Error in BP when saving a transaction type

Hi Gurus!!! first of all merry xmast!!!
I need you help since I cannot see where the error is. I am using CRM 7.0 and in the UI when saving a transaction I get the following errors "The region 00 is not defined for country" and "The country is not set". I have made the following verifications:
UI
--> Assingment Block: Parties involved I have checked that both the customer and employee responsible have the country and region
--> The transaction type used does not have the field "country".
GUI
--> PPOMA_CRM: I checked that the organization has the country set.
-->BP :I double checked that the BPs customer and employee responsible have the country and region assigned.
What`s wear is that I seem to be the only one who has this error so I`m reallly confused on how to solve it.

Hi,
Is this happening for all the types of Transactions like Sales, Service, etc.? Is that data that you are using is proper? And can you check if the countries are properly maintained in the system? Check if the country is a mandatory parameter or some country specific checks are executed in the system.
You can check for the countries in the System from transaction code - SPRO -> SAP NetWeaver -> General Settings -> Set Countries -> Specify Countries for mySAP Systems.

Business Transaction Profile - Error when using Z-Transaction Type

Dear Experts,
we are using SAP CRM 7.0 (Support Level 0007 - SAPKU70007). I have created a Z-Business Transaction Profile Z_IC_SERVICE.
SAP Help says:
Enter the transaction type to be used as a default in your scenario in the IC WebClient. For example, choose the transaction type 0010 (Interaction Record) if an interaction record is to be created automatically. The system creates this interaction record automatically after the interaction has started (for example, after accepting a call). During this, the activity clipboard in the interaction record is filled with the relevant data.
So when I am using the transaction type 0010 (Interaction Record) in my Business Transaction Profile all is OK that means I can search for accounts and I can confirm them to go on with the process.
BUT: When I entering here a Z Transaction Type (Z000) the systems shows the errors:
- Error occurred in class CL_ICCMP_CUCOIREC_IMPL, event InteractionStarted.
- Error occurred in class CL_ICCMP_CUCOIREC_IMPL, event BPConfirmed.
Then I have made a copy of the transaction type 0010 (Name of copy: Z010) and tried to use it in my Business Transaction Profile the system says:
Customizing settings missing. Assign partner functions to Z010
Anybody know what to do and where to avoid errors? Note 1346892 is obsolete in this case because we already have the highest Support Package Level.

Hi yes you were right. In the case of both transaction type I have corrected the customizing parameters in
SPRO -> Customer Relationship Management -> Interaction Center WebClient -> Business Transaction -> Assign Partner Functions to Business Transactions
In the case of Transaction Type Z010 I had Z-Partner Functions and and that leaded to the errors:
- Error occurred in class CL_ICCMP_CUCOIREC_IMPL, event InteractionStarted.
- Error occurred in class CL_ICCMP_CUCOIREC_IMPL, event BPConfirmed.
In case of the Transaction TYPE Z000 I forgot to assign the Partner Functions that is why this error appeared:
Customizing settings missing. Assign partner functions to Z010

Error Messages even before saving a transaction

Hi,
Is there a way to restrict the standard messages poping up even before saving the transactions.
In the opportunities, all the mandatory fields errors were shown after the first roundtrip to the server, but that should happen ideally after the save button is pressed.
Can anybody help us in resolving this issue..

We have a requirement in our project, can someone please confirm that this can be acheived with server based groupware integration.
1. Metting requests: Whenever we create activities(of type review), a meeting request should be sent to all the attendees and should block the calander of the attendee.
2. User should be able to see the availablility of the attendee, like scheduling assistant in outlook.
3. Meeting requests should be sent from a generic ID rather than the individual ids. (eg., crmsupport)
4.Contacts should be synchronized automatically between SAP CRM to Outlook private folders and vice versa.
We are currently implementing CRM 6.0.
We are finding a challenge from our basis team that they cant provide generic access for accessing the contacts on the exchange server.
Can anyone please guide us how to go about this. Will server based groupware integration work for this scenario..

