Error in Editing DTW Templates
Hi Folks,
Good Day!
I have observed that i got errors once I edit DTW templates in MS Excel in remote of our client. The error was
'Can not find this object in B1 Application-defined or object defined error65171'.
At first, I edit those templates on my local PC and then transferred it and upload and it's ok. But when I edit those templates by remote connection, this error prompts me even though my template was correct and valid. I just want to know if there are certain restrictions or any cause why I encounter that error. Thank you.

EHS-Error while editing Report template

I am getting a vague error while trying to cancel release of existing report template. I need to edit the same. Hence i am cancelling the release. Error msg editing MSDS template
Hi Gurus.
I'm facing troubles to modify a MSDS template. When I try to change a class sequence, I receive many msgs like shown below:
You can not acess environment M here.
Symbol G1013019VA does not have a main repeting group
Symbol G1013019QP does not have a main repeting group
Symbol G1013019SQ does not have a main repeting group
I realy don't know what is going on. Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance.Repeating Groups are not actually needed in all cases. They do tend to be a good idea. A repeating group allows the formatting to repeat once for each sort sequence of data stored within the property. Everything between the start and end segments of the repeating group will iterate for each instance of data.
If the information is printing correctly, you may not need to address the issue, but it is better to insert the repeating group around the symbol in question. This is best done by a consultant with expertise with WWI, or by taking a WWI training course. And, it is a good idea to use Copy Template to make a backup if you are doing this without prior training.
You can use the Go To function on the error to go to the area of the template with the symbol. Click somewhere in the symbol in the WWI document, then on the icon on the left called "Edit Object From Template" that will take you to that symbol within the tree. You should now see in the upper left the structure of the tree where that symbol is found. If you then click in the tree on the property above that symbol (the folder next up from the field), you can see the repeating group that would be added. You can then in the document highlight the area of the template that should repeat for each sort sequence. Now, with that area highlighted, click over on the left on the "Insert WWI Object in Template" icon. This will add the repeating group around that area.
You then want to check the template, preview with a specification containing data for that area, then save it only if it meets your needs and resolves the error. Repeat for each area in error.
If you just need a few changes to a template, I recommend finding a consultant. They can generally greatly improve your templates in just 1-2 days of time. -
Javascript error when editing an Event Template
I'm currently evaluating Adobe Connect to determine if it will work well for our company's webinars. As part of the evaluation, I attempted to create a custom event template. The first thing I did was to apply a custom background (using an image) to the template. The next thing I did was attempt to change the time zone from U.S./Michigan to U.S./Eastern. When the page refreshed, I got the error message included below. After that, every time I attempted to edit any template, I got the sam error message. I am accessing Adobe Connect using the Google Chrome browser Version 32.0.1700.107 m. I tried loggin in with Internet Explorer 9 version 9.0.8112.16421. At first, it seemed to work, but then I went to edit something in the catalog (adding a graphic), and, suddenly, I got the error again.
I tried to contact Support through chat, but they don't support trials. Can anyone help me with this issue?

As you mentioned that editing was working first time but after changing the template and then when you refreshed the page it shows error. So can you check the following steps and see if editing works -
1. Please ensure that the user should be member of Event Magnager group to edit the template.If the user who is getting error while editing is not a member of that group then please add this role to the user.
2. How are you changing the page background color ? There is component available in sidekick to change the page background. Are you using the same component ?
If still you are getting the same erro while editing the template with this user, then create a new user and provide this user Event Manager and Event Adminitrator group membership and try to edit the template using this user.
It should work fine and you should not get any error while editing. Please let me know if you face any issue.

Error msg trying to get to edit event template
Below is the message, any time I try to edit an event template or email template. Mac OSX 10.9.2, Safari 7.0.3 Savvy user. Have edited events and templates many times before. PLEASE check on this one and reply.

The same error (or similar) occurs when trying to edit email templates as well. Also occurs in Chrome browser.
Have restarted Macbook.
Have tried at several times of day.
Have cleared cache.
I am the administrator on the account-- FULL admin privileges.
I have edited MANY templates before (both Events and Email). Am a "power user"!
Am trying to make changes to our registration pages and emails due to Adobe's email domain name change announced (suddenly) this week. We tell people to whitelist so they will receive our AdobeConnect emails.
Customer support ticket system keeps dumping me back here. Come on, "experts"... you can at least ANSWER. It has been 23 hr, 50 minutes.

Error when editing a Web Template
Hi,
I have a Web Template created in BW 3.5, When I edit the template in web application designer and run it in browser it gives some junk. Is there any other way by which I can edit the template.

Are you editing that template in the same version of BW or in an higher version. IF you want to run it in BI7.0 you need to first migrate it to 7.0 and the you can run it.
Are you able to run other web templates sucessfully ??? This is to check that there is no issue with your EP.

I import the titles successfully. The error message is for import GL active account.
The error message is the namespace element 'schema' must be from the schema namespace.
I leave some columns blank if we don't need it. I tried tYes and tNo the same error.

Thanks in advance.The cause for this seems to be that a row in a table is larger than a page, and there is no place left for the Header row.
Check the bellow action plan:
1. Edit the template in MS Word.
2. Click on the table.
3. Right click on the little crossed square in the upper right corner of the table.
4. Click on 'Table Properties' / tab 'ROW'.
5. Look at all rows by using the button 'Next Row'.
6. If 'Repeat as Header at the top of each page' is checked, please uncheck it.
7. Save the template and retry.

