Error in EEWB deleting a field

Question

Hello,
I was supposed to add a new customer field in a tab of CRMD order using EEWB.
When I looked at the extension already created i saw that my field had already been created but it wasn't available in CRMD_ORDER transaction.
So as to get what I wanted, I tried to delete the field from the existing task to create a clean new one.
The problem is that when I deleted the old field (using wizard) and tried to activate the former extension I had and error telling that table had to be adapted. So I went to se14 to adapt it and tried to activate again my extension. But there was no way, it said something like "Project could not be read".
As a result my extension appears red and broken and the wizard is not available any more.
Reading some posts of these forums I arrived to think I had to delete that broken extension and create it again from 0.
I fear I might loose my existing data. What about it?
I tried to delete the extension but it told me that "The order/task XXXX did not exists".
What can I do to go back to the previous version of my extension and to add my new field in my screen.

HI Nirmit,
   Yes you are right. EEWB will not support the deletion of a project if any errors are found. for your serino (1) u revert back to previous version and when that project is fine u can delete the complete project.
Regard point (2) if PE(1) was fine ( i.e without errors) then u can use start wizard and at the place where u ad fileds u can deelte the fileds . this works fine in CRM 4.0.
Point (3) is the way to overcome but always u can delete ur PE1 if it does not have errors
