Error in automatic grouping of requirements

Hi everyone,
I have a problem when I replicate PR from R/3 to SRM.
Some PR's are not displayed in sourcing cockpit when they have account assignment category (e.g. Cost Center) and do not have vendor. When I execute report BBP_SC_TRANSFER_GROUPED, these PR's appear as if they have source of supply.
Do you know what could be the problem?
I am using SRM 5.5 in classic scenario and ECC.

Hi,
Strange, You mean few items from the same SC are displayed and few or not.
Before running the the report, for the SC, check for this flag in BBP_PD.
Transaction BBP_PD -> Enter the SC -> Go to the item details -> check for field SOURCE_REL_IND.
If the field value is 'X' it is sourcing relevent
If the field value is ' ' it is not sourcing relevent
If the field value is 'Y' it is sourcing completed.
My Guess it could be 'A' or 'D' which means relevent for automatic graouping..
May you compare items and arrive at a conclusion.
Let me know your observations.. It could be interesting..

Automatic creation of requirement for extra consumption in COGI

Dear.
For a production order with a component totally consumed during the backflushing of CO11N I run a new confirmation. The component isnu2019t available , the confirmation is done and the system create for the component an error movement in COGI.
If I see MD04 for this component I donu2019t see any production order requirement for the extra consumption quantity in COGI.
But the planner need to know the quantity that remain to withdrawn.
Which is the reason for the missing automatic creation of requirement for extra consumption in COGI ?

Have you manually edited and input extra qty in CO11N
When backflush is activated and Full qty is confirmed
Then if you perform confirmation second time then form where system will again pick the component
Once again check in production order BOM over view and also in BOM what is the qty given
Can you eloborate more in detail what you have performed ( steps required )

I have create Product Group lots of time without crate a material with PROD material type in IDES,and also I have checked it on other client DEV server its creating properly,and one thing ,if I entered Product Group & did not saved and again try to create it again ,it gives error that the Product group is already exists. Why it is happened?
But why it is not allowing me to create at my end.

For regular text fields I am using field.validate.nulltest="error" or field.validate.nulltest="disabled" however for the exclusion groups thats not working.

Thanks for your response. It seems the code was ok the problem was that the behaviour of the exclusion groups is different depending on Version and wheter the form is static or dynamic.

Error syncronizing automatically the Scheme

Hi there,
Im trying to generate an XML file from my oracle table. I have setup all the physical and logical schema. I have created the model by reverse engineering the XSD and used it in the interface. I have issued the Command Synchronize all on IKM SQL Control Append(on target pointing to XML Logical scheme).
Now, When I execute the interface, ODI throws an error saying "Error syncronizing automatically the Scheme". I couldnt able to figure out where I have gone wrong. Have anyone been through this issue?

Hi Debraj,
Check whether the Group GL Account No. is mentioned in the first tab. If so, remove that, because from your message it seems that Group Chart of Accounts is not assigned to your Operational Chart of Accounts. So remove that and you should be able to save your GL with the change.

Deactivate the automatic determination of Requirement type

How can i deactivate the automatic determination of Requirement type for a particular transaction (eg.va01).
I know it is determined automatically based on one of the following
1.Strategy group assigned to the materiaL master.
2.MRP group in material master.
3.Material type
4.Item category and MRP type.
5.Item category.
I want this to be deactivated for a particular transaction. How do i do it?

Hi,
As soon as you save an order.VA01..the requriements of each line item are trasnferred to MM/PP depending on the planning strategy chosen for each material at the material master record. Therefore there is no chance of deactive the requriement type.
I'm not sure but try this exist,
V45S0003 MRP-relevance for incomplete configuration
V45S0004 Effectivity type in sales order.

I created a custom security extension following the steps listed in the Readme_Security Extension Sample. It works fine if I login as the user that is specified AdminConfiguration section of the rsreportserver.config file but if I
log in as another user, I get this error: User '' does not have required permissions. Verify that sufficient permissions have been granted and Windows User Account Control (UAC) restrictions have been addressed. I've added the user to both System Administrator
and System User roles to try to get it to work but still no luck.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

The issue is due to that user have no permission to access the report server. In report manager, Reporting Services includes predefined roles that we can assign to users and groups to provide immediate access to a report server. Each role defines a collection
of related tasks.
You can refer to the following steps to assign corresponding role to the user.
Open report manager.
Click “Folder Setting” button.
Click “New Role Assignment” icon.
Type the user name and select the corresponding role.

