ERROR - Key figure <> 0 not allowed for unit ' '; see long text
Diagnosis
    The unit/currency ' Source unit MEIN ' with the value 'space' is
    assigned to the key figure ' Source Key Fig. DIFF ' with the value '
    4240.000- '.
System Response
    A key figure that is not equal to 0 and for which no unit/currency is
    set has an inconsistent data state. The data record is not processed.
Procedure
    Correct the source data.

Hi ,
First af all identify all such records by creating an error DTP so that the same can be collected in Error stack .
1. Go to the Update tab of the normal DTP and there you can find the create Error DTP option .Click on that .
2. This will take you to the Error DTP screen .Use the option 'Valid record updated reporting possible (request green).You can increase the number of errorneous records to be avoided there only .
3. Please make sure you have activated the option of ' Valid records update reporting possible request green ' both in the Normal and Error DTP .Also the number of errorneous records to be avoided to be mentioned in both the DTP's.
4. Activate the DTP's (Both Normal and Error) .
After this can you please run the Normal DTP again .You can check the Error stack to see the errorneous records .When you double click on any record in the error stack it will thrown an error message from where you can find the exact error with those records .You can rectify these records in the errror stack and then run the error DTP to update the same to the data target.
Ideally these records should be rectified in the Source system .

Error in DTP loading from 1st level DSO to 2nd level DSO

Hi Experts,
I am facing a strange kind of error while loading data through a DTP included in Process chain.
We are loading full load, from a DSO to a target DSO.
But it gives an error, "Error in substep : Start routine".
When i checked the error logs, it redirected me to the start routine, where a deletion statement is written.
We checked, with some ABAP persons, the code contained no error.
So we repeated the DTP(right click and repair), it worked fine this time.
There are several other DTP, with the same source and target.
As per the client requirement, we divided the loads and not loading at once.
The same error happened with other DTP also, but repeating them solved the problem again.
As this is only a work around, but it makes no sense as it had to be done manually everytime even though it is scheduled using a process chain.
Any one who has encountered similar problem, please share idea/information with me.

Hi,
I had the same problem before, to debug the code, i put break point in the routine and couldnt find any error. Then loaded the data, it failed again. then I removed the break point from the transformation and activated it. When ever we activate transformation, a program is generated, if the program is not generated then this kind of problem occurs.

Error while re-loading from PSA..!

I have deleted request from Infocube which was aggregated.
I was trying to reload the same request from PSA, i am getting the following error:
SID 163.687 is smaller than Rollup SID of Cube
0PCA_C01; No request posting
Please help me in this..

Hi Kiran,
You are trying to load a request into the cube, but the aggregates are already rolled up with a request higher/newer than this request. To solve this I think that you need to deactivate the aggregates and afterwards reactivate and roll up new data.

Error in Simulating load from PSA to InfoObjects

Hello ALL,
in my Transfer Rules i have mapped 5 R/3 fileds (120 char) to my 5 infoobjects (60 char)
i have loading correctly in PSA a long text with "ALL TYPE OF CHARACTERS"
i'm doing a simulate registration from the monitor to load these data in my bw InfoObjects
my infoobjects have this characteristics:
- only attribute , flagged to accept Lower Case, conversion routine ALPHA, no master data, no text
the objective is to load this long text into the sid table and show it in query like attribute of my master data: 0NOTIFICATN.
the simulation return error like this:

i tried to fix this problem in Infopackage by Handling error ==> registering records without control, green light, it's a Long Text Description and i don't need to control any character in detail.
but i have another problem in InfoSource: when i mapp 1 R/3 120 char to 2 Infoobjects 60 char,
at the right side in Transfer Rules i find my R/3 field linked only with the first infoobjects
for example:
my infoobjects are ZTESTO_01 , ZTESTO_02
R/3 field: ZZTDLINE
i mapp:
ZZTDLINE ==> ZTESTO_01
ZZTDLINE ==> ZTESTO_02
at the right side i find: ZZTDLINE:ZTESTO_01
at the left side i find:
infoobject "ZTESTO_01" rule "ZTESTO_01"
infoobject "ZTESTO_02" rule "ZTESTO_01"
for my second infoobject i tried to write a routine to specify:
RESULT = ZZTDLINE+60(60).
i have values only in my first infoobject: ZTESTO_01, no values for my second ZTESTO_02
it seem that the system don't consider my routine
i tried another test without routine and waiting to get the same 60 char for ZTESTO_01 and ZTESTO_02
but nothing, it seem that the system consider only the association at the right side in transfer rules

for that in my start routine, at the declaration of transfer structur i don't see any reference for my:
ZTESTO_02 infoobject
do you think that is some PATCH PROBLEM, we have a new 7.0 installation with no patches.
i will bypass this problem monday asking the Abap Developer to divid the long text only in 60 char R/3 fields, and in infosource i can mapp 1:1 , 10 R/3 fields to 10 bw infoobjects and in the query
i can choose how many attributes i need to view for my long text.
if you have some further idea to test in Infosource (change mapping, routine) i will do that

Basically PCS_PER_PACK is a KF i have in the DSO, which i use to calculate the total number of pieces which i store in a KF in the cube. The transformation rule to calculate TOTAL_PCS is a routine.
within this routine i multiply PACKS * PCS_PER_PACK to calculate the figure. I do not store PCS_PER_PACK in the cube.
is it this rule that you want me to check whether aggregation is set to SUM or overwrite? Also this rule should add up the total pcs. if I say overwrite then it might not give me the desired result?
Thing which i cannot figure out is since the transformation rules go record by record why would it add up the PCS_PER_PACK figure before calculating?
I cannot access the system at the moment. as soon as i can i will check on it and get back to you.

