Error in erecruitment after selecting candidate selection

Hi experts,
We are implementing SAP eRecruitmen.In BSP Pages while selecting candidate selection options it is showing dump.
we are getting error like
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "CL_HRRCF_SES_BUSOBJ_FROM_SPTYPCP" had to be
terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_CREATE_OBJECT_ERROR', was
caught in
procedure "READ_SPT_INFOCATE_FIELDS" "(METHOD)", nor was it propagated by a
RAISING clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
The dynamically specified class " " at CREATE OBJECT neither exists as
local, nor as global class in the system, or is overshadowed by a local
data type of the same name.

Kidnly guide us as this is affecting our prodcution system
We had EHP2 runing efficiently until we upgraded to EHP4. Currently in Prodcution we have both EHP2 & EHP4. however, our client is using only EHP2 now.
The issue is in EHP2 as well in EHP4 pages of Requisition> Candidate Selection> Assignment to requisition we are getting the following message for all Recruiter roles: "An internal Error has occirred.Please try again later"- under Selection Criteria and Display Selection..The recruiter is unable to perform assignment to requisition for the candidates.
The same error when we check in EHP4 as well.
Please reply asap.

Javascript error in IE after re-generating select list

Hi,
I have 2 select lists (Apex 4 cascading select list; the second one is driven by the first one) in a form. I use jQuery modal dialog to show a hidden item to allow users to add new values to the second select list. After that, I use the following JavaScripts to re-generate the options in the second select list. Somehow, in IE, it re-generates the options but shows error after that. It looks like the error complains somewhere after the options have been re-generated.
Does anyone have any idea about how to force a select list to refresh (or any jQuery/Apex API) - without submitting the form?

Be sure to start your iMac using its original grey System Install DVD: Insert that disc and start your Mac while holding the d key. At the Mac OS X Utilities screen select Disk Utility and format the hard disk. Select "Mac OS X Extended (Journaled)".
Then, install OS X.

Error after selecting sales organization in trade promotion after UPGRADE

Hi all,
our system is upgraded from CRM 5.0 to CRM 7.0
as many of things changed, I can't find why these problems occur and so, can't solve.
When creating a trade promotion in marketing I enter the basic data, like type, description and so on.
Then I select a sales organization
After selecting, every entry for any field in promotion, we take a bsp error. like products or aything else

I think that the BI planning grid will be editable after change to system status release. I think that there must be code in the system to make it read only based on status.
I would suggest looking for that code. In a standard system, the BI planning grid is editable when the promotion is editable.

Provisioning Profiles Generation gives "Unknown Error" after Selecting Members

Well, I can no longer generate provisioning profiles because it gives an unknown error after selecting members and clicking continue. Any workarounds?

They mentioned when I called that the (-18) error is a network error because of their activation servers being down at this time. They said the activation servers are used to authenticate restores through iTunes for the iPhone. It should be back up tonight or tomorrow sometime according to support.
So if its not back up by tomorrow I will call again. Thanks for the help.

Update and restore error messages on iPhone and iPod touch

After selecting system preferences it results in error compatible modus

After selecting several optiona in system preferences i.e. Time-Machine, iCloud and MessageCenter I get an error "In order to use preferences "Messaging", you must close and then open System Preferences".
It seems that this is cuased by compatibility mode, the Help-window is showing :
Open System Preferences in compatibility mode
Some preference panels make use of older technologies, which must be closed System Preferences and then to be opened in a mode that is compatible with the older technologies.
If you have a preference pane that is not suitable for 64-bit computers, open System Preferences in 32-bit mode. When you exit System Preferences and then open it again, again the 64-bit mode.
But closing and opening does not solve this problem and I'm not able to change any of those options.
Can somebody tell me how this can be solved?

The program was marked as "Open in 32-bits mode", due to remark of mjmatty who had a similar issue and changed the mode into 64-bits it is working.

1 Click the “Finder” icon on the dock at the bottom of your screen.
2 Select “Applications” at the left side of the Finder window.
3 Select System Preferences
4 Press and hold the “Control” key on your keyboard and click the “System Preferences” icon.
5 Click “Get Info” in the menu that appears.

Are you certain that you are on the correct layer?
As a test, try this:
Select the object with one of the selection tools, e.g. lasso, selection brush.tool. You should see "marching ants" once the selection is complete
Place the selection on its own layer (Layer>new>layer via copy or CTRL+J). This will place the object on a separate layer.
With this layer active, use the move tool to move/position it
Does that work?

Data Error in the Query/Report after selective data deletion for infocube

Hi Experts,
Please advise what i was missing and what went wrong...
I got a Query (Forecast) on a Multicube...which is based on 2 Infocubes with Aggregates...
As i identified some data discrepency..yesteraday i performed selective data deleation on one of the Infocube
and executed report yesteraday and the results in the query are correct...
When today i executed the same report i am getting different results..
When i compared the results of the report with that of data in cube they are not matching
The report is not displaying the data in cube..for some rows it is displaying the data in the cube but for some rows it is just displaying same as the above row
there is no data loaded into info cube after selective deleation
Do i need to perform request compression and fill the aggregated after selective deleation
Please advise what went wrong

No i haven't done anything on aggregates before or after selective delete
As there is not data load after the selective delete according to SAP Manual we don't need to perform any thing on aggregates...as selective data deletion on cube will delete data from aggregates as well

We have a selection variable in our webinterface on company code.After selecting '#',i am entering data and while saving it goes to dump.
but client wants to have an error message displayed after saving data instead of runtime error (dump).so that user can select required company code.
Error analysis is:
A RAISE statement in the program "SAPLRSDRI" raised the exception
condition "ILLEGAL_INPUT".
Since the exception was not intercepted by a superior program
in the hierarchy, processing was terminated.
Short description of exception condition:
For detailed documentation of the exception condition, use
Transaction SE37 (Function Library). You can take the called
function module from the display of active calls.

