Error in event receiver  Archivelink Service Pack 20

We implemented Archive link 3 years ago and for the first year, I was constantly bombarded with enqueue errors from  background steps that attach images to documents.  The images were always attached fine so these were just a nuisance.
At some point, a service pack must have fixed this because they just stopped happening two years ago.
Over the weekend, we upgraded to SP 22 and now the enqueue error are back with a vengeance =(
I get 40-50 of these per day now and it's blowing up my SBWP inbox:
Error processing following event linkage:

    Hi,
Please refer the link [Workflow System Administrator Role|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp2/helpdata/en/8c/1923ce932b11d2a5ea0060087a79ea/content.htm] - The administrator needs to be assigned with these roles mentioned in this hellp documentation.
The error message in your case indicates that there is some problem in the "Event Linkage". KNA1 is the Customer Master Table. I guess it is the "STATUSCHAGED" event of Customer Object is having some event linkage problem. You can check the event type linkages in SWETYPV Transaction. Thanks.

    Hi BP,
are you using any rule in your WF?
    check if binding is proper,
check if you passing PO parameters properlty, as ReleaseCode would be a mandatory field in your WF/task container.
    Hope it helps.

I suppose, you are using the workflow WS20000075. Add sending email as an additional task to the same workflow in SWDD.

  • Error 1060 Event server, integration services.

    Hola,

  • Errors when trying to install Service Pack 3 for Exchange 2010

I have 2 Exchange 2010 servers that are running SP2 and I am trying to install SP3 on both.
They are installed in a DAG and so I am running the .\StartDAGserverMaintenance.ps1 script before attempting to install SP3.  When attempting to run the SP3 setup I get the following errors:
Setup cannot continue with the upgrade because the 'powershell' (Machine: P-E10-2.company.com) process (ID: 5296) has open files. Close the process and restart Setup.
    AND
Install hotfix Microsoft Knowledge Base article 2550886 from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2550886 to improve Windows Failover Cluster transient communication instability when deploying stretched Database Availability Groups across datacenters.
I can download the hotfix and apply it but has anyone had any issues with this particular hotfix?  Does anyone have any ideas about the powershell error?
    thanks for your help.

    Hi,
That hotfix relates to a known issue implementing DAG's across data centres (an issue particularly with Windows failover clustering). As a best practice is should always be installed. Please review the following article, which describes why it should be
    installed:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2011/11/20/recommended-windows-hotfix-for-database-availability-groups-running-windows-server-2008-r2.aspx
In regards to the open files, as the other poster suggested, there will be another user logged onto the server who has a powershell window open. Ensure all other users are logged off the server before performing the upgrade.

  • Error 1101 still appers with XP Home Service Pack 3 - What Now?

    Hi,
I have received an error message 1101 (corrupt windows installer service) after trying to update Java.
My system is Windows XP Home with (recently updated Service Pack 3).
This error messgae also appeared with service pack 2 , so I don't think the recent upgrade to service pack 3 is any cause.
    I have tried Java's instructions to ..........
    Go to Start -> Run.
    Type msiexec.exe /unregister
    Click OK
    Go to Start -> Run.
    Type msiexec.exe /regserver
    Click OK
    Run the Java installation again.
This did not work, so tried their next suggestion to...........
If the above fails to address the issue, download and install the latest Windows Installer Service from Microsoft for your respective operating system.
For related information visit: Microsoft Windows Installer
This did not work either as Microsoft download advised as I have Service Pack 3 I do not need the download.
So I still have this error 1101 message when update Java and presume it has something to do with this Windows Installer Service. (actually wondering if this why my pages are taking longer than normal to load also).
I could restore back to before servic pack installation and then try the microsoft download but wondering if there are any other suggestions first.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks

I have exactly the same problem - XP Service pack 3 and can't successfully install Java update. I also have followed all of the advice mentioned with "msiexec.exe /unregister" and "msiexec.exe /regserver" and then renamed the files and tried again, and then tried it in safe boot mode, then tried to update the Windows service, etc. but to no avail. I still keep getting:
"Error 1101.Error reading from file:http://javad-esd.sun.con/update/1.6.0/sp-1.6.0_07/sp1033.MST. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it."
Has anyone with XP service pack 3 had any joy? Mike_Shellshear

  • The procedure entry point getlogicalprocessorinformation could not be located in the dynamic link kernel32.dll   . I got this error after downloading and installing Frame MAker 12. My system os is service pack 2.

