Error in AS2 reciever Communication channel

Hi all,
We are working on Idoc to AS2 scenario using SAP PI 7.1. we have installed the certificates provided by the AS2 partner on the PI system and used them in the Reciever agreement. When trying to test this interface, we are getting the following error in AS2 communication channel:
Message-Verarbeitung fehlgeschlagen. Grund: javax.resource.ResourceException: Fatal exception: javax.resource.ResourceException: SEEBURGER AS2: AS2 Adapter failure # java.lang.Exception: AS2 message composition failed: com.seeburger.ediint.edi.EDIMessageException: EDI message composing failed: signature generation failed: signature generation failed: java.security.NoSuchProviderException: provider BC not found., SEEBURGER AS2: AS2 Adapter failure # java.lang.Exception: AS2 message composition failed: com.seeburger.ediint.edi.EDIMessageException: EDI message composing failed: signature generation failed: signature generation failed: java.security.NoSuchProviderException: provider BC not found.
Can anyone please help us in resolving this?

I am also looking for the same scenarios with Receiver AS2 adapter on PI 7.1
I have noticed that in my AS2 receiver adaper i am not getting AS2 server details instead the conf is different from previous AS2 adapter.
I am getting below options
channel attribute for RTP
Scurity attribute for RTP etc.
can u pls help me whether anything is missing in deployment why I am not getting other optins.
can u also share any conf doc which u hav

Hello,
We have a scenario where we are receving IDoc XML from our partner via AS2.
While doing so,we are receiving following error:
Error while parsing AS2 message: AUTHENTICATION_ERROR #
When we try to send a normal text file,it works,so this cannot be a certificate related issue.
XML header looks like:

Hello,
When I sent the same file from our dev to test system via AS2 ,the content type was application/octet-stream and the file was received successfully.
But when our partner sends it via AS2,content type is application/xml and we get the error I mentioned before.
Does content type has something to do with this problem?

1. A sender AS2 communication channel with protocol as u201Ereports‟
2. A sender agreement using above communication channel.

Cannot see a reciever communication channel in RWB

Hi all,
I have configured a scenario RFC -> XI -> Java proxy. I have created a buiness system "Web As Java" and have assigned a receiver communcation channel to it.
My scenario is not working. When i checck in RWB, i cannot see the reciever communication channel created under this in adapter monitoring. While i have other ABAP systems under same configuration scenario which has other many Comm Channels and are shown.
Can anybody please suggest the possible reason and solution for the same?
Any help will be appriciated.

Hi,
Just check the mentioned possibilities for your error one by one:
1.Did you maintain Client, userid, password, and lang information in SICF transaction -> sap/xi/engine? Double click on service and check whether you have entered correct information.
2.Then you might check the roles of the XIISUSER in SU01. In some case there are some double roles, i.e., two times the role SAP_XI_IS_SERV_USER assigned. One might have the date of the last update, the other one might have apparently the older version. Delete the older roles manually and the error should disappear.
3.to send messages to xi you need a service id / pwd which is specific to your landscape usually its xiappluser. Contact your basis group for password.
4.
Activated all services on the r3 system.
Create HTTP connection to XI from r3
sm59-> http connetons to r3
let us say you have created a HTTP connection in the integrationserver_XI, make sure in its settings the prefix path is set to /sap/xi/engine?type=entry. Also check its log on credentials, you can use xiappluser.
IN Integration builder, receiver communication channel make sure you have entered proper
host service number
path = /sap/xi/enigne?type = receiver.
5. It might also be that you have authorization problems with your XISUPER. In the visual administrator and in ABAP SU01, make your XISUPER has all the necessary(SAP_SLD* and SAP_XI*) roles assigned to it. If not, try to assign these and see if this can be of any help.
6. can you also try the following;
Visual Admin -> start the service,
"com.sap.aii.af.ms.app".

Error in HTTP_AAE receiver communication channel, PI 7.4 dual stack

Dear Experts,
I am facing the below certificate error in HTTP_AAE receiver communication channel while using the third party (bank) private key. Third party bank server is HTTPS enabled, moreover they have generated the public and private keys on their server, and they shared the corresponding private keys in .p12 format to us. Our scenario in SAP PI is synchronous ABAP Proxy to HTTP_AAE, when I see the message in SXMB_MONI after testing, we get he below certificate error, though we have provided the correct path from keystorage view and keystorage entry in HTTP_AAE receiver communication channel
“com.sap.aii.adapter.http.api.HttpAdapterException: ERROR_SENDING_HTTP_REQUEST, sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target”
We have imported the private key provided by bank in Netweaver admin key storage, by following the below steps.
NWA -> Certificates -> Key Storage -> TrustedCA->Import Entry->Entry Type->PKCS#12 Key Pair->select the .p12 file->import.
Please see the attached doc for related screenshots.
Please experts help me experts as this is on high priority from client, also suggest me if I am doing anything wrong here.

Hi Farhaan,
do you have only one certificate or multiple certificate? HTTPS can have 2 or 3 certificates (Root, Intermediate [optional, if any 3rd party person is there in the middle then we can get this certificate] and system certificates).
The issue is with the certificate and it can be because All the certificate is not present or path is not correct.
Please refer the below wiki in which solution is given for this peroblem.

