Hi Folks,
I developed one WDC for seletoptions with tabstrip.Component is activatedwithout any error.But in browser iam getting error attribute could not find.How i will debug this WDA application without seeing any thing on browser

Error while browsing RSViewer.aspx in SSRS

Hi,
I am getting the below error while browsing the RsViewer.aspx (Or rdl file). I have moved the rdl file from one environment (where I could browse the rdl file) to another environment. In the new environment, I am getting the below error while browing
the rdl file. Both environments are having the same configuration (SQL server 2008 R2 SP3).
"Type 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.PlaceHolder' does not have a public property named 'style' "

According to your description, after you move SSRS report from one server to another, you got the error message when you preview the repot: Type 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.PlaceHolder' does not have a public property named 'style'.
As per my understanding, you are using object of System.Web.UI.WebControls.PlaceHolder while a different type was expected, this different type has style properties, which were needed for the report to run properly. It seems that you should be using System.Web.UI.WebControls.Style.

Linux j2se 1.4.2 INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: no manager for initializing

I have just installed j2sdk1.4.2_04 and NetScape 7.1 on Redhat Linux 9. After following the instruction to enable java in the browser by issuing the command:
ln -s /usr/java/j2sdk1.4.2_04/jre/plugin/i386/ns610/libjavaplugin_oji .
(note the final period)
then restarting browser, I get the following message:
INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: no manager for initializing factory.
If I remove the link, the browser starts working again (without java).
I have looked in the search engines, other people are having this problem, but I did not find the cure there.

There are two versions of the plugin shared object, one for elder and one for newer versions of the C compiler. Did you pick the right shared object? If you are not sure, try the other one.

The parameter is incorrect Error when browsing by name

I have a domain setup, When i try to browse my "servername - share" i recieve the following error
"servername - share" is not accessible. you might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
the parameter is incorrect.
if i browse "ip address - share" i get in no problem
also if i browse by fully qualified domain name the the directories are empty

Please try to use UNC name to access the folder to check the result.
Also, try to use another account for test or using another client to access the share folder.

Workspace error: hps.browser is not configured

We have installed and configured Planning and our users access Planning via Workspace. They access Workspace using the URL: http://hostname:19000/workspace/index.jsp
I have one user that gets an error when she logs into Workspace. The error is:
“Required application module hps.browser is not configured. Please contact your administrator.”
A little bit of background on our environment:

<li>We are on System 9.3.1.5.
<li>Shared Services user authentication has been externalized to MSAD.
<li>When they log into Workspace, users are shown a list of reports. A native Shared Services group called “Hyp_World” is granted access to all reports. The Hyp_World group has been provisioned the following roles in Shared Services:
<ul>
<li>Analytic Servers: Server Access
<li>Hyperion System 9 BI+ : Explorer
<li>Hyperion System 9 BI+ : Viewer
<li>Planning : Interactive User
<li>Planning : Planner
<li>Planning : Offline User
</ul>
<li>All MSAD users are members of the Hyp_World group
<li>The user that is receiving the error is also a member of the following native Shared Services groups:
<ul>
<li>Hyp_Acct_Salary
<ul>
<li>Membership in this group restricts access to salary data within Planning

When this user logs into Workspace she gets the error: “Required application module hps.browser is not configured. Please contact your administrator.” None of the other 4 users that are members of the Hyp_Ent_IFS group get this error.
The user (with the error) can access Planning data via SmartView so it can’t be an MSAD authentication issue. After she gets the error in Workspace, if she clicks OK to get past the error, she can navigate to Planning and access her data. She doesn’t see the list of reports and hence cannot execute any of them.
I’ve looked through the Essbase server log and the Planning Application log and didn’t find anything. I’ve looked through the Workspace log and didn’t find anything there either.
I’ve removed the user from all 3 Shared Services groups, refreshed Security Filters, added her back in, refreshed Security Filters and she still gets the error. None of the other 4 users in the Hyp_Ent_IFS native group have this error when they log into Workspace. They see the list of reports.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there some debug parameter that I can turn on to see additional log data as she logs into Workspace to determine why she is getting this error while none of the other 4 users in the same group are not?

