Error in Cache notifiaction in IR

Hi Team,
We are running PI 7.0 SP14 in HPUX Oracle environment. We have set up CTS transports according to the SAP documentation. The export from dev repository, release and import in quality system integration environment is working very fine, no problem on that side. But when we check the IR - Cache notifications its in Red status and the user responsible is nwdi_ctsadm then we have to manually trigger the notification then it goes into green status. The problem is only in IR of our quality server.
Is this behavior is normal? I also checked the How to handle cahces in Xi3.0 and everything looks perfect except the roles for nwdi_ctsadm and sicf-service-sap-xi (not all services are active)
I cross checked the above with production box and configured same (Sicf services and user profile for nwdi_ctsadm), there it is working fine (IR-cache notifications)
Please let us know is this common process or anything wrong in the quality configuration

Thanks for your answer. But this issue is only with NWDI_CTSADM in quality system which imports the IR objects, the same user is used in production also but no issues in Cache notifications in production
So do you think we should again re-visit that document and start from the 1st page of the document?

Error in Cache Notification .."CPASchemaException"

Hello gurus,
Our XI tech consultant is facing an error in Cache Notifications. He thinks its a installation/configuration problem from the basis side. Now i am new to XI, don't really know where to start.
Here's the background :
1. He is configuring a File 2 File scenario as a demo in XI.
2. Believe he has configured sender and receiver communication channels.

Also When we try to display end-to-end monitoring, we get a pop-up for authentication, we enter XIRWBUSER and password and it fails with authentication error. I have checked XIRWBUSER's authorization and also double checked the password.

I have checked all the rfc's in sm59 and they all test successfully, Also checked if they were registered on the gateway, they were.
Looks like JCO is not able to connect to ABAP. Message server settings look fine, checked services file (port=3600).
Any ideas folks ??

Wondering if anyone could answer... The setup is the same (XP SP3, Coherence 3.7.1.0). GetValues(null) returns different number of values every time.
More information: the serialized type has just one string property X; push 40000 such items into cache, then making GetKeys(null) followed by GetValues(null) call with 1 sec interval (cache is pre-populated with 40000 items, no insertions/deletions happening):
Keys 40000, Values 20377.
Cache is just one storage enabled proxy with schema taken from Coherence example configuration.
I understand, calling GetValues with null argument is not the smartest thing to do, but the problem is that it affects the number of items returned by the GetValues with a filter passed...

Your problem seems to be about the list of projects in JDeveloper when there are many projects..
My problem is very different because I have only 3 projects in the application and the problem occurs when deploying to manually added Integrated Web Logic Installation with the domain that I created (not the DefaultDomain created by JDeveloper)..
In any case, I tried to delete system11.1.1.5.37.60.13, start JDeveloper, and it re-creates the folder. I then re-create the additional IntegratedWebLogic server instance in the application server navigator and try to run my application using that instance of integrated web logic.
The error still happens.

Deployment Msg: Error instantiating compiler: IO error writing cache

When i try to deploy to my OC4J server from jDeveloper I get the following:
Auto-deploying csldc-ejb.jar (ejb-jar.xml had been touched since the previous deployment)... Error compiling D:\OC4J903\j2ee\home\applications\CSLDC/csldc-ejb.jar: Error instantiating compiler: IO error writing cache: D:\OC4J903\j2ee\home\application-deployments\CSLDC\csldc-ejb.jar\deployment.cache
If I restart my container manually after the deployment the app works. But this is a pain in the ...
Any ideas on how to fix this? I think whats happening is the app server is trying to deploy the file before its finished recieving the file.

This was an OC4J bug. Applying patch 6058645 fixed the problem.

IO error writing cache during ejb deployment

I am getting this error a lot when I deploy an ear to standalone oc4j. This happens when I run from the command line or from jdeveloper. Retrying it eventually works, sometimes to speed things up I shutdown oc4j and remove the file. Is there some way to prevent this from happening.

This was a known issue before the preview release.
Workaround for the problem would be to change the Application name and EAR file name.
If you have the EJB deployment profile, Right mouse on it and choose Settings.
Change the name of the EAR file and the Application name and redeploy.

