Error in creating infoobject

Hi Experts,
While i am creating infoobject ZRSR01 with quantity data type and with a reference of ZRCR01, i am getting error saying that "Key figure ZRDSR01 is used in non-*** value ZRSPS01, type cannot be changed".
Can any body help me how to solve this issue.

Hi Sushma,
Why you are using the reference? why don't you create it independently?
Check if there is any relation between the info objects ZRCR01 and ZRDSR01( i mean is the ZRCR01 is reference of ZRDSR01)
Are you sure the data types for all the KFs is same?
You can not change the data types if its being used some where else as reference?

They are standard objects.. you can not create objects starting '0'
Create them with Z**** Example ZMATL_TYP Zmatl_grp

HI,
Activate that Infoobject, then it will ask you to activate all dependent attributes.
Choose activate all dependent attributes then this infoobject will get activated.

Error while creating an Infoset

I am getting an error in rsa1 while creating an Infoset. The error message reads "Network is only supported in WinGUI". But I do not get any error while creating Infoobjects or DSOs or Infocubes. Error screenshot is attached.
I am using SAPGUI for Mac.
Is this a known issue ?

Trying logging off the system and log in again and try to activate Data source Infoobject and transformation again and try creating DTP by selecting Selecting the source system by pressing F4. I hope it should work.
I don't find any specific problem or any patch problem with the error you are getting.

Info object may be a maximum of 000060 digits...... what would be the error?

Hi,
The maximum length supported by one CHAR type infoobject is 60. Check whether you have assigned more.
If you have to load more length ( more than 60) split the total thing into different infoobjects. Create different infoobjects and split the total thing into them - like 1st 60 char in 1st infoobject, char 61-120 in 2nd infoobject and so on. Then you can again concatenate them.

Error while creating webi on BEx query

I will appreciate your help on this matter.
I created a BICS connection and published it in the repository successfully. I then logged on to BI launch pad and tried to create webi report on top of BEx query but getting a following error.

Hi Kirran,
Please see if you have defined a status scheme and assigned it to the recipe type. Before defining a status scheme, you must complete the one time IMG activity 'Collect Object Types and Assigned Attributes' under Recipe Development > Status Management. Then in the next node you define individual statuses and a scheme with transitions. For each status, you must define 'field value' for the field RCP_USAGE which is nothing but a value from Recipe Purposes customizing.

I have got an error while creating a PO with an Internal Order. I am trying to post this PO against an Internal Order. The error message says that:
User status BUDG is active (ORD 10034). When I click the perform assistant, it says that according to this status, transaction 'Material purchase order' is not allowed.

What you enter in the Cost element master data is only for defaulting the cost center or order when you use that GL account.
When you see a message transction requires an account assignment, you can enter the relevant cost center for which the cost is incurred.
For your information, If an order has been marked as statistical, you can find it in KO02 change order > Control data. there may be check box saying statistical. If it is not available, then, you can't make it statistical until, you make that field available for change for the order type. Usually orders of a particular type can be made as statistical, by providing a model order to the order type. In the model order you specify that it will be statistical.

Thanks Jasmin I did as you told and was able to create folder. But while installing the Event-Dsc and the workflow-dsc I am getting some internal error as given below.

As I am using the trial version so I have isnatlled all the products Workbench, Server and the application server in the same machine. My System has 2GB Ram.

Getting error while creating the variable of Schema Element type

Hi everybody,
For creating a variable of schema element type I am doing the following steps...
Select 'Variables' after right clicking on bpel process. IN this window, go to 'Create VAriable' then select 'Element' type. Now in Type Choose, I expanded the my imported schema files. And selected a element type, then click ok to create this variable... I am getting the message...
IN ORDER TO SAVE IMPORTED WSDL/SCHEMA FILES, YOU MUST HAVE A PARTNER LINK LOCATED UNDER THE CURRENT PROJECT DIRECTORY.
What is mean by that.
I have imported the schema files in project. AFter that I have imported them into the WSDL also. Now why I am getting error while creating the variable. However I can create variable directly in .BPEL file then everything is fine. And it is working also. But what is mean with the above error? Why I am not able to create variable through GUI?

I have this same problem this morning, and I was going crazy, until I found this webpage on the internet:

The idea is that the jdeveloper is not very good working with directories with spaces on the directory name. If you move all your work to a directory without spaces, it will work smoothly. At least, it had worked for me.

Error while creating a Development plan template

Hi Gurus,
I am facing errors while creating Development Plan Template.
This is how it goes :
When i click on Define Forms for Talent Assessment --> a wizard pops up & i select Development Plan :
In first step, I am giving Title,Integration with SAP Learning Solution (check) & a rating scale.
Now after clicking next, I am adding 2 development areas :
1) Training
2) Mentoring,
now as soon as I'm clicking on End Configuration, It displays 2 errors & 1 warning message :
error1 : Element Appraisal Template 'XXXXX' contains errors.Cannot change status.
error2 : Value type 000000XXX of value class Q does not exists
Warning 1 : You have maintained a description that is not displayed.
In PHAP_CATALOG, when I'm trying to manually release the Criterion Group (VB) or Appraisal template (VA), it does not allow me to do it.
Kindly let me know how to proceed further.

Even though it gives the error,the new RTF template is uploaded and it is reflected when I query the template again.
But when I run the Concurent program and see the output,the output still shows me the old template.