Turns out the user's preferences was set to open to Scorecard. Since we don't use Scorecard those services are not up and hence the error "hps.browser is not configured". I had her change her preference to default to Explore and now she is able to login without error.

Hi, I have a problem and do not know what to do to solve it.
I'm doing my web move. In the Design tab and Preview the entire composition is ok, I see everything perfect (video and text)
But when I preview in the browser or ftp stay in a text disappear me, the images move from site, the videos also disappear some.
Why is? What do I do wrong?
I put three pictures of the process. Why do the videos and text appearing on your site??

The html embed youtube videos (that personalize as) had a parameter mismatch makes everything.

JavaScript Error Unsupported browser!

Since the Safri update a few days ago, a handful of webpages produce a "javaScript error Unsupported browser!" error message. The message appears 4 seperate times with the option to hit OK. The message has appeared on YouTube as well as on this Support page.
I have run a Software update severla times since the upgrade (as well as after my Mountain Lion uprage). This has not addressed the problem.
Any ideas on a fix?

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. Launching Firefox this morning, it shows me an error message error "lanching browser window:no XBL binding for browser" and when I click OK, it closes.
Why this can happen (missing a file?) And what is the solution?

Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
*Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

Fact table with datetime measure showing #value error while browsing the cube

Hi All,
I have a cube with a fact table having datetime measure.
when I browse the cube, I am able to see the data for all measures except for the measure with the datetime as datatype.

Hi,
The error is occurred when you have a SSRS report with SharePoint Integration Mode.
I recommend to add the below entry to the web.config for the "SharePoint" web app that your report is running under.
<add key="aspnet:MaxHttpCollectionKeys" value="100000" />
You can also increased the timeout value to 10 on rsreportserver.config .
In addition, you can change the TCP Port.

Error in Browser field of XML Form

Hi All,
We have recently upgraded our portal system from NW 7.00 (SP23) to NW 7.01 (SP09).
Post upgrade we are facing an issue in XML forms for file browser element.
On the XML forms we have an element u201Cfile browseru201D which we use for attaching documents as attachments in the XML forms.
After upgrade, when we select a document using this element u201Cfile browseru201D, the file path is getting uploaded in the field without the file name. Hence after saving the XML forms when we try to display it and open the attachment in the XML forms, it is giving the following error.

u2022 Access the folder as a Web folder. Your operating system and browser dictate whether or not this will work.
Example : Suppose we are attaching a file f1.xls in /documents/images folder, the path captured in the browser textbox is /documents/images (it should be /documents/images/f1.xls).
This was working fine before the upgrade to NW 7.01 SP09.
Our system is already running LIVE on production and we are facing major issues due to this problem. Kindly provide a solution at the earliest.

ECC Transaction iView Error on Browser Resize

Hello.
I have created hundreds of SAP ECC Transaction iViews in the portal. After doing some testing, I realized that any time a browser window is modified when an ECC transaction iView is within display, the resize causes the transaction iView to refresh. Upon refreshing, the transaction throws error or works as if the user submitted the transaction on the backend, instead of just remaining in the same state.
For instance, if you have an SAP Transaction iView to an ECC system for tcode QM01 and it is accessible through the Detailed Navigation, this iView can be opened either in its own browser window, or within the desktop inner page. If configured to pop-up in a new browser window and you click or drag to resize the browser window, the transaction refreshes, and throws the error: "Fill in all required entry fields." This is the same error that is thrown in ECC when a user submits the transaction with no data. Similarly, if you have the iView configured to open within the portal framework and you click on the transaction it opens in the desktop inner page. If you maximize/restore down the browser window displaying the portal, the transaction refreshes within the desktop inner page and throws this same error, like it was submitted.
It happens with every ECC transaction iView that I have created, but does not happen with SRM IAC iViews, Web DynPro iViews, or SUS functionality iViews. This leads me to believe it is a problem in ITS. Does anyone know what is going wrong, or how to fix this?

Hi,
Super admin has permission for end user for all the iViews. So he will be able to view the iView. As mentioned, please check if the end user permission is given for the end user to access the iView. Also check if the permission is given for that particular system. To check permissions, go to System Administration -> Permissions -> Portal permissions -> Portal Content. Check for iView and system that you have created.