The above mentioned error is displayed when i open Adobe Framemaker 12 after installing it.
the procedure entry point getlogicalprocessorinformation could not be located in the dynamic link kernel32.dll
    this is the error.
my os is windows service pack 2
    2 gb ram

You don't mention which specific version of the operating system that you are using - Windows XP, Vista, or 7 and whether you're using a 32-bit or 64-bit version.
FWIW, kernell32.dll is a Windows system-level module, so it's possible that you have some corruption in your Windows installation which is preventing FM from launching.
Also, 2Gb of RAM is a bit lean for FM.

  • ICloud says there is server error when I try sign in on Windows Vista x32 service pack 2. Can't set it up on my PC any ideas?

iCloud says "you can't sing in because of a server error" running Windows Vista x32 service pack 2. Can't set it up on my PC any ideas?

I have used the solution below to fix mine and others that have run into this issue.
Start --> Programs --> Accessories (Right Click on Command Prompt) --> Run as Administrator
then type in:  "Netsh winsock reset"  (-without the quotes-)
Hit enter, restart PC, iCloud For PC should now connect without any server errors
(This solutions will work in some instances when trying to fix errors associated when you are unable to connect to iTunes also.)

  • Fix for continuous reboot after installing Service Pack 3 in Windows XP

After contacting HP Technical Support and speaking to a supervisor we were able to solve the problem of Windows continuously rebooting after installing SP3. Here are the steps that fixed the problem with my HP Pavilion running on an AMD processor. The steps are actually fairly straight forward and easy....
Issue: The computer reboots continuously after installing Windows XP service pack 3
Computer reboots continuously after installing Windows XP service pack 3 on AMD systems. The problem is that with some configurations, SP3 causes the computer to crash during boot, and Windows XP, by default, is set up to automatically reboot when it crashes. That is why you end up in the endless rebooting scenario.
    Cause:
On HP computers, the same Windows installation disc image for Intel processor based PC's is deployed for the AMD processor based computers as well. Because the original installation image for both Intel and AMD is the same, all have the intelppm.sys driver installed and running. That driver provides power management on Intel-based computers. On an AMD-based computer, amdk8.sys provides the same functionality for power management.
    Symptoms:
Ordinarily, having intelppm.sys running on an AMD-based computer appears to cause no problems. However, on the first reboot after a Service Pack 3 installation, it causes a big problem. The computer either fails to boot, or crashes with a STOP error code of 0x0000007e.
You may not see the error code because the computer reboots too fast. In order to get the error message, you need to set an option during startup. To do so, open the windows advanced menu by tapping the f8 key on startup. Then select the "Disable automatic restart on system failure" option.
    Solution:
If you have an AMD-based computer, however, you do not need the intelppm.sys driver and can disable it. There are three methods in order to do this.
Step 1: Please try to log on the system in safe mode.
    1. While using Safe mode open the command prompt....  Start, All Programs, Accessories, Command Prompt
Run the following command in the command prompt just like it's typed: sc config intelppm start= disabled
    Step 2:
If the issue persists, please try to log on or boot the system in recovery console (refer to the web document)
    2. Using recovery console:
If you booted into the recovery console, from a command prompt, type: disable intelppm
Step 3: Please check in registry.
    3. Using windows registry:
    1. Run regedit
    2. Click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
    3. From the File menu, select "Load hive"
    4. Navigate to %systemdriver%\Windows\System32\Config on the dead system and select the file name System
    5. Name it something you can remember, such as "horked"
    6. Navigate to horked\ControlSet001\Services\IntelPPM
    7. Double click the Start value and set it to 4
    8. If you did what I did and completely messed things up by running a disk check previously, navigate to ControlSet001\Control\SessionManager. Open the BootExecute value and clear out the autochk entries.
    9. Repeat steps 6-8 for the other control sets.
    10. Reboot

For future reference: Service pack 3 Installation steps:
Before installing the service pack 3 update, please follow the steps listed above and save yourself much time and effort.
To uninstall service pack 3, I suggest that you uninstall it from add/remove programs.
    Step 1:
Uninstall service pack 3 from add/remove programs:
    1. Click Start.
    2. Select Run.
    3. Type appwiz.cpl in the run field.
    4. Click OK.
    5. Click change or remove programs.
    6. Select the program -service pack 3 that you want to uninstall or remove.
    7. Click Remove button.
    8. It will pop up the message stating that "Are you sure you want to remove the programs".
    9. Click Yes. It will help you to remove or uninstall the installed programs from add and remove programs.
Step 2: If the issue persists, I suggest you to perform system restore and then try to install the service pack 3 after performing the steps mentioned above in regards to removing the intelppm.sys Driver.