Hello Murali,
What you would need to do is to change the attributes of the variable.
1. In BPS0, you can make it as a mandatory entry.
2. In the web layout, you can create a variable for Company code and force the user to choose a value from a dropdown list.
The specific approach would depend on how the layout is being called and how it has been setup.

Blank Screen after selecting a role within the new WebClient User Interface

Hi,
I have another Problem with the new UI.
I did all steps as described within the Best Practice Guide for the new Web Client (C04). I used this guide to set up our CRM 2007 System.
Unfortunately no matter what I do after selecting the appropriate role after logging on to the system I only get a blank screen and nothin else happens. Even changes to the navigation frame have no effect.
If I do not assign a business role I get at least this error. But after doing this I allways got a blank screen no matter what I change in customizing.
Does anyone have any clues where the error might lie?

We are at the clients place facing the same problem. After logging in it is asking to select business roles like salespro,marketpro....etc...but after selecting this role we are getting blank white screen in the browser with URl- http://*******.**.com:8030/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_ui_frame/default.htm?sap-client=150&sap-sessioncmd=open
We have followed the latest 2007 Best Practice where we have assigned the roles to user like : SAP_CRM_UIIU_FRAMEWORK
SAP_CRM_OR_ADMIN
SAP_CRM_OR_USER
BP_POWERUSER
In best practice 5.2 this role was assigned through Org Model where as in 2007 first it guides us to get the WebClient and then asking us to create Org Model.
you had mentioned that you got rectified through local server settings on OS level. Can you please help in explaining what exactly you did to rectify the DNS setting????
Any other solution most welcome

On getting into monitor , the Status tab says" Error occurred in Data Selection".
Message text is :
Delta request REQU_D5XVIKL0GSIIZAWDIOB9HIOOQ is incorrect in the monitor
A repeat needs to be requested
Data target 0FIGL_O02 still includes delta request REQU_D5XVIKL0GSIIZAWDIOB9HIOOQ
If the repeat is now loaded, then after the load
there could be duplicate data in the data targets
Request the repeat?
Please advise.

Repeat delta is only available in case of transaction Data source.
For transaction datasource system stores two fields
1. Last delta
2. Repeat Delta.
In case we set request status not ok and save the status, BW System udpates the repeat delta field and thus for next data extraction system marks the request diff. as repeat delta and starts from Repeat delta field value instead of Last delta.
In case of normal delta request from BW system takes Last delta fields into consideration.

[ADF-UIX] updating some fields after selecting an item from messageChoice

I'll try and keep it short and simple.
How do I do the following: I have 2 ViewObjects: department - employees, they
have a 1 - many relationship. But there's no master-detail in my ViewObjects
(no link between my view objects)
On my UIX page I have a input form for Employees, with a messageChoice for
choosing a department. And I show an extra label department_description, which
comes from Department view. How can I update this label after selecting an item
from the messageChoice?
Is is possible?
I tried searching this forum, but didnt find anything, hard define search
parameters for this :)

I tried it in another page, one with a read-only form for courses.
There it kinda works for the first 2 out of 3 items in the messageChoice,
but not the last option.
It does give me an error in JDev during runtime though

Can it be because CourseView has 2 EntityObjects, course and course_codes.
and I have a course_codeView, with just 1 EntityObject, course_codes
So when im building the uix page I have 2 options where to pull the longname
from, CourseView and course_codeView. I tried both btw, and only the longname
from CourseView changes. I would expect the other one to change.
Oh well, im kinda lost now, perhaps I'll drop this feature and think of an
otherway to implement my screen.

Check authorization after selection in navigation bar

Hi,
there is a standard entry in the navigation bar "Create service ticket" that calls the view set SrvTViewSet for creation of service tickets. The viewset contains of four standard view areas, SrvtHead, SrvtBus, SrvtPartner, SrvtSLA. We have not modified the views themselves, only the IMPL- class for the SrvtHead since we have modfied methods in the class. The problem occurs when the user do not have the right authorization to create service tickets at all (after she has selected Create service ticket in the navigation bar), then an error message is created saying "Wrong authorization" but the four screens also dumps with message cx_sf_ref_is initial or an exemption has occurred in cx_bsp_element_exception.
First I tried to take care of the authorization check myself in each view of the four but then I thougt that this would not be the correct solution. Instead the user would get an error message when she selects "Create service ticket" in the navigation bar and an error message would appear before showing the Create service ticket view at all. Is this possible? There is two authorization objects created but the standard does not seem to work regarding the authorization check.
Is there anyone having any ideas?

I think what you can do is , replace the Controller for the Navbar view CL_CRM_IC_NAVBARVIEW with your own Custom Class ( do a controller replacement in the Framework Profile )
Then Redefine the Method PROCESS_NAVIGATION_REQUEST
Inside this method , you can check what is the current Nav Link Clicked , if it is 'Create Service Ticket' , perform the Authorization check or whatever you want and if it not successful , raise a Error Message using below Code and have a RETURN statement .
data : lv_msgsrv type ref to cl_bsp_wd_message_service.
lv_msgsrv = cl_bsp_wd_message_service=>get_instance( ).
lv_msgsrv->add_message( ..... ) .