Error during cache refresh

Hi guys,
In my scenario XI to R3 via ABAP Proxy. In cache R/3 side shows me two red triangles: unable to refresh content and an error during last update. The error id BUSINESS_SYSTEM and the message is: NO INTEGRATION SERVER.
Yesterday admin team changes the physical machine! I already create a new technical system and a new business system and import the BS to ID with a same name! I need create all the objects again: receiver interface, determination, etc?
I also check the transactions SLDAPICUST, SICF, sm59, smicm, slscheck and sxmb_adm > Integration configuration.
The icf services are running, the RFC connections shows a http code 500 (it means that is ok) and in integration configuration I have defined my Business sys type "LOC" and in IS_URL, the URL of XI integration server.
I think everything is ok!
Guys any suggestions to check other points?

In the SLD your XI business system should contain the pipeline URL http://<host>:<abap_port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry and this business system role should be Integration Server.

Error data from ID:Unable to determine the name of the central Adapter Engine from the System Landscape Directory at this time.
Notifications to the central Adapter Engine are therefore listed using the technical name of the Adapter Engine.
This is usually structured as follows:
af.<SAP System ID>.<Name of application server>

MAC CS6 - Update error -- Purge Cache Won't hold

I cannot populate my images as an error occurs upon opening Bridge saying that the cache cannot be read --- I purge the cache--- & it makes no difference - I encounter the same error every time I reopen Bridge -- I downloaded the update & it won't install - Adobe Bridge CS6 5.0.1 Update Installation failed. Error Code: U44M2P7I
Please advise troubleshooting.

There is a way to reset by keyboard including clearing the cache:
Start Adobe Bridge and immediately press Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS) until the Reset Settings dialog box appears. Select all three options--Reset Preferences, Reset Standard Workspaces, and Purge Entire Thumbnail Cache--and then click OK.

No!
Not untill Mac and Adobe and Canon get their collective acts together. Mac (Apple) has the bad habit of upgrading their stuff and not being forthcoming with the particulars given to 3rd party companies like Canon and Adobe.
Besides the cost difference of Mac's the compatibility issues are it's worst features.

I use blackboard, since the latest update to 3.6.14, I get errors with caching applets, use IE and works fine. Whats happened and what can I do to resolve it?

Unable to update files in cache.

I get a bunch of these Cache Errors. Happens with application only, its blackboard hosted by continuinged.uml.edu.
Run the same thing using IE it has no problems. Firefox till the latest upgrade was also working fine.
What can I do to resolve this problem?

There's a bug in 3.6.14 with Java applets. 3.6.15 was released last Friday to fix that bug. Use '''Help > Check for Updates''' to start the update process to 3.6.15.

When i am refreshing Cache from the browser using link CPACache/refresh?mode=full it says success.
When i do from SXI_CACHE it gives an error.

Error retrieving cache in c# WPF project (No problems in c# WinForms)

To put it simply, the same basic cache retrival (with same configuration files) works under c# Winform app but under c# WPF app returns an error: {"unable to convert type -6 to a Binary type"} from cache.GetValues(null);
Working with a custom .net object, under VS 2010 SP1, .net 4. Coherence 3.5.2.46302. Win XP SP3.
Is there any known issue related to this? Any differences or specifics in serialization/deserialization for wpf vs winforms?
It connects and sees number of records properly (cache.Count) but fails on GetEntries or GetValues.

Urgent: Error in Cache Parameter

Please answer for the below issues.
Issue:
In RSRT transaction, if i goto cache monitor then it shows red status for flat file name in cache parameter list.
Please look at the Table for cache monitor status.
Cache Act.
Status
Green: Local Cache Size 100 MB
 Global Cache Size 200 MB
 Cache Persistence Mode Flat File
 RED: Flat File Name BW_OLAP_CACHE <SYSID> Parameter Missing Green: Comprehensive Flat File Name for AppServer

When i try to execute the report from query designer or WAD, I'm facing 400: session timed out and 500: connection failed errors
