrade to the latest ios on iTunes (today's date is 3rd Jan 2013), it seemed to download ok (it took about 30 minutes or so), but when it tried to update onto the iPhone (I think this was what it was doing!) I got an error message that had code 3014 in it. Nowhere on Apple's website can I find a way to resolve this error code.
I then thought I would just try again from the beginning, but I then got an error message saying that if I continued I would lose all the contents on my iPhone so I cancelled it as I don't want to lose everything on my phone.
Can anyone help me as I am not very good at technical things and I really want to upgrade the ios on my iPhone without losing all the data I have on there already. An idiots guide would be great.

Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.
Check that your security or firewall software is not interfering with ports 80 or 443, or with the server gs.apple.com.
Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
Test restoring while connected to a known-good network. -
Hi everyone! I tried to install the new iOs 7 on my iphone 4, but it wasn't completed (showing error 4005). Now, my iphone is stuck on the itunes' logo with the usb cord, and I can't use my phone. And itunes doesn't detect my iphone when I connect it on my computer, so I can't put it in recovery mode or someting like that... What can I do?? I tried everything they tell me to do in the apple support but nothing seems to work. Thank you!

Update: my PC USB hub was connected to a USB 3 port, I connected the 30 pin cable directly to my PC, And the restore worked just fine. Restored phone from iCloud backup and seems to be working fine. -

I have an iPhone 4S and when I try to add an iCloud account is gives me an error "Cannot Sign In, The maximum number of free accounts have been activated on this iPhone." Is there any way to deactivate an account? I have one for myself, one for my family and one for my work. I had all three on my iphone and then I deleted my work. I wanted to get my own person @me.com account. It wouldn't let me create it from my iphone, so I created it from my Macbook Pro. I am trying to add it to my iphone, but it keeps giving me that error. If there is a way I can deactivate my work one so I can use my @me.com personal account?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately once all the 3 iCloud accounts have been created on your mobile device, you cannot create any more regardless of what you do. You will need to re-use one of the accounts that you have already created or create your new account on another device or computer.
You should however be able to add existing accounts to your device, are you sure you aren't trying to create on rather than simply use an existing one.
