I get the same error ( (ERROR) nssock: Cannot listen on host bin/ in port 7180. it may already be in use for AF_INET6) booting the domain on a SuSE Linux box.  I switched the port to 7190 thinking it might be a conflict, but get the same message in the PSRENSRV log each time I boot the domain.  Despite the fact that this error recurs in the logs, the service shows as listening on the port ... however RENSERV is not working at all ... test page ping can't find it.
update ... I'm all fixed up now.  There were a series of unrelated items leading me down rabbit holes.  The first of which was my domain was booting, and I could see the port was listening via netstat ... situations around the above error all involved a domain not booting.  I was also receiving a "Error retrieving REN server URL from database" in PSUQSRV and PSMCFLOGs which was an erroneous message you get about REN when MCF is turned on.  In the end it turns out this little demo web/app box was in a DMZ, and they missed a firewall rule for that port ... no one had run into anything that used REN until now. I set up a temp domain on a machine out of the DMZ that just does REN for now ... they're in the middle of a firewall migration and probably wouldn't be in maintenance mode for a demo system

Make sure that you have fileRealm.properties in place and it is not screwed.

  • ERROR while enrolling the iOS developer program

    Hello there,
I've been trying all day long to enroll the iOS developer program, but I keep getting the same error over and over again.
I've double-checked my details multiple times, I've confirmed my email and everything they request, my Apple ID is also confirmed and active.
    Here's what happens:
    1) I get to step #3 of the enrollment process ("Review and Submit"). See screenshot:
    2) When I click on the CONTINUE button, I *always* get the following error:
In short: I cannot get past from step #3 ("Review and Submit") into step #4 ("Agree to License"). I always get prompted the same error no matter what. I've been trying all day long.
    Any ideas?
Thank you very much in advance!

    Thanks for reply.
I re-downloaded and its working now.
    thanks alot

  • SUPPersistenceException : Error in Synchronizing the iOS app from SMP 2.3

    Hello All,
I am new to SMP, and i have started with creating a new project in native iOS consuming the MBO's from SMP 2.3.

    Hi Jitendra,
I am using the sample SMP101 Project provided by Sybase which you can find here.
SAP Mobile Platform 2.3 and prior
I have deployed my own MBO and have modified the project as per it. I am able to establish the connection with SMP server but it is giving error on the highlighted line while synchronising:

  • Acpi:error when booting the install

    Hi guys,
So I want to install Arch, but when I boot into the install USB I directly see the following error:
ACPI: ERROR installing CMOS-RTC region handler
I saw here that apparently it's a kernel bug since the 3.15.3 version. The latest download has the 3.15.7 version.
First, I wanted to know if others came across this issue while installing.
I also wondered if it's worth to install with an older kernel (if possible) or just wait for a fix..

It doesn't block you from proceeding with install right?
If so, that just ignore it and proceed with install.
Your resulting installation will use most up-to-date kernel which is also "3.15.7-1-ARCH" (as of now) so that might indicate, that you might see this error also after installation.
Nevertheless, it's a not a deal-breaker, and just without looking into it much deeper it doesn't sound critical (CMOS Real Time Clock, is indeed not critical piece of system), tough you might see some problems with RTC subsystem.
Quickly skimming over the thread you linked, I don't see any relevant symptoms people are having there.  I see different errors in my journal during boot. Reported as errors, but to be understood as warnings.
It's not so much beneficial to get over-excited about every red line in your journal, if there is not any documented real negative side-effects, usually this small issues tend to come and go, but it's always good to keep an eye on them.
If it bothers you though, you can install with downgraded kernel (but I don't think this error justifies doing so).

  • There is always an error installing the ios, why? I need help, ty

Why is it that there is always an error in installing the ios update 6.0.1. I need help. Ty

What iOS are you currently running?
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.0.1. For the iPad Mini the iOS is 6.0.2. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily.  Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

  • IPhone 5 - Crashed and Erased all data including the IOS on the device.

    Ok, So here's the thing.
I was using my iPhone 5 as normal patrolling facebook to see what people are getting up to when all of a sudden the phone display goes pixilated and crashes, The phone itself rebooted without me pushing any buttons and loaded as normal with the apple logo as it does. I get to my lock screen and enter my password. After entering the 4th digit of my passcode my phone begins to unlock and then again crashes for a 2nd time. This time however I have to manually shut the phone off and turn it back on. Upon turning the device back on instead of receiving the Apple logo to show that the phone is booting the IOS, I receive the ITunes logo and the USB connection lead; Upon connected my phone to ITunes to restore my phone to factory so I could reinstall IOS 6 I'm continuously getting the error code (-1).
I need to know if anybody else is having this issue with their phone.
    My phone spec as follows
    iPhone5
    32GB
    Black

No, I've got a new replacement for it today Apple checked the phone swiftly and got a working one within 2 days of me posting it. Must have been faulty data storage device.

  • 2960X-48FPS-L does not boot with IOS 15.2-2E

    Hello,
i got a bunch of 2960X switches. But some of them do not boot with the new IOS Version. The older 15.0-2 EX do boot.
Does anybody have a clue why this happens? During the Bootprocess it just stops to load:
File "flash:/c2960x-universalk9-mz.152-2.E.bin" uncompressed and installed, entry poin0x3000
    executing...
    Loading "flash:/c2960x-universalk9-m
    Thank you for your help.

On the ones that cannot boot 15.2(2)E, can you break the boot cycle using the "Mode" button?
If the answer is "yes", then try the following:
    1.  Copy the IOS BIN file from a working switch to a USB flash drive;
    2.  In ROMmon, force the switch to boot the IOS from your USB flash drive;
    3.  If it does not work, try a different IOS, like the EX3 for instance.  Try the same process, boot the BIN from your USB flash drive.
    4.  If it works, try a different IOS, like EX3, for instance.  Downgrade the IOS from 15.2(2)E to EX3 and see if the switch can boot normally.
This exercise will determine where the fault is coming from:  IOS bug or a hardware batch problem.
To determine if you'e got a hardware batch problem, you may need to look at the serial number of the switches working and not working.  From left to right, look at the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th numerals.  This will determine the year and month your appliances were made.