How can I disable "download error" dialog box when saving a complete web page?

Sometimes, when I try to save a web page as type: "Web Page, complete", firefox displays download error dialog box stating a file "could not be saved, because the source file could not be read."
I don't have a problem with firefox couldn't save that file, but I have a problem with firefox displaying that dialog box, because I have to click OK everytime.
Is there a way to disable that annoying dialog box?

I modified the host file mainly to block ads. But that's not the problem. It's OK for me for firefox to not saving some parts of a page (ads usually within a frame). It's my intention to NOT saving those files. I just want to save the main content of a webpage.
But I'm having a problem with firefox displaying the dialog boxes.

Odd error message given when saving a file to a secondary drive.

I am running Photoshop CS3 Extended on a Windows XP Pro, with SP2 installed. The computer has two hard drives installed. On all previous versions of Photoshop I've been able to save a file to my 2nd hard drive easily by typing "D:\image.jpg"
When I try to do the same in Photoshop CS3 I get an error message that says "could not save as d:\d:\image.jpg because the file name was invalid"
So I have to hit SHIFT+CTRL+S then type "d:\" and then type a file name, making it a 2 step procedure to save a file now. If I don't follow this procedure, and just type the filename it saves the file on drive C:\ in a subdirectory.
Obviously it's a path error, but I've never had a problem with a straight out command "D:\image.jpg" on previous versions and looking at the Preferences options or doing a search for this error didn't shed any light on this issue. Thanks for any feedback on this problem.

It seems that the "explorer" function is already set to drive D:\, as evidenced by the error message. If the file came from D:\, or you have been saving to D:\, then you will not type "D:\" into the file name, as both the ":" and the "\" are forbidden characters.
As a test, Open a file from C:\, then Save to C:\. Now, Do a Save_As and try typing "d:\image.jpg." It should do this, without the error message.
Just a note: you may have simplified the path for your post, but otherwise, it's not a good practice to save any file into the root of a drive - always do a folder. If this was for done as an example only, then ignore my caveat.

IDVD09 Multiplexing Error formating disk, when saving to a disk image

I am able to burn a disk but when I to to save a disk image, after four hours of churn, when it goes to write the image, I get " Multiplexing error in formating disk" and iDVD quits. This is a real pain and very time consuming and happens every time I try to save a disk image from the project. Any ideas on how to get around this would be appreciated.

I am up to latest software 10.5.6/ I am saving disk image to internal 450 GB drive. I found that I was suprisingly low on empty space (14GB) that might have been my problem. I recently uloaded a buch of video (like almost 3 hours, did not realize how close I was to being ful!I will post here tomorrow after I go the 5 hours again to make another pass at the Disk image!

Error messages ignored when saving an invoice

Error messages are ignored when an approver saves an invoice. Though messages are still displayed after the check action - It doesn't stop the approver from saving the invoice.

File Error: Unknown File when saving

I tried to save my project to the drive I've been working in and saving all day. And all of a sudden Im getting a new error: File Error: Unknown File. What's that all about? It saved fine to another drive.

"error while printing" when saving

A really odd thing started happening today: when I hit Apple + S to save a document, it first pops up the save progress box, but after a few seconds a 2nd box appears with a mesage saying "Print. error while printing."
I'm just trying to save, not to print. Any ideas what's going on?

on the wife's g4 powerbook, added a network-shared printer, attempts to print to it result in:

Error unknown message when saving ai file

Several days ago I got an external hard drive to backup. Had an error message saying all wasn't saved right. I use CS2 suite, all works fine except my illustrator files will not save as ai. They will save as jpeg, pdf, eps, but not ai. Error unknown message window popsup. Also 3/4 of my file names have turned from black to blue. I have reinstalled CS2 and this didn't fix the problem. What went wrong? How can this be fixed? I'm working on a book using Illustrator files alot.

