Error in consuming webservice in SE80 - SOAP:1.023 SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("ICF Error when receiving the response: ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION)

Dear Gurus,
Hope you all are fine. I am consuming 2 external WSDL's in ABAP (SE80 - Service Consumer). These are working fine in SAP DEV server. But when i execute tham in SAP QAS server, i am getting this error.
(SOAP:1.023 SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("ICF Error when receiving the response: ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION))
can anybody tell whet could be the problem?

Dear Inaki,
These proxies are working fine in DEV server. I transported them in QAS and tried to execute but getting that error. Networking team say that SAP and other servers can free communicate to each other.

L3 - Failed to reach test WS through System Settings (ICM/HTTPURLLOC)
L2 - Failed to reach test WS through ICM
I choosed: No SAP Web Dispatcher used
What I did:
1. re-created users SM_EXTERN_WS and SM_INTERN_WS
2. added table HTTPURLLOC with the full hostname and the port
3. created SSL server standard certificate in STRUST and its green
4. instance profile>>add login/accept_sso2_ticket=1 and login/create_sso2_ticket=2

We are developing consumer proxies on ECC enhancement Package 4.
Could you please advice us on the mandatory Technical Configuration that is required in order to consume Web Services from external (non-SAP systems) Providers?
We are trying to test a consumer proxy which consumes a Web Service hosted on a third party system but we are getting the following error:

Since I have my good 5 minutes I'd say this:
The most important part of your description is missing, that is ...ICM_HTTP_XXXXX????? with XXXXX???? probably being CONNECTION FAILED. Most probably you have a routing or proxy problem, which means, your app server can't reach the destination (given your destination URL does exist at all).
You might find details in ST11 and some help in [this thread|Calling external webservice fails on 4 of the 5 server instances;.

I know its been more than an year since the last time I have posted on this thread.
The problem still persists, I have made the necessary changes as you have suggested,
made the necessary changes to the logical port number.
The error has changed to no extended error message (SOAP_ESERVER).
In sm21:

We are facing an issue while setting up ccms alerts on PI system application server.
We have solman 7.0 with EHP1 and adding SAP PI netweaver 7.1 as remotely monitored system through solman using saphostagent. The system was registered successfully and alerts work fine for central instance of satellite PI system.
But the application server remians offline status. When we do a connection tect from solman system; it gives error "SOAP:1.023 SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("ICF Erro".
In SMICM, HTTP and other services are active for this app server. But in the log we have alerts
"[Thr 1114540352] *** WARNING => Connection request from (17/18/0) to host: <server name>, service: 50013 failed (NIECONN_REFUSED)
[Thr 1114540352] {0009bd3e} [icxxconn_mt.c 2245]"
When try the connection test for connection type G under HTTP connections to external server. It is successful for CI but fails for app server with message "ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED"
with same error message (NIECONN_REFUSED).
Please advise how can we fix this. Could this be DNS server entry issue etc.

Yes; the ping from solman to satellite(PI) system and vice versa is working fine. And the dev_icm alerts I mentioned were bpresent in app server of PI eveen before we registered it in solman system.

Error in consuming webservices using ABAP

Dear Gurus,
I am trying to consume webservices using ABAP. We dont have XI installed and no java instance installed.
I created a customer proxy through SE80 and generated a proxy class by giving a WSDL link and also defined logical port. Traditionally followed the steps. But while testing webservices , I get a ICF error.
The error is as follows:
SOAP : 1:023 SRT : Processing error in internet communication framework ("ICF error when recieving the response ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED)
Please let me know the cause of this error and solution to be provided.
I also tried to call the method from an abap program, But I get CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT exception.

It could one of several problems, examples:
- A firewall setting
- http communication out disabled by Basis team or
- The logical port wasn't configured correctly.
Try the suggestions in this thread to narrow down the reason (particularly the telnet test from the server):

We have already looked at all the below notes and followed the steps
1822831 - Web Service Soap Errors in solman_setup
1860293 - Extractors Setup Error "CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT : SOAP1,023 SRT" and "ICM_HTTP_TIMEOUT" in Solution Manager 7.10
1885130 - "ICM_HTTP_TIMEOUT" during SOLMAN_SETUP.
1837656 - Extractor Setup returns "CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT : SOAP:1.007 SRT: Unsupported xstream found: ("HTTP Code 500 : Timeout")" - Solution Manager 7.10
our LMSERVICE and ISAGENT patches are on the latest version.

Authorization error while consuming web service in SOAP UI

Hi,
I am an ABAPer and do not have much knowledge about SOAMANAGER configuration.
I have created a Web service and configured it using SOAMANAGER. I am trying to consume same web service using SOAP UI.
But, I am getting an error HTTP-401 unauthorized.
For authentication, I have selected "Transport level -User ID/Password" checkbox.
What else, I have to configure, please let me know.

The application was running in the system <System> . Here, no credentials were provided.
What can you do?
If you still have a user ID , contact your system administrator.

In SOAP UI, after importing WSDL, dig it till Request1, select it and go to Request property.
Set Below things
1. Authentication Type = Preemptive
2. give username
3 give password
and send message.

Error in Consuming webservice proxy in SAP

Hi,
I have a webservice which I am not able to consume in SAP. I get an error 'Cannot generate Proxy (object <attribute name="arrayType"> missing in WSDL, see long text').
When i tried to search in SDN, I found a post which says that SAP doesnt support soapenc:Array types and it can be converted to corresponding Sequence. I went through the help link

Accordingly, I have changed mine from:

In our application we are calling External webservice through WSDL file. I have deployed the WSDL files on server and get the WSDL URL using "WDURLGenerator.getAbsoluteWebResourceURL(wdComponentAPI.getDeployableObjectPart(), "file.wsdl")". I am able to call the service from WS Navigator.
I have consumed webservices uisng Adaptive webservice model and given the service group configuration ,created a provider system, assigned the provider system to the application through SOA Management-->Application Communication
Now when i tried to run the webdynpro application i am getting following error

Check mass configuration has been done properly.
some configurations for consuming services using service group is missed out.

Exception error: While consuming webservice

While trying to consume webservice from other server. We get the following error
"I/O Exception: Name in certificate 'URL' does not match host name 'URL'
The code works fine in development environment. Whereas, when we are trying to consume with/without the port number as 443 using cfhttp method. It is throwing the above error.
Environment :
Coldfusion 8
SQL Server 2005
Which we are consuming is :
Java/J2EE.

I get an error message when checking the response arrow icon: What do I do?

When I respond to a message, it sits in my sent folder. If I wanted to see my response, I could check my inbox on the original email and click on the response arrow icon. Now I get a message "error - Mail was unable to find your response to the message "subject of message" You may have deleted the message.
I know I did not delete it so I am not sure what is happening. It worked before.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
