Error in executing eCATT GUI Script

I am getting following error (in bold) while executing eCATT GUI Script. This happens only for GUI Scripts and not for TCD scripts. Please help me to solve this issue.

    i think ur problem is resolved. Can u help for the below issue.
      Scenario:
       And i working on testing server which does not have any trasaction, i have to record the transaction using RFC connection to different machine.
       I did all the that process and able to connect remote machine.
      i started doing the recoding in SAPGUI after creation of sys. Data container by specifying RFC connection.
        I recorded the script, but when i try to execute the same this attached error r coming.
       But i recorded the same using TCD(Recorded) using remote connection and able to sucessfully execute.
       One more thing also, we used write the script for reading the test data from Excel and pass as parameters using TCD(Recording).
Below is the error

Found this program RPT_ECATT_EXECUTE_TEST to execute eCATT Test Scripts in the background. However, when i try to run a TCD test script in the background, im getting a "Control Framework: Fatal error - GUI cannot be reached" error in the job log.
Is there a workaround for this?

If the recording is done using SAPGUI , here is the solution .
Say there are 3 radio buttons.
First time record with only one radio button clicked , complete the entire recording and save the script.
Split the recording using Methode wise, once this done you will have one SAPGUI for each operation performed.
Reopen the script in the change mode and also open the transaction screen where you want to record the remaining radio buttons.
Do a SAPGUI attach twice once for each radio button after the SAPGUI of the first radio button .
Once all the recoding is complete.
Declare 3 different input parameters (basically 3 flags), one for each radio button.
Note: SAPGUI recording is done only for checking the radio button and not unchecking.
IF ( input_parameter_radio_button_1 = 'x' ).
SAPGUI ( first radio button).
endif.
IF ( input_parameter_radio_button_2 = 'x' ).
SAPGUI ( second radio button).
endif.
Similarly for the third one.

Error while executing a uinx script in BODS job - exit code 127

I am executing a UNIX script using BODS job and it is giving an error message saying 'Program terminated because of exit code 127'. The same script i am able to execute in UNIX. I am not able to find the solution for this.

Using a print command with return code 8 should give more insight to the error.

Error while executing unix shell script from java program

I am trying to execute unix shell script from a java program using Runtime.execute() method by passing script name and additional arguments.

SAP ECC6 sr3 upgrade error in executing MSSCONCHECK.SQL script

I am facing this error which is very annoying , I am executing Prepare Upgrade script for ECC6 SR3 from SAP 4.7 Sr2 with windows 2003 server and MSSQL 2005 server as backend. I am facing below error

I have done a number of changes in system i checked the SIDadm user is assigned a default DB T47 and has said role assigned allready.
I restarted the system after changes and started the prepare batch file again but with sme probelm again. so can anybody guide me on this. I seen a number of threads but there is no any concrete solution providedby them.

i read those note but everything seems normal to me on my PC; it has remote access enabled, t47vmhost2/t47adm is the user configured (although its not a domain configuration (installation) but t47vmhost2 is the computer name. So its kind of local user defined in SQL with said authorization. below is the log from file MSSCONCHECK.LOG

Essbase error 1033, executing a calc script through HAL

A daily HAL job executes a calc script that returned a 1033 error.

Our job that failed which runs about 6 times daily successfully ran on the next scheduled run with zero changes. Some sort of hiccup (unexplainable).

Executing SAP GUI Script From a Web Page

I have an issue when trying to execute some javascript (sap gui script) from a webpage.
When the javascript is executed I get the message:
automation server unable to create object.
However, this exact same javascript when placed in a text file and double-clicked executes just fine through the windows scripting host.
Does anyone have an example of gui script code executing from a webpage? Or any ideas on why it isn't working from the webpage? Both scenarios should be executing the code on the local machine through WSH.

the following code works in VBS. If you run saplogon.exe you'll get a message box saying '/app'.

MsgBox application.id
I haven't tried it on a web page, but I don't see why it shouldn't work there. Ok, maybe the MsgBox is command is not available.

Runtime Error while executing eCATT Script

Hello @All,
I worte a small eCATT script to stop the time a certain process needs to finish. The way I did this was to use the SAPGui (Record) method in eCATT.
This does work fine.
The second step I tried was to log the time and write it in a table to work with the times.
If I do this I always get an runtime error, I know why it appears but I do not have any idea how to solve this.
My script is:
message ( UZEIT ).
SAPGUI ( CC04_100_STEP_1 ).
SAPGUI ( CC04_1100_STEP_1 ).
endmessage( UZEIT ).
settab ( ypdm1t001, UZEIT ).
UZEIT is an Inputparameter with no reference.
The short text of the runtime error is:
Access not possible using 'NULL' object reference.
If I delete the definition of the parameter UZEIT the runtime error does not appear but I get the error in the Log that the parameter UZEIT is not defined.
Does anyone has a solution for this problem?

UZEIT is a command interface (I changed it so that is no more an parameter).
There seem to be no restrictions to add values in the table. I already spoke to collegues here and they cannot find a mistake.
I would further try to describe you what I want to do. Perhaps you have better ideas.
What I want to achive is to get an overview over response times of defined transactions.
We have a system landscape with local SAPGUIs and with installations on WTS and we want to compare response times from both sides.
Therefore I made the eCATT skripts.
Now I want to write the times somewhere so that I need not to write them down from every log file.
At this point I wanted to write the times (which should be stored in UZEIT) to a table so that afterwards a report can write those times in an excel file.
If you have better ideas to realize this please tell me.

You can add the line "set -x" at the beginning of your script to see at which line it fails? I suspect the . ./env line.

Well this script was made by a developer and now I have to run it in production environment...

[SOLVED] error when execute a python script in home partition

After of install the Arch in my notebook (note: "/" and "/home" in separated partition) if I open a terminal/shell and try execute a python program/script in the /home partition I receive many erros and the program don't run:

Getting SP2-0306 error while executing a scrpt.

Hi all,
We are using oracle version 11GR2 .
I am getting the below error while executing a unix script which connect to DB and returns a value. Why we get such issues/ anything wrong in the setup ?
Same code working fine in old db. any idead how to resolve this?

I am calling the script checkdbtoproceedjob from another script as below.

HOwever, If I execute the script alone as below it is returning the values. I don't think there is issue with credentials.

Difference between SAP GUI scripting and eCATT

HI,
What is difference between SAP GUI Script and eCATT.
I know that SAP GUI Script can be used for transaction that have activex controls but can we use these script in eCATT also.
If yes, how?

Hi Priya,
SAPGUI script will only work from an external program, may be VB or vbScript. ECATT can only execute a fixed set of commands e.g. (TCD, SAPGUI etc) or a block of ABAP code. ECATT can both work in foreground and background mode.
In foreground mode you would be able to see the script running on your frontend whereas background mode will create a job in the SAP system.
You can convert your SAPGUI scripts to SAPGUI commands and execute. If you strictly want to execute SAPGUI script from ECATT then you would have to save the script somewhere on your desktop computer and call it from an ABAP block in ECATT.

error while executing script for sharepoint online (office 365) - the remote server returned an error: (503) server unavailable.
I am creating many site collections reading records from sharepoint list using powershell in sharepoint online tenant (office 365).
Few site collections are created and then getting above error so this error record will be skipped then few succeeding record processed then again getting error.
pattern is like:
