Error in Administration of SLD

Hi experts,
I have a problem, i go to sld:
http://<server>:<port>/sld i log in, and when i click in "Administration" appear an error:
"com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: Exit-Plug must no be triggered with an URL when running in portal. Use portal navigation instead to navigate to another application! "
What happend?

thanks a lot - I can now access the SLD data supplier from my local visual admin- great!
unfortunately, the key storage service still throws the error:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: iaik/x509/V3Extension
at com.sap.engine.services.keystore.admin.gui.KeystoreContentPanel.<init>(KeystoreContentPanel.java:34)
at com.sap.engine.services.keystore.admin.gui.SingleKeystoreViewPanel.<init>(SingleKeystoreViewPanel.java:31)....
Do you know if it's something different with the key storage?

Possible Cause
When a database is being restructured or any application/database on the server is being copied, you can get this message.
or
When a cube is being restructured, commands are restricted because the integrity of the cube has to be stable and no one is allowed to access it.
or
Copying an application requires that the Essbase security file be in read/write mode and therefore other applications are not accessible until the process is completed.
Possible Solution
In Application Settings, verify that the Allow Commands or Allow Updates options are not selected.
If not selected select those..and try

I run weblogic's example MedRec as a cluster. I follow the
instruction and it works.
I have a java application (swing) connecting to the cluster.
When I set MedRec to use 7001 port for both admin and other
tasks, it works fine.
Now, I set weblogic to have separated administration port
(9002). I set ssl as requested. I can deploy ejbs to the
cluster from my swing application. So, the cluster setting
seems okay.
But I want to access ejbs from my swing application. When I
try to get InitialContext using url like "t3://mymachine:8001"
or "t3s://mymachine:7002" I get error:
"All administrative tasks must go through an Administration Port"
For my understanding, request an instance of InitialContext
is not an administration task. What is wrong here? What should I do?

Essbase Error 1013009 - Administrator Has Temporarily Disabled User Command

Hi guys,
I'm trying to load an outline from one server to another server. But during the restructuring process, I encountered the error "Essbase Error 1013009 - Administrator Has Temporarily Disabled User Commands". What does this error mean?
How can I possibly resolve this error? I'm also researching on this error right now.

So what do you see in the application log? Essbase.log?
Are other databases locked as well?
But during the restructuring process,^^^ I'm a little confused by this -- what restructure? If I copy a .otl file from server A to server B, Essbase has to save onto server B, but there isn't a restructure, I think, unless the act of saving forces that?

We have several applications that are encountering this error when running business rules or calcs:
Cannot calculate. Essbase Error(1023040): msg from remote site [[Tue Sep 27 17:49:47 2011]mdcless.loe.corp/UVMUnit/Ef/planadmin/Error(1013009) Administrator Has Temporarily Disabled User Commands]
The local admin is not restructuring the application/database at the time of the error and no data exports are running either. What else could be the cause of this message?

Error in SWCV-Update SLD information

Hi Experts,
I have imported a XI content from marketplace and the same is imported successfully and i am able to create end to end
scenario.
But when it check SWCV->Tool->Update SLD information i am getting the following error.
Cannot update SLD information because there is no entry with key <604><sap.com><ECC-SE><01200615320200010995><ESA ECC-SE 604><509ac7568dff11dcbb6fc5790a115642><ExtSwc> in the SLD, or the ID 509ac756-8dff-11dc-bb6f-c5790a115642 already exists
Do I need to check if something wrong with PI system version and XI content not in sync.
I check in SLD the entry for 604 is not there.
My doubt is , in SLD -SWCV-XI content i am not able to see ECC SE 604 but 603 is present ;Does 603 comes by default durign
installation.
Do i need to upgrade my PI from 7.1 to 7.1 EHP1.

Hi Abhi,
Please check if the software component versions ESA ECC SE is installed, which should be the perquisite for Enterprise services implementation .
Generally the Xi contents are shipped with the sap releases so you might be having the XI content already in SLD which comes during installation in a similar way as we have SAP BASIS.
If you download the XI content , you just need to keep the .tpz file in the server under import directory or repository.
once you do a import from server , the component will appear and can be used for scenarios.
But before thinking to upgrade please do check with any other Xi content import and see if it is shown in the SLD
after import in ESR.

Because administrative priviliges are required? We can't know anything because you haven't provided any relevant info. We don't know what program you are referriung to or what system as well as whether or not you are actualyl operating under a user account with sufficient user privileges...

I have tried the things mentioned by you but still i couldn't solve the problem.
When i try sending the data, moni shows it is successful but the data is not available in R/3.
Now it is not showing the error - error reading SAP_XIAdapterFramework from SLD
But still the data is not passing into the receiver system.

Error in Updating SWCV SLD Info

When i try to use the 'Update SLD Information' under tools in the enterprise repository i get the following error -
GUID of software component version in SLD has changed To import the software component version with the new GUID, create a new software component version
Why does this occur and what can be done about it?

1. In your SLD of dev, do you have the same GUID for this SWCV ?
if yes, you should do a clear cache of your IS (PI web page -> administration -> cache -> etc..) + SXI_CACHE.
2. if no, eventually, think to this non-normal action.... but...
Do you have this SWCV in another PI environment (exm PI qua) with your GUID (this one of ESR)?
If yes, check if you have this SWCV (same GUID) in the SLD of this other environment (exm XI QUA).
if yes, maybe a solution to avoid your conflict in ESR dev / SLD dev is to do an export of this SWCV from SLD qua to SLD dev... but... that's clearly not the normal way... with perhaps other impacts (I don't know your landscape, your SWCV dependency, your development phase vs production and/or maintenance)... so that's just an idea which could be thank. (coud be)

Error in connecting to SLD

I am trying to create the Jco destinations as part of the ESS and MSS configurations.But, when i login to http://hsotname:port/webdynpro/resources/sap.com/tc~wd~tools~admin/Explorer i am getting the below error.
I have checked SLD status in http://hostname:5XXXXX/webdynpro/resources/sap.com/tc~sld~wd~main/Main , their its showing "SLD running".
We are using Portal version 7.4.
Can anyone tell me what's the problem.

Getting Error while importing FULL SLD in PRD Server

I am trying to import FULL SLD into Production server from QA server. I have exported full SLD from QA server and then try to import the same in the Production. But, while importing it gives me a warning "The selected ALL 1.0 full import belongs to the export line ALL which is not compatible with the export line(s) SAP_CR of previous imports. The data of the selected import may possibly interfere with the previously imported data."
And it shows two options: CANCEL IMPORT, IMPORT ANYWAY
**All the servers are on Xi 7.0 sp08

These errors as mentioned are because of different CR versions and as mentioned in the blog:
1) the source system is not defined in the SLD 2) the target system is not defined in the SLD 3) the association already exist 4) the source system and the target system are in the system business system group

Above error is mainly coming because of 2 reasons:
1) user is locked SLDDSUSER. Please check this user of locked...if it is global user which is used by other system as well to connect to SLD then might be password in any other system will be worng which is causing this user globally locked...
2) Potential reason might be roles of this user is not properly mapped or this user does not contains appropriate roles..Please check SLDDSUSER profile..it must contains all roles...
Please check above if error still persists the paste log again...

Windows 7: Trust Relationship Error - Local Administrator Account Locked.

I have 2 Windows 7 Professional machines that recently locked me out citing the "Trust Relationship between this workstation and primary domain failed".
I assumed all I would have to do is log in as local administrator and remove it from the domain and then re-add it. When I tried to log on, it told me that I have the password was incorrect - which I knew it wasn't. After a
few tries I got a different message that said that the account was locked. No idea how this could have happened. Every other local account was locked as well.
I checked the AD on our 2003 server and I didn't see anything out of the norm. The computers were in the correct OU, and were not disabled in anyway. I searched online for a solution, but they all required me to be able to log on to the local
admin, which is disabled.
I tried to boot to Safe Mode with a Command Prompt and typed in: net user administrator /active:yes .
It told me that the change had been made, but when I reboot it still shows the local account as disabled.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have had this issue twice as well. However I have been always been able to log in with local admin rights. removing then rejoining to domain seems to never get things back to normal for me. Once it is reset and joined back to the domain all software just
seems to be missing but still there at the same time. Like Antivirus shows its installed in c:\program files but its not running. If I go to domain users start menu everything is missing but go into c:\program files and its all there. So every time I have
seen this error a reimage is what I do seems to work a lot better than dealing with the head aches. Sorry I was not any help but that is my two cents.

Error entering administrator name & password to make System Prefs changes

I have been running Leopard with just fine but encountered this new problem today. I wanted to create a "Guest" account, but when I clicked on the lock in the System Preferences: Users screen to add that option, I typde in my administrator name & password and got this error:
"Sorry, you entered an invalid username or password. Please try again."
It accepts my password when logging in, for keychain access, etc... But I'm not able to unlock & make changes with the same username & password. I tried logging in to make the changes in System Preferences under another user who is also an admin, but I got the same error message using that user's name & password.
This is a new problem for me. I unlocked & added a user account for my kids with no problems just last week and haven't made any changes to my password or account name since then.
Any thoughts on how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance!

I'm having a similar problem, since the 10.5.1 upgrade (I downloaded the 110MB version, as Apple readily admits that there are problems when using Software Update for upgrades).
I ran Disk Utility to repair permissions on my boot drive, and it prompted me for my administrator password (something that I've only had to do since the upgrade to 10.5). This time, the user name was blank (usually it fills in the user name with the account name I'm logged in under). I entered the information, and got the error. Double checked everything, and still no luck. After a third attempt, I was told I had to wait a while before trying again.
I'm hoping there's some simple fix or something I can easily to type in. I don't want to wait a few more weeks for Apple to release another patch, and I don't want to have to step back to an even more unstable version so I can use Disk Utility.
