Error In DTP:Data package 1 / XDateX XTimeX Status 'Processed with Errors'

Hi,
While Pushing the data from the DSO(0PP_DS01 - Planned/Actual Comparison Order/Material View) to Cube 0PP_C15 -( Backlogged Production Orders).
Getting the Error as : Data package 1 / XDateX XTimeX Status 'Processed with Errors'
When checked the Long text it shows the same text i.e.,Data package 1 / XDateX XTimeX Status 'Processed with Errors'
It does not show any further error message which i can point out.
If anyone has come across this error please provide the resolution.

Hi Advirao,
Are you using DTP to load the data to the target? Then you can enable error stack to collect the erroneos records.
Also check if you have activated the request in ur source DSO.

Hi,
You must have the following profiles to BWREMOTE or ALEREMOTE users.So add it. Bcoz either of these two users will use in background to get extract teh data from ECC, so add tehse profiels in BW.
S_BI-WHM_RFC, S_BI-WHM_SPC, S_BI-WX_RFC
And also check the following things.
1.Connections from BW to ECC and ECC to BW in SM59
2.Check Port,Partner Profiles,and Message Types in WE20 in ECC & BW.
3.Check Dumps in ST22, and SM21.
4.If Idocs are stuck i.e see the OLTP Idoc numbers in RSMO Screen in (BW) detials tab see in bottom, you can see OLTP Idoc number and take the Idoc numbers and then goto to ECC see the status in WE05 or WE02, if error then check the log else goto to BD87 in ECC and give the Idoc numbers and execute manually and see in RSMO and refresh.
5.Check the LUWs struck in SM58,User Name = * (star) and run it and see Strucked LUWs and select our LUW and execute manually and see in RSMO in BW.

I am currently working on BI 7 and trying to pull data from r/3.
I have succesfully loaded the data into the PSA and now when i try updating the data (only 66 records, its a init run) into an ODS, but the system is taking a long time. On monitor Details in
Extraction:Errors occured.(with a delta warning sign), and
Transfer:Data Package 1 arrived in BW ; Processing :2nd processing step not finished.
On status Tab its yellow with message : Correct data request; processing running.
Hope i have made it clear.Please help.

I will suggest you to check a few places where you can see the status
1) SM37 job log (give request name) and it should give you the details about the request. If its active make sure that the job log is getting updated at frequent intervals.
2) SM66 get the job details (server name PID etc from SM37) and see in SM66 if the job is running or not.
3) RSMO see what is available in details tab. It may be in update rules.
4) ST22 check if any short dump has occured.
Once you identify you can rectify the error.
If all the records are in PSA you can pull it from the PSA to target. Else you may have to pull it again from source infoprovider.
If its running and if you are able to see it active in SM66 you can wait for some time to let it finish. You can also try SM50 / SM51 to see what is happening in the system level like reading/inserting tables etc.
If you feel its active and running you can verify by checking if the number of records has increased in the new data table.

BW: Data Packages Selected number does not agree with transferred

Hi,
I am running into an issue with an existing master data text load process chain in Production. The extractor is from ERP and there are only 159 records. What is happening is the chain is stuck on yellow but there is an issue with the data packages. The status error message is 'Missing data packages for PSA table'. Clicking into the Details tab the message then states Data Package 1: arrived in BW; Processing: Selected number does not agree with transferred.
The version is BI 7.0. I have done the following steps and still no luck. Looking for any suggestions. Thanks.

    SM58 (No IDOCS stuck)

I have a problem with de BW upload from R3 system. Till last week everything worked perfectly and automatic, but we added some companys to the system R3 and now, everyday the job is doing problems and we have to launch manually.
All data is transferred correctly to BW but then is not posted on PSA and in the details we have the following error message:
data packaged 1: arrived in BW; processing: 2nd processing step not yet finished
Have someone some idea about it?

Yes, it's like you wrote. When i execute manually it works ok. The problem is when it is working automatically in background, the daily work.
I don't have any dump (st22) in BW or R3. I checked also WE05, BD87, SM58 and others and everything looks fine.

VSB1N--Deleting items which are in status 'Processed with errors.'

Hi Friends,
There is one issue which needs your guidance,
In SAP there is an transaction called VSB1N where all our incoming SBI invoices gets received. When an SBI is received it can end up in either 1."Processed without errors" or 2. "Processed with errors". If the SBI ends up in the second state it requires a manual correction and then it can be processed again so it ends up in state one.
The issue here is with number 2 mentioned above, i.e. "Processed with errors". Some of the items do not belong to this list & will not be corrected. So what client want is to delete them and here is where the problem gets in, they cannot be deleted.
Is there any way to have these items deleted?

Do you have to have a data package with the 3G?

I was told that the 3G would not work without a data package. Is this true? With the 2G, you could use the phone, mp3, and Wi-Fi without the data package.

