Error in CATT Aplication

Hi Folks,
When running a CATT ( transaction SCAT ) in Production, I get the following error:
Error in application transaction ATT377
Control data is obsolete, rerecord (VERBS-NAME: CreateObject CATT: Callno: 000001)
If I run the CATT in the Development Environment I don´t get the error.
Any help will be appreciated ( and rewarded with pts!! )

Hi Andrey,
well, normaly 90% ATT377 error does not have any effection to your CATT however, some of them are real problme.
there are a lot of reasons can cause ATT377 error such as SAPGUI version, TCD interface. just one thing you need make sure to avoid this problem: you need excatly as same system enviroment as the CATT was recorded such as SP level and SAPGUI version..

ITunes doesn't launch error 1 "apple aplication support is not found"

Every single time I attempt to open iTunes, it doesn't and it shows me a pop up telling me that the ERROR 1 occured, that the apple aplication support was not found, it tells me to uninstall and install itunes and so i've done several times, but nothing. If an uninstall doesn't work, you need to use the Microsft Installer cleanup utility to remove it.
Download and install Microsoft Installer cleanup utility, there are instructions on the page as well as the download. Note that what you download is the installer not the program – you have to run it to install the program. The installer doesn't give any message to confirm the installation.

Dynpro Syntax Error with CATT

Hi everyone, I am new to this so hopefully I am in the right place.
Just installed MiniSAP & all is working well except getting an ABAP dump when entering CATT (SCEM) ... haven't changed anything!
Text of dump is redirecting me to SAP Notes for resolution ... problem is as an ABAP student (cross-training from Delphi) I don't work in an SAP environment.
I do not have a customer number (I just bought the ABAP Objects book) & the installation number that comes after licensing doesn't work @ www.service.sap.com ... the helpdesk staff just tell me that I need on or the other to register.
Any thoughts on a) how else to gain access to SAP Notes or b) how to interpret a ABAP dump by other means?

Hi,
Please make sure that your production system has the same SAP support package levels as other systems. Otherwise, you may get this error.
Please also check SAP note 802475.

HT1923 I can´t reinstall itunes. I updated and after downloading the latest version and installing it the error message: "apple aplication support was not found. it is required to run itunes. uninstall and install again. Error 2

I bought an iphone 4s. After plugging it via usb to my computer itunes demanded to update version to 10.3 or higher. I uninstalled itunes, downloaded latest version (11.0.2) and during installation process on "activating services" it shows error message: "installation failed, verify administrator priviliges" which i have because i sign in as my pc administrator. I click on ignore and it tells me itunes has been succesfully instaled but when i try to run it it shows the error message: "apple application support was not found. It is required to run itunes. Uninstall and install itunes again. (which i have done several times) error 2 (windows error 2)." Someone please help me with this problem. Thanks.

Let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?

Hi,
I've found that if you remove the j2ee-application element related to the enterprise app you are trying to deploy from Sun\AppServer\domains\domain1\config\domain.xml, and also remove your enterprise j2ee-app directory from Sun\AppServer\domains\domain1\applications\j2ee-apps\, it works.
This is not a permanent solution. I get the same error again, when I try to redeploy the application for the third time. Hope someone can help soon!

Ecatt error in production environment only

Hi,
I have created one E-CATT to upload booking for the course. This E-CATT is working fine in development and Quality environment.
However, in production system its giving error 'E-CATT error ATT377 control data is obsolete, rerecord (VERBS - Name: Create Object CATT: <none> Callno: 000001)
Please revert me why this error is occurring in production only.

Process Chain Error DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_RSQL

One of my process chain has an error.
The PChain has this nodes:
- Start
- Data loader (to ODS)
- Data Transfer Process to ODS
- Activate
- Drop Cube Indexes
- Data Transfer Process to Cube
- Generate the Cube Indexes
but... the process mark an error in the "Data loader".
The error is:
Error: DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_RSQL
Excep. CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
What Happened?
Error in ABAP Aplication program
The current ABAP program "CL_RSODSO_SEMANTIC_PACKETIZER=CP" had to be terminated because has come across a statment that unfortunately cannot be excecuted.
What can you do?

