Error in Control record

Hi All,
i used to work on US payroll all these days in my IDES, but today when i was working with india specific, when i am creating the control record, and entering the payroll period as 01 2010, it is not showing it as 01.04.2010 instead its showing it as 1st jan 2010, please advise me where should i change the settings for this one to change it to india specific.

Check your payroll periods properly in table T549Q.....Date format in the same table.

ESS - SAP ECC 6.0/EP7 - Personal Info/Control Record

Hi,
During configuration for ESS on SAP ECC 6.0/EP7 , I received an error for 'Control Record XX not found' when selecting the Address and Personal Data services under Personal Information area on the portal side. This occurred for one of our countries not on SAP Payroll. I created a control record for that country and the error went away.
Does anyone know why it is checking for a control record on version SAP ECC 6.0/EP7? We did not have this issue on SAP ECC5.0.

Material control record missing in company code while doing migo OMSY maintained

Hi All,
for a new company code when i try to do GR using Migo getting error "Material control record missing in company code" i have maintained the OMSY periods for company.i see other answers for same question suggesting maintain OMSY recored for company code.i am getting the error even entry exist ,any help greatly appriciated,

Error during creating a control record

Hi Experts,
we are using EEC6.03 version.
system error..
Change before earliest retro. date 01.03.2010 acc. to control rec. to py area CO
Error-
While creating Control Record, system takes advance period.
example-
We have given present payroll period as 12.2009, and earliest retro active accounting peroid as 10.2009,
then system takes the date 01.03.2010.
Actually System should take present payroll period as 01.12.2009, But is shows as 01.03.2010. I am unable to understand.
Please Help me out Guys.

Hi,
It seems that your payroll periods are screwed up. To check that please check table V_T549Q (SM30) and see if period corresponds to dates. Period parameter is assigned to payroll area in table V_T549A.
Then if it is wrong you can regenerate them using transaction OG00. Please read report help thoroughly.

"Receiver port not valid in control record"...idoc error

Hi,
The new materials are sent to SAP via a text file which is placed in the application server which EDI uses to populate the Idoc segments and creates the material master.
Recently we upgraded from SAP 4.6 C to ERP 5.0.
After upgrading we are getting a message as Port(HPLED) invalid in control record.
I get an error message as "receiver port HPLED not valid in control record"...
It is not able to find the receiver port & hence cannot create the MM.
We checked all the config and compared with Test and production and we could not find any noticable change.
Did anyone come across any infor on this?

Hey Ramesh,
I've already done the WE57 setting.
You see the WE57 setting is always done on the reciever side and not on the sender side (There is no harm but it is not what SAP recomends) The Linking on the sender side is done in the Partner Profile, where we give the extension name.
For the reciever this Partner profile setting of extension is not there therefore we need to go to WE57 and do it.
I've done all the config and have tried all the things in both the systems but somehow nothing is working.
That is why I asked that in my Inbound FM which is IDOC_INPUT_HRMD do I need to popluate one of it Parameters or fields where I mention the Extension name and all.
Yesterday however I found an SAP NOTE (105148) which tells me that my naming convention of the Extension is wrong. I have made ZHRMD_A07 extending standard IDOC tupe HRMD_A07, actually it should be ZRMD_A07. Again this is speculative I need to try this out. But I do know that SAP has various checks which checks all the naming convention and all. I'll try this out and hopefully it might work.
In the meantime any other suggestions are most invited. I am using Message type HRMD_A and using IDOC type HRM_A07

First record is not an IDOC control record - Error

When I am trying to import orders in my test system through RSEINB00 , it is giving me this error "First record is not an IDOC control record"
But if I manually do it through test tool , it post successfully.
I tried different files which have been posted into production client successfully but still the same error.
It was working just fine until yesterday. Today I modified one file and ran it and it gave me the error. Now its giving me the error in all the file i try.
Any clues ??

Please check the partner profile (WE20) and IDoc ports (WE21) setup, perhaps someone changed them by mistake.
Also please check the IDoc file content whether there is IDoc control record (EDIDC) information or not.

Error in SWWERRE "No personnel control record exists for accounting area 99"

Dear Experts,
The standard job for restarting of workflows with temporary errors , SWWERRE, has suddenly started failing.
The message obtained in Job Log is "No personnel control record exists for accounting area 99".
The Payroll Control Record for Payroll Area 99 does not exist as it is a non-payroll relevant area.
There has been no change in HCM configuration or Job characteristics.
What could have triggered these sudden failures.
Please suggest.

Hi Shilpa
This is not an issue with the report RSWWERRE (Job SWWERRE).
It must be trying to pickup work items which are in Error State (temporary) - that item may have this data issue - Run Report RSWWERRE from SE38 and debug, you will come to know.
Check if:
1) The error WI belongs to TRIP (BUS2089)
2) Put a break point in FORM SUB_ABRECHNUNG(SAPLHRTR) and run report RSWWERRE (if the work item is still in TEMPORARY ERROR SATE and has not converted to permanent error) ..... debugging should stop there if the above point is correct
3) This will give you the Trip and Employee number - check if the data is consistent (BAPI_TRIP_CHECK_STATUS)
4) This usually happens when you use &TRIP.AVSEXORADAUTHORITYLEVEL& in the binding (of the error step)
if this is true, correct the data and it should work else delete those work items and restart the job (remember to correct the data to avoid future issues).
If not,
still the fist point holds true, "It must be trying to pickup items which are in Error State - that item may have the issue - Run Report RSWWERRE from SE38 and debug, you will come to know." Some errors are deep rooted and cannot be caught by the job
Also check if note 1452535 is relevant for your release.