PC - Windows, no fonts were installed. Only the ai files are affected. But nearly 3/4 of all file extension names have changed from black to blue. No big deal on that, but the ai saving is very upsetting.

Adobe illustrator window gets minimized when saving custom file type.

I had created a new file type . When I try to save a document in the newly created file type the Adobe illustrator window gets minimized (restored).

I tried ringing Adobe and after creating a new user account on my system and logging into that, I was then able to use illustrator. This is okay but not ideal as I don't want to have to switch between accounts each time I want to access my files. Any ideas on how to solve this? I have tried uninstalling and deleting preference files again but still the same problem...?

Error 7 produced when saving to a spread sheet file using a compact rio

Im having a little difficultly saving to a spread sheet file using a compact rio. I bundled the data from a NI 9215 with a timer and stuck it into an x-y graph and that works fine as it goes round in shift registers. But then I passed the data out of my while loop unbundled it, turned it into a 2d array and tried to write it into a spread sheet file using the appropriate i/o vi provided by labview 8.2. I have hooked up all the requirements like format, and file path. But it keeps returning error 7 and says that my file path is incorrect. I’ve tried using a constant file path, ive tried creating the file before running the program, ive tried just writing the file straight to a disk in this case h:\test.asc but every time it comes back with error 7. I then went to a lab downstairs to see how they did it and the method I’m using it works down there but is exactly the same as mine upstairs. I’m a little confused by this one.
Any pointers would be much appreciated.

I apologise I didn’t specify I was only using a NI cRIO-9004 not realising you could get ones that had a USB port. I thought mine would behave in the same way as a DAQ device and write the file back onto the main computer hard drive. Is this not what happens if not how do you make it do that. The computer is a networked system with its own C:\ harddrive, but my personal space is on H:\ which must be like a pretend hard drive, or alternatively can you make the cRIO write it to a memory stick within a USB port of the programming PC itself. Or can you write onto memory of cRIO but then how do you download the data?
Also I apologise that I posted the message twice only did cos I thought it might be in the wrong forum.

An unexpected error occurred (error code -50) when saving to ext HD.

I have an external USB Raid configured 2x3T config for a total of 3T of storage. It was working fine and now when I try to save to the hard drive I get: The operation can’t be completed. An unexpected error occurred (error code -50). Any suggestions? I have reset the PRAM, ran disk utility, restarted the computer, restarted the hard drive etc with no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated because I cannot find any help on the internet.

when copying to a FAT32 formatted drive or using SMB for file transfer. Can also be a Permissions problem, usually on the receiving end, & in the old days could happen if a file had forks...

Mds error in console when saving document

I keep having this error in the console every time I save a document I am working on.
mds[39]: (Warning) FMW: event:1 had an arg mismatch. ac:2 am:51
Can I just ignore it since it's seems related to spotlight or can it be document corruption.
Save as, etc.. does not fix the problem.

After getting this mds warning message every time I save my document, the file showed a some point a very strange behavior in the finder.
The file appears in it's container folder normally but then disappears by itself after a second or so.
Clicking in another folder and then back to the first folder brings back the file for a few seconds then it disappears again. I have never seen anything like this.
I looked into the folder with "ls -la" in the terminal, and the file was renamed "--" instead of it's original name.
Here it is in path finder :
fsck -fy shows no problem
onyx cache cleaning, etc.. no problem
virus check : no problem
spotlight index rebuilted.
This appends with this file even after save as, etc..
I am a bit worried now. I have backups of this current work file, but the mds warning keeps coming out at every save.

Pl do below 2 things:
1 ) Go to Transaction code = OMBA , Click on Goods receipt Documen type button and check whether MIGO_GR is assigned to DOC Type = WE
2 ) Go to Transaction code = OMJJ , Tick Movement type and select 101 Movement type .
Then You need to click on "Allowed Transaction option ( Left pane ) and see whether transaction code MIGO is mentioned for Movement type 101.
it should solve ur problem.