Error analysis
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class "CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB", was not caught in procedure "FETCH_PACKAGE" "(METHOD)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exeption is:
the SQL statment generated from the SAP open SQL statment violates a restriction imposed by the underlying database system of the ABAP system.
Posible error causes:
- The maximum size of SQL statment was exceeded
- the statment contains too many input variables.
- to input data requires more space than is available.
The same process chain, is running in DEV, and not has errors. Run fine.

After reading your problem description it is clear that, the issue is in DataLoader process(ETL) and not process chain,
Description and Solution: RSQL Rrror: 13 usually indicates that some aspect of the database is violated.
One of the key reason could be the input data requires more space than is available in the system.
I'll recommend you to check system log in SM21
Also check the developer trace for relevant work process using ST11
Another reason could be dynamic select-statement (select-options table) which is filled (excessive) during runtime. Check with program developer and modify program to get a shorter statement or split the selection condition. Also from tuning standpoint I would recommend to modify following parameter,
dbs/io_buf_size

TREX Error Message

My TREX, after trying to Reindex gives me this error in Log Aplication:
AbstractTrexIndex: The index server (for the specified indexes) cannot be determined (Errorcode 2960).
and this in Administration Index:
Operation failed creating index failed: The index server (for the specified indexes) cannot be determined (Errorcode 2960)
both Index Server and Queue Server are Not Available.
What can I do to make then available?

Application Error Memory could not be read(Please Help)

I need help.
I am using Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended Student Edition.
My computer is Windows XP

Those "bad memory" errors are usually caused by one of two things
One (fairly rare) is an actual bad memory stick
Two (most often) is a bad device driver... these are really hard to narrow down to the actual cause
Some things to try...
Go to the motherboard vendor and make sure you have the latest device drivers for your brand/model motherboard
Also make sure you have the latest device drivers for your brand/model video display card
Finally, any other device drivers you had to install

JavaScript error on WD

Hi Friends,
the same issue, opening again.
I am getting JavaScript error on WebDynpro aplication.
The error is "Object Required on line number .."
because of this, when I run the aplication on browser IE6.0 build 2900.2180, SP2, the application manages to display all the popup windows through link to action provided.
BUT in case of IE 6.0 build 2800.1106, SP1, not able to see the the popup windows because of JavaScript error.
There should be some way, because in other screens too, I have popup windows, but am able to se popup using same old IE 6.0 version.
Is there any clue how to get rid of it?

I resolved it.
This bug was because of one textView field value missing.
I feel, in this case too, we should not get javaScript error, as its not possible to handle it.

The full message is: There was an error retreiving the user management project list. Please verify a project exists.
This is from a new install, and I'm new to the product.

It is normal, I encountered this error during planning aplication deployment from BPMA. There is a "cosmetic" bug that exception not catched and drops to log.

After Effects CC hangs on launch indefinitely

Never used, newly installed After Effects CC hangs on lauch indefinitely with no error messages every time I launch it. I have to force a shutdown each time. Anyone out there know what the problem is? Thanks if anyone can help!
My specs:
After Effects CC 12.2.1
Windows 7 Pro SP1 64 bit
GPU: GeForce GTX 670 w/ driver 334.89
CPU: Intel Core i7 - 3770K @ 3.50GHz
Memory: 32 GB RAM

Reinstalled AE about 4 times, (tried both with and without the 12.2.1 patch)
I've updated my video card driver, and also tried using legacy versions
I've tried logging out of Creative Cloud before launch
Restarted my PC many times
I get the same result whether or not I have other applications running

GPUsniffer.exe seems to be over active- Using a ton of CPU and I couldn't uninstall AE untill I manually shut it down from Processes in the Task Manager
The application itself- AE doesn't show up in the Task Manager under Applications

We had this problem for a while now, the Splash screen hang with the message 'Converting Scrap…' in the info panel.
Our old work around was deleting the preferences folder in "C:\Users\Adminsitrator\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\After Effects" and replacing it with a backup of this folder, removing the cache folder and doing a reboot.
Today that didn't work either - so I followed the instructions from the Error Log (Check Aplication Log in the Windows Events Viewer) and found a tool called 'Action Center' in the Control Panel.
Inside the tool click on 'Troubleshooting' > Programs > Program Compatibility Troubleshooter   .. and follow the instructions.
It will run your application in some kind of safe / compatibility mode; and for us that did the trick!