Offcycle error and payroll control record

hi experts,
i faced a error in offcycle payroll processing.
i did exit payroll for april 2008 and maintained a data in infotype 267 for bonus in 15.05.2008 for 50 employees in bulk.
i want to run offcycle payroll thro normal payroll driver on 15.05.2008 using HINCALCO and selected the required parameters in off cycle reason and facing error while doing update run.
simulation run is showing offcycle results correctly and system not allowing to run update run and showing error related to payroll control record .
how to recify this ?

offcycle payroll program will work only when the payroll control record is in exit status for past payroll period
i cannot change the payroll status to release for payroll status
i tried earlier and it didnt work
i tried to run offcycle for 15th may 2008 by keeping payroll control record release for payroll in may 2008 and it didnt work at all
what i wanted is the save button in the offcycle program is not in active mode when i am able to default the wage type values from infotype 267

Error values in Idoc Control Records in File to Idoc Scenarios

Hi All,
I am posting 2 different types of Idocs in 2 different File-to-Idoc Scenarios. In many cases both these files may get picked at the same time. One is an Orders Idoc and the other one is Shipment Idoc. The Orders Idoc has a control record value in the Sender Partner Fn as 'ZC' while as for Shipment Idoc that value is not passed. The other Sender parameters are passed and are different for both these idocs. But when the files are processed, the value 'ZC' get populated for the Shipment Idoc also. When 100 files are sent with 90 orders and 10 shipments, the shipments get created with 'ZC' partner fn. This is visible in the Call Adapter Pipeline Step under the node IDocOutbound. . I have 2 different Idoc receiver adapters.Can anybody help me out here?

Check whether the Source/ Mapping populates the 'ZC' , Did you checked Apply Control record in Receiver Adapter for Shipment, What is the name you have mentioned for the in the SLD -Logical system for Sender system

Error in Control in eCATT

Hey,
I recorded a test script which involved recording of some values in GridView Control. I was using SAPGUI(record). The recording went fine but as i executed the test case it resulted in an error saying ..

The error is pointing to the screen where it has to start entering values in the grid. The execution stops there and gives me the error as stated above.
I am Using Solution Manager 3.2 with Web AS 6.20 to run eCATT. My SAP GUI is 6.40 with Patch level 8. Is there any limitations as such on Grid Control or some setting which might be missing. Please help me out ASAP.

Hey Sasmita,
Well I did a lot of research on it on my own and created quite a number of test cases and was finally able to deduce what actually the problem is.
This problem occured to me when the visibility of the controls especially Grids was dependent on the input data. Usually what happened was that upon recording the follow of screens that actually occured was not happening upon Replay. It was basically because of the state the screen is in when we leave a transaction. I changed the setting to "Do not Close Session upon Completion" so that i had the replay session available to me at the end or Replay. And i saw that the screen was not at the state that it should be. So what I did was changed the screen state on to which it should be at that time and then left the transaction. Now when i Replayed the test case next time it executed perfectly without any errors.
So basically the problem lies within just the dynamic controls and what we have to ensure is that before we replay the script we exit that transaction from a state which we want it to be in upon replay.

Can someone please explain what this error means "Error in Control"? I am using SAPGUI command to record and execute. I create a custom document and once created that doc appears in the grid on the upper half of the screen. I click on the created document to check/change values of different columns. Now while recording the click operation opens the document i created however while executing it does not open the document created. It opens some other document which is there in the grid.
command editor contains following information

    Name Shell
    Type GUI Shell
    SubType Grid View
    State
         currentCellRow
             Name CurrentCellRow

         clickCurrentCell.
And I get the Error In Control message while executing.

Hi,
The issue is only due to some unexpected screen sequence.
What can be done to solve this?
1)Check the flow and you can activate the highlighting feature while executing and you can identify the error where it goes wrong?
2)You may need to re-record with maximum options.You have to make few screens optional.
This will solve your issue.

Sender port in control record

Hey guys
i m trying to test my IDOC to FIle scenario and in WE19 i m getting an error with status 37 saying that sender port in control records is invalid.
i have created the Sender port correctly in WE21,what might the problem be?

As you said you have created the port with WE21.
Did you checked , RFC destination which was configured in Port creation , what was the user ,pwd you used,does that user has the proper authorization , did you checked remote login for RFC destination,generally SAPxxx for port name, did you selected the version which was selected.

Hi all,
I am Getting 56 Error"Receiver partner type in control record is default".
When I go to that perticular IDoc under control record under parter tab I am providing "PARTNER TYP" AND PORT.When I save these details th idoc is getting posted.
The port ifo is present in we21.I checked RFC Destination,It is fine.
Now where to give this information centrally since I have to manually enter this every time.

Hi,
If error is 56.
Check the partner profile is created or not, if not create partner profile, restart the process by TA.BD87.
If partner profile is exist then check the control information in the IDoc file is incorrect. Correct the IDoc file and restart the process
Please check receiver IDoc Adapter is configured with the said details are not.
And if possible map the values in EDI_DC40 control record.then you need not to give these details every time.

when i am testing it from we19..... I'm the data is not sent insted it is being saved in database.
In WE05 I can see the following error.... and the lights are green.