Getting a odd error. This code was working perfectly before a SQLServer upgrade.
The linked database is working, I'm able to pull up data from it in separate queries just fine.
I'm getting the following error.

It is not a good idea to use string dates for predicates in WHERE clauses.
Use DATETIME or DATE in predicates.
If you are not interested in the time part of DATETIME, use DATE datatype.

Error while loading from PSA to Cube. RSM2-704 & RSAR -119

Dear Gurus,
I have to extract about 1.13 million records from set up tables to the MM cube 0IC_C03. While doing, the following two errors occured while loading from the psa to the cube:
Error ID - RSM2 & error no. 704: Data records in the PSA were marked for data package 39 . Here there were 2 errors. The system wrote information or warnings for the remaining data records.
Error ID- RSAR & No. 119: The update delivered the error code 4 .
(Data records for package 39 selected in PSA - 2 error(s). Record 5129 :No SID found for value 'EMN ' of characteristic 0BASE_UOM . Record 5132 :No SID found for value 'EMN ' of characteristic 0BASE_UOM )
I tried to change the defective records in psa by deleting the erraneous field value EMN and tried to load but failed.
Now, my questions are:
How can I resolve the issue ?
(ii) How to rectify the erraneous record ? should we only delete the erraneous field value or delete the entire record from the psa.
(iii) How to delete a record from psa.

Data records for package 39 selected in PSA - 2 error(s). Record 5129 :No SID found for value 'EMN ' of characteristic 0BASE_UOM . Record 5132 :No SID found for value 'EMN ' of characteristic 0BASE_UOM
The issue with record no. 5129 and 5132.
In PSA check errorneous records and it will display only the error records, you just edit as per the require and try reloading into cube.
Deleting single record is not possible.
Let us know if you still have any issues.

Loading from PSA with different process chains at a different time

Hi,
We currently have an issue regarding loading the same data from 2 separate Process Chains from the same datasource at a different time.
Simplified what is happening :
Process Chain 1:
Step 1a = Load 2LIS_13_VDITM into ODS "A"
Step 1b = Load 0FI_GL_4 into ODS "B"
At a later time, (PC1 is ready) =>
Process Chain 2:
Step 1 = Load ODS "A" to ODS "C"
Step 2 = Load 0FI_GL_4 (from PSA) to ODS "C"
Because of dependencies, step 2 from PC2 has to be loaded AFTER Step 1 (with activation) from PC2.
We cannot change Process Chain 1.
What i want to do is load the data from 0FI_GL_4 only to PSA in Process Chain 1 and pick it up again in Process Chain 2. This functionality is available in NW2004S, but not in our version BW 3.0B.
Does anyone have an idea how to do this ?

Thank you for your quick answer.
The problem is i cannot change PC1, but 0FI_GL_4 is loaded with the option into PSA and then immediatly to the target. So data is available in the PSA.
When I try to load data from PSA into ODS "C" in PC2, i get an error saying that the belonging infopackage (from PC1) is not available in this PC and thus cannot be loaded from PSA.

I did managed to do a full load from BW 3.5 to BI 7.0 system till PSA using infopackge selections and iam uanable to further load data to inthe infocube using DTP's from PSA...,Did anyone had a similar issue before ???

KJ- No it didnt work as i did tried to load using full mode only after checking the default status .....
Some strange things are happening ....,I tried to run the Infopackage load with some selections at first and it did selected 378k records which is the correct volume ,and i tried loading using delta init in infopacakge to check if it works through that way ,but this this time its running with huge volumes with out stopping ...
P.S : Mine is a datamart loads (ODS) loading from an a system to an infocube in an another system ....I dont understand why this is behaving strangely ...

It seems like while updating few records may be no in the format of the field in which it is updated.

Hi,
If you have already loaded data in to the InfoCube through PSA and wants to reload the same request from PSA then you need to delete that request from InfoCube first.
After that go to RSA1 -- > PSA Tab --> go to respective PSA --> go to respective Request --> Right Click --> Schedule the Update
It'll take you to InfoPackage there select the data load options like particular InfoProvider. If you delete the specific request from the InfoCube then only you'll get InfoCube to select.
Just schedule it, it'll load the cube now.

Hello experts,
I am facing this issue in SBO 9.0 PL 08.
Using SBOdemoUS, clic 'Duplicate' an existing Sales Order, then select a Business Partner, and hit 'yes' to the question in order to refresh rows with new BP info. You will get red bar error 'Failed to load from XML resource - (UI_API 7004) [Message 66000-6]' and it wipes out all the copied rows info. Does not happen with BPs that don't have default Ship To info.

Difference between Reconstruction and regular load from PSA

      What is the Difference between Reconstruction and load from PSA into datatarget.I understand that during Reconstruction we are not loaing data from R3.
      I have a cube and there are 3 requests in that.I deleted all the requests went to PSA and selected one of the requests and selected reconstruct from this.I went to cube and I can see this selected request in PSA in the reconstruction requests of cube.I submitted the reconstruction/Insert button there.
      Is this the procedure to do reconstruction.If yes then how is it different from regular load from PSA.

If look function wise both are doing samething. But there is difference in data flow, PSA is used as staging area. If we choose at first place to load only to PSA and analyze our load do manual editing if needed and then load to data target in this case ofcourse reconstruct option is not available or we could parrallely or sequencialy load to data target beside laoding into PSA. So now having already have loaded into data target if some how we needed to delete and reload we can reconstruct the request or run normal load from PSA.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. And then reboot your computer.
See if that fixes your problem.