Database, Dataset, Table Adaptors Error "Unable to load, Update requires a valid DeleteCommand when passed DataRow collection with deleted row"

Microsoft Visual Basic 2010 Express.
I am new to Visual Basic programing and i am trying to understand the relationships between Datasets, database, table Adaptors. I have to following code that is is giving me the following error" Unable to load, Update requires a valid DeleteCommand
when passed DataRow collection with deleted rows".
I can track the error and its located in "OffsetTableTableAdapter.Update(MaterionOffsetDataSet.OffsetTable)" code. What am i missing?
It seems that i can delete the data on the DataGridView Table and it only displays the correct data. but my database is not updating, even though the data grid displays differently.I can determine this because, when i save the offset database, i have all
the previous uploads and all the rows that i wanted to delete are still there.
My final goal is to be able to import offset data from a CSV file, save this data on the pc, send a copy of this data to a NuermicUpDown so the customer can modify certain numbers. From here they download all the date to a controller. IF the customer
needs to modify the imported data, they can go to a tab with a data grid view and modify the table. They will also have to option to save the modified data into a csv file.
Im not sure if i am making this overcomplicated or if there is a easier way to program this.

This error usually shows that you do not initialize the
DeleteCommand object, you could check this
article to see if you get a workaround.

If you are working CSV file, you could use OleDB to read it which would treat the CSV file as a Table:

IF there are any User-exit available to resole this issue ?

Rather than the use-exit, I suggest you to discuss this with configuration consultant who can make some change on the configuration and eliminate the error.

Error checking transport group configuration in System BQS

Hi Everyone,
I made a client export from Production to Quality. It went successfully,, I noted the requests numbers and transported them from PRD to Quality, but while transporting there was a tp error(which i did not note), next i went to the quality import queue and saw all the 3 requests had come. But when i click the adjust queue icon im getting the following error message "Error checking transport group configuration in System BQS" . Afterwards i tried to delete the requests from quality to retransport from production but still im not able to delete those requests from quality. Can anyone help me solve this.

regarding the error message:
"Error checking transport group configuration in system"
It's mostly related to the TMSADM RFC destination. Kindly follow the below mention steps:
1. Logon to client 000 with user DDIC.
2. STMS > System > Overview > Select the system in which you are logged in > Click on the menu says EXTRAS > Generate RFC Destinations
Perform the above steps in all the systems configure in your TMS. This should resolve the issue.

J2ee1.4 installation error - there are no files requiring installation

hi all,
i downloaded the j2ee sdk 1.4 bundle and installed successfully on my suse 8.2. however when i tried doing it on another suse 8.2 machine using the same bundle i got an error that says :
There are no files requiring installation - here's all the output -
Checking available disk space...
Checking Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment...
Launching Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment...
Error: There are no files requiring installation.
Deleting temporary files...
i'm new to j2ee so plz, if any one knows how to get around this, let me know.

This message will be issued if files necessary for installation are not found once the self-extracting executable extracts its content. If you successfully used same distribution file to install on another machine, it is very likely that the distribution file got corrupted while being moved from one system to another.
If you use ftp to transfer files between systems, make sure that you transfer file in binary mode.
If you don't have the original distribution file anymore, you might need to download the distribution again.

BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN error : Fill in all the required fields

Hi All
I am facing an error in BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN in ECC 6.0. While creating WBS elemnts for existing project, I have disabled the field Responsible Cost center in the configuration.However it is still taking that field as mandatory and giving the error : Fill in all the required entry fields.
It is working fine in 4.6C with the same configuration settings.
Please let me know what configuration i missed in ECC 6.0 or how can I make the responsible Cost Centre as not a mandatory field.
Please Note: I have checked the checkbox Accnt assignment Elem due to which the field Responsible Cost cnter becomes a mandatory field.

I do not need to create a prject by BAPI as it is not the requirement. My query is why is the BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN in ECC 6.0 taking the field Responsible CC as mandatory field even when it has been disabled. Whereas it is working absolutely fine in 4.6C(Responsible CC has been disabled and is not mandatory anymore).
Also, if I can get to know how can i change the settings of Responsible CC to make it as a non-mandatory field.

Error during automatic PR to PO creation

Hi,
We are getting the following error while automatically converting PR to PO thorugh ME59N:
"Internal system error during blocking"
Message Class - 06 and Message Number - 002.
Can anyone suggest that what exactly is this error and how to rectify this.
We have checked all the Lokced entry list in the system, but none of the tables/objects related to MM are locked.
FYI, on the selection screen of ME59N we are just specifying the plant and vendor number, as all PR for this vendor need to be converted in PO in one-go.

Kindly check if Material , vendor is locked bu any user ...You can restart the server and then try...
Or ask basis guy to check if any Lock entries are there...
Also if still you are facing this error then make this Error message as Warning messsage and then try...
