When you generate new fields from BWA DataSources, the system issues an error message:

Reason and Prerequisites
To determine whether you had BWA or SAPI DataSources, only SMOX3_GET_DATA was checked for, since up to now the usage of CRM_BWA_GET_DATA_WITH_ARC was unknown.
Solution
Import Support Package 04 of SAP_ABA 7.0, Support Package 14 of SAP_ABA 6.40 or Support Package 54 of SAP_ABA 6.20 or implement the specified advance correction.
When you implement the advance correction for SAP_ABA 6.20, bear in mind that Note 605469 is a prerequisite for this release.
After you implement this note, also implement Note 996352, so that the system will use the correct extractor.

How can i set the filter for delta upload from CRM into R3? As far as i know, the filter settings in R3AC1 is only applicable for data exchange from the source system R3. What if i would like to filter the data where the source is CRM instead? Did i miss out anything in the configuration? I have been able to filter data coming from R3, but NOT data from CRM going into R3.

What exact data transfer from CRM to R3, on completion of a sales Order. I am new in the field, need some good example?

Transafer of order from CRM to R/3 involves following activies.
Setup RFC destination between CRM & R/3
Create a R/3 Site (Transaction: SMOEAC) and assign a subscription named
(Sales Document (Mesg) created from publication Sales Document(Mesg)).
In R/3 maintain Document type with same name as Transaction type in CRM, item category with same name as item category in CRM, Item category determination with same as in CRM.
Master data i.e. Product in CRM should be present with same name as material in R/3. BP in CRM should be present with same name as Customer in R/3
Organizational data is maintained in CRM.

Data Extraction from CRM to BW

Hi,
I just need some information/help on BW Data Extraction from CRM, it would be great if some one could help out or mail some related help documents.
Currently we are implementing the complaints module in CRM simultaneously on the BW side we have identified an info cube for complaints 0CSAL_C09, but this cube and its ODS source does not have all the required fields like (newly created text types, serial number etc), so how these tables and fields can be identified in the source system and added to extract structure in CRM. Also what is the table in which the CRM transaction data would be stored.
Especially i require the newly added text types in CRM to appear in BW, there are around 5 new text types are added and user can enter free text, i need these information to be captured in reports. kindly mail me the steps to [email protected]

Data Extraction from CRM

Hello Experts,
I am presently working on data extraction from CRM system. I understand that there are three ways of data extraction from the CRM system:
i) Using Middleware integration
ii) CRM BI integration through XI
iii) Generic ETL process as used when extracting data from other SAP systems
Can anyone please suggest which one is the best method to follow and why?

Hi,
The Third option is the best one I would say.
Why to use any other way line XI integration or anything like that which involves more complexity in terms of development , maintenance and most importantly COST. SAP is providing you the standard set of extractors, it will be a wise choice.

Data upload from R3 to BPC using filters

We are facing a performance issue on the uploading data flow from R3 to BPC. Two steps have been set up.
Step1: R/3 --> ODS --> BW CUBE (No filters and full mode)
Step2: BW CUBE --> BPC CUBE (Standard BW upload package)
The first one (from R3 to a BW Cube) has no filters, so it loads every data and it takes too much time. However, the second one (from the Cube to BPC) has filtering options, so we can only load the data we need to (we usually use entity and time filters).
Both are executed from the BPC DataManager.
Any advice to improve the performance of the first step? Could we join the step 1 and step 2 and get the filters from the standard BW upload process using a custom process chain?
Does anybody have any experience using filters to reduce the amount of records on the data uploading from R/3 to BPC?

for example in BI data is stored as below

**I'm not quite sure how you are getting the above data from infocube.Are you directly loading data from PSA to infocube with out loading data into DSO -0FIGL_O10(General ledger(New):Transaction figures) ?
To get required format of following data, no need to do any thing while laoding the data into BPC. Your BI infocube should maitain the data in below format.
GroupAcc - Date - Balance
100000 - 12.12.10 - 100 - (LC)
100000 - 12.12.10 - 100 - (TC)
100000 - 12.12.10 - 200 - (GC)
To acheive above format of data in the infocube please follow standard way of data flow given by SAP in BI Contect(http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/e6/f16940c3c7bf49e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm).
Flow should be
R/3 --> PSA --> DSO -->Infocube.
In this flow its important to remember about infoobect 0CURKEY_TC in DSO.
This is always the currency key of the transaction currency; it is also filled for records with a different currency type. Without this key field, postings with different transaction currencies would be overwritten after summarization and thereby be lost.

Once you follow the standard flow, your infocube contains the requried format (LC,TC and GC )of data to load it into BPC application.

Data Flow from CRM to BW

Dear SAP Experts,
Greetings for the Day!
I am looking forward for some information on the Data flow happening from CRM to BW system. Some of the few queries are as below:
Do we have any settings for this data flow in Transaction SMOEAC.
How does the below setting impact the BDOC flow in BW. Also, if we un-check the “Do Not Snd”, will BDOCs
flow to BW system ? <PFA>
PS: We are on CRM 7.0 with EHP2.

Hi Kanika,
Data flow from CRM to BW happens via XIF using IDocs. You can check in transaction WE21 for your RFC destination of BW and the output parameters, which decides what data would be send to the corresponding destination.