You are supposed to have the data plan. It is part of the deal. AT&T subsidizes the iphone in exchange for the two year commitment. The iphone itself will work without the data plan.
I don't know if AT&T will allow this.
Call AT&T and ask them. That is really the only answer that matters.

Planning job: Processed with errors

Hi,
A planning job was run. In MC8I (Check Mass Processing), i see the following:

Status: Processed with errors
Although the status is Processed with errors, but the values transferred to PIR (MD63) seems alright. Can anyone shine light what is the problem?

UEBERGABE SOPDM_M
---> whereby UEBERGABE is the Activity in MC8T; SOPDM_M is the Transfer profile in MC8S
I had created another Info Structure, Planning Activity, Transfer Profile, Planning Type with the exact same configuration as per the earlier one. However, this error never happened. It was processed successfully. Therefore, I don't know where the problem is since the configurations seems exactly the same. One is processed successfully , the other is processed with errors.

DTP does not fetch all records from Source, fetches only records in First Data Package.

I have a scenario in my BW system, where I pull data from a source using a Direct Access DTP. (Does not extract from PSA, extracts from Source)
The Source is a table from the Oracle DB and using a datasource and a Direct Access DTP, I pull data from this table into my BW Infocube.
The DTP's package size has been set to 100,000 and whenever this load is triggered, a lot of data records from the source table are fetched in various Data packages. This has been working fine and works fine now as well.
But, very rarely, the DTP fetches 100,000 records in the first data package and fails to pull the remaining data records from source.
It ends, with this message "No more data records found" even though we have records waiting to be pulled. This DTP in the process chain does not even fail and continues to the next step with a "Green" Status.
Have you faced a similar situation in any of your systems? What is the cause? How can this be fixed?

Thanks for your Suggestions.
Unfortunately, I would not be able to implement any of your suggestions because, I m not allowed to change the DTP Settings.
So, I m working on finding the root cause of this issue and came across a SAP Note - 1506944 - Only one package is always extracted during direct access , which says this is a Program Error.
Hence, i m checking more with SAP on this and will share their insights once i hear back from them.

Data Package Issue in DTP

Hi gurus,
My dataflow is like datsource->infosource->wrute optimised DSO with semantic key..
In source , i have 10 records in that 7 records are duplicate records.
I reduced the DTP datapackage size from 50000 to 5.
When i excuted the DTP , i got 2 data package. in the first data package i got all the 7 records for the same set of keys and in the second data package i got the remaining records.
My doubt is i have defined the data package size as "5" then how come the first data package can hold 7 records instead of 5 records.

Hi ,
It is because of the Semantic Key seeting that you have maintained .Data records that have the same key are combined in a single data package. This setting is only relevant for DataStore objects with data fields that are overwritten .
Semantic Groups ensures how you want to build the data packages that are read from the source (DataSource or InfoProvider).
This setting also defines the key fields for the error stack. By defining the key for the error stack, you ensure that the data can be updated in the target in the correct order once the incorrect data records have been corrected.

Data Package 1 ( 0 Data Records ) at DTP with Status RED

Hi All,
For 0 records at DTP level it is showing Overall status & Technical status as RED and yellow beside Data Package 1 ( 0 Data Records ). There is no short dump no error message. At PSA level in status tab the message displayed is Status 8 which says no data on R3 side for this particular load. Help me out.

Hi,
if traffic light is not highlighted, you are probably running a delta.
You will have to set the traffic light in the according init.
(and run init again )
the setting in the delta will be the same.

Routine is actually working fine in populating the number of records as per the logic.
It is been giving me error like below : Kindly advise.
During loading, there was a key violation. You
one data record with the same semantic key.
The problematic (newly loaded) data record has

Above syntax for delete data from internal table
For deleting the database table write statement as follows
DELETE From DATA_PACKAGE WHERE PLANT = 'INDIA'
Your are missing the from keyword from statement.
What could i have understand, if it is your solution of Query.
Exactly you want to delete data from database table or internal table ?

Clear Data package - "The data file is empty." Error

When I run the Clear package in Data Manager, I get the error "The data file is empty". We are running BPC 7.5 SP3. There are no calculated members selected. Any suggestions?

Hi Tom,
If i'm not mistaken when we run the clear data package, BPC inserts -ve values for the combination of dimensions selected.
For ex if you have selected time as 2010.DEC it would reverse out all these values by inserting negative values which would then total up to zero.
So i still think it could be a problem with the Transformation file.
P.S. Maybe you can try using the Clear from Fact table package.

Data Package is not consistent error

Hi All,
We have a Bex issue the screenshot of which is given in the link below. We have an info cube which has huge data volume. We load it very frequently (every hour from 2 sources). This info cube has been loading from say last 5 years. We stopped compressing the data about an year ago for some reason. We are thinking of compressing the data sometime soon. All of a sudden, users are getting the error shown in the link below more frequently. No much information is available at Service Market place about this issue. Can somebody please throw some light on this?