Urgent - Error when opening web template
Hello,
I was trying to open few CRM SAP standard web template in WAD. When I try to open the web template, getting the following error:
'The selected web template contains HTML fragments, non-supported web items or it is not designed to be edited with WAD. ......' Although I can execute templates and also can execute with 'RS_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN' in BWD.
I tried all the CRM web templates and getting same opening error. How can I solve this problem? I want to see the template in WAD. Is there any solution?

AshokYou can only view the template "HTML" (code) view with WAD for the problem you described. This can be done using RS_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN or WAD. You cannot view the template using WAD to get the "Layout" graphical view (is this what you are trying to see?).
The only way to get around this is to strip out the HTML "fragments" from the HTML code, or to partition the templates into sub-templates. -
Error with Dynamic XML template in interactive form callable objects :GP
Hi,
We are trying to implement Offline adobe forms using guided procedures (Impersonalized forms).
We have no problem while creating the callable object using the normal xdp template. But whenever we try to use Acrobat 7/8 dynamic xml template, the following error occurs and the template is not picked.
"Could not retrieve template fields: Wrong document format or adapter mismatch from adapter"
Cant we use dynamic xml templates for adobe forms in GP? If we can, how to resolve this? Please let me know.

Posting Purchase order through DTW template

Good Morning
I am importing po through DTW templete.
after import, Item in a PO is taking price which is link to pricelist attachwith BP
(BP ->Payment tab) and showing adjusted price as discount. so total value of item is matched But total value of PO is wrong because of discount amount.
I explained it with example
I want to import item A with following details
In legacy system, PO details is
ITEM - A Price - 1.00 quanity - 100 Amount- 100
ITEM - B Price - 5.5 quanity - 100 Amount- 550
Total PO Amount - 650
After importing above po in SBO, i have got above PO as
Price list attached with BP Is Purchse List and Rates of following item in that pricelist are ITEM A - 1.5 ITEM B - 5.5
ITEM - A Price - 1.50 quanity - 100 discount- -0.33 AMOUNT : 100
ITEM - B Price - 5.5 quanity - 100 discount- 0.00 aMOUNT : 550
TOtal Befor Discount : 650
Discount : -50
Total PO Amount 700
Means Po amount in Legacy system is 650
and in SAP BO, it show that amount as Total Before Discount

I have one problem while importing po throu dtw template.
I already imported po through DTW.
But after importing PO. Rates of Item are picked from pricelist.
That pricelist is link to Business partner of that PO through payment term which is attached to that payment term. or default price list which is first in list of prices.
My original price is stored as Gross Price and price in pricelist as UNIT PRICE
in PO. therefore SBO sets automatically discount field as proportional of Gross price to unit price.
We already discussed, and i set discount field as zero.
There is any field which is help to store Gross price (actual unit price in legacy system) as unit price.
Please drop any light on this topic

Unable to edit document template in SharePoint 2013
We have uploaded a set of templates that users can select from the drop down list in the Document field in the Document Library. We now need to edit one of these document templates.
We follow the procedure and make the edits which changes the template but when we then select that template from the drop down list, the edits have not been actioned.

As I understand, The modification was not saved back to the template.
How do you edit the document template?
Check if the URL of the template is right. You can go to the site setting->site content type->click the content type you want to edit->advanced setting->edit the template->open the template, and click file->to check if the URL under the template is right.
As a workaround, when you edit the template you can save the template in the local computer, and you can upload the template you have saved in the advanced setting for the content type.
The article below is about how to create Document Templates for Document Libraries in SharePoint 2010, it also can work in SharePoint 2013.

In Pages, In the past, I was able to edit a template and "save a version" to update the template. Now i have to rename the template to save the changes. Why is this happening? what happen to "save a version"? its no longer an option under "file". And I can no longer open the actual template, when template is clicked, it automaticaly opens an "untitled" version???
In your description you say the first document opens as the Title you gave it.
Templates always open as Untitled so it sounds like you have saved a regular document, perhaps into your templates folder which is possible.
Since you have already worked on it and it has been previously saved, Lion will now Save for you and Save a Version is available
The other document does open as Untitled so sounds like a real template and as Peggy has pointed out will not have either Revert nor Save a Version until you Save it and have changed something in it.
This is a classic example of just how Apple's supposedly "simplification" of the process, is leading to confusion of what has happened. That the conditions and resulting actions from those conditions is so convoluted says it all.
It all reminds me of the Monty Python Life of Brian sketch with the "simplified" John Cleese instructions to the class, as to if you have a brother in an older dorm whether to hang your hat and bag on the hooks provided. The trouble is Apple does not get the joke, that it is transforming itself into a frequently self contradictory bumbling bureacracy. The price of unchallenged self appointed geniushood.

Error , while running the Template Installer
Hi Experts,
I am getting the following error when running the Template Installer in NWA.
When i trying to save the domain information in CMS , i am getting the following error.
Unexpected error; inform your system administrator: <Localization failed: ResourceBundle='com.sap.cms.util.exception.CMSExceptionMessages', ID='SLD name-server configuration error', Arguments: []> : Can't find resource for bundle java.util.PropertyResourceBundle, key SLD name-server configuration error.
I have seen following solution in the forums.
In the SLD->Technical Landscape-> Technical System Type, select "System Landscape Directory" ensure that the SLD server you use has the 'Name Server' check box selected and right CIM Server URL is mentioned.
But i haven't find this navigation for (Technical Landscape)in my SLD again in that choosing the"System Landscape Directory" . Please let me know the correct path to fix this problem.

Under the "Home" -> Link having Landscape -> Technical System and Landscapes.