Error during Initial Upload from ECC to CRM

Hi All,
I am getting an error while initial upload of BPs from ECC to CRM.
I have BP groupings defined in ECC. I had set the filter settings for a particular BP group(e.g. ZSIR). BP upload to CRM was successful. But, when I changed the filter setting to another BP group(ZDAC) those BPs were not copied to CRM.
what might be the problem ?

Hi geetha check for the whther all the bp Data is down loaded or any thing missing after down loading to crm if that is the case due to data inconsistenmcy this ttype of error will occur, so you have to synchronize the both bp data
manually after delta down loading.synchronization

Error in invoice posting from CRM to ECC

Dear Guru's ,
when we release the billing document from CRM to ECC , system throughs error messages and while we checking the confimation the below green message is appering .
--> Object link not known in CO
Whatever the master data we maintained in the order and confimation is perfect .Kindly advise why this green error is coming???

RFC Destination was incorrect,send complete BP Data again from CRM to R3

Hello All
Iam facing in issue in CRM - BP Application due to incorrect RFC Destination maintained for SAP R3.
Our CRM Testing system (CRO - Client 300) is connected to R3 Testing System (NCQ - Client 300), but when CRM system went for refresh, RFC Destination was overwritten, and due to that CRM system started pointing to wrong R3 server (NCD - Client 002).
Till we got to know the problem, User had created a BP in CRM and it had flown to incorrect server. later we corrected the RFC Destination , but now the issue is that If I make any small change in CRM BP data, Bdoc is going in error state and message says:
Messages for business partner 0090001677:
No customer is assigned to business partner 4A13ACE0AB356006E10000000A212
Entry 0500 does not exist in - check your entry
I tried to send BP data through middleware tCode /CRMM_Bupa_Send as well, but Bdoc gain got in error state saying :
Entry 0500 does not exist in - check your entry
I think, these errors are coming because system is assuming that it has already sent the data to R3, and it expects certain data to be present in R3 system, which it is unable to find since data for corresponding BP is not present in SAP R3.
I there any way, transaction through which I can send complete BP data from CRM to R3??? Please help.

Hi Surbhi,
Could you try transaction CRMM_BUPA_MAP in order to see what mapping the system thinks there is (if any). It then allows you to send (same as BUPA_SEND) or retrieve data. I guess this will run into the same error, but it might be worth a try.

Developing an iOS app on Windows and get error 90161 on upload from Mac

I have developed an AIR for iOS app in Flash CC 2014 on Windows. I use MacinCloud managed server for uploading .ipa to store for testing. It is virtual server service with Mac OS. They have Application Loader pre-installed.
I made certificates [cer converted to p12] on Windows and installed provisional profile. I made another certificate on Mac and added it to provisional profile too.
I get error when trying to upload from Application Loader:
ERROR ITMS-90161: "Invalid Provisioning Profile. The provisioning profile included in the bundle com.xxx.yyy [Payload/yyy.app] is invalid. [Missing code-signing certificate.] For more information, visit the iOS Developer Portal."
Stuck here. Tried to add cert made on Mac. Flash doesn't like it and stops compilation.

Error is data loading from 3rd party source system with DBCONNECT

Hi,
We have just finished an upgrade of SAP BW 3.10 to SAP NW 7.0 EHP1.
After the upgrade, we are facing a problem with data loads from a third party Oracle source system using DBConnect.
The connection is working OK and we can see the tables in the source system. But we cannot load the data.
The error in the monitor is as follows:
'Error message from the source system
Diagnosis
An error occurred in the source system.
System Response
Caller 09 contains an error message.
Further analysis:
The error occurred in Extractor .
Refer to the error message.'
But, unfortunately, the error message has no further information.
If we look at the job log in sm37, the job finished with the following log -

There will be three things to get the errors like this
1.RFC CONNECTION FAILED
2.CHECK THE SOURCE SYSTEM
3.CHECK IT OUT WITH Oracle Consultants WEATHER THEY ARE FILLING UP THE LOADS.TELL THEM TO STOP
4.CHECK I DOC PROCESSING
5.FINALLY MEMORY ISSUES.
6.CATCH THE DATA SOURCE FIRST CHANGE IT AND THEN ACTIVATE AND RUN THE LOAD
7.LAST IS MEMORY ISSUE.
and also Check the RFC connection in SM59 If it is ok then
check the SAP note : 692195 for authorization

BP Data replication from CRM to R/3

Hi All,
I could not see the BP replicated to R/3. The status is processing for 'BUPA_MAIN' type of BDOC.
-I have set RFC (not trusted RFC)
- At PIDE
CRM->R/3 [ type A (classification) is mapped to 0001 (Account group)]
and vice versa.
Waiting for any sugessions.

Hi,
Admin console (subscriptions based on rep.objects & publications) is for the CRM outbound process, based on CRM changes -> cannot be used for the initial load.
The download objects can be used for initial loads, and this in three directions: CRM-> R/3, R/3-CRM and CRM->MSA. If you wish to download data from CRM to R/3, select CRM as the source site and R/3 as the destination site in an initial load.
Normally if your RFC settings and filters are defined corrrectly, you should get an indicator that the download is in a running state. After that you can check the queues (smq1 & smq2) and the bdocs (smw01) for the results of the download.