I hope this helps someone who is having this problem. It sure took me a minute to get it all figured out. :0)

Still useful as of 12/30/11. Have ten Lenovo 5042 computers with downgrade licenses to run XP and have a ghosted image from another Lenovo 5042 having and Intel cpu. My target computers all have AMD cpus in them and the image would continuously reboot on
    the AMD computers.
Used method 1 and it cleared the problem instantly, many thanks for the post and the time and effort it took to dig up the answer..

  • Which service packs are the eqivalent as the Windows 7 version for W2003?

Thank you for your response to "Crystal Reports XI Release 2 .Net 2005 Server Compatability":
Crystal Reports XI Release 2 .Net 2005 Server Compatability
I did try the Service Pack update for Windows 7 and it worked and resolved the error -- Thank you!
Several Service Pack links and instructions were provided for Windows Server 2008 R2 64-Bit.
I have not as yet tried them, but I did leave out a question:
The best practice to to use the same version of any software on all platforms:  development, test and production.
Since it will be requried to use the Service Pack version for Windows 7 and we are currently on Windows Server 2003 32-Bit  for development and production, which service packs are the eqivalent as the Windows 7 version for Windows Server 2003 32 Bit?
We currently use NO service pack version of Crystal Reports XI Release 2 .Net 2005 Server on these Windows 2003 Server 32-Bit web servers -- what is the equivalent version which matches the Windows 7 version? -- so that all platforms are using the same version of Crystal Reports XI Release 2 .Net 2005 Server?
    Appreciate all of your help.....Dave

If I understand the question then the best way to approach this is to ensure that any and all versions of what ever OS you deploy to have the latest runtime:
    https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100000634042010E/crxir2sp6_net_mm.zip

These will work on WIN2003, Win2008, Win7, XP, etc., etc.

  • Vista 32bit, Service Pack 1 fails to install.

I'm consistantly getting an error attempting to install Vista Service Pack 1 from Windows Update. Here's the error code:

  • Office 2010 Service Pack 2 (SP2) installation failing with error code 0x80070643 and B56

I've been trying to install Office 2010 service pack 2 (32 bit) multiple ways without success. I've tried getting it directly from Microsoft Update, downloading the full file from Microsoft and installing it, using WSUS to deploy to clients, and I've tried

I need a solution that doesn't involve touching each PC manually, as I have a feeling this error is going to occur on several hundred PC's in my organization. So far on a group of 15-20 test PC's, every one has failed. We have not had problems with any other
    Microsoft Updates before this one.

I too have been unable to install the Office 2010 SP2 update on either a Win7 or a Win 8 system.  Researching the errors I got led me to discover the following:
    1. Many people are encountering errors during the SP2 installation. Some were able to get around it by downloading the self-installing package and bypassing Windows Update.  Some were able to get it installed by first doing a Repair on Office 210 itself
first, and then installing SP2.  But many others have not been able to install it at all.
    2. Apparently a common and insurmountable issue that prevents SP2 from installing is the lack of the MSOCACHE directory.  This directory normally gets installed on a machine during the original install of Office, and contains all the install files used
during the installation.  Apparently the idea behind creating MSOCACHE was to allow subsequent updates without requiring the user to have the original source CD available.
The problem is that if MSOCACHE is deleted, which is an option many people choose, you can then no longer do any updates to Office.
I am one of those people.
I found a posting that described a way to recreate MSOCACHE from the source CD.  I did that, and the SP2 update actually got farther - it started to install stuff but then stopped and asked for a particular file.  I found the file on the CD and
pointed the installer to it, but it said the file was not found and quit.  So my install still failed.
The last response I got at the Microsoft Answers site was to wait until SP2 is debugged.  It's not clear to me this will ever happen, but we'll see.