Error at sender JDBC communication channel

Dear All,
While executing JDBC(MS-Access)-PI-RFC interface, we are getting error in sender JDBC communication channel. The error is as following:
Error during database connection to the database URL 'jdbc:odbc:Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};DBQ=
sappidev\Datatran\Database.mdb' using the JDBC driver 'jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver': 'com.sap.aii.adapter.jdbc.sql.DriverManagerException: Can not establish connection:: SQLException: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified'.
I have checked various posts on forums and as per those no drivers installation is required to access MS-Access database and I am not able to find any post which could solve my problem.
Kindly guide me on what might be the problem and how this can be resolved.

Hi Nishu,
That error ALWAYS means your DSN name is incorrect or can't be accessed for some reason (permission). The ODBC part says that the bridge is working.
But that DSN is 100% wrong or cannot be seen by the user account that the server is running as. Make sure you have a system DSN and not a user one.

Reciever communication channel error

hi.
here i am doing a file to bapi,file scenario.
when i set sender file CC as active.
and at sender commnication it processed sucesfully but in the reciever file cc.
its showing error like
Communication channel is correctly configured and started Automatically CD1 File Receiver and there is a symbol in green colour.
but it should be like message processed sucessfully.
and when i see in sxmb_moni
it s showing error like message branched,system error.

Since u have 2 receivers, u ll see this message in sxmb_moni. Message branch indicates splitting of the source message so that it can be send to differetn receivers

Here I am trying send a message from a third party system to an SAP R/3.I had selected the adapter type as File adapter on the sender side and Idoc adapter on the receiver side.While configuring using the Configuration Wizard, the error mentioned above is generated.

Do we have any option to process a single file at a time from the sender location instead of multiple files...i can see processing sequence <bydate> option in nfs but not in FTP.

Getting error in target SOAP communication channel

I am trying to send data from Http client to Webservice.In moni i got a message processed successfully means getting black flag.But i got an error in SOAP Communication channel as "error in response".
I got this message from that error

Source side i dont configure Http adapter.Target side i configured SOAP adapter.In that SOAP adapter i configured these fields.1)Target URL 2)Configure Proxy 3)Configure proxy user authentication.

Hi,
Make sure that you have specified the proper host and port values, in the text box that appears when you check the configure proxy check box(in receiver soap adapter).
Looks like the webservice requires a proxy authentication.
Select the check box "configure proxy user authentication"(in receiver soap adapter) and provide the correct username and password.

Error in JDBC receiver Communication Channel

Hi,
I am facing a problem at receiver communication channel of JDBC adapter. I am gettting the error as,
"com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Channel has reached maximum concurrency(5,000 concurrent Messages) and no free resourse found within 5,000 milliseconds; Increase the maximum Concurrency Level."
I am having the configuration on 4 different nodes. but suddenly only 1 out of 4 is working fine but remaining 3 are throwing this exception. It says to increase Maximum Concurrency level but i want to send only one message through one channel.
Is there a way to rectify this error. I am in deep trouble.
can anyone help me out in solving this issue, Its very greatfull if you do the needy.

Its like this that, there are 5000 messages are waiting for the free resource with in the next 5secs and as it is reached maximum concurrency of 1.
So my question here is,
Is there only one option to increase this value to 2 or more?
Or else do we have any other option to overcome this problem.

Error in Sender JDBC communication channel

Dear All,
We have an interface in which we are fetching data from SQL database through sender JDBC communication channel.
Last week SQL server was upgraded from 2000 to 2008 and the communication channel has stopped working and is giving the following error:
Database-level error reported by JDBC driver while executing statement 'SELECT * FROM mstemp_tbl WHERE Active='0''. The JDBC driver returned the following error message: 'java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC][SQLServer]The incoming tabular data stream (TDS) remote procedure call (RPC) protocol stream is incorrect. Parameter 1 (""): Data type 0x38 is unknown.'. For details, contact your database server vendor.
Please let me know if any JDBC drivers are to be installed for SQL 2008 or how can we resolve this.

Finding a System Error Message (reflected in communication channel)

I am working on release 3.0. I have found a System Error Message reflected in JDBC communication channel due to a data problem. I assume that this message is old and I can not find the message. It seems that I need the exact date and time when the message was created in order to find this message. I would like to find the payload to view the data and cancel the message.
Does anyone have any tips on how to find this sort of message?

Goto Internet Explorer->Tool->Options
and delete all "cookies", "files" offline contents and clear history then try. This is problem related to old cookies stored on your system.
Problem will be solved else revert back.

I am getting an error in communication channel while inserting xml data into ORACLE database. Error is like
"Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'SUB_ORDER_HEADER' (structure 'STATEMENT_SUB_ORDER_HEADER'): java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00936: missing expression ".
In the above error 'SUB_ORDER_HEADER' is table and 'STATEMENT_SUB_ORDER_HEADER' is a statement tag of XML SQL.
Please help me to solve the issue.

Hi,
Since oracle database has all fields in Caps, and also it is case sensitive. So check whether you have the database table name and the field name specified in the datatype are concurrent with the fields and the table name in oracle table.

Basically a XML message.
I am getting below error message for Axis (channel monitoring):
MP: exception caught with cause org.xml.sax.SAXException: Bad envelope tag: MaterialData
Can you please let me know what should be the message format when testing Axis? I do not intend to use any SOAP envelope.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you will only be able to plain message to the Axis sender when using REST. See SAP Note 1039369 FAQ XI Axis Adapter, under Sender Adapter General Question 35.
35. Can I post a plain no-soap request (REST) to the sender adapter servlet?
Yes. You need to include a query parameter rest in the request URL, as http://host:port/XIAxisAdapter/MessageServlet?...&rest. For the availability of this feature, refer to Note 1448849.
All the other messages require a SOAP Envelope.
